Great beach side resort, lots of fun things to do. Room views of the ocean are amazing, and there's no lack of entertainment with all the ships, planes, and people to watch. I'll be back.
Really liked staying here. Great ocean front hotel
They had a self parking option which was nice. The hotel/bar/pool area was beautiful. Very modern and clean. The hotel room it's self was a bit small but again very modern and clean. The staff was all very friendly. They had a private beach which was nice. I would definitely recommend staying there.
The location is not ideal since it's not on the main strip. However, the beach is right outside your window and the beautiful breeze too. I loved the tranquility of the hotel and people are extremely helpful and accommodating. I wish they had like a shuttle bus to take you to certain places instead of ubering everywhere.. Anyway, had a great time.
Ballrooms are large and clean. Great location for a conference.
Worst stay @ a Marriott location I have ever had. Our beautiful view room is of a rooftop with loud exhaust fans. Yes they run all night. Also, going out on the balcony is out of the question as the exhaust fans are so large and so close the head being emitted from them makes the balcony unbearable. Contacted customer service through the app with no response.. We will never stay at this location ever again. Terrible. Added photos of the lovely view.
The rooms were very nice, but a little small. The service was excellent and the location is perfect. Huge pool too.
Poor service to say the least! Didn't tell us about the happy hour, didn't refill water, we really were a bother. Food just ok. 90.00 tab for 3 meals and an appetizer and 2 12oz beers. Hmmmmm I really couldn't complain, husband's birthday and he picked the restaurant. Oh and Marriott, tell your servers ( our server) not to dump the plastic cups of liquid over the wooden rail into the bushes. Geez that's too tacky! Oh and a large group of white trash, next to our table had loud country music blasting from a radio they brought to dinner. OMG. Definitely don't go here unless you stay at this overpriced Marriott and want to hang out with trash and have servers that don't want to wait on you.
My wife checked in last Sat., 8/28/16. Attending a banking seminar.
From what I gather, the place looks very nice - ocean-front - amenities fairly good.
On the downside, the are no other places to dine other than what's in the hotel or the others nearby. All are very expensive and the service leaves much to be desired. On Tue., 8/30/16, it took 1hr 10min for their lunch to be served. Waiter didn't turn in the order.
The place is off the beaten path. You either need a rent car($25 a day to park) or take a cab into town to find an affordable restaurant. That's at least $20.
If you are a local, it might be a little better if you have your own car and know where to go.
If you're planning a seminar here for a large group, I would think again.
Great hotel! Unfortunately, I stayed there only for 1 day. Very comfortable bed and minimalistic design in the room.
This is my second time here and my experience was not as good as the last time. I spent about $300 per night for the view in the photo below and that large funnel was noisy. The floors in the room were filthy enough that walking around the room in bare feet resulted in black soles that I had to wash before getting in bed. I expected more.
Dinner menu absolutely atrocious no bar food wings burgers etc bartender extremely rude could care less about you
Hard to find, but it was spring break and some roads were closed.
Great place to hold a convention. Dog friendly which is important to me. Garage self park free for guests.
Great service, friendly staff, great food, and great views. Went for a professional event with my VP team.
The outside was nice, very classy, loved everything except the parking.
A great place to entertain guests have the family over for the weekend or just relax on a Couple's Retreat
Rooms are very nice. Amenities are expensive but a great hotel.
Beautiful property. Amazing staff. I came to visit a friend who was staying there and I was amazed at the high level of hospitality provided.
This hotel was excellent, great customer service, immaculate clean in our villa, all the amenities you need from washer, dryer, to dishes, utensils, paper towels, just everything. All you need is your tooth brush. Our view was to die for, beautiful view for the boat parade. Bed very comfortable, clean everything. The minute we arrived they took care of us like we were royalty, really. You will love this place. Everything is in walking distance which is great. Again I will return for another spoiled vacation. Can't wait! Five star and beyond.
Reception staff friendly and helpful, good attitude, arrived early and was in the room 15 min later, wonderful. Staff were friendly and just a wonderful first time experience.
