I got my wedding dress from Formally Yours, and I m SO happy that I did! After describing what I was looking for, they made my vision come to life, and I truly felt like a bride in my wedding dress! The gown was absolutely beautiful and exactly what I had always pictured myself wearing on my wedding day. The staff was very intentional and patient and made the experience so special and fun! I came to Formally Yours to look for my wedding dress and my bridesmaid dresses. My experience was WONDERFUL. Everyone here is so helpful and they really care about what you want. We had the pleasure of having the same girl help us with finding my wedding dress and my bridesmaid dresses...it made the whole experience feel very personal. I would totally recommend coming here if you are looking for a wedding dress, bridesmaid dress, or any other formal dress.
I went on a Friday and was very excited. I had heard great things and knew the many awards Formally Yours has received. I was never asked about my venue or what look I m going for. I m a bride who is very open minded and I haven t had a completely clear idea of what I want exactly. I never felt very unique or special during my appointment. My sister kept trying to help me in the fitting room and she was not allowed. I had to ask to try on the same dress four different times and I had to try to look past the terrible spray tan stains all over the top. Each dress I was just asked what do you think and there was no direction for the appointment. I basically felt like I was looking and trying on everything by myself. I ended up buying a dress, but I was honestly ready to leave. My family kept asking why I wasn t SUPER excited to say Yes to a dress and it s because I was not having the experience I was looking forward to. I will say the place was very clean and had great prices.
UPDATE: The Owner called me and was very apologetic and truly wanted to know what could have made the appointment better. She was very sincere and I could tell she takes each review and bride relationship to heart. It could have been an off day for the business or I was comparing too much to other stores. BUT I know if you go to Formally Yours they will make everything right no matter what.
I am the maid of honnor in my cousin's wedding and planned a whole day of bridal shopping in Atlanta. No store compared to Formally Yours! The entire bridal party and the bride loved the experience and all of the consultants. Every single one was so incredible and were so happy to help the bride find the dress of her dreams for a great price! Perfect end to our crazy shopping day! We should've come to Formally Yours first!
Formally yours is a good place for a cheaper Wedding Dresses. it fits most brides budget. I have to say that you need to know what you are looking for before you come here. they have a lot of choices to choose from. Do not bring a lot of friends with you because it will make you even more confusing. I would say that the staff is people pleasing type of personality. I would listen to your gut when picking out a dress. Alterations were fantastic. I don't know why people keep complaining, probably have nothing better to do other than writing complaining reviews wherever they go. I would say that whatever needs to be altered she will do it. She is NOT however a cleaners person so do not ask her if she can remove a stain, her job is to ALTER the dress. She is amazing at what she does and you can see that she has 28 years of experience. Liliya most of the time will find a solution to your dress, you will walk away satisfied if you listen to what she says. Always pay close attention to how you got the dress (clean dirty stains,ripped, holes) so you don't complain after she alters is.
I had been dress shopping all stinkin day and I was feeling so defeated and tired. I called Formally Yours to ask if I could make an appointment, they heard the stress in my voice and told me to come in as soon as I could. I drove there and when I got there, they just started pulling dresses and helping me. I felt so uplifted. For the first time, I could imagine myself as a bride. They are SO kind. They genuinely care about each bride and want to help as much as they can. I was there for maybe an hour and they made me feel like family. And they put no pressure on me, just helped lift me up and helped me figure out what I wanted. Do yourself a favor and skip the David's bridal places, go here and treat yourself.
Wow! The Formally Yours staff did an incredible job helping me select the PERFECT wedding gown! Cathy and Scarlett went above and beyond to meet and exceed every expectation for my big day!! I remember looking through all their gorgeous gowns unsure of the style that I wanted for my wedding dress. Cathy is the one who selected the dress I ended up falling in love with! She knew my needs better than I did! Haha The Formally Yours team also helped me choose the most beautiful bridesmaids dresses in Cornflower Blue! They looked spectacular on all the girls and were flattering for every height, skin tone, and hair color! I also appreciate their help in selecting the perfect veil, hair clip, and jewelry too! Formally Yours is an incredible bridal store and I highly recommend them!
