Great ambience. Nice food. Lots of history...Will visit again..
Came for my friend's wedding. Well I didn't get to stay at any of the rooms, but I went to check out the Maharaja Suit, the rooms is awesome. With years old wood and stone architecture, visiting the place will give an idea how the people lived there. Unfortunately , I didn't get to explore the museum otherwise I would have learnt more about the place. The best thing was the triumphant and dhool music they played at the entrance, when they welcome the guest.
Amazing place. Only fort in the state which is converted into hotel. I went in monsoon season. Best place to spend time with family.
Best experience for Royal Maratha treatment!
Ambiance, personal museum, and overall service is a 5 star.
Takes you back to the ages of Shivaji Maharaj. Pure historical extravaganza.
Nice place to stay with friends and family
Nice garden to play cricket, badminton, volleyball, football etc.
Also have nice n small swimming pool.
But it's costly
A good place to relax with family. They gave restored the place well. It does have a temperature controlled swimming pool also. It's a huge property with rooms spread across the acers of land which is filled with greenary
Loved every bit of stay at the place, amazing food, well maintained property and had great weather to add to it all.
Nice place for casual outings near Pune...but a expensive one...got with limited collection
Very nice n surreal experience.. worth visiting ..
Amazing Property .... unique way of portraying our old customs, traditions.
What a amazing amazing place it is, you can find peace in every corner of the fort. Well maintained and luxurious.
Spacious rooms, great location, good food and friendly staff.
One time must watch and for food Barr Barr dekho bu price is little high
It's an alright place. Not a lot to do there. The foods super expensive.
Firstly its nearby to Mumbai and. pune its better if you drive in your own car or hire one as ola or uber are inaccessible..its a beautiful Heritage site a fort converted into a luxrious hotel.you get a rustic feel once you enter, the place is surrounded with lush green lawns and u can.hear continuos chirping of birds ,fresh air and clean rooms and they even have ac tents which is quite an experience.the food is served fresh and is very tasty you can also request the chef for some special delicacies.the staff is also helpful and courteous.we enjoyed the stay will surely recommend. Fort Jadhabgad to my friends and family.
Good place.
Little far away from city.
No transport.
Personal cabs.
Must watch place. Nice fooding by Kamath management. Bit hire charges for accomodation for night stayers
Historical place. A actual fort. Nice experience. Rooms are spacious.
This is awesome place for theme based Maharashtrian wedding. Right from welcome to send off you can feel the royal treatment.
Owesome place for weekends. There are nice museum. You can show lot of old equipment in 15th century.
Awasome place for a group of people. There was a trasure hunt event, volly ball, cricket, archary, shooting etc
A very beautiful fort turned into heritage hotel. Good food and ambience. A good destination for enjoying your weekend. Rooms are good. Tents are outside the main fort in the backyard not recommended for families as it is in a side. Instead of it you go for rooms inside the fort. Swimming pool is on the upper level and spa is al there for rejuvenation. Over all best deal for money.
Awesome place... Well maintained.... Worth a visit.... Scenic... and very good food... humble staff...
Beautiful place to hangout with family and friends on a weekend ... service was good.B
An actual fort. My room was very spacious with an amazing view. Great during rains. Staff is very friendly. Good food.
Good place to stay and enjoy a relaxing weekend with family and friends. Well maintained by the Orchid group. A little expensive, but worth the royal experience it offers!
Amazing for corporate outings. Great view. There is live music during dinner.
Beautiful location, scenic views, historical relevance, all the facilities available in a regular hotel, lovely food incredible dining area with a great view during the day and amazing ambience in the evening. It's got something for everyone - open lawns for playing any sport right from cricket to football to badminton, etc., dancehall for parties, swimming pool located at the top most point in the fort!
Good experience, but too many add on charges. WiFi is extra, even an ironer requires paying extra.
I went for a day trip. It's alright to go in a group and spend the day there..food wasn't great, service was just average. For the price they are charging I feel they need to have more variety in the buffet
It's a good place for a day picnic with family. Recommended to visit in group to enjoy extensive outdoor activity
Great place to stay and hang out with family and friends. I attended a wedding at Fort Jadhavgadh and stayed for couple of nights.
They have rooms surrounding the main building and few cottages are located in outskirts about 5 mins walk from the fort.
Swimming pool is at the top of the fort and it is very beautiful.
Not recommended for old age people as there are lot of stairs to climb to go to any place.
Fort is good...staff skills below average...entrance road is just worst....we brought our guest to this place looking at review and pics but it was totaly opposite.
You get to live inside a fort with all modern amenities.
Restaurants is ok ok.
You get royal welcome at ghe reception.
Audio tour is lengthy but informative.
The museum is built with lot of different items.
A well maintained heritage property. It's somewhat on the expensive side but worth the experience once. The final approach is a kuccha road that does not really suit the palace.
I went there for wedding. But the location is really cool and prestigious. Service is also good.
