The largest hotel in the world with 7.351 rooms. Something crazy but is true.
This is budget hotel, so u must prepare before you stay here.
No toothbrush, no wifi, no AC (I dont think so they need AC here).
The weather so fresh and cool.
Prepare you foot for walk around here, big place.
The room is small, bathroom and toilet also small but clean.

No star for this hotel! Booked online long ago but when we checked in, we have to wait for more then 2 hrs and yet gotten only 2 rooms out of 5 that prebooked. Still need to wait for another 2 hrs....to check first whether the rooms are ready. Never want to come again

Despite being the world biggest hotel in 2015/6 the electronic (easy & quick) check-in system is unique (with selection of room's views) : obtaining key(s) in a jiffy. Check-out is in a wink. Rooms are clean, well equipped and maintained. Sad though, sometimes "funny" guests bring home hair dryer (thinking that the room price they pay includes this) : luckily TV sets are screwed to the wall. Hotel related services are appropriately priced and efficient. Good clean hotel.

Getting Highlands definitely a great place for family or friends gathering. Outdoor theme park still undermaintenance. Indoor thempark has starts operating. For traveller who want to go GPO for shopping can use cable car on fourth floor .

Go for the mountain view if they let you choose.

Not for business traveler because lack chair and tabl. But adequate power and charger plugs.
Furniture downgraded to plywood planks compared to last time.
Only one switch controls room lights.
Toilet really cramped. Careful you don't knock something or slip.

"First world" is in name and outwardly appearances only, Check in services, and rooms at this hotel are 3rd world. "Biggest hotel with the smallest rooms" .No A/C, Open window with ceiling fan is all you have. See photo with luggage to compare the room size. No wonder there are hardly any western tourists at this hotel, if you are accustomed to western standards you will be disappointed. Expect cheap motel services and amenities.

There are long lines to check in. Very slow moving check in line even after 5pm. Few available seats in theblobbu area which are all taken. Check in kiosk is confusing and didn't work for most people. Not enough signs to direct people. One positive is that there are activities (shopping, casino etc) nearby and there are free bag storage in lobbu while you wait for hours to check in . I would not come back!

Two stars because this looks like a good deal/ getaway for a middle class Malaysian family not for westerners

Despite having 7000+ rooms, the wait for check-in ...

Despite having 7000+ rooms, the wait for check-in was short as there were plenty of self check-in kiosks. However the kiosks were poorly designed physically and system wise. The tilt was poor causing difficulties viewing the display, and the functions were unintuitive and unresponsive.
The rooms offered were on the first floor. It lacked some privacy, had no view but gained convenience and saved waiting time for lifts.
The lobby was horribly crowded and poorly managed.
The room was reasonable in size, except for the toilets which were cramped and lacking in amenities. Do bring your own dental kit as they are not provided. Room slippers too, if you fancy them.
The rooms were clean enough.
Options for ventilations were either the windows or the ceiling fan. The fan was strong, but a little too strong for the weather.
The bed and pillows were a little too firm - this is subjective though.
Water bottles not provided for but hot and cold water dispenser was available by the corridor - impressive.

Thank you for a free stay room given.

Thank you for a free stay room given.
The room is clean but it s too small for a family and the lightings are not bright enough. Very deemed,
Will go again if it is given for a Superior Deluxe Room
