Damn good beer! There's so many nowadays, but your IPA is the bees knees... Hoppyum leaves them all behind. I'll take 2, 3 4 of that nectar Yo!

On April 4th around 2:30 PM we walked into the pub and by 2:35 we were ready to leave, the female bartender was horrid and disgustingly rude
She was not knowledgeable about any cocktails and became even more so rude when I corrected her on a drink ..I've been bartending for years so excuse me when I'm a little upset when my French 75 comes out as brandy and champagne ...this chick sucked
Will not be back

The Carolina blonde and 1/2 lb cheeseburger was excellent!

If you need a space to hold an event, Foothills brewpub went above and beyond high quality service! They were accommodating, efficient, and friendly! We had about 35 guests for a rehearsal dinner, and then about 20 more friends come after. The staff there was quick to order any food or drinks. Everyone had a great time. Thanks Foothills!

For the small town of Winston-Salem these guys sure do serve up some killer brews. Moving to NC from MI I thought I'd left the likes of Founders, Bells, Dragon Mead, etc... behind but Foothills reminds me of the great small breweries I left behind. Top Notch place!!!

We happen to be in the area on business. This was the first time we have eaten at a restaurant since covid started. We were reluctant but willing to check it out. They had outside seating but it was to close to the road for us. So we ate inside the nice thing was they spread the seating pretty far apart so you felt safe. The meal was good for typical bar food. Every one there seamed to be conscious of covid protocol.

I don't go out drinking often but this place was nice. Friendly server!

Pretty good beers and had a wider selection than most other smaller breweries. Food was great also. Had a band playing and a full crowd.

Fabulous service, nice ambiance & great food. Pretty decent jazz band too! Perfect after a day of play in the surrounding hills, boulder fields, cliffs & trails.

I've been going here since before they were open. They constantly work on improving their food, beer, and service. All are great. Great place for groups or to bring your family or go by yourself to eat or drink or both. They have multiple TVs in the bar area. Private event rooms. Always check the daily specials as Chef Shane always has something good and different on the list with new Shanewhich, tacos, and entree daily. Many times great items you wouldn't have considered

I have eaten here 4 times and this will be the last time they take my money. Sides come with your entree but they charge $2.00 extra for certain sides like chips and sweet potato fries,dont like it but i can deal with it. What really got me was the smoked platter for $20.00 that states it is great for sharing is not. There was 4 chicken drumettes , 2 meatballs, 2 pieces of sausage,slaw and 1 serving of baked( kraft mac and cheese ) that was awful, worth $10.00 at best.Flavorless patty melt,bread to meat ratio is off.Good fried mushrooms but this place sucks maybe just stick to beer and wings if you just have to eat here

The food is OK. The wait staff is friendly. They play trivia on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I called out some people for cheating and was told no they don't cheat. I told them I saw them using there phone to get the answers to the questions and again was told I was wrong they don't cheat. The cheating team ended up winning free drinks. The people they bring in to host the trivia are rude and a joke. I may never go here again due to how I was made to feel.

love to just chill out, being an orygun microbrew snob, this takes brewpub takes good care of me in NC... the staff is great...

Good beers, typical bar food which is good, good service. Too loud when they have a band and you're trying to enjoy your meal though.

Restaurant nickels and dimes you for extra dressing and add on items. Hamburger not cooked to order. Huge beer selection and friendly staff.

Foothills offers wonderful craft beer, and above average bar food. What is lacking is quality service. Service is nice but it takes a while to get served.
However still a good place for a local brew.

Service and Beer were excellent, the food was forgettable.