This hotel is great! The staff was very helpful and the check in process was very quick. The room was very spacious, with a comfortable bed, nice size bathroom and a beautiful view! The room also had a nice size tv and desk space. The room service was quick and they offer a great breakfast selection. I would definitely go back!
Nice hotel but the Starbucks doesn't accept any coupons or birthday credits.
Pretty good food, nice staff, nice rooms, only complaint is my room's bathroom had no lock
Great chain quality. We met him more than 20 years ago. It looks excellent yet. I remember seeing the cruise ships entering the port of Fort Lauderdele. I pay tribute to the brave ladies.
The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was happy as soon as I arrived. The valet guys were quick, friendly, and helpful. The room was immaculate, the shower had great water pressure, and I have no complaints whatsoever. Balcony was cool, too. The beach was walking distance and well groomed.
Very friendly staff and wonderful beach. Paid for a balcony but was given a room that the balcony was closed off. Not a huge deal but it loses a star. Oh and $40 a day parking.
I came here for a conference. Disappointed isn't even the right word. Check in was a pleasant enough process although they only had 2 people working the desk when they knew 100's of people would be arriving for the conference. First disappointment, I reserved a king size bed but they gave me a room with 2 doubles. Next both beds had sand in the sheets. Does that mean they hadn't been changed b4 my arrival. It was disgusting. So I tried to call downstairs to get the sheets changed, but the phone receiver wasn't working. The front desk person just kept yelling hello into the phone. He didn't even try to call back after I attempted to call 3 times. Most hotels can see the room number that is calling. I had to call from my cell. Which was another disappointment even though we are right on the beach for some reason I could get no signal anywhere inside the building. Had to stay on their wifi the entire time. I finally got my request in for them to fix the phone and change the sheets but it wouldn't happen until the morning. I had to sleep on top of the bed spread to avoid the sand. The next day house keeping came and went without changing the sheets. I know this bc the same stain that was there the night b4 was still there now although they made the beds. I could go on. The floor was dirty. I walked around in my slippers the entire time. I've never had to do that b4 and I have stayed at dozens and dozens of hotels.
Excellent stay. Facilities are wonderful and the staff is very friendly.
Great place to stay! Their pool is very nice and I love that they have servers come to your lounge chair :)
Beautiful. Nice getaway. Wish everything could be this beautiful!
Very special place to celebrate with the one you love!
Beautiful grounds and beach with all the toys, incredible staff, great gift shop, Starbucks in lobby. No room or maid service yet. The restaurants need some fine tuning but a great place overall.
Ate in the restaurant there.
We recommend.
Went there with my husband and baby for a few days for a holiday party. The staff was fantastic! My son ended up getting sick and one of the ladies in the gift shop gave me great advice that helped him be more comfortable for the remainder of our stay.
Amazing hotel. The beachfront rooms are fantastic. It's the only hotel that is right on the water.
Great restaurant. Great food very fresh. Service was ok....
Loved the pool area. Lunch at the restaurant was really nice. Food was great. Employees need to put their phones away and pay more attention to guests.
Charge for everything even the wireless. Not very much food to choose from. Everything seems to be $20 for a burger and fries.
A perfect weekend getaway. Beautiful resort with expansive beach activities. Great food and service
Great hotel! I really enjoyed my stay. The pool area was nice the private beach area was beautiful. Very clean and the staff was very nice and accommodating.
I went to the Marriott for my Homecoming. Staff was very helpful and the hotel was very nice.
Clean but very lacklustre hotel, one of the less ghetto-ish hotels in Fort Lauderdale but for 600 USD a night I d expect less claustrophobic rooms, literally nothing in the room, not even a stocked bar fridge, nor a bottle opener. I m shocked it has 4 stars, feels like a solid 3-3.5 star business hotel. Restaurants are pretty sad, had a burger at ocean 3030 and it was clearly straight out the freezer. Resort Has a private beach which is nice but honestly the value proposition here is ridiculously bad. Our room looked like it was last updated in 1940, had to move rooms and we ended up buying two rooms as we literally couldn t move in the room after we put a crib for a one year old in the room. Air BnB/VRBO for us next time.