I can t say enough wonderful things about Cathy and all the wonderful people who work at this store! They all went above and beyond to help me get a flower girl dress for my niece s wedding. The manufacturer was very slow to respond to Cathy, but she kept on them and got me the perfect dress for my daughter to wear. We purchased our bridesmaids dresses from Formally Yours for my sisters wedding and I was very disappointed. When we got there for our scheduled appointment we were not greeted very kindly. We were taken to the bridesmaid dresses and were given a teenager to help us pick a dress out. The two bridesmaid were a bigger size than most of the sample dresses that they had so it was hard to determine what would look nice on our body type and we were told we would have to do the best we could to get the dresses on. It would have helped if we had a more experienced person that kind of knew what dress type would work best. When we finally picked a dress after trying on what seemed like every dress they had and then came time to pick he color. They didn't have anything that would show us what shade of red the dress would be in the material that it came in. We also didn't know that there would be no back to the dress as we told the girl helping us that we would need to be able to wear a bra with it. Since the dress didn't fit the way it was supposed to on us we didn't realize this. We go to pay for the dresses and I was told to order a dress size that was 3 sizes bigger than my dress size. I told them that it was three sizes different and they just said that is what the book says to order based on the measurements that they took. Since I haven't ordered a bridesmaid dress before I assumed that they knew what they were talking about and went ahead and placed the order. We were not told how long it would take to get the dresses in but it would be in time for the wedding. We got the dresses almost a month before the wedding which isn't much time when you have to get your dress altered. I was almost in tears when I got my dress because it didn't fit at all. I used Bella to alter my dress and it wasn't the best job. The first time I tried the dress on for Bella it was at the Formally Yours store and I heard the gasp from the FY employee at the front desk. I had to meet with her multiple times and the last time I was in her shop for the final fitting she wasn't even there. Her sister and a few other ladies were there and had her on the phone. They told her that the dress fit like a glove. It did not. It was still big on me and the part that I had her add on the back so that I could wear a bra looked terrible. I had to take it that day because it was to close to the wedding date to have any more alterations done on the dress. I paid more for alteration than I did for the actual dress. If I had just gone ahead and ordered that size I normally wear it would have fit fine. Be careful when they recommend the size to order. I would not use Bella for alterations.
I popped in here to look at dresses as I am getting married in December, so it is quite soon. No one greeted us for about 10 minutes after we arrived, and then we were asked if we had an appointment. We didn't, and asked to look around. We were told they had too many appointment, which was fine, as we were walk-ins. So instead we asked to look at bridesmaid dresses, which they allowed.
After looking through a few options, we asked to look at veils, which the salesgirl said was fine. As we looked at veils, I overheard an associate saying to another employee, "Well they are looking at veils but they can't stay, we have another appointment coming in at 12:30." After that, we got totally uncomfortable and left. The young saleswomen were quite nice, it was an adult associate making the comments. She may have been the owner. Honestly, I felt totally disrespected. The service was borderline rude. It seems as though they don't want to form relationships with future clients. After this lovely experience, as we left an employee half-heartedly asked if I wanted to make an appointment, then felt the need to make commentary on "how soon my wedding was." Not a good experience overall. Went to a couple other bridal places that day and received excellent treatment.
*Owner has responded and I am considering giving this store a second chance. I appreciate the prompt response and earnest answer.
Tammy was wonderful! She was not pushy or over-bearing, actually listened to what I wanted and made my experience very relaxing and enjoyable. I found a dress I fell in love with & felt beautiful in! I would recommend getting an appointment during the week.
I scheduled an appointment at Formally Yours on a Monday for a wedding gown and had an absolutely wonderful experience (I would highly recommend going on a weekday if your schedule allows because it's less crowded)! This was the first bridal salon I'd visited and I was just planning on trying on to get a feel for what styles I liked, little did I know I would leave later that afternoon having purchased my wedding dress! My mom and I were welcomed by Clemmie and she took such great care of us, she pulled dresses within our budget, listened to my feedback and was so accommodating! I had her full attention during our entire appointment; she was such a joy to work with! I tried on less than 10 dresses and found the one! I would recommend any bride-to-be go to Formally Yours!
I give Janiece 5 stars! I had a wonderful experience at Formally Yours Bridal. Everyone was so welcoming and warm spirited. I didn t when have to tell Janiece the size I wore, and every gown she chose flattered me soooo well! I was torn between two dresses and she never pressured me into a sale. I tried those two gowns on probably about three times a piece. I left the store with my dream dress! I can not wait to wear my gown on my wedding day. I went shopping here for bridesmaid dresses (had already bought my own bridal gown). All of my bridesmaids are out of town so I went to look and try on by myself. There's a very large selection on gowns with major designers like Bill Levkoff and Bari Jay but they also carry lesser known designer's dresses, which I appreciated. All of the other shops I went in had a small bridesmaid section. I can see how one commenter says the shop is somewhat unorganized (specifically speaking of the bridesmaid section), but the dresses are indeed organized by designer, color, and length. The bridal section is separated from the rest of the store, which I would appreciate if I had tried on dresses at this shop, though I didn't go over to that section. There's just so many dresses, there's no better way to organize it though, in my opinion.
