Great place! Friendly staff, very respectful and they seem to really care about our furry family members (pets, not uncle Hank). The wait can be a bit much, but we were there on a Saturday morning

My family don't really like going there for our pets they have two "nurses" that are apparently new and have no clue what they are doing and they have a lady that sits up at the counter...not going to share her name just for safety reasons. But got really smart with my mom to the point she wanted to join in with the other guy to hit her but had to remind herself that she's a Christian and had to take a step back and reevaluate the situation. But other than that, the other ladies are sweet and nice. The other location seems to be a little bit better. A friend of ours just stop working there.

5 month old puppy with a broken leg. Still making me wait. I ve been here since 9am. It s 4:15pm and they still haven t seen us. This is pitiful in my book. I m not in vet services; however I m in medical and we would not ever let a patient with any broken bones wait this long to be treated. Horrible. Saying sorry just doesn t cut it.

Online it said they will take walk ins and I go in and they refuse to see my dog because I didn't make an appointment and told me they aren't taking walk ins right now but maybe later. Don't make me waste my gas if y'all are going to lie about taking walk-ins. Very rude lady up front.

My animals and I receive excellent care, respect, and kindness from the FCNMHP facility on Cassat. I take my two dogs and cat for their health and medicinal needs with confidence that they'll be cared for with the upmost efficiency. My puppy Pooh Bear has a nasty allergy and must take medication twice a day, so It's granted that I visit frequently. Not once have I had a particular unpleasant experience with the staff. Although the line to the front desk is often long it is bearable and not exhausting enough to be upsetting. Other then my puppy I also take Daisy, an old dog who has a habit of hunting rats. One day she met her match and got bitten, shamefully enough I didn't realize at first until she started chewing on it. Luckily I got her into the doctor on time and now shes as spry as ever. Lastly is my Cat who I take for check ups and what not. She's my baby and is skittish around unfamiliar areas as most animals are, the atmosphere is welcoming and the doctors and techs are lovely. No More Homeless Pets is 100% my preferred choice when it comes to taking care of my four legged loved ones and I truly recommend them to those searching for a comfortable and professional place for their pets.

I've always taken my 11 year old fir baby Zoey, to the Norwood location. Everyone there has always been great. I was told by the vet there that she had 2 rotten teeth in the back that needed extracted and it was causing her ear issues. Her surgery could only be done at the Cassat location. Due to me being disabled and on a fixed income I did a Go Fund Me to get the money for her surgery. Upon picking her up I was told the back teeth were fine, but they extracted 2 front upper and lower teeth. They never called me which I told them if there was any deviation from the original reason to call me. They did not. Now what is the reason for her ear issues!!!!!!?!!!

What can I say about this organization, they are the kindest and charitable foundation to animals. Over a month ago I found and injured stray, she was an old Chihuahua. I named her Chalupa. We tried to save her and thought of bringing her home with me. To no avail. They covered the whole bill. I was the Shelter Manager, Rescue and Cruelty Investigator for the Jacksonville Humane Society for 6 years. I appreciated the professional courtesy extended to me and allowed the time to say goodbye to her. So please donate your monies , food and time to them. Respectfully, Benjamin Aguilera.

I have taken my dog here once before and it was okay if you have three hours to sit and wait, if you can get through to make an appointment, or get lucky enough to get a return call from the messages you leave asking for an appointment. I took my dog there today for an appointment for his annual check-up and vaccines and after waiting in line for 14 minutes to check in, was sent back out to my car to sit and wait. I left after waiting 94 minutes - I would have left before, but the parking lot was so full cars were parking in the aisles and I was blocked in.
My appointment was at 2:45 - at 4:32 a very nice man called and politely asked if I was still there - he was the one bit of caring and professionalism I experienced at that place. There is no excuse for that disorganization and disregard for customers. Providing veterinary care at a reduced cost does not mean you are allowed to blatantly disregard your customer base. If I showed up an hour and a half late I would ve been told to reschedule, they show up late and...... nothing. I am quite certain that losing my business won t mean a thing to this clinic, but at least others can be warned.

After having bad experiences with my previous vet, I gave FCNMHP a try after the Cassat office opened and I absolutely love it. First off, better prices than the previous vet and they're quick to do their work. You can see they truly care for the animals. I've had nothing but great experiences and I intend on taking my animals there for many years to come. Affordable prices and a wonderful staff with really awesone attitudes.

I gave it 4 stars only because they didn't think my cat being ill or a week was urgent enough to qualify me for financial assistance. Other than that, they do try to assist as many people as possible. The place was packed.