I really liked the aesthetics of this place. There is a open to sky pool with a tree and seating exactly in between the heritage architecture just adds up to the beauty and the fort is surrounded by hills so evening time of sunset is the best time to visit. But they should add more options in food menu.
The place is good to spend a day if u have interest in forts and maratha culture .Not good to go in summers.
It's a excellent resort with spacious rooms and built in a fort
Good not great, rooms basic... Deep steps but great welcome
Place is good but expected more in terms of services and food.Service was little slow and food was below expectation. I had to call for small things which must be there before customer enters the room.
Otherwise location is perfect for chill out leisure time.
3 star from my side
Excellent service. The buffet either for the dinner or for the breakfast was excellent. With a variety of foods from all across India. Very well maintained property and the staff is very courteous with lots of delicate attentions. The surroundings are perfect for a short walk with beautiful views on the nearby mountains. Excellent for a getaway at a short distance from Pune. Highly recommended.
Good place but road to fort is horrible.. It should be taken care immediately...Then only we will wish to visit often & often to such beautiful place... & recommend our friends...
Decent place for overnight stay with courteous staff and good taste of the available cuisines minus the bakery items
Very nice place for group visit. A old fort has been converted to a resort. Food is not that but ok. Main attraction was lush green garden, archery, shooting. Situated at saswad road surrounding scenery is beautiful, specially is rainy season. There is a Mercury solid stone which is very heavy and they is a challenge to lift it with one hand. All our family member tried but no one could do it,.
Not worth at all very expensive place, only location and views are good especially recommended for destinations wedding, and also the price of foods are very high wherr the qty is also very less, the buffet lunch is also present for that per person 999rs is charged,, if ull are in a group please dont go for it.
A historical heritage property, superb services, terrific bird's eye view from the terrace of the fort, lush green garden, good food and royal stay....superb by all means
Great food and a beautiful peaceful place. Unfortunately it was booked for a wedding so we couldn't enter.
This is a nice place for relaxation and change in routine. The environmental conditions are also excellent within the old fort premises. One can easily spend couple of days or a weekend here with all the amenities of a four star hotel inside a fort with a class of foods that should suit veg and nonveg types. You have a good live music at your dinner time. Excellent place to have a good stroll around. Reception is of typical Mavala style of Marathi empire. The only constraint is high exorbitant cost which a common person cannot afford. One has to go there with a very fat valet/ purse. A S Datey .
It's Nice place to visit for a day. Not worth for staying. Food is good quality.
A good place to hangout for a day
Also its worth staying back for a night.
I have been to Jadhavgadh Fort 3 or 4 times for lunch. I felt with each visit the service level has gone down.
I am sharing this review for my last visit on Sunday (1st Dec 2019), for which I had pre-booked Chajja for lunch with family and friends.
The tables and sofas were unorganized and were not even clean. Sofas are old (not sure if they are of ancient times that they are still keep it) but the chairs (which are of new era) were not proper and were not clean.
We had reached by around 3 PM and the waiter attending us tells us that tandoor kitchen is open for another 10 mins, so better order the tandoor items quickly.
For Main course, we ordered butter rotis and what we got was plain rotis with no butter. On telling the waiter that we had ordered butter rotis he just listened to me and there was no response or apology from his end and he just went away.
I had to reach to the waiter most of the time for anything I needed (like any additional food item to be ordered, provide paper napkins, water to drink, etc.
We had ordered 3 different types of non veg starters. In the bill that was handed over to me, 2 starters were named same as if we have ordered two quantities of that. Which was not the case. Even if the price is same for the two starters, this should not happen.
The kind of price you are charging, does really match with the service provided. I think I would have spent less going for a dinner at any restaurant in a 5 star hotel.
It was my birthday party to family members and friends and it didn't turned up well. Very disappointed.
It is good place to spend a day. Historical place. Hotel management has maintained its heritage. Very nice garden and landscaping.
Very good food but Quite expensive.
Access road is pathetic.
Good hospitality. You will definitely enjoy being there.
You can play some games like badminton, football, volleyball, cricket and shooting etc. You have to pay extra to avail equipments to play these games. Children amusement like magic show.
One of best hotel in town....experience was amazing...must visit
Beautiful place and a slice of history to boot - the museum is a sure shot winner... But the management - both the company and that at the resort/hotel - seem to be confused on quite a few things... In case those things are plugged, this can be a big winner IMHO!
It's a fort type restorent according to me. Food is to good here. But if you go by considering Fort it is a wrong place. For sport activity uncovered ground is available
beautiful and fulfilling. meets the two very important criteria of being called as good place. well maintained surroundings which are naturally blessed and good food. its fort turned into five star hotel and does it work aptly.
One of the best hotel i have visited which converted from original Fort.
A historical place. Maintained well by the Kamat Group. Pricey but worth.
It's probably one of the best place to unwind on weekends near Pune. They serve delicious food and unmatched options for desserts makes me visit this place more often. It's very nicely maintained property, with lush greenaries and a museum.
Good place to spend time with family and friends, good food and open areas to play.
