Perfect place for weekend getaway with family, friends or loved one.

Its located in hadapsar, around 40 min drive from pune city and 4 hrs from mumbai.

But trust me, it worth to visit this place.

It's a heritage fort which converts into 5* property.
It has spacious and comfortable rooms, 2 in house restaurants, temperature controlled swimming pool, museum, big lawn area, wine storage area, pond, indoor and outdoor games facility.

Been here with my friend, we booked kholi which is their deluxe category.
Room was clean and spacious enough for person.

We received warm welcome from staff with tutari and nagada.

After check in, we decided to take an audio tour of fort and museum which is complimentary with room package.

Audio tour was totally amazing.

They have in house 2 restaurants, in which "Payatha" is a buffet restaurant and "Chajja" is 24/7 a la carte coffee shop which serves moghlai, Continental, modern, maharashtrian cuisine.

We had our lunch and dinner in chajja only.
Staff here is super friendly and always ready to make your day special and memorable.

They gave us surprise by arranging special table with a decoration and view to celebrate my friend's birthday.
Cheers to them!

We had a great time here.

Truly this place treats you like royals right from their way of a grand welcome with instruments.

The hotel has exemplary activities sprawled over 25 acres for all age groups like archery, rifle shooting, fishing, trekking, football and much more.

The transport options available are only by road and we drove ourselves by car.

Don't miss the audio tour. This tour covers all the tiny bits of the fort(spread throughout the property) and explains the importance of each part and not to forget a little museum tour too. The museum is a beautiful wooden stand alone structure with a great collection.

Fort JadhavGADH, offers distinctive dining experiences from casual all-day-dining, barbecues, to ethnic fine dining and al fresco options to select from. One of them is Chajja which offers North Indian cuisine and Chinese where I had the best fried rice and paneer subji with piping hot naans. Whereas the other restaurant was Payatha the heritage cuisine foothill resto where we totally drooled over widely spread buffet which had Maharashtrian, South Indian and other continental options to offer for breakfast of which we enjoyed every dish which was all so authentic and of great quality.

The stay is just another word for Bliss on Earth as each room had a great view and the category of rooms suited all patrons be it for family or a couple.

It fulfills all needs and also with such variety of activities to offer will leave you not bored and with a full satisfied tummy.

Excellent. Well maintained. Near Pune. Pool is not deep (2-3 ft) but a good spot to spend time.
Lawn area is also very well maintained. Kids have too much fun. There is trek in morning over a hill behind the fort.

On our trip to India to visit family we stayed one night at the Fort JadhavGadh Hotel. We all had a great time having breakfast on the balcony overlooking the countryside and hiking up the hills behind the fort. The staff was very helpful and attentive. Photos are not allowed in the museum or I would have included a few. The museum has many artifacts used in the daily life in india of the period. The museum guide was excellent and gave us a thorough understanding of the items and how they were used in 1700 through early 1900 India. Definatly reccomend to anyone wishing to have a relaxing and peaceful stay outside the city.

Fort Jadhavgadh is old fort converted into a heritage hotel. The place is very well done keeping the ethnic character. The rooms are good. Most rooms look at the courtyard. We opted for the hill view room on the 2nd floor it was well worth it. The swimming pool is good for family and walking not for intense swimming. Great part is that it is heated so can be used even in winter.
Most activities are there on the weekends while during the week you may find the payatha restaurant closed. The property has a small lake and a temple. Many activities take place on the lawn.
THe Aai museum is very well kept and houses a collection of historic household items.
The place is off the main road so carry all the medicines needed as there will not be a medical store nearby.
Internet is chargeable. The mobile internet is intermittent.
Payatha resturant give the usual breakfast with maharastrian fare as well is decent.
Chajja the coffee shop offers continental, punjabi and little bit of maharashtrian food.
Staff is good and courteous.
This place is not for people with disabilities. Most of the old look is retained so the staircases are steep and made of uneven stones which can be a problem for people with knee problems. Definitely not a Wheel chair friendly place.
In all we had a quiet time which was what we wanted with enough activities to be done at our leisure

Fort Jadhavgadh, built in c1712 AD is a living Maratha monument cum resort in the vicinity of Pune city, situated in the laps of Shahyadri. The hotel really reflects the grandiose of the bygone era of Marathas. The restaurant serves quality foods.

The fort turned into a 5 star hotel and offers you a place for the weekend getaway. The fort is more than 300 years old and you can experience the Maratha history to some extent. To be honest, you can take it as a quick getaway from the mundane routine but please check the rooms tariffs in case you wish to stay. For me they are on the higher side. I took a day trip spent 3-4 hours in the fort hotel that included lunch, museum and fort tour, and some relaxed time. I didn't find a lot of things to do, except leisure so plan accordingly.

Destination wedding place. Old structure but internally converted it to good 5 star palace with historical way. You will enjoy with family. In rainy season nice view from this place. Though it's not a fort but you can get a feel like you're living in fort. Good landscape perfectly used old rooms for luxury stay. Food is good.

Love this place.. Maharashtra tourism should allow this to happen on every fort. That way the fort's values are preserved. Fort is intact. And tourism is raised again. Plus it will open up job opportunities for locals. This is a brilliant concept.

The road from highway to fort is not in good condition. Once you reach the fort, you have to climb up for the reception. Staff is very welcoming. They have huge rooms, swimming pool. Restaurant has amazing food quality. Best ambience ever.

If you're looking for a weekend away from city life. This place is perfect for your relaxing and historical weekend.