My name is Steven, and I love these people. Not only have they cared for my pet at a discounted rate, there was a beautiful homeless pitbull that I brought in, not only did they help him for free, they saved his life and gave me all the medications and med supplies for free. Donations are welcome and always needed

Hello all. I recently had a very disturbing encounter with No More Homeless Pets Cassat Ave. I have a 3.8 lb chihauhau that need dental extraction surgery. She was seen for consultation and pre-op appts. I show up to drop her off for surgery and I am told that I must agree to my dog being spayed during her dental surgery. VERBATIM It is our mission and policy . I said no. If it s your mission, why didn t you mention it during the previous 2 visits?? They refused my pet care. This is completely unethical. I am out money for the first two appts and will now be paying again for consultation at a different vet. Their behavior was unprofessional and rude.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. RAVI

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. RAVI
I use to take my dog to banfield for vet visits. My dog got cancer and banfield couldn't figure out what it was and why he was sick. So I decided to go to no more homeless pets. Dr Ravi diagnosed him quickly and blood work confirmed.
Dr. Ravi is by far the most qualified and most carting vet I've ever encountered. He was very patient with me and answered all my questions. He made the passing of my dog as comfortable as possible for my k9 and myself.

I took my elderly miniature poodle to have dental work at the beginning of June. When I picked her up they regretted to inform me that they burned her with the warming blanket . They acted like it was not a big deal. She has a burn on her side about half the size of her body. No hair grows there and it is permanently scarred. It is the beginning of August and my once beautiful, loving, smart dog is a wreck. She will no longer let us hold her, she potties in the house (she NEVER did before-not once!) she cries all day and runs back and forth until she wears herself out and falls asleep. She will sleep for 2 hours at a time and start all over again. Whining, running back and forth, and wincing if someone goes near her. My poor dog, they destroyed her life and when we told them about it, they did NOTHING!

I cannot thank this place enough! They saved me over $1800.00 and got me a payment plan for a surgery that had it not happened, would have been a fatal illness to my pet. I am so grateful and would recommend them to anyone!

It is amazing what you all do there and you are all very professional and caring individuals. I promise, I will donate to your cause once I pay my bill in full. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

There aren t enough kind words to say about this staff! They are there because they truly care and want to make a difference! I went for my first time yesterday with my 8 yr old dog as an emergency walk in thinking my dog had bladder stones... I could t afford the surgery through my vet. They took wonderful care of my baby, but unfortunately she had a tumor and there was nothing that could be done for her. The vet and the techs were fantastic to her AND me in her last hours!!!! I can not believe how caring they were.... I can t thank them enough for everything they did! I highly recommend this clinic!

I've heard good things about this location, and perhaps that's why I was somewhat surprised by the way I was treated during my visit. I was there for my kitty and pup to get microchips - that was literally it, they're healthy and up to date on everything else - and it seemed like no one was on the same page.

Firstly, all of their promotional ads online DO NOT state that they add a clinic/exam fee PER PET, nor do the staff mention it when you call to book the appointment. I also offered multiple times for them to check my vet records and make copies, which they never even GLANCED at. Upon the vet tech's arrival, they actually mixed up my animals! The vet tech that came to collect them one at a time - and this was after I was very open about each of their personality quirks (Rascal, my pup, doesn't like being picked up and can be somewhat grumpy, and my kitty has FIV, so I wanted to be sure the table would be cleaned first to which the vet tech/vet's reply was "If you're that concerned, you're welcome to go somewhere else." Excuse me? I was expressing concerns to which all you had to say was "No problem, our place is kept sanitary and cleaned between each household's pets," not throw out the sass like I was the one in the wrong for being worried about my animal's wellbeing) - took back the dog and then returned, said the incorrect name, and I had to correct them. They basically put the wrong microchips in the wrong animals (thankfully they weren't pre-registered) when they HAVE the charts that tell them the SPECIES of the animal!! Absolutely ridiculous to make that simple of a mix up when all it would have taken was them looking at the damn papers. That, and when Rascal was returned, he was bleeding from the microchip area and they didn't mention it nor offer anything to clean him up with. I had to ask the lady at the counter, to which she didnt have anything either, and then go clean him up myself in the bathroom. I DO NOT approve of any vet that isn't willing to show you the microchip process or let you be there for your pet during something so simple. All of my other vets have done so.

The place was very nice - huge waiting room, mostly-polite counter staff, etc., but I just don't approve of their ignorance or lack of attention to detail. Plus, any vet that doesn't allow you to enter the room with the animal for something as simple as a microchip is sketchy in my opinion. All of my vets have ALWAYS allowed me in the room unless it was a surgery.

I do NOT see myself going back here.

I had very recently adopted a dog from the Humane Society who was having a breathing problem. I took her as a "walk-in". Never did get seen. Left after about 2 hours and 45 minutes. Long lines to sign in and sign out. Definitely better to try and make an appointment via their confusing website. Thankfully, her problem was very short. Fine now. If your pet has an urgent issue you may be safer to take it to another clinic.

If you like waiting an hour to just pick up a prescription, come here, lol. If you like having your appointment pushed back an hour, being told that you can come back later and just pick up what you need and having to wait another hour, this is the place for you.

Too many vets in this city to deal with the poor customer service. Go anywhere else but here

Such good and caring people there. My dog was hit by a car and turned in there, they talked me through getting him out and to a vet. I was struggling to know what to do and how to take care of him and I went back and spoke with Daniel who gave me good information and advice, and he also gave me a bunch of blankets and baby wipes for my dog. They're wonderful there and I appreciate everything they did for me and my dog.