It is the big Marriott hotel with many facilities. Table Tennis court, Swimming pool that set temperature at 75F so don't worry if you happen to be there and it's cold. However, as we also stay with Marriott with different locations. The complimentary seem to be a little lack compare to another marriot that smaller. They also serve lemonade and Cookies every Wednesday :) and that is lovely. From here, you can also drive 30min. to Miami Beach and around 15min.to Downtown.
Service was prompt and polite. pool area was very well kept.
Beautiful oceanfront hotel! Everything was lovely. Clean rooms, welcoming staff, large pool with waterfall and steps from the ocean! We loved watching the sunrise from lounge chairs under a tiki umbrella in the mournful, and ending the night by a warm fire while listening to the waves crashing on the beach. Many activities such as bored games, ping pong, oversized corn hole, movies for the kids, salon and spa, gift shops, gym and my favorite amenity, an on-site Starbucks! Only two negative points from my group; out room was a bit small for four people. It had two full sized beds but not much seating or room to move about. Also, it was difficult to find parking in the parking garage. Some parts were under construction leaving very few free spots and many were too small to squeeze our car into. We will definitely stay here again, but will probably upgrade to a larger room and splurge on the valet parking!
A very solid 4 stars. The amenities are top notch and the breath of the hotel is huge. One of Ft. Lauderdale's few hotels with direct beach access (no crossing streets). Rooms are typical of a Marriott. This is one of the best hotels I've been to for families. There is a great toddler water playground with water spouts and lots of toys that is fenced off so parents can helicopter hover a 100ft instead of 10.
Great location, Beautiful beaches. Be aware it is a resort so everything is pretty pricy. Nothing greatly special but nothing terrible either. Staff seems a little more stuffy than I'm used to.
I attended a corporate event at this hotel. The hotel covered all needs, such as conference rooms and food. Very good place to have an event, like a conference.
Awesome Resort...wish it had all inclusive options..will return again.
Visited the restaurant and bar at the hotel - great food quality and dining. Wine selection was good at reasonable prices. View of the ocean and pools added a great ambiance as well.
Great staff, very well kept building, grounds and pools.
staff is great had an issue with room key not working and got a free upgrade to a large suite
Lovely property with many amenities. Located on the beach and very fine service. Located very close to the Ft Lauderdale Cruise Pier.
Food was very good and service was great. Had an issue with my steak being too rare and they promptly replaced it without an issue.
It was just ok.. nothing special. Would of like more food options.
I asked a lady a question on the phone she said she would call me back but never did.
Great staff, very clean felt like a home away from home
Great staff and great service. My brother wanted a beach proposal and they were more than accommodating with our needs. Our large group had access to all the facilities and the proposal was nothing short of phenomenal on their private beach resort.
This place is not a hotel. It s a time share resort. We came here thinking it was a hotel. Beware that checkout time is 10:00, no exceptions. If you re coming here to a stay over for a cruise I d recommend something else.
Great customer service and excellent accommodation's....
Visited Marriot to get Starbucks. The hotel seemed spacious and clean.
Nice property. A little under a mile walk to the strip. Some nice inclusions with the room such as daily non motorized water toys for an hour. The food at the restaurants was good and plentiful, but in my opinion quite expensive. A bottle of soda at the shop will cost you $3.74. Pool is nice with lots of chairs. All in all nice.
Parking scam. $45 to valet for 9 hours, or $36 to park in the garage.
Great location, friendly staff, very clean rooms, awesome beach special thanks to Ashley and Cecile at the front desk they welcomed us with wonderful smile explained all of the amenities in the hotel. I would definitely recommend this resort.
Not bad. I've been to nicer places for cheaper. Great view of container ships in the water..
The room was lovely as was the resort. The food is not what you'd hope (at least not what I had) and the room was loud.
Went here for a conference. Was a nice place. Parking is awful onsite though. The garage is always packed and its expensive. If you push the help button at the pay kiosk enough times they will just let you out without paying for parking
