I don't know what happened this used to be one of the best hotels maybe it's the covid 19 however the front office staff were very rude, pooll service staff never came to check if we needed anything even when the service flag was raised valet and bell hop staff were great housekeepers were great however the rudeness of the front office staff made it an unpleasant stay, which isn't the usual for Marriott hotels, the room was ok the view is great the service wasn't up to standard.
Had a day at the spa with my aunt. Best spa i have been too in ft. Lauderdale. They have the most "extra" amenities

Went to attend a wedding and surprisingly the food and atmosphere was better than I expected. Wedding food tends to be run of the mill but the appetizers during cocktail he were superb as was the roasted chicken I had as my main course.
beautiful place! I was there for my best friend's daughter's wedding. It was spectacular! From the outdoor rehearsal dinner the night before, the wedding in a banquet room, followed by an outdoor pre-reception while they transformed the banquet room into a party room and then a knock-out reception. The next day an after party brunch -OMG sooooo memorable and wonderful. The best!!! <3

OVERPRICED/UNDERWHELMED. This exorbitantly priced "resort" has extra quite sizable daily fees for using the amenities and additionally for parking, even after several hundred dollars a night is charged for the somewhat small and crowded room. During the stay, no one checked to see if we were pleased or comfortable, as they have in other Marriott locations I've stayed. Elite/gold status is also meaningless at this site, save for the tiny bottles of water that would otherwise cost 3.50 each. The room was not entirely clean (I took photos in case anyone perceives this to be an alternative fact), and it had a chair that was literally crammed between 1 of the beds and the wall so that it touched both (it looked ridiculous, and behind the chair is where there was quite a bit of dust on the floor and vent). Finally, I am not a minority, yet there is absolutely no diversity at this location. I stayed there years ago and apparently misremembered that it was great. This visit in Feb 2017 was most disappointing and not to be repeated.

We had a great time at this resort, but boy one staff member made this trip incredible! Grace, Assistant Director of Services was so helpful. We stayed here for 6 days 7 nights. Our family had a great time, the kids loved everything...from the pool to the beach. When we left, we were sad to go....when we arrived at home we realized we did not have our dirty laundry bag! and we had no idea where we had left it. We called the hotel right away and the first few people that picked up were not much help at the front desk, until I finally reached Brian. Brian was kind enough to connect me with Grace, who did everything she could to find our bag. Especially after I told her that my daughters very special blanky was in that bag. After 24 hours of searching and looking....Grace never gave up and she found our bag! Grace was helpful when no one else cared. I'm so thankful for Brian for taking the time to take our info and share it with Grace, and for Grace for being kind and understanding...Thank you! We had over a week of brand new clothes in that bag! You are amazing Grace, and we appreciate all that you did.
On a side note, my daughter was sick for one night...she had a bad sore throat....the next day someone knocked on our door and had soup and crackers for her at no charge!!! I'm not even sure how they knew we had a rough night....this hotel took great care of us!!
Great hotel with beautiful views on either side. Either you get a wonderfully picturesque ocean view, or a great city view. I prefer the city view as I will spend most of my day on the beach and be able to enjoy that view then. At night with a city view, you get a sunset view and watch as the city lights up at night. The pool area is beautiful. They have a large deck with games for the kids and firepits to unwind at night. At the main restaurant located in the lobby, I had one of, if not the best, meals of my life! I would go out of my way to just have dinner there. That alone would give this place 6 stars! Only suggestion, mini fridge in the room please.
Stayed here as we awaited our cruise. A very nice place, good staff and good facilities. Restaurant was excellent and great beach location very close to the cruise ship port. Rooms were excellent. Would definitely stay again.
I think your way over priced and should offer free breakfast not a way over priced one with not much offerings

Went there to meet a friend. They have nice balcony which faces the ocean with fire place where you can warm yourself. Food is superb! Super love their stir-fried vegetable and the staff was so accommodating and nice. Parking is free if you dine in one of their restos, just have it validated

I have stayed here more than 10 times. This time the experience was very different. Check in was supposed to be at 4. 1 room was ready ... at 615 I went to the counter and asked for our room and it wasn t ready... And the agent could of cared less. Mind you we had 7 guests and had to cram into 1 room to shower. That wasn t the worst of it ....When entering the room it was full of mold. It was explained the 9th floor wasn t opened in months. Really? How embarrassing to use that as an excuse. Why wasn t the room walked before releasing keys? It went down hill from there. I called the manager he was nothing short from arrogant. And stated there were no other rooms equivalent to the one we have but would come up to see- he ended up sending Maintenance. The poor maintenance guy explained to me how he was doing work of 3 people and how short staffed they were. He was so nice and tried so hard to find us a room that didn t smell like mold. Finally, the manager came up around 730 pm and we were upgraded to ocean front ....magically new rooms were provided and received a 100 credit per room and late check out at 4 the next day.
Beyond aggravated, hungry, and tired from the day we stayed. But was very disappointing. I ve worked in property management for 25 years and I would Of never treated my residents or prospects in this manor. I have pictures / videos of the room. The reason I am giving this review is because Mgmt sent me a survey to filled out and I never heard back. So sad

This hotel has it all. They have the nicest gym I've ever been to within a hotel. The rooms were well kept and the staff was friendly. The pool was great and the restaurants and pool bar were decent. Being right on the beach was perfect. Really enjoyed our stay here.

