They advertise low cost vet bills. That's a bunch of Bs. My dog has a 1 centimeter bleeding tag, they advertise wound care at roughly 35 dollars. I go in they say " wow its bleeding so bad" well its only gonna cost 400 bucks. And then hit me with 45 dollar exit fee. With no meds, didn't fix anything. And then had the audacity to ask if I wanted to make a surgery appointment. No! Not when its only going to cost 320 at my actual vet. I tried these guys because they advertise they care. Will not be returning. The staff members where nice to me and my dog.

While they are reasonable in their costs, they make you wait HOURS even when you make an appointment. Which is anxiety provoking for your pet. 4 hours in a waiting room is Not appropriate if you have appointment. I had paid hundreds to them 1 year ago to have 3 teeth pulled. This time, they tried to overcharge me when they had a package rate for the same tests & until I pointed it out to them they didn't fix it. They were flexible once, I explained I am on a budget, let me do a payment plan but for a $30 fee. Not nice nor appropriate if you been going to them for years. My cat did heal well after the 4 hour vet appointment but am not sure I'll return to this vet. Everytime I go to them with an appointment, they take too long to treat.

They identified my 13 yr old pup, Tango's, Cancer diagnosis. They provided the Prednisone for only 25 bucks every 30 days... that gave him extra time with us. Their diagnosis was he will be gone by 9 to 12 weeks...Im glad they were WRONG and we had a good 6 months with him before the Prednisone stopped having any affect, or, it started making other problems in his body. Liver and kidney destruction from the Prednisone is usually what actually finishes the job. There IS NO painless way through this for you or your furr-baby, but be compassionate.
They also administered his last 2 shots he will ever take and charged only 35 dollars. They dont take the body, so be prepared to handle that, emotionally and mentally as well as physically. I recommend them...but only if you're poor. If you have a job of any type, be p to pay quite a bit.

Low cost veterinary care. The staff has always been friendly, compassionate & kind. The facility is very clean. During this pandemic, they all wear masks & have the lobby set up in a way that allows patients to distance. I recommend FCNMHP to anyone who needs a small animal vet.

The vet that did my babies surgery was absolutely amazing . She kept me in the loop all day and comforted me. The staff in the evening tho, act like they could care less about their jobs and are snotty . Get new receptionists and the place will be perfect .

I heard so many good things about this office but was very let down. The tech was very nice and extremely informative, but that was it. The front desk staff seemed more interested in their personal conversations, with only one person actually helping people. I will keep looking for another office.

Sadly, we had to have our very sick dog of 10 years put down. They were so understanding here!! Had us come in the back, with our doggy on a stretcher. Evaluated him right away. Gave us plenty of time to say our goodbyes before giving him the relaxing shot. Our doggy let go, shortly after that shot.... No need for the lethal one. Again, gave us time to mourn. Then took care of our bill in the room. And escorted us out the back again so no one had to see our tear stained faces. Very compassionate people!! We've since gotten a new doggy to help with the pain and to bring new life, energy and love into our home. It will be here... Where we bring her for all her very needs!!! God Bless them!!

First Coast no more homeless pets is a fantastic lower-cost Veterinary Clinic that I highly recommend.

We have been taking our animals to the two locations for almost 15 years now. With every procedure we've ever had done the price was completely Fair the customer service was wonderful and our animals were always treated well.

The specific location is very very busy I would recommend getting an appointment before choosing to be a walk in. Sometimes Waits can be up to 4 hours. Obviously if your small friend is in serious need go in and sit and wait. It's worth your time.

They are good. They have low prices on vaccines and wellness exams for your pet. You can make an appointment or walk in me I prefer making an appointment unless it is an emergency. Because just to walk in just for small things such as shots they take longer than if you make an appointment.

My dog got a cut requiring stitches. At our regular vet, I know I would have paid a couple hundred more than here. They take great care of my dog. However, the wait time is ridiculous. It is even bad if you make an appointment. For the rebandage, it took an hour and 45 minutes before we were through and I had an appointment. Just be prepared to wait.

They aren't taking walk-ins due to covid, but they managed to get me in with an extremely sick feral kitten. They had to keep him 2 nights. Dr. Vega was so nice when she called me for the updates.