Anyways, I walked in and I was greeted by the ladies up front. They asked me what style and length I preferred and directed me where I needed to go. She asked me if I wanted her to choose based off the vision I gave her or if I just rather go through the dresses myself. I told her I would go through them myself but asked her to please keep checking on me. And that's exactly what she did. I loved it, I didn't feel rushed to choose dresses (like I said there were so many) and didn't feel like a hawk was looking over me trying to get a sell. She came back every few minutes to put the dresses in the fitting room that I had put to the side. When I went to try on the dresses, they knocked on my door only a few times to see if I needed help with zippers. They truly gave me a good mix of friendliness, service, and space which to me is necessary for bridesmaid dress shopping (it's totally different than bridal gown shopping). And this was midday on a Saturday so if they provided that on their business day and the busiest time, I imagine they're great all the time.
Overall, I would definitely recommend for bridesmaid dresses. I still have to pick a veil, so I'll be visiting in a few weeks.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!! I called and made an appointment, gave Katie the dress #'s I looked at online to be sure they had them in stock... When I arrived at my appointment, she already had them pulled and helped me in and out of each one... She was helpful finding dresses that matched each of the features that I was wanting in my ideal dress and was patient as my mom snapped pictures. She new it was my first visit and was just shopping to get an idea of style and color and didn't try and push me into a purchase. BEAUTIFUL SHOP... the only shop I've found so far with such a wide selection of lace gowns and elegant dresses. Easy, no pressure shopping experience. GREAT JOB KATIE!
I had an amazing experience with today! This was my first time ever trying on a wedding dress, I didn t have any pictures to show for what I liked. Tammy took one look at me and pulled the perfect dress, I only tried on 4 dresses and found the one!! I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with Tammy, she won t let you down!!

My daughter's bridesmaids came in too big. A whole other person would fit in the dress. The price they wanted to charge for alteration was half the price of a whole new dress. They told me a new order wouldn't be in on time. They DID NOT help solve the problem. I took the dress to someone else to alter. The dress is not worth the amount of money. I'm sure I'll find on exactly like it on the rack at Ross! They measured her!
I had the BEST experience at Formally Yours. I set up an appointment with Cathy and she did not disappoint! She was so intuitive and patient with me. I thought I wanted a lace wedding dress, but after telling her the style wedding I was having and the look I was going for, she came out with something totally unexpected (to me). It was this gorgeous crepe wedding dress that just looked so elegant and far surpassed the other dresses I had tried on. I was so in love with my experience and how Cathy was so thoughtful with her dress picks for me!

It was chaotic that day, as there were so many appointments, but they found a way to be super hospitable and patient. Formally Yours has been my go-to shop for homecomings, formals, and most recently, my dream wedding dress! Cathy, Scarlett, and team are always so amazing to work with. Not only is their store filled with the most gorgeous dress collections, Cathy and Scarlett treat every person that walks in like family. They took the time to figure out what styles I liked, what would look good on me as a very petite bride, and pulled several dresses to start with! My wedding dress ended up being the 4th one I tried on. Even though Cathy and Scarlett knew that gown was going to be "the one," they never pressured me to choose before I was ready! They were extremely understanding when I wanted to try on another 10 dresses before making a decision. (Of course, they were both right from the start when I chose the dress they picked for me!) Cathy, Scarlett, and the rest of the team have a such a talent for knowing what looks amazing on every girl! I felt like an absolute princess in my dress - it was everything I have ever dreamed of and more! It's been a year since my wedding, and I still get compliments on how gorgeous my dress was! My bridesmaids, mother, and mother-in-law all got their dresses from Formally Yours, as well. I got so many compliments at my wedding raving about how gorgeous my entire wedding party looked! I went to Formally Yours in Lilburn to help a family friend look for wedding gowns. The workers were very nice and picked the perfect dress for our friend. Soon after our visit, I went to get my prom dress at the same place and Cathy, the owner, helped me pick out the perfect dress! Alterations were fantastic and I couldn't even tell that the seamstress had even touched the dress! I highly recommend Formally Yours for any formal you are planning to attend.

I went in there today with an idea of what kind of dress I wanted, and the woman who helped us knew exactly what I wanted and helped me pick out dresses. The customer service was AMAZING and I found the dress I wanted! :) I'm so happy I went there!