First Coast No More Homeless Pets is an absolute s...

First Coast No More Homeless Pets is an absolute saving grace for so many animals! Our city needs places like this that are affordable and most importantly welcoming. They are always in the public helping to spread the word and sooooo soooo much more! Almost 9 years ago we rescued our dog (Dora) from a very dangerous and violent life. She was starved and physically abused so badly that she (the dog in the picture who now weighs 60lbs.) weighed 20 something lbs and had scars all over her. She was locked out on an apartment balcony, where she only had a small chair to sit in, due to the mountain of feces she was stuck in. The so-called owners would also let her loose in the apartment complex all day while they were at work. This is unfortunately probably the only time she was able to find something to eat, and she was always around the dumpster. Her presence made people and maintenance workers concerned for the community s safety and well-being and rightfully so. I prayed a lot about what I should do, because I knew that I had to do something about it. It s very unfortunate that her type of breed has such a bad rap but they do... After asking if I could help to feed, walk, or help in anyway but I was shut down, I knew that I had take action! I waited for them to let her out while they were at work and proceeded to make a trail of food from the bottom of the stairs to my front door. Dora was very afraid of people as you can imagine, so it is
needless to say that this was not an easy task. She finally got to the door 8 hours later, and from then on she was my dog. Funny thing was that this big tough guy who abused her didn t even say anything as I walked her blatantly in front of him. We nursed her back to health, and as you can see in the pictures she is a happy, spoiled rotten, and a very healthy girl! When we got her and needed to get her spayed, No More Homeless Pets were right there to help. They allowed us to use the Grant for Pit bulls, which was such as blessing, because it made it affordable for us when we needed it the most! I will forever be grateful to this place for all of the amazing work that they are doing in our community! Thank you All from the bottom of our hearts ! Keep up the awesome work and thank you again!

I took my 17 year old cat here for blood work. The first visit, I asked them to put in his record that he is not to be taken out of the room. When a tech asked me why, I explained he's got bad hips, and so I want to make that the holds that are being used aren't hurting him. We found out quickly that, while he's 17, he's got a lot of fight left in him. The techs tried everything short of sedation (which isn't an option for him, unfortunately). The vet recommended that we come back two days later and try again. I did. The tech I got this time was not personable, but whatever. She came into the room, and said that she was taking him into the back. I explained that I asked the he not be taken back, and then explained how difficult he was on the previous appt. She said okay. So, began the fight. She was actually quick to get him on his side and still. The problem came when the second tech took her time getting the butterfly needle out of the package. I mean, REALLY took her time. I knew as the seconds passed that our window for him being still was dwindling. She was moving so slow! By the time she finally got it out, my cat had regrouped, got the muzzle off his face and turned towards the tech that had been holding him to bite her. Thankfully, she moved quickly enough that he didn't get her. He was done, and there was no way we were going to get that chance again. I'm so upset that the chance was there, and because of lack of hustle, I won't be able to know what his kidney and thyroid functions are. I will never go back there. I can't afford to have that kind of mistake happen again when it would have been so easily avoided if they had laid out what they needed beforehand.

My doggy blew his ACL or CCL over the weekend, I thought I'd try here first because I knew of the expected expense was high. First impressions, huge! Clean great airy flow to the place, separate waiting room for cats. Greeted by friendly staff, called me over to side to be helped quickly. The rooms are new, clean, air freshener being pumped in to neutralize any animal smells.

Meeting Dr. Kampalli and his assistant could not of been a better experience. Took a lot of time with me asking questions and history. I had been doing research on doggy ACLs and had A LOT of questions. Never rushed me, talked about options, success rates, what to expect in future no matter decision I made. I found out though THEY DO NOT DO ACL SURGERY ON DOGS HERE. I may of not came in if I knew that first (long drive from the beaches) but ultimately I'm glad I did. Was able to get great advice from a non-bias source (no surgeon pushing surgery is only option). Sedated my dog to get X-rays to confirm what we both new, but only if I wanted it. Let me know additional costs up front and was my decision to make since he was already confirming yes, ACL. Handle my doggy with care, carried my monster around like a puppy, even carried him to the car after since he was groggy for a bit after X-ray (but had given us lots of time to recover in room).

For a place offering free and reduced medical care to dogs I felt like I was in th 'Mayo' of vet hospitals. Spent so much time with me, never rushed, great care, great staff..nothing I can say is bad. This place was awesome, wish there was one closer to the beach is all!

Conclusion with my dog. Going to treat him conservatively with medication and little movement for now. We have a long haul in front of us and challenges with such an active, large dog with a fully torn ACL. I'm not 100% this is going to work but with the quote of 3,200 for the TPLO surgery needed from another Vet.. My family can not budget that at this time, and ultimately surgery may not be the be the best choice. I'll check back in a year to complete review!
