LISTEN when you come here ask for Sam. Sam is AMAZINGLY HELPFUL ,KIND and goes above and beyond for her guest. The hotel itself is beautiful from the amenities down to the scent I will definitely be staying here again.

I had very high expectations for the hotel considering it was a Sheraton and owned by Starwood Hotels and every Starwood I have ever stayed at has always been top notch. We stayed there due to having a graduation that weekend and the price was unbeatable for what I presumed was a 4-star hotel. The rooms were very nice, there were two pools (one indoor, one outdoor), the hotel was very clean and the grounds kept up well, gives complimentary water and lemonade, has a full bar and restaurant, and it actually looked and felt like a 4-star hotel. However, everything else was NOT 4-star. The hotel has a design that puts an indoor pool with a waterfall in the main interior section of the hotel. The area is mediocre in terms of lighting, with almost no natural light shining through the skylights. Your balcony, if your room is on the inside, faces the pool "courtyard" which makes it very noisy when people are in the pool. The interior hallways felt cramped; this was partially due to the ceiling height being about 7-foot-tall and I am a tad over 6 ft. When we arrived at the room, it was hot and humid inside. I promptly ruled it out to the AC not being on in the room. I found the thermostat, turned it as low as I could to move and filter the air and we dressed for the pool and swam for about an hour at the indoor pool to cool off from the 110-degree heat outside. The hot tub didn t work at all and the pool was very heavily chlorinated to the point to where my eyes were red and bloodshot and our skin itched very bad when we got out. We dried off and returned to our room only to find out that the AC did not cool down the room, it was still 80-degrees. We went out for food and returned back to the hotel another hour later and it still was very humid and only a tad bit cooler than when we first arrived. We went to bed and awoke the next morning and left early morning to attend a party for the graduation. I left the AC running all day set to 60-degrees. We were gone for a little over 12 hours and came back to the hotel room and the room was even hotter than when we left, despite the AC running all day. I shut off the AC thinking it was frozen over (which I don t understand how it could be when it had been off 24-hours prior). We left for the pool which was very overcrowded and when we returned, I turned it on and the AC was blowing warm humid air. I promptly called the front desk, who couldn t/wouldn t make any accommodations other than giving us a small desk fan a couple coupons to the restaurant for breakfast. The breakfast was almost as awful as staying in the room for two days. The hot food was cold, the milk warm, and juices and coffee so watered down I would have been insulted if I had paid the regular $11.95 for the meal. The selection was nothing short of what other hotels in the area provide complimentary to you for your stay. The food was so bad; we had gotten very bad stomach cramps within an hour of consuming the breakfast. When we checked out, the lady at the front desk barely made eye contact with me when she noticed that my room number was written on a Post-It note next to the computer stating AC broken . There was absolutely no dialog from her except for her to say Can I Help You? and asking for my room number. Needless to say, this is the worst ever possible experience I ve ever had with Starwood Hotels. It was even worse because my mother from out of town was staying with me and had never stayed in a fancy hotel before other than in Vegas. I felt embarrassed for her to have to suffer through the experience when we could have simply taken the offer to a couch bed at my father s house down the road. It has been almost 72 hours since I checked out of the hotel and the charges have not appeared on my bank statement, only a credit for $49.99 from the hotel (a charge I had not authorized, nor was told about upon check-in). I secretly hope they do not take the money from my account due to horrible experience we had that weekend.
Great stay. Beds are very soft. Rooms look good. The only thing I didn't care for was the interior paint for hall ways. Needs to be updated like rooms.
Great price. Some remodeling going on, but we didn't seem to notice much noise from that. Road noise from freeway was present, but not too bad. No snacks anywhere. Desk said there was snack machines on certain levels, but I checked them all and only found soda machines. They need a pantry or gift shop. And housekeeping didn't seem to understand that the be green hang tag means no room servicing necessary.
I JUST CANT EXPLAIN HOW DISAPPOINTED I AM! This is a run down hotel. There was hair in my tub! The highway noise was just UNACCEPTABLE! JUST when I thought it was bad enough, GO TO THE RESTRAUNT AND PLEASE MAKE A U TURN. I'm sorry but it was just that bad. I have never given such a bad review and I travel for business frequently.
I have stayed here a couple of times this past year. Although the hotel is older, it's very well maintained. All of my interaction with staff has been excellent except the night time security.