I booked an employee and his wife at your hotel in mid September. This couple has never travelled and it was a gift from our business. I spoke to the hotel and provided them with our credit card information so that ALL their stay, including meals, incidentals, transfers to and from the airport and, of course, their hotel room would be paid for in full by our company. I sent all sorts of authorizations to different people to ensure they wouldn't have to pay for anything. A month after the trip, this employee finally told us he had to cover the hotel stay. He didn't know how to tell us and was embarrassed. He told the hotel upon checkout that it was prearranged that all would be paid for. So he clearly had no choice and paid. I called this morning (as soon as I heard about this) to get the invoice so I could reimburse him and was given a very difficult time. Firstly, the agent didn't ask me for my name. I provided the guest name and she then proceeded to ask me for the last four digits of their credit card number. Why would I have that, let alone need it? I was just asking for the invoice for something I booked and was supposed to pay for. The agent wasn't very helpful. I asked to speak to a manager and she told me they would just put me back to her. I asked many questions for which she was silent and I had to ask if she was still there. An agent should be trained to say they are sorry but they don't know the answer to that question and will check and get back to me. I booked the hotel, I was supposed to pay for the hotel and I now can't get the invoice to reimburse this employee? Makes no sense. Marriott Fort Lauderdale Harbour Beach has made an error not only in administration but in judgement. At the end of the call when I asked the agent what she will do for me in order to make up for this mixup and I gave her some suggestions i.e. give me the points for the stay or provide me with a free night, again she went completely silent. When I asked if she was still there she said she would have someone call me back except she never asked my name or number. How is someone calling me back? Did I mention the only way now for me to get the invoice is to get the employee's credit card number and call you back for what I'm expecting another bad call? Awful experience. Never again
Very exspensive hotel with sensors on the mini bar and waterbottles. Just opening and or moving charges you. The hallways are beyond hot and the ac in the rooms are barely functional. Had the ac on the lowest setting (65) possible with the highest fan setting and still we were hot at night and slept with no covers. I know south florida heat, lived there 23 years, doesnt excuse the heat in such an exspensive hotel.

Imagine a Motel 6 with great views! Hotel lobby is nice but rooms have been severely downgraded with all tile floors and cheap decor. Not at all what you would come to expect from a Full Service Marriott Resort. Very disappointed Platinum Elite Member.
Disclaimer, we only went to the beach and restaurant to meet friends with access to the facilities, but I must say both were really excellent. Great service, excellent amenities.

Good location at the Southern end of the Fort Lauderdale Beach. Great service, but a bit pricey. Love the free cookies by the pool in the afternoon, but I guess we are paying for it with the $20+ breakfast
THIS IS ABSOLUTELY A BEAUTIFUL HOTEL INSIDE AND OUT WITH AMAZING DECOR INSIDE, FIRE PITS OUTSIDE, AND PRIVATE BEACH ACCESS IT ALSO OFFERS A LARGE POOL AND LAUNGE AREA WITH A WONDERFUL RESTAURANT AND BAR THAT HAS AWESOME FOOD GREAT DRINKS AND A FRIENDLY STAFF THAT IS OUT OF THIS WORLD EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT IS ALL I CAN SAY ABOUT THIS HOTEL!!!!!!!!!!(SIDE NOTE MY ROOM HAD FULLY STOCKED MINI BAR )

Staff is great. Super nice. Came from a red eye flight with kids. Fortunately our room was ready for check-in. Thank goodness. The hospitality at Marriott is why I'd come back.
The nice thing about this resort is the water activities and the drop in for the kids.

Nice location, wonderful beach and friendly and helpful staff. However, food and drink prices are inflated even by hotel standards. Alternate food and drink options are either a 20 minute walk, or an inexpensive taxi/ride share away.
Walked around barefoot as soon as we walked into room and before long my feet had some type of dirty film on them. Coffee cup laying right outside door when we first checked in. Property is beach front. Views were nice.

This is a lovely resort hotel. It had everything anyone could want including lovely pool and beach. It's a little sprawling for my taste, but nonetheless a fabulous resort.
