I was told I was approved for a certain percent and then it was way different once they got me in the office and put the paperwork in front of me. They didn t think I would notice and when I did they started slipping on there words.
This place needs to be investigated. The BBB will be getting a call. I ve heard about this happening at multiple fletcher stores and I ve now experienced it first hand.
Please, please safe yourself the trouble and shop for that new or used car at any lot other than one owned by Frank Fletcher.
They laugh at how much they ve screwed people once they have left. They have no morals and care for no one other than there selves. Just look at there markup compared to other lots.
There trade in value is the biggest joke of all.

I bought 2 cars from Fletcher Ford in April. Both brand new with less than 100 miles on them. My focus started having problems at about 3000 miles. I took it in. The window motor was "fixed". Shortly after that the sunroof started acting up. Not wanting to close and a messy black substance was on the glass. "couldn't find a problem". A month or two later, I started having problems shifting into reverse when it is cold out in the morning. Still having black gunk on sunroof and window is still dropping when being rolled down. I take it in and they finally figure out that it is the heat shield that is leaving the black gunk on the sunroof. This requires removing the headliner and everything holding it up. After having my car up there 3 times for this problem and having to have someone follow me to Joplin, pick me up and take me back, I demanded they give me a loaner car. 2.5 weeks they had my car. Finally got the heat shield replaced, and was able to verify that It was very hard to go into reverse. They adjust a shift cable and checked everything else to do with the transmission. Window... Nothing wrong with it. I drive away in my car and make it about a block away and parts start falling out. I take it back. Trying to stay calm I explain to the service technician that it was either not put together right or something was broken. I leave it and take the loaner again. The rest of the week goes by and they call me on a Friday saying it is done and ready to go. I pick it up on Saturday only to see that when they put it back together again they lost a part to my hatch, and creased and bent my plastic interior pieces. It has been about a month now since this happened. They said they would order the pieces and have them put in for me. They still haven't called as of Friday, So Saturday I called to speak with the service tech taking care of my car. They say he is busy, I leave a message, They say he will return the call before closing... It is now Tuesday... NO CALL! Big surprise! In the meantime I have received 2 surveys about how my experience was... They were very negative and I asked them to treat my car as if it were their own and take care of it like they were paying the payment on it. I went into Fletcher today. Waited approximately 20mins to talk to the service tech responsible for my car now, and he isn't even there. Fine. No big deal. Another service rep takes a message to look into the panels for the car and schedules my appointment for the Escape that is now having problems with the power lift gate. I leave and maybe 20 mins goes by and I receive a phone call from A service manager. YAY! umm not. I'm asked Why I would bring my vehicle to a service center when I left such negative reviews... Because I was told that I couldn't take it anywhere else or I would be paying for repairs... That's why. I am then told that I have made many complaints to the technician about the service.. Problem is I have only had contact with 2 service techs. I haven't complained other than to say I wanted my car restored to the way it looked when they received it. This service manger is rude. She said the General Manger is involved and believes that they can't make me happy. Why didn't the general Manger make that call. Why can't their service techs do their job and return calls, and take care of vehicles when putting them back together. If you break something you fix it. They broke parts on my car and they don't want to replace them. I will be taking my cars else where, I will be getting the window fixed, and I will be getting the panels replaced. I've never in my life felt more disrespected than I have with this Service Center. Out of 3 problems wrong with a brand new car, 1 has been fixed and now I have a new problem because it was fixed. Still 3 problems... Still Crappy Service. Don't go here unless you a simple oil change.

The guy I spoke with was friendly and they got my car repaired quickly, but they told me they would call me when my new seat belt came in and that I could just stop by and have it fixed anytime. Bc it wouldn't take long to replace it. After I didn't get a call for a week I called to see if it was there. They said it had been there for days and I had to make an appointment to have it done. Had they told me that originally I would have made an appointment for the day it was supposed to come in, instead of having to wait 3 more days to get an appointment.

Update: I feel what was written missed represented what I wanted to get across. What happened was equipment issues and not an issue with the Service Advisor. This person wS doing all they could to get things straight. But equipment problems talking with network server at times can really slow down the process when it is a high usage network time of day. All the Service Advisors and Techs that assist me here are great people. Just an equipment issue isn't how the company or employees conduct business. I stiil conduct my business here and will continue.

