My package needed to arrive in Jonesboro, AR before the weekend, so I called to try and make that happen. A customer service agent told me to travel to The Hub in Memphis to collect the package. I travelled there and was told that I needed to speak to customer service again to try and locate the package. after talking to several different people for hours, I was informed that I had wasted my time and money to drive all the way here. The guard at the security station for FedEx was extremely rude for the entire encounter. I intended to file a report, so I asked for his name and information. He denied me that and proceeded to cover his badge and hide inside. The other armed guard also refused to give me any information on either person. The entire thing left a bad taste in my mouth.
Great place to work. Been with the company over 20 years. Wow
Great fedex to deliver a load to. Dropped my trailer off at 10:30 pm night before delivery they took it and said just come back in the morning it will be empty by 9 am. You can bobtail out of FED EX and lives ans couple truck stops around.

Take a tour here if you can. FedEx has their act together. Can't say too much, but I was really impressed with them as a company. Like a mini city at the airport. I always choose them over any other parcel delivery service. Keep it up, FedEx.
UPS runs rings around FedEx I've tried several times and I never got my package on time. Maybe those corporate mockedy mucks should call UPS and find out how it's really done. This was the 3rd and final try.
I wish I could give a zero star review to Sylvia Carter in Memphis and the rest of the customer service staff. This is the most unorganized unprofessional company I have ever dealt with I will NEVER allow a package to be shipped to me from these people!!!!
Yard dogs were very nice but the ladies in the office to get your paperwork not so much. I turned in my pager and the lady said 1301. She repeated herself and I said 1301 what? Then she said 1301 is the time write in on the paper. Like clarify yourself, I was I suppose to know you were talking to me especially since she was also on the phone ha ha ha and he he he but when she look at me had an attitude.
I have had multiple packages shipped and delivered by FedEx, and although they charge more than most, it's been flawless most of the time. They are punctual and update you accordingly.
Unfortunately, this last round has shown me a different side of FedEx. My package is "still in Customs waiting to be cleared" is what I continue to hear. This was after they told me it was in transit to my local hub. It was supposed to be here over 1 week ago and I am losing money everyday it sits in theirwarehouse, not to mention the extra money paid for expedited international shipping. All of that, and the worst part of all is that no one has offered these updates. I have been through the ringer trying to extract this information.
I have filled out paperwork as requested, written emails as requested, waited for phone calls as requested, and still they have not moved my package from their hub in Memphis. And, the fact that it's still in Memphis even though the tracking says it's held up at my local hub... I only found this out when I traveled to my local Hub and the kind gentleman there informed me they had not received it, and that the information I was seeing on the App was not correct.
Everyone who has helped me has been kind and taken their time with me but no one has been able to resolve the issue and no one has called me back regarding my package, even though they said they would three different times now. I'm beginning to wonder how far up the food chain I have to go before I receive some definitive answers, receive a real update, and am compensated for their lack of communication.
People at the gate are rude!! Got to drop your trailer and wait till next morning they unload at night !!
If I could I would not even give 1 star to FedEx. those people have NO clue what they are doing!!! continuously loosing and damaging my boxes. I have had so much loss for my business. Memphis International Department absolutely irresponsible and careless people, and they blame to others for their faults!!!! "Fish gets rotten from head"....., that department needs serious management restructure!!!!!
I have always found FEDEX to deliver packages time and has great people in customer service.

They have been holding my package for 10 days now. Everytime I call I am on hold for 15 to 20 minutes, saying that all representatives are busy serving others and I should wait or leave my number for them to call back. I wait and the phone rings but now it connects me to a random representative who is not available and instructs me to leave a message. If you are going to connect me to a person who is not available why did I wait all that time. And I leave a message. Guess what? No one calls back.

Fedex/TNT delivered a package from the EU addressed to my business in Florida in the USA instead to a business in a city in Mexico. The receiver returned it to Fedex in Memphis TN where it arrived on 31 October and has not been properly delivered to me since, where it is valued under $300. Fedex now has an unacceptable standard of service.