Everything is booked online so if you want to extend your stay you can't just do it at the front desk and the indoor pool is full of screaming children but the rooms are nice, showers are decent, traffic noise is minimal beds are firm and pillows are made of clouds.
Nice place, The hotel itself is kind of dated. But the staff was very friendly and helpful. It very close to a shopping plaza with tons of places to eat and shop. Hotel does not keep refrigerators in rooms not a big deal for over night but we were there 4 days and wanted to keep drinks and leftovers cold.
Beautiful hotel. Big room. Nice walk in shower. Indoor pool. Free breakfast. Super comfy bed.I highly recommend staying for a weekend if you're just visiting Phoenix or a local just trying to get away from the mundane.
A very nice place to visit. The rooms are nice beds are comfy and the staff is nice and respectful. The employees were friendly and respectful as well as housekeeping. It was amazing.
Let me preface by saying that including tax, and 20 percent "deposit" we ended up paying about 120 dollars for the room for one night. On the good side: The lobby is set up very nicely and it does feel like a four star hotel when you walk in. The beds are very comfortable and it offers two pools, both an outdoor and an indoor. Theres a nice little restaurant and bar and the food/drinks were reasonably priced and well cooked.
On the bad side: the rooms are very small and outdated. I was expecting a lot more for the amount of money I paid for the night. The continental breakfast that is included in a lot of other hotels costs 11 dollars a day here, and really was not all that good. The eggs were over cooked, the pasties a bit hard, and bacon was nearly raw. On our way to check out, I walked past a very large dead cockroach. I'm grateful I didnt see that on my way in because I probably wouldn't have slept very well knowing there were roaches about.
All in all, it wasnt an awful experience. If I had paid say, 60 dollars for the night I wouldn't be complaining at all. But for 100 dollars a night, I'd expect more. I will not be returning to this place for another stay.
I would have gave this place a 5 star rating but I have encountered racism three times here and ridiculous mob-like political stand points at a bar! Let's keep politics out of bars and racism. Lol theres children here and families that dont want to hear it.
Small room and mediocre all around, staff not super friendly not helpful except one young lady I got on the phone when I called back to have my bill fixed after I d checked out, they overcharged me for an extra night and were very difficult in fixing the error, threatened to check security camera footage which I said go right ahead, I guess they did and realized I was correct and honest. Refunded the overcharge amount but took a week to post the refund on their end. I won t go back and you probably should consider other options first.
Had a standard experience as an attendee of a statewide summit. environment was comfortable but not particularly notable in any way. Lunch catered by hotel was bad.
Room placement can be a bit of walking if you're not prepared for it. Girl at the counter was kind of snooty and less than welcoming. Rooms were ok, AC was cold, and the restaurant downstairs was ok. For what I paid I'd totally stay here again
Booked this room over the phone, and paid fully for it in advance. After a gruelling 5 hour drive in 110 heat, we were refused the room because I had used a debit card, and not a credit card. My money was returned 4 days later, but I'll NEVER do business with these people again. Some of us prefer not to use a credit cards for hotels, and restaurants, especially here in Phoenix the ID theft capital of the world. The smarter people like to limit the amount exposure to their credit, and prevent careless access to their credit card information. This was a true moment in business, and you failed miserably! You lost a 30 year customer, and 2 other potential long term customers that day. Sad.....
Our plans were to stay for one night as we get our son checked into GCU. But as plans can chnage, our car had issues which forced us to stay longer. We could not have been in a more accomidating and friendly hotel. Staying for additional days was not a problem. The rooms are clean, the beds comfy and the hotel food is very good. The front desk staff are very warm and friendly. We've enjoyed our stay here even though our car issues delayed our trip. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.
The staff was quite accommodating for such a large group. The restaurant service sometimes can be a little slow with drinks and such but overall a good experience.
The hotel staff was amazing and responsive. The pools were both beautiful and the area was very clean. We really enjoyed our room and would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Great place. My only complaint is, if breakfast is on the house why can't I bring it back to my room and enjoy it. Actually had words with staff regarding the matter. Needless to say I'm staying a week here if I want to bring my breakfast back to my room to enjoy it . That should not be a problem.