The staff here is really courteous and laid-back! Some bridal shops make you feel like a bride, yes, but pile on the pressure. This is a smaller store that still feels spacious and has a large inventory, and the women who work here definitely have big hearts! They definitely seem to share the excitement of the brides and families they work with. I went in as part of a fairly large group to help my sister-in-law pick her wedding dress, and they had no end of patience and kindness, even when we had silly questions or needed to come back later to try on the same dress a third time. They showed no signs of pressuring my sister-in-law whatsoever, but acted as friends of hers who just happened to know how this process works. Janiece, who works on weekends, helped us the first time we went. She was very helpful and kind, and had no end of energy for helping us out. The pricing is competitive, and the people working there feel like friends within minutes. If you're looking for a laid-back place to say yes to your dress, definitely make an appointment here!

I had been before for a friends wedding and knew their service was top notch and had no doubt that this is where I wanted to go as well. I bought my wedding dress at Formally Yours a few years ago and had a great experience, so we went back last weekend to try to find my sister a prom dress. The service was excellent! All the girls are so nice and helpful, from pulling dresses, to getting a room, to hanging dresses back up. I cannot say enough good things about Formally Yours. I do not understand the negative reviews, because I have dealt with them on two totally distinct instances, and the selection and service were amazing both times. Whenever we have another special event, we will make the trip to Formally Yours again! Thanks for the excellent care!
The people who worked there are very knowledgeable, listen to what you have in mind for the type of dress you're looking for, and genuinely very kind people. The first dress I tried on was the one, and all the other ones we almost as perfect too. Great prices compared to other places you would visit and an AMAZING selection. I went four years ago and the owner and her daughter where the ones to help me! They were extremely sweet and when I told them my budget and not go over that at all, they listened! They knew what I wanted when I told them and I found my dress the same day!!! I highly recommend this shop!
Formally Yours was the 3rd or 4th place I went when searching for my Wedding dress. I was surprised by their huge selection and variety of dresses. Cathy was the first one to greet us at the door, and after a brief conversation on my preferences, she said "I have the perfect dress for you." Well, after looking around, and trying on all the dresses that I had picked out - I had one dress left, the one Cathy had picked out. And sure enough, I put on this dress and knew this was THE Dress! I was amazed that she was able to take one look at me, ask a few questions, and pick out the perfect wedding dress!
With that being said, I would recommend that you take a look around Formally Yours! However, from my experience, I would suggest that you ONLY deal with Cathy! You'll be wasting your time with the other girls. They will tell you what they THINK you want to hear, the customer service is poor, and they have NO idea how to run a business.
Lastly, I would STRONGLY recommend that you STAY AWAY from the alterations at Formally Yours. I would have rated this place at least 4 stars based on my interactions with Cathy, however, my alterations experience, does not even earn 1 star! If you need anything more than a hem, their alterations lady will completely ruin your dress! DO NOT LET HER TOUCH YOUR DRESS!! I purchased my dress in plenty of time for alterations, and after going back 4 times for fittings, I was completely disappointed and in tears because it look absolutely terrible! It was no longer the dress that I had fallen in love with!! I had to take the dress after the last fitting because I had scheduled bridal portraits scheduled. My bridal portraits were a complete waste, because you could tell that the dress was too big, didn't fit right, my boobs looked lumpy (from where she did come tacky alterations to make the cups smaller). Terrible! It was a nightmare!
So, 2 weeks before my wedding, thanks to Cathy (Charlotte and none of the other ladies helped the situation) - she offered to let me take the floor sample of my dress (1 size smaller) to my NEW alterations lady (Dora Baker). Dora was absolutely appalled by the alterations from the lady at Formally Yours, which were done to my original dress. So, Dora started on alterations on the NEW dress, which she was able to fix perfectly! However, it was nerve racking because it wasn't ready until the morning before my wedding! And, as if you don't spend enough MONEY already when you're paying for a Wedding - I had to pay for alterations TWICE, because I will have you know there was no offer made for a refund on the first round of horrible alterations!
I made an appointment here to try on wedding dresses for the first time and the girls here were amazing! They listened well to what I wanted, picked out the perfect dresses, and never pressured me to buy or wrap up the appointment. They also kept my top 3 dresses on file if I came back to compare. I couldn't have asked for a better first, wedding dress shopping experience!
