I took my elderly miniature poodle to have dental work at the beginning of June. When I picked her up they regretted to inform me that they burned her with the warming blanket . They acted like it was not a big deal. She has a burn on her side about half the size of her body. No hair grows there and it is permanently scarred. It is the beginning of August and my once beautiful, loving, smart dog is a wreck. She will no longer let us hold her, she potties in the house (she NEVER did before-not once!) she cries all day and runs back and forth until she wears herself out and falls asleep. She will sleep for 2 hours at a time and start all over again. Whining, running back and forth, and wincing if someone goes near her. My poor dog, they destroyed her life and when we told them about it, they did NOTHING!
