Glorious gardens, everyone welcome, a great history lesson
I was at the Shrine with Father Hope Patten from 1939-45 and it is like a second home to me. A wonderful experience.
Very interesting place I've heard of for years. Interesting atmosphere. Quiet calm but strange. Loved it.
Oh what an amazing place to visit.been before and will be going again absolutly lovely to sit and pray
Peaceful place. A piece of beauty . Close to nature. Loved it
Beautiful. Very spiritual place. Shrine church in itself is architecturally interesting.
Attended the snow drop walk in the Spring. Stunning. Recommended.
Spiritual and peaceful place. Always feel better for visiting the Shrine.
A timeless peaceful and spiritual place to be neat God I love this place
Even if you are non religious, like us, you cannot help but be awed by this beautiful and tranquil place. The cafe isn't half bad either.
Very interesting place and well worth a visit if you are in the area.
It ought to be possible to give many more than five stars - this is, literally, a glorious place. It has been a place is pilgrimage to Our Lady since the 1060s, and still sees over 10,000 pilgrims annually at the Anglican Shrine alone. Accommodation is comfortable, food good, and the well kept Shrine grounds extensive and lovely. "England's Nazareth" indeed!
Peaceful. Beautiful. Anyone can join in the regular services or just sit, pray and soak it all in. Lovely garden too.
Walsingham is worth going to even once. The shrine may not be comfortable to every Christian
Wonderful peaceful spot to relax and think...religious or not.Excellent cafe
Wonderful worship and great welcome at this holy place.
Recommended place to visit with full of history around so interesting place for who adore and worship mother Mary.
A beautiful, peaceful place for quiet reflection and worship - definitely worth a visit in the warmer months of the year.
Absolutely a place to remember.
Such a calming place to visit. Put on your list of places to see.
We came to Walsingham year in year out for pilgrimage as a church but the rules and old fashioned views not in line with the modern church has meant we won't be going again.
I have visited the shrine on and off for many years and absolutely love the place. Beautiful village surrounded by stunning countryside and steeped in history.
I attended the national pilgrimage along with a few thousand others from all over the UK. in quieter times its a place for reflection and introspection, also has many religious shops cafes, bed and accommodation.
It has an old court house in the village and one of the oldest prisons as well as an Abbey.
I have been a regular visitor to Our Ladies Shrine in Walsingham for a good number of years Set in the beautiful village of Walsingham the shrine itself is a beautiful,Holy place, the grounds to the Shrine are beautifully landscaped and offer a quiet restful area. The Shrine Church includes the Holy House (a replica of Our Ladies house) Whether a visitor has faith or not they are sure to find peace and rest in this Wonderful place where everyone is made most welcome.
Place of healing and spiritual renewal; quite in English in all respects but beautiful
Place of great spiritual refreshment just returned from there going back next year
I've been coming to Walsingham since I was a child and every time am moved by this beautiful and holy place nestled in to the Norfolk countryside. While there is much to see as a tourist, you can't really 'get' Walsingham unless you go to worship at the Shrine Church, so do look up the service times before you go.
Beautiful place to visit, you can sence the holiness of this place
The people make the pilgrimage: to experience this place fully, you need to join in a pilgrimage. Try Tuesday evening, Weds morning and evening, or Sat to Sun. You go away changed and will want to return.
Very nice place to visit on earth. God bless them all.
Peaceful and silent atmosphere in fragrant and well tended gardens with many areas to sit and contemplate. Disabled loo. A good restaurant within the grounds with outside seating in a sunny corner. A place of spiritual refreshment.
Im only 14 and I absolutely love the place to bit go there three times a year when you leave the shrine you just want to be back again it is just such a lovely atmosphere especially with the shrie administrator fr Kevin Smith and the shrine preist fr Andreas and all of the team there they work so hard and I admire that and I am grateful for that I would recommend a visit to this place it is absolutely unforgettable and just overwhelming really it makes me cry when we have to leave its just a pleasure to be there we are do lucky that we have got this shrine without this I don't know what I would do.may god grant you all peace and love amen
Wonderful place. First went 32 years ago at age 18. He saved me that day and completely turned my life around. I am so blessed. My life would have been so terribly different. Go back as often as I can and always make sure I have Holy Water in my home. That has done so much for me too. Such a wonderful calming atmosphere and always feel closer to Him here than anywhere else.
This is a must visit, really atmospheric and you know God is here. Peaceful and not commercial at all. Worth visiting whatever method you get here, by foot or car.
Went on a day pilgrimage to the shrine. Followed the stations of the cross which are set out in the extensive gardens. Attended the Pilgrims mass before enjoying an excellent cooked lunch in the refectory. They cater for pre booked special More
A bit garish with all the gold coating and multi-coloured pictures and freaky statues.
Very nice Church of England Shrine. The Catholic shrine down the road is well worth a visit too.
A beautiful shrine and so welcoming. Etched in my heart. Many years I've been going there and always will.
Beautiful grounds surround the shrine. A deeply spiritual place.

Wonderful place. The Shrine and the Holy House are windows to Peace, Love and God's Grace. The tranquility of the grounds and gardens invite silence and reflection.
The Priests, Sisters and admin staff are really approachable, attentive and helpful.
We go every year. Its a beautiful, peaceful place. Ideal for a group or on your own. Wander at your leisure. The services are high-Church, I love the communion where we get very wet! Very spiritual and uplifting.