I can t say enough good things about Formally Yours, and Clemmie Jordan. I am a plus size bride, and was very nervous about finding a dress that I could be happy with. Clemmie was very reassuring from the moment that I walked in with my mother and future mother-in-law. She asked for my budget, and if I had any thoughts about style. Based on my answers, she found a variety of dresses in various styles, and was incredibly helpful in helping me in and out of them. Within an hour, we hit on exactly the right dress, and she immediately found a veil and earrings that completed the look perfectly. The other women working in the store were kind and helpful as well. The staff here kept me calm (not an easy task, trust me), and made the seemingly overwhelming process of finding a wedding dress easy and fun. They also engaged with my guests, keeping the process fun for them as well. Highly recommended.
I had the best experience at Formally Yours GA!! I had an idea of what I wanted in my wedding dress and before I arrived several dresses were pulled in my size with the style I was thinking....I tried them on and they were GORGEOUS! It was at that time the owner Cathy said, you will only do this once so why don't you try on a few more just for fun, she had pulled a few that she thought would look nice and were a little out of the box from what I was thinking...I cant thank her enough for doing that because the dress that she pulled was the one! I had never considered the cut and look but it was perfection. Formally Yours staff was helpful and gracious and we simply had the best time! All of my Bridesmaids dresses, flower girl dress, and mother of the bride dress were bought here as well. Nothing better than one stop shopping. Scarlett from FY was beyond helpful with helping size my bridesmaids and keeping me up to date of the status of my orders. There is so much to do when planning a wedding and Formally Yours made my experience dress shopping fun, easy, and affordable!! Thank you FY for making my experience unforgettable!

Formally Yours was the best wedding dress shopping experience I have had! The team was amazing, they were there for me and it felt like I was the only one in the shop. They have an amazing selection of dresses. I said yes to the dress at Formally Yours so it will always be in my heart!
I went there today and it was nice, staff was helpful. Only went to see formal event dresses for a formal event I have in October. I haven't even started planning my wedding much less thought of the dress so I walked towards the bridal section to see the options. They have many nice dresses but only allow you to browse with an appointment, that's slightly disappointing since I'd be wasting the constultants time for my browsing when she can help someone else who is ready to buy. But I guess its understandable since they know what they have and can help a bride who knows what she wants. All in all it's a nice place. Prices are fair from the formal dress side, did not see the pricing for the bridal gowns.
I hate to write this review because Formally Yours use to be a great shop to work with but I guess all good things come to an end. Since Cathy has taken over the shop it has gone down hill. My niece ordered her gown and all her bridesmaids did also. Well not only were they all told to order the wrong size we were told the Jr. bridesmaid dress would be age appropriate when it came in. I believe they are making more money charging for all the alterations than they do for the dresses themselves. ALL the girls had to have their dress basically remade. The "Jr Bridesmaids" dress was just a smaller version of the adult dress with cups and all. I don't know about the 9 yrs olds in other families but ours did not need cups. We paid almost the same amount to alter the dress as the dress cost to begin with. Then it was altered wrong as was 2 other bridesmaid dresses. They were hemmed too short and wee so tight they could hardly breathe. I finally took them home and did my best to lower the hems. When I tried to Cathy she would just walk away to the back and refuse to come out. Not once did she offer compensation for their mistake she would not even speak to me. So one day after the wedding I "camped" out at her shop until she takes to me and still refused to refund an money. She acts like a spoiled brat and like she is doing you a favor by selling you dresses and charging you to alter the wrong sizes she orders. Don't even get me started on the alteration lady who looks down on you and tries to blame you when she takes the dress in too tight and/or hems it too short. Do yourself a favor and if you want a nice experience buying dresses for your wedding stay as far away form this shoppe as you can.

Tammy took it upon herself to listen to me and find the perfect dress! she let me try on as many as I wanted and was very professional with getting rid of the ones I crossed out so that I could better narrow down what I liked! The dress selection was in my price range and had the designers I was looking for. I went to three places before Formally Yours, and this bridal shop was the best by far. Highly recommend!!

The staff at Formally Yours is so knowledgeable, the selection is amazing, and the prices are better than at other bridal shops. I wish I had known about this place years ago when looking for special occasion dresses.
Chloe is so professional, patient, and helpful!!! I think I tried on every bridesmaid dress in the shop and they have a HUGE selection. I finally ended up finding the right dress and it was all thanks to her direct but gentle feedback on the different styles and how they fit. The rest of the staff I interacted with was equally awesome. I absolutely recommend this shop!