Customer support is terrible and even if you ask there are several different excuses for why you cannot speak to a manager; out on the road, doing payroll, medical emergency handling of another staff member, in a meeting (the last three from the same representative, Christian, in ten minutes) or they will tell you they're "f'ing busy". They cannot or will not give enough information to be recognized if filing a complaint.
Julius and Chritian should find a position out of customer service. Julius couldn't find my package in the system after repeating it to him multiple times and input it on the keypad, was rude and spent the last 5 minutes of the call saying he cannot hear me; to the point I had to walk around outside, was rude throughout and had "better things to do".
Huge company flaw not to tie tracking numbers to door tags but instead having to back track from address and tag could be for any package.
Excellent place to work. It is physically demanding though with a 4-5 hr work period feeling like an endurance marathon. However the benefits, training, and opportunities travel and pronotions are the best in the business.

Southaven, MS to Memphis, TN (12 mins away) took four.... days.... without updates. Laughable! I always hated how FedEx doesn t update for days on end... (but they make sure to the day your package is scheduled to arrive lol) but this takes the cake. Four days to go twelve minutes away I am mind blown. Wish there was a way to request ship *NOT FedEx*. Wonder how long TN to WA will take :O
FedEx is seriously the worst. My brother sent my drivers license and payroll check to me from Ohio to New Orleans. He used overnight express delivery. The package had a guaranteed arrival time of 7/28/2020 by 8pm. When I called to check on the status after it was not received by this time, I was told it was in Memphis and was delayed due to flooding in New Orleans. This information was false, which I knew because I was in New Orleans and there was no flooding or airline delays. After calling back multiple times over multiple days I was given a plethora of different reasons for the delay flooding in Memphis (false), flight delays in Memphis due to weather (false), staffing issues due to COVID (possibly true), mechanical delays, back-ups in movement of packages (possibly true), and finally that my package was lost (also possibly not true since the last person I spoke to stated it was scanned being put on a crate for shipment from Memphis to New Orleans).
It is now 7/31 and I still have not received my express overnight package that was mailed on 7/27 with a delivery date of 7/28. I have had to change my flight four different times. Miss my first week of work as a travel therapist in California, volunteering to go to the front lines to provide desperately needed care during the pandemic. And they still are not able to guarantee that my package will actually depart Memphis tonight. That s just what is supposed to happen.
Apparently fedex hasn't rid itself of it's thiefs at this location because my package made it to Memphis before midnight Friday night and there it stayed. With fedex unable to locate it.
shipped so many packages with fedex but somehow you guys deliver my package 2 weeks later then scheduled delivery date or 1 week early.
Please fix up your tracking and logistics order. it is needed. rest is all good. cheap and fast but fix yo self.

After years of delivering here at least once a month, I can anecdotally confirm that the harassment of drivers at the gate is at least partially racially motivated. Both of us in the truck are foreign born, but US Citizens, and the caucasian driver is consistently forced to wake the non-caucasian driver, but never vice versa.

This location requires driver teams to violate FMCSA/DOT regulations and wake a sleeping driver before entering to deliver or pick up a load. Their arguments are invalid. You follow those instructions at your own peril.
If the awoken codriver falls asleep on their subsequent shift while driving, the person who woke them is responsible for part of the liability on any damages, and of course you may even end up dead in the wreckage.
It is eggregiously irresponsible for them to behave in this manner, and they are quite belligerent about it, even going so far as to shout at drivers who refuse to wake the sleeping codriver.
No wonder Amazon sacked them and they aren't doing so well as a company. My shipment of 4 items was supposed to arrive two days ago. One piece arrived, so I called and ask where the other 3 were and was told they were left at the sorting facility and will be delivered the next day. The next day comes around and only 2 of the 3 arrive, so I call again only to be told that the 4th piece was still on the truck because the "driver forgot to unload it." When I asked to file a complaint, the person on the phone told me all of the managers were busy attending to medical emergencies. One can only hold my 4th package arrives today. Completely incompetent and don't care about their work at all.
*UPDATE* Now the 4th package is lost.
Not good place to unload your trailer. They will take 5 to 6 hours for unloading.
I work there. This is a package transportation company that I have been employed at for 22 years.