We purchased a vehicle from Fletcher Ford one week ago. I returned to pick up the car's title and paper work this evening at 6:30 pm. The business hours are listed as 8 am-7pm. There were 13 men standing around having a meeting and NOT ONE of them came to help me. One salesman working with another customer left the customer to ask if he could help. He could not help so now I have to make another trip to the dealer next week to get the paper work. The car we purchased also had a recall that we had to take care of on our own. The salesman who sold us the car one week ago already has a different job!!! I DO NOT recommend purchasing a vehicle from Fletcher Ford in Joplin!!!

Claimed the parts didn't get ordered, than had to re order parts and they were wrong and re ordered the correct parts. Second time it took them 3 days to even call me and let me know what was going on. I got fed up and took my vehicle to another Ford and didn't have a single issue! Will not do business with any Fletcher after my experience at this delarship.

I stood there for about 5 minutes, I then made eye contact with two salesmen that were walking towards me one was wearing a grey shirt assuming he was a manager.. both of them smiled said hi and kept walking. So I then stood there for a few more minutes in eye sight of a salesman at a desk but he didn t care to look up at all. Then, a completely different salesman walks out made eye contact with me several times then finally made an awkward head nod at me then walk past me to an older gentleman asking him, how things were going and then one of the guys on the phone became free so I told him what was wrong and he just told me they couldn t get me in until Monday so I didn t even bother. The lady internet sales manger told me she was sensitive to smoke and sat in that car and assured me that it was not a smokers car. When I went in to look at purchasing another vehicle I told them I wanted to look around and wasn t ready to purchase yet so not to run my credit. Was told there was a separate form I had to fill out for that. The first form was just for them to have some information to better serve me. I never signed any papers. Then they came back to me saying they ran my credit and wanted me to sign the paper for approval. I never signed and now am disputing with TransUnion. Don t give them any information even if you don t approve or sign a paper they will still run your credit.

I have FIVE vehicles I use Frank Fletcher Ford to service - and I ve always been satisfied when it s me that takes the vehicle in. However, when I send my wife or daughters with their vehicles - they always get jerked around. Today I had an appointment for 2:30 to have the oil changed and tires rotated (had a coupon for $39.95). My daughter told them she was waiting, she sat for almost two hours in the lobby - and the car was still not in the shop. Her sister went to pick her up. When it was finally done - and I went to pick it up - the cashier would not speak to me about the amount of time it took. Then she couldn t find my paper work, when she finally got it - she charged me $79.95 (double what I was expecting). She told me that because I had a Dodge Dart they couldn t honor the coupon. I asked her - so when I made the appointment and told her I had the coupon - and she said okay - why didn t she tell me you couldn t honor it on this car? She told me that the lady marking the appointment didn t know it was a Dodge Dart. So somehow - she made an appointment at 2:30 that they couldn t get to until 4:30 for a Dodge Dart that they didn t know was a Dodge Dart. Very frustrated. Will start shopping for another place to go! Shame on Frank Fletcher dealerships!

When bringing my 19 year old F350 for a minor repair, I thought I would check to find out what it was worth and asked to speak to a car buyer.
Though my truck was 19 years old, I was the original owner and it was in excellent condition with extremely low mileage.
Jerry Myers came over to speak to me, looked at my truck and took his boss out to see it.
They came back to me in about 10 minutes with a very fair price. I told Jerry that I was thinking on selling my truck then paying cash for a little smaller and newer vehicle.
I didn't think that they would have a vehicle to suit my needs, well I was wrong.
Jerry asked what I was looking for, went and searched inventory and came back with 3 possibles.
I told Jerry that I didn't want add any cash to the deal, yet he found a nice used mid sized SUV that I liked.
I asked to take the car home for spousal approval and the request was granted no problem.
When I came back I told Jerry that if they could do a couple things that we had a deal.
The car couldn't be made ready that day so Jerry got me a loaner car to take home that night.
The next day Jerry called my new (to me) car was ready.
Jerry Myers and Fletcher Ford worked hard, did well, and stood by their word, I would recommend them to anyone shopping for a vehicle.

I had to come back to the dealership 3 times to finally get everything done. I would not recommend buying a car here unless you have a lot of time on your hands. The only good thing about this dealership is the service department. They will treat you right. They are the reason for the 2nd star.

I have had my car in 4-5times for transmission problems no loaners available poor service after sale. This is becoming a serious problem,since the car is only 2 years old and I have had nothing but trouble with it since I owned! I ll tell you this I will never buy another ford or refer a friend or neighbor to this dealership unless things change!