I just went here yesterday to find a wedding dress and had a truly awful experience. My consultant was terrible and completely unhelpful. Every dress she picked seemed very cheap and ugly. Not a single dress I put on was one that I even smiled in. I was not allowed to go look at their room of dresses to try and steer the direction and the girl helping me was not picking out the right dresses (even after telling her exactly what we liked). I also did not enjoy having to try and walk past other brides trying on dresses and having little space to do so. The girls nearby had beautiful "WOW" inspiring dresses and we didn't get a single one. Our consultant gave me no positive feedback and I felt very ugly and ordinary in this salon whereas in the other places I tried on at, I felt beautiful and unique. I wish I remembered my consultants name to tell you to avoid her at all costs. We wish that someone had noticed that we were not having a good experience and helped us out. I really do not recommend coming here.
The customer service was absolutely amazing! The girls and owner were all personable and very helpful with everything! They were genuinely curious about my wants and needs for my wedding, and were able to apply that with ease! We were not pressured into buying right then and there, which was so nice! I am so excited to use them for my dress as well as my bridesmaid dresses!
Formally Yours has been one of the best wedding related experiences I ve had since getting engaged a year ago. My consultant was Sydney and she was phenomenal! I went in not having a clue what type of wedding dress I was looking for, but Sydney was able to nail it with the first dress pulled. I tried on several dresses after that and she never rushed me to make a decision. Eventually I went back to the first dress and decided it was the one . Sydney told me the price and explained their payment options but again never rushed me into buying the dress. I absolutely love my dress and can t wait to wear it on my wedding day! A special thank you to the owner, Cathy, who told me that was my dress from the beginning. I ll definitely be back to purchase bridesmaids gowns.
Buyers be ware!! Not only did I spend an outrageous amount, but the items were of poor quality. Hint...outrageous amount. I don't mind paying for quality. First off, I'll give them credit for being nice as long as your plan is to purchase. This dress itself was beautiful. Beyond that this is what you really get in the end...never told the shoes were spray painted. Did not ask for painted/stained shoes. Shoes turned purple in the rain. Yep brown dress, purple shoes. Stained feet. Ear rings came apart when I took them off after just 4 hours of wear. I mean literally fell apart. Nothing of the merchandise was mishandled by me. And I quote "we don't know what you did with it after it left the store". If you pay that much do you really think I was going to mishandle it?? Really???? Yes, the sign says "no returns" and I have it on my sales ticket. Store in Lilburn closing or has already closed. Good thing. People there won't be stuck, but any other store customers be ware. Also the bridesmaids were told to get 1 and 2 sizes up and this was very bad because there is the underlying more for the seamstress money. Also not ordered the size agreed upon by the customer. The seamstress Bella late for fitting and could not get the hem correct even up to the third fitting. Further she gives out the wrong address to her place. It's actually in Norcross at the Flying Biscuits shopping center. I drove over 2 hours to her place 2 times only to have to wait on it the second time, 2 days before the wedding and her comment was that it was the material that was the problem not her. Also after she told me it would be pressed and ready. She gave excuses for not pressing it when she finally called herself finished. Would I use this franchise again, NO. Would I recommend them NO. Seamstress, NO. I would say be prepared to ask questions about the merchandise you are buying. Every day I am more amazed at the number of people who love to "stick people". My rating should really be a ZERO, but that is not an option here. People be ware.
So I came here on a Sunday afternoon without an appointment expecting not to be helped because I know everyone is booked and super busy in Sunday s and it s strictly by appointment only but Kara was so sweet and accommodating. She was helpful and listened to all the crazy dress ideas that I threw at her. She was so knowledgeable and patient. You can tell that she LOVES what she does and has a passion for it. They really care here! I went to a few other bridal boutiques and none of them give you the kind of top notch service like Formally Yours. All the ladies here are soooo nice. Thank you Formally Yours family! You guys made my wedding dress shopping experience easy and painless. I recommend this boutique 1000 times!! They won t disappoint!!
I bought my wedding dress from "F-You" (like my nickname?) because they offered me a store credit of 20% of the cost of the dress. Huge mistake.

The girls that work there could care less about you or your wedding dress. They are all 12 years old and I'm positive that the owner, Cathy, recruited them from her daughter's cheerleading squad. And Cathy: she's a treat made of sunshine and rainbows............
Three of my 7 bridesmaids that bought their dresses here were told the wrong size. Two girls that normally wear size 6s were told to order 14s. The tops of the dresses were on their ribs when they tried them on, and they had to take them elsewhere to get them re-made. The third bridesmaid couldn't get the last 3 inches zipped up, because they had altered it too small. She took it to another tailor and they had to do microscopic dress surgery to find extra fabric so that it would fit.