Inside pool which is very cool not really spacious but very high quality beds bedding and restroom plus the fitness room and the amazing waterfall into the pool were and added bonus
Nice hotel. Never got back in time to use the indoor pool But the outdoor pool and hot tub was nice After a long day. Only problem was there was no Coke/ only Pepsi in any of the vending machines so had to drive down the road to get some
Had. Some nice peaceful rested nights in this place very clean friendly staff and the best part is plenty of surveillance no room for weirdos hanging around the place
Older building with some updates but not all. It was pretty clean throughout. Breakfast buffet was decent, bar is pretty calm but good to hang out in if are not looking for a wild scene. Rooms on the west side of the building are super noisy from road noise. Parking was easy.
Not what I expect from SPG. I have stayed in other SPG hotels and usually have a better experience. As others state, The hotel is need of a face lift. The hotel has a musty smell, maybe from the indoor pool or mold ? Unknown. Rooms are upgraded, which have descent furniture, walls and some fixtures need upgrading. Having issues in the room I am staying in. I am used to and like a very cold room. AC unit will not go lower than 68 degrees, when I have the unit set at 60. Engineer came up, and said unit is blowing as cold as it can. I was told they are not traditional AC units that use freon, but something called a cool air system, whatever that is. Due to the air, the room feels humid and same smell as hotel, musty.
Asked to change rooms, and nothing available. Was asked to check with front desk daily. I am here for 10 days this trip and then go home for 3 days and return for another 10 days, but highly doubt staying here on my next trip.
This was a wonderful experience the staff was very nice the room was clean the bed was comfortable the coffee was great!! But the most important was the price it was very reasonable and worth every penny that I paid.
Let me start off with I do not usually write reviews, but I had to express the service I received Father's day weekend 2018 . From the time of check in to check out every single employee I encountered was more than above and beyond. Front desk clerk, security, bar tenters, restaurant clerks, house keeping. ALL constantly went totally out of their to help our group with our request. Two thumbs up guys keep up the great work . I would definitely recommend this location to anybody asking for a perfect stay. I really hope these employees are getting some frequent recognition from their employee.
My family stayed here over Black Friday weekend and had a miserable stay. NO HOT Water!!!! NO HEAT in the room during the COLD winter night!!! Children had to take COLD showers in the winter time. The hotel did not provide a better or functional room after complaining about the heat and hot water problems. The hotel manager Tiffany refused to refund the booking money in full for this horrible experience. Over all, we DO NOT recommend staying at the Four Points Sheraton Phoenix North at all!!!!!
The location was great, nestled in an area that is mostly businesses. The room was beautifully kept with everything we needed. The king bed was great with very fluffy pillows. The indoor pool was heated and felt great along with the jacuzzi. It was just a beautiful building. The room service was fast but my $15.00 meal quickly turned into 26.00 with all the taxes they add. Besides that, my stay was very nice and I look forward to starring again.
I've never ever in my time alive have ever received such a gracious host, my wife and I are so taken back by the sheer surprised of how generous this hotel has been. I would give them 6+ stars if allowed
Loved the black guys working room service and the starbucks. His attitude mace the stay fun and comfortable. But the custpmer service with managme t wasnt so great. My husband has a fractured spine and we were put o. The 3rd and 4th floors before we left. We askdd fkr a balcony for him to smoke and not have to walk far to get outside to car. They told us we werent allowed to be smokimg on the balcony and would be charge a $200 fee! Even though the arcadia doorz were shut !? We eventually move o to the 2nd floor but they move us where they could see us when we were outside in case we smoked outside the balcony again! One night my husband had locked himself out of the room after returning from his mpther room on 4th floor. Having already struggled from room to floor, he struggled bacm towards elevators to use the pho e to call tje desk Anx it took the desk to semd somebody to open it more than 5 minutez to arrive...just to give him a hard time and wouldnt open the door for him becUse he wSnt on the account. They knew his face being that we were ztay8ng there weeks already but due to his mother being the one who paid for the rooms and we just switched rooms from 3rd floor. They mDe him wait another 10 minutes in pain while he laid out on the floor for them to come open tue door
NICE SURPRISE!booked last minute on a pay now find out later hotel and was very impressed !indoor pool with waterfall in the middle of the hotel.. soothing sound!Rooms were spacious with big screen TV.. uber comfy beds and linens , balcony with view , inviting coffee in room station, quality bath products, in room safe, fridge, lots of elevators for convenience, fantastic happy hour, and a great quiet nights sleep!!The only thing I would say was the girl who checked me in was less than inthused about her job!!Other than that FABULOUS!
An extraordinary service, cleanliness and comfort in the room, the wonderful breakfast, the great pools my children did not want to leave them, the price very reasonable