The Memphis hub did not ship a priority overnight package that I paid for overnight! Doesn't it make sense that a priority overnight package would be shipped overnight! Apparently not to the idiots at the Memphis hub! The Memphis hub is pathetic horrible terrible awful!
FedEx is really becoming a joke. Customer service will flat out just lie to you about where and what is going on with your package just to get you off of the phone. I have a gate that keeps record of gate code usage. The drivers will lie and say delivery attempt made when they never even tried to deliver the package. Lazy, incompetent and just to preoccupied to be bothered with doing their job. I wish I could give -10 stars.

So y all steal mail too? Or just allow for it to happen and expect the merchant to just replace it because the packages constantly disappear within your possession??? And the online tracking just says held by FedEx aka lost by FedEx and I was told to just contact the merchant for a refund or a replacement. How about I get what I paid MY money for and wasted my time entrusting such a incompetent shipping company :).

Very and I mean very horrible company and service. I ordered some parts for my car and paid 2nd day shipping. I have never received my package, never got my money back even though they admit to delivering the package to wrong address, this is not happened once but 4 times in a row, so either I have a delivery driver issue or there service is going down hill, I know we don t get much choice anymore when we buy online which is a crime in itself but try to stay away from these people seems this company is having big problems, all in all they have cost me a lot of money
Had an iPhone 11Pro stolen at this FedEx Memphis TN main warehouse . The box was found but it was empty! FedEx paid the full claim but still ... I've read about the same thing happening to other people too many times to be acceptable. Get rid of the sticky fingered employees FedEx!!
only terrible experience. I run small trucking company. In april i ordered used fuelpump from bc canada to Ocala FL area overnight as my truck was broken down in freeway close to Ocala Fl. Payed 800 for shipping. They hold it in Memhis hub for 48 h without reason .
. This saturday I shipped from Portland OR to Columbus OH truck parts overnight. was supposed to delivered latest 3pm , payed 685$ for service guaranteed. in the morning tracking still showing memphis tn. Called customer service, cheap labor in El salvador answering lines told me not to worry that item is in delivery truck , will be on time . After 7 hours and 6 phone calls its still in memhis tn and nobody knows anything . Dont use fedex.
I honestly thought people were overreacting about their PS5 being lost by FedEx, until my console was 2 weeks late. Called Sony Direct, and they said FedEx picked up the unit but didn't scan it in the system. Now neither of them know where it is. Why didn't Sony just use UPS instead?

My international package got there and was there for 48 hours before catching its flight. No one ever answers the phone . TERRIBLE service at this FedEx hub. They need new management and staff. My package was suppose to be delivered on a Tuesday and now today is Friday night . No delivery date. Just terrible . Will not use FedEx ever. Even spoke to a manage and they was so unapologetic . Don't order.
This is where I currently work and have been for 22 plus years. Great place to work if you want to move up within a corporation. You must be willing to work and Pat your dues in learning the many different phases of the company.
Place runs smoothly considering all the traffic, can get in and out easy as pie.

FedEx ruined my Christmas. Couldn't deliver my packages on a sunny day. Called you weather delay. Bad weather was two weeks ago. I think they are just incompetent or lazy. Should have used the USPS or UPS. They would have arrived on schedule.
FRIENDS, CHOOSE ANY OTHER SERVICE NOT FEDEX FOR INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS. Fedex might look lower cost, but they will end up making you pay more at customs and cause you so much PAIN while handling your shipment.
Fedex for international shipments is the worst experience.
Their kyc department (outsourced to cogent e-services) is the reason for this.
Cogent team made me jump around in circles for more than a week (8 days) to get kyc done. Their agents are not clear on what needs to be done. Each agent asks you for different documents, declarations, emails, etc. I resent documents so many times. Their agents can't even speak in English properly, they switch to a village accent Hindi. While all of this was happening, I was paying warehouse charges at customs as my consignment was stuck.
I hate them for the amount of agony they've caused me. I'll not choose fedex international or any company that uses cogent e services. I HATE their services a lot.
Package sits at this location for 9 days during transit and no one will touch it. (this is before COVID). so called express service.