As if that wasn't bad enough, they messed up my wedding gown. I won't be tacky and tell you how much I spent on the dress, but I will tell you that when I told them my budget, the girl said, "Oh we only have a couple of dresses that are at that high of a price, so don't worry!" It's probably not a good business tactic to mess up your priciest dresses.
When I came for the final fitting, we were so consumed with getting the bustle right, that we didn't realize it was almost 2 inches too long. I tried it on again the next week because I just felt like something looked strange in the final fitting photos. Well, I was right. The trumpet-style gown was stacking up on the bottom, so it wasn't doing the fluid flare that it was supposed to do. As soon as they opened the following day, I was on the phone with Cathy. She told me to bring it in after work. This was the Friday before my wedding. I left work early, but got stuck in traffic and I wasn't going to make it by closing time. So I called Cathy, and she said, "Just bring it on Monday. Our alterations person is out for the weekend." I was dumbfounded that the OWNER of this shop wasn't willing to stay open late to right a mistake that they made.
So I went on Monday and Cathy was there in her gym clothes. She says, very condescendingly, "Look! I'm here, JUST. FOR. YOU." As if I was putting her out. After I tried on the dress, they failed to see the mistake and didn't even apologize. I asked, "How can you not see that it's too long? The lace on the bottom of the dress is LYING ON THE FLOOR." She responded as a kindergarten teacher speaks to a 5 year old with the wrong answer: " Honey, if you say it's too long, then it is, and we are going to fix it." No apology, and no, "yes, you are absolutely right, we messed up."
I picked up my dress two days before my wedding. I could not be happier to be done with those people. Go somewhere else. But if you do make the mistake of ordering your dress from here, be sure to ask them to "jack you up." They just LOVE that phrase.
My step daughter, my sister, my sister in law all have gotten there dresses here. The ladies are very sweet and very knowledgeable about all their dresses!
What an amazing experience we had! The moment we walked in we knew it was going to be a day to remember. No pressure, just caring assistants that had a great instinct for what my future daughter-in-law was looking for. Gorgeous gowns and fresh, exciting styles. They made her feel so special; like she was the only one they were catering to. The giggling, excitement, champagne and finding the perfect gown was a moment we will never forget. Thank you, ladies! We will be back for the Mother-of the groom dress as well as the bridesmaids gowns!
My wedding is in 2022, but I am starting to look for dresses now so that I can find the right one and not feel rushed. I made an online appointment for Formally Yours 3 days prior to my appointment day for Thursday at 3pm. I recieved a confirmation email and a conformation text the night before, but recieved a phone call at 10 the morning of my appointment informing me that they were canceling my appointment to allow for brides with sooner weddings to come in instead. Needless to say, this unprofessional and semi-discriminatory action has forever lost my business. I have been to other bridal shops who made me feel welcome and were understanding of not waiting until the last minute to look, so they will be recieving my payments and alteration fees instead.
Editing to add that I was never told it was due to the virus, only that it was to accommodate sooner brides. Of course, I declined the offer to reschedule as the owner mentioned in her reply because this is a huge inconvenience the day of my appointment instead of the previous days leading up to the appointment. I stand by my review due to how the situation was handled.
We ordered the bridesmaid dresses for my wedding from Formally Yours and the dresses were beautiful! We had ladies of different heights and ages and the ladies at the store worked with us to find a dress that looked stunning on all the ladies and matched the style of wedding we were planning.
The prices were great and we ordered the dresses, they all came in with plenty of time for alterations. The dresses were perfect for my winter wedding and showed up beautifully in the pictures.
My daughter, her friends and I had a wonderful experience at Formally Yours this morning. Tammy, our consultant, and Cathy, the owner, listened to my daughter. They pulled a variety of dresses that were all within budget. Although we didn t really plan on purchasing a dress today since this was my daughter s first time trying on dresses, we found the perfect dress! Thank you Tammy and Cathy for working with us. I visited formally yours on Sat. Feb. 10th and was immediately pressured to buy that day, even though I came in with intentions to only look. My stylist told me that if I bought that day only I would receive 10% off. I asked if I could sleep on it overnight and she said no. They had a lot of confusion about their merchandise too. I came in looking for white dresses only and my stylist told me the Martina Liana dress I liked came in white, so I decided to take the plunge and make the purchase. When we got to the counter, we discovered the dress actually did not come in white, it only came in ivory. I ended up leaving empty handed. After I left the store, I decided I would buy it mainly because I wanted the 10% off. I called back to buy but they were closed. The next day I called in to buy the dress and even though they swore to me I would not get the discount the next day, they still honored the discount. Lesson learned, you can come any day of the week and they will offer the discount, do not be fooled. After sleeping on it for one more night, I immediately had buyer s remorse and called in on Mon. Feb 12th to cancel the order. I spoke with the owner, Cathy, who told me they had not charged my credit card yet and she would hate for me to lose out on the 10% discount. She told me the following Monday they would be having a trunk show and I could come in and try on some others and she would still honor the discount. I came back with my mother and we did not see anything we liked. You could tell Cathy s demeanor was nowhere near as polite as the week before when she thought we would buy. I ended up buying my dream dress at Winne Couture later that day. Fast forward to 4 months later and I receive a call from Formally Yours telling me my dress has arrived. I told them, what dress, I cancelled my ordered?! Cathy forgot to cancel my dress order. She will not refund me and I cannot dispute it with my credit card because it s been over two months. I do not even have a receipt to show for this dress. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. There are plenty of dress shops in Atlanta that carry the same designers and that do not give you the insane pressure to buy. Bride Beautiful and La Raines to name a few. This store does not value the customer and is all about the sales. Now I have two wedding dresses and am out $2k!