We left this place mid appetizers and drinks. Was recommended by some friends who visited during lunch and since I dont work nearby I thought I would grab/drop in with family one evening and was completely taken back by service. It was as if we didn't sit at the table. The server barely acknowledged us and she seemed to never return with our drinks and appetizers took 45 mintues and she seemed to not even care. There was not a manager/Lead around that came to tables until way after we got our appetizers (mind we had been there for over an hour while all other tables were being served fairly quick). I was sooooo disappointed in service that I went back to my friends and was like WTH is wrong with yall recommending a place with such bad service only to find out that it was a hot or miss and lunch seems to have better service. We eneded up at mellow mushroom down the street bc I was sooo hungry and frustrated with the super slow service. I unfortunately judge the first time and cant say if ill be back again. Its a shame, moved to winston and still drive to Greensboro or Charlotte for a good brewery with good service!

Loved my servers both times I've been so far. Food has been good. Burger was a little over-done. Would definitely return. Plus they have trivia night...

I have come here twice now, both after a climbing adventure in pilot mountain. The service is always very friendly and the food is outstanding. It has quickly become a hotspot destination for us after climbing. They don't at all mind it when we show up dirty and sweaty right off the mountain. Eat here, get a burger, wnjoy the night.

The dry-rub wings and mac & cheese were Y-U-M! Hubs liked his cuban sammy too. Beer good. Service excellent (Grayson) We'll go back.

The food was all amazing- and surprisingly light for pub food!- and I ve never had better service. If you re in the area, this place is a must!

Good food and obviously a great beer selection as well. If your a fan of IPA's, this brewery is a must.

A live jazz band was playing, the portions we're ok, and the beer was great.

I love Foothills and this place is staple for a regular spot to grab a beer and a bite or just a first pit stop on your nightly romp through downtown. The location is great the place is huge inside with tons or bar and dining room seating plus a great sitting area on the sidewalk outside for pretty days and nights. Try the beer sampler which gives you a great idea of the beers offered for a low price that gets you tipsy. I love the IPA and Double IPA which taste good with everything...even sawdust. Try their nachos, homemade pickle chips or mushroom poppers for nice appetizer or move on to a sandwich or burger that satisfies for bar food.

Good food. I love the atmosphere. Workers were friendly and gave suggestions on what to order.

four different IPAs for any drinking mood - all super tasty. Jade is supremely well-balanced - great hops, without the bitterness - highly recommended.

Food was good but not worth waiting 2 hours for it. They need friendlier staff that seem to care. Not all was bad. Will be a while before we return.

Good service, tasty food and delicious beer!! Wife and I split the fish & chips and I had a Hop Job.

Beer..good. Food and appetizers...good. Service, good and fast! However, servers should be taught not to bring food order 2 minutes after bringing the appetizer. Made us feel rushed and unable to even begin to enjoy the pricey appetizer before the meal arrived. Ended up having to let the appetizer sit and get cold to enjoy the hot entree. Staff also needs to be educated on how to handle guests with loud, unruly children wandering about and shouting and carrying on. THAT totally soured our first dining experience at Foothills Brew Pub.

My absolute favorite restaurant in the Winston-Salem Greensboro area! Great food, great atmosphere, AMAZING staff. Never been disappointed! The staff remembers my drink preference every visit and my usual orders also! If you havent been, GO NOW!!!

The food was wonderful. Every bite was delicious. They have very good quality dishes. We loved the music and the server was attentive and pleasant. We had a great ti.e.

We ordered the chips and dip. They were very good. Only gave a small bit of dip so you may need to order extra. The chips were light and crispy. I loved the beer I got (description in the picture attached). The menu was huge and inclusive. Maybe too many options?

Fried pickles sent me to another dimension where the sky was happiness and the ground was smiles. And speaking of smiles, that 1000 smiles golden ale was the boooooooooooomb. Jennifer is the best employee in this joint.

The beer at Foothills Brewpub deserves 5 stars in my opinion. However, the food and the atmosphere is only worthy of 4 stars. Our food was served cold and was very salty, but the menu is very vast so there is definitely something for everyone. The restaurant is very loud, one of the loudest I've ever been to so please keep that in mind.

They have an innovative beer selection some great and others not so. Plan on eating somewhere else, the quality of the ingredients are ok it's what they do with them. The service is very and I mean very hit and miss.
