First World Hotel at Genting Resort World Reviews

Room is tidy and clean. Would be a great experience if able to provide wheel chair service for elderly. Wasted a lot of time as need to go different floor to loan a wheel chair. A bit disappointment also when I couldn't get help to get my mom down escalator

Every thing needs to pay!!! Car park no more free, every room need to pay rm10 /nite. Winning in casino at the SLOT MACHINE is set to maximum low! Stay in Singapore better! There r 2casino and no need to travel so far n time wasted!

Good and comfortable..But beware,some floor were haunted.My advise,don't be alone especially during night!!

Attached mall is upmarket and has very immersive customer Audio-Visual atrium.

We reach on 4am and wish to check in early but thr are no available room
and the staff at Registration counter is not friendly and no helpful at all

Hotel was ok it just the room are very small. Even the tv are small like 21inch tv..

Hotel is not very big but they have the most rooms. The room is kinda small. It s ok for family with up to 2 kids. Easy access to snow world and theme park.

It's small and the room is dirty. Floor is dirty and so are bedsheets. No toothbrush provide. No bedroom slippers. Overall ...Bad

Rm has not much amenities. No tissue,no small table n chairs,Pillowcases n bedsheets smelly,poor clothes hanging pt, Windows facing very dirty inbetween rms, n worse of all is the motor noise coming from outside the windows on n off the whole night.Rm 13970 T3. Yes, the elevators took a good 5secs to open.

No option to rate this ZERO star. This is the worst experience I've ever had! Firstly, the hotel was so DIRTY, looks like they haven't vacuumed or cleaned the room in years. No airconditioning, only the use of an old fan that circulates dust. The towels provided were WET which means they did not change them! You ask them for new towels and they will tell you to go to the front desk for help. USELESS STAFF ALL AROUND.

NO WIFI. We purchased wifi which is only available in the Lobby but it does not work anywhere in the lobby except where the information desk is. It cost us 15 ringet for 24 hours. NO USE when it doesn't work. There are seating areas provided to use the wifi but they are all placed on the ends of the lobby where you CANNOT access wifi. If I am paying to use WIFI, I expect the wifi to be fast and accessible. Instead, it keeps disconnecting you after every minute and even then it does not work. They will not refund you. THIS HOTEL IS A SCAM.

THE STAFF ARE RUDE. PERIOD. You ask them for help and they will kiss their teeth and roll their eyes at you. You will approach the counter and they will not greet you because they are too busy on their phones. THE ONLY WORDS THEY KNOW HOW TO SAY IS "Sorry, we cannot help you". WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. DONT COME TO GENTING HIGHLANDS.

THE ENTIRE RESORT IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION SO IT RUINS THE VIEW. THE CASINOS SUCK. THE FOOD SUCKS. IT'S OVERPRICED. NO QUALITY ENTERTAINMENT.
EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE CASINO WILL CLOSE AT 10PM/23:00. WASTE. OF. TIME.

Small room but its good enough just for a night stay

Best to spend time with family. Very bright, colorful and cheerful place.

first world room was not the one promised through the phone booking.it was very small,without any table and lacks basic facilities

Room was spacious for 2 pax in deluxe room with wifi. However no room view.

I love Genting for the cold, and this is the cheapest hotel at the peak. Five stars!

Had a room with no view and no natural light at all. Missed the natural cool air blowing in.

Room is very clean. Reception staff is friendly and helpful, would definitely visit this hotel again in future!

Avoid standard room at Tower 1. Although is non-smoking floor but many smokers still smoking in the room and corridor. The corridor windows are all locked. Hence the cigarette smell will sip into your room. If you are senstitive to cigarette smell, pls do not stay there.....

Good and convenient Hotel to stay with almost everything from food, shopping etc... just nearby. One very important thing is that there must be a clear signboard install to avoid any hassles to customer.

Room is decent. Good enough for resting. Genting Highlands is amazing.

Packed with people and quality suffered. Lobby area not exclusive like a public gathering place. Watch out for touts - all sorts! Room is small and carpet not too clean. Good thing the bed, bedsheets and pillows are clean. Comes with hair dryer. Noisy neighbours! Running along the corridors at 3 am, talking loudly and slamming of doors (rudely woken up by these). No sense of civic consciousness.

Super basic hotel. Cheap. Book only if you just need a place to sleep in.

Very big hotel. Tower 2 and 3 are pretty new. Book early to enjoy very good price.

Rooms are compact. Do not expect room service. No water is provided in room. Water dispensers are located each wing.
You need to register at kiosk if booked from agent like agoda and then self check in.

Close by to all Genting attractions.
Entrance is grand. Checkout is just to drop room key in box. Try to get in Tower 3. Good view and free WiFi.

Stay was good but check in was terrible . First World Hotel has 7351 rooms but only 3 Receptionists . Self check in kiosks always broke down , only 2 helpful assistants helping to check in .
We like to go Genting Highland but thinking of checking in we hesitated.

No free WiFi. It should be a necessity, not a luxury these days.

There are dust under the blanket , the cabinet top has coffee stain and i need to rub it. Rooms without view are too dim..

Hotel with more reasons and avenues to stay, have fun and leisure.

Nice weather & environment for family retreat.
The room hygiene need to be improved. Feel itchy while covering with the blanket. For those who have sensitive skin, be prepared.

This is worlds biggest hotel with more than 7000 rooms with block B1 to B3 and hotel is self check in/checkout and rooms are budget friendly

Rooms are simple but good enough for a few days. Early check-in is available but chargeable at MYR5. The hotel is huge but everything is streamlined for self-service so check-in and -out is a breeze.

Convenient with number of self check in and check out kiosk. If need help, can proceed to counter. A lot of shop here, suitable for young till elderly. A place for 10k steps too... can walk a lot here without sweating.