I really enjoyed my experience at this location. Cathy was wonderful and really listened to my wants and needs. I ended up with a dress within 40 minutes and I couldnt be happier. Thank you guys so much. I will definitely recommend to all my friends and family.

I had the worst customer service.experience with Formally Yours Lilburn. I was very irritated that they would not return a dress but that is not why I am writing about it here. The staff and owner/manager of this store are arrogant and rude and they don't care who knows it. They refused to work with me at all when returning a dress and would not exchange it.This dress was not even worn. When I pushed back, they arrogantly said they have been in business 30 years and did not care. This is a warning to anyone shopping here. Make sure your dress is perfect before you buy it. If not, don't expect any compassion from this rude staff.
I bought my wedding dress here and the only reason I purchased it here was because the dress was beautiful and reasonably priced. The customer service in this store is not great. The owner looks annoyed at anyone that walks in to the store or ask any questions. I had to call 6 times (once a week) to get a real answer of when my dress would be arriving. Thankfully, I received my dress on time and it looks great but I would not recommend this store to anyone.
I was so disappointed with my visit here last Saturday. Marissa was my consultant, and I could tell early on she got frustrated with me. I don t get easily excited, which I think she mistook for disinterest. I know I m a picky bride, but that s why I typed up a list of things I liked and didn t like (including pictures). Marissa barely looked over this list and started pulling things for me. She initially pulled about ten dresses and only two of them were even remotely what I said I d liked. Everything she pulled was also at the top end of my budget. I just felt like my consultant gave up on me early and then I felt guilty for making her mad. Which ultimately made the experience poor. I hope you have been luck than I did here.
We had the most beautiful amazing experience at Formerly Yours, when we were buying my daughter's wedding dress. Scarlett took amazing care of us. We told her what we were looking for, and she picked out beautiful dresses to try on. My daughter got exactly what she wanted at the right price and the whole experience was so very special. We highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for that perfect dress!

As a natural planner, I LOVE being able to plan my wedding within a year and a half. I am originally from GA but recently moved to New Orleans, LA away from friends and family I had a hard and very terrible experience shopping here in NOLA. I have the greatest opportunity to visit home back in March 2017, this is where I ORIGINALLY found THE DRESS! The staff was so kind and caring like they were part of the family, something I don't usually experience in boutiques. I went back to New Orleans in attempts to find a boutique with THE DRESS, while I did find my same dress here in NOLA and it would be more convenient for fittings and such I ultimately decided to visit Formally Yours once again in early June 2017 and make the PURCHASE, thanks to my FMIL. The customer service is by far the best in both Louisianna and Georgia. Honestly, I feel so confident in the staff here that I also plan on getting my bridesmaid dresses here. Thank you to Formally Yours, you made my mother and mother in law fall in love with my dress and made this an experience I will always remember and cherish!
This place is amazing!!! The first dress I tried on I fell in love with!! The staff is amazing and wonderful!! They work with you with pricing and are amazing and have amazing attitudes!! I highly recommend this place!! I went in having a disappointing experience with a different bridal shop and instant loved the place! I had an amazing stylist and they are quick to get you taken care of!! Please give this place a try! They are also very affordable!
If you're looking for a personalized bridal experience from staff who will treat you as an individual, and actually listen to what you want (or just as importantly, don't want) in a wedding dress, look no further. After several frustrating trips to large "bridal warehouse" stores, finding this gem in my own neighborhood was like winning the lottery. I can't say enough good things about these ladies, and they have a nice selection of lovely designer dresses at a wide range of price options.
