Just wanted to thank Nayad for the beautiful hair cut he gave me last Wed. I have been travelling from Tillsonburg to London just to get a hair cut from him on a regular basis and won't let anyone else touch my hair. He is amazing. So is the spa, very friendly, they always have the comfort of the client as their top priority.

I went here recently for a spa manicure to use up a gift certificate I had. Megan (I may be spelling that wrong), was the lady working with me that day (19/09/20 9:15AM), and she did a great job! She was very friendly and professional. I would recommend her and her steady nail work to anyone!
The quality of the polish is nice too, I took the photo today (5 days after), and they still look awesome!

Wonderful, relaxing atmosphere. The massage therapist was a friendly woman who was excellent at her job, and she kept me at ease the whole time. They offered water, which is a nice touch. Really liked this place, though it's sad that they no longer offer some the package deals they used to have.

I m not the type to write reviews but with the continuous feedback I ve received on my hair from friends and other hair dressers I felt it was necessary. (I had my hair done in July but I m still being told how choppy and uneven it looks)
I was so excited to get my hair done here and with the price I paid I expected such a great result. I asked for a sun kissed look with a gradual fade from my natural dirty blonde that I wouldn t need to touch up for several months. It looks so choppy and not gradual at all. There s nothing gradual about it. I called and requested they fix it (prefer not to name names) and my hairdresser said all that needed to be done was to put a darker toner at the top, then a medium and keep the ends the same so it looks more blended and that if we went any higher with more bleach it wouldn t look right. That semi solved the problem until the toner washed out 2 weeks later and now my hair is looking like 2 completely different colours, not sun kissed at all. I forgot to mention, I had a very light sun kissed look when I came in and they treated my hair as if I was bleaching for the first time and now the hair that had blonde before is fried and a lot lighter than the rest of the hair blonde. It looks absolutely horrible. I m super upset about it and wish I could happily tell people I got my hair done at fayez spa.

This place is actually amazing. It is everything you imagine a 5 star luxury spa to be. The second you walk through the doors you re greeted by the friendliest and most professional staff. The atmosphere is extremely clean and beautiful and gives you an overall peaceful feel. I have been fortunate enough to do the ultimate her package a couple times, it is an 8 hour package that takes you through the entire spa and every step of the package you can clearly see the quality of work in their services. The staff are very accommodating, making sure you re feeling comfortable at all times. If you re looking to feel like a celebrity or just amazing for a few hours I would recommend this place 100%

This is a gorgeous spa and the services performed here are relaxing and make you feel beautifully pampered. However! The staff are not all very personable. They sometimes almost seem as if they are only in it for the tips and do not seem genuine. The owners children walk around like they own the place too. With the one hair dresser always loudly talking about his dramatic divorce, and his daughter swearing and talking down bossily to the other staff it's very hard to want to spend my money to support such a staff. As a customer, I feel like this is not something I should be seeing when coming in for my hair and spa services. - Carol

I have been to Fayez many times and had great experiences. This time, however, we were put in an unappealing, dingy basement room for our pedicures, not at all representative of the Fayez atmosphere we are used to. Upon booking, I was not informed we would be placed in a lesser room. Had I known, I would have booked another day. For the price of these pedicures, you expect a nice atmosphere and an overall positive experience. This basement room is embarrassing and Fayez should be ashamed to offer it. Ripped chairs and a poor nail polish selection topped it off. It is unfortunate that Fayez felt this was acceptable. Upon complaining we were simply told that we could reschedule and there was nothing else they could do. I was also informed by one rude staff member that I should have specified I didn t want that room when I booked. A little difficult to do when I had no idea a basement room was even offered. We will not be returning.

I purchased a couple of spa treatments for one of our team members and she was EXTREMELY happy, she couldn't stop talking about the a wonderful and enjoyable experience she had at the spa.
I can strongly recommend anyone that wish to give a memorable gift to simply send them to Fayez spa, best experience/gift ever.

Over promised, undelivered and left not wanting to go back.
I had been several times before with great hair and nail service but the last 2 times I was there has made me decide to never return.
This last time I had gone for the Silk Touch Straightening Treatment. The stylist said my hair would be straight, he even joked about it being flat and the straightest it has ever been. The very nice woman at the counter had even told me that she had had it done and was soooo happy with the result, so I was super excited. After waiting the appropriate time to wash, I washed it and was so disappointed it didn t look any different then it had before.
I called to let them know the results and they asked me to come back in to speak to the owner and the stylist that had done my treatment, and that they would make it right. Well I just came home from that appointment and what I got was, it is a smoothing agent, I never said it would make it straight. So what do you want from me? You want me to do it again or a cut or colour, or your money back? I had just been there two weeks prior for a the treatment and a cut so asked for my money back for the service.
The stylist went to speak to the manager and said all they would refund was for half because they had to pay for the product.
I paid $250 either for a product that doesn t work like I had promised or the application wasn t done properly as I was told it would leave my hair straight and it didn t.
Lesson learned, don t go back for an expensive service after they last time you went for a cut and colour, they stylist forget to cut my hair.

A nice busy spa and salon. Lots of treatment options. Very attentive staff, for the most part. They clearly don't share the info they have you put down on your client profile, as i was *this* close to having a product applied I am very allergic to. I had mentioned my allergy in passing earlier and the esthetician realized at the last second that the product had the allergen in it.

i filled out the comment card after i was done and got a very terse response that barely apologized for the near poisoning.

I'm quite sure that most experiences here would be 'luxurious' and for the most part i'd agree from my own. They are a well established business and wouldn't have been around for so long if they weren't good!

My husband and I went for massages the other day and both left underwhelmed. My masseuse used way too much oil to the point her hands were just slipping around and then rubbed it off after she was done with a really rough towel. My husband said his was ruined by people talking very loudly the whole time and then the massage was just meh. For what was spent and what we received we are very disappointed.

Very displeased with my experiences at Fayez spa. The spa has a beautiful atmosphere, but my service was just average for the price I paid. The front desk working checking me in and out of the spa was actually on her cellphone as I was talking at the front desk. Unimpressed overall.

The most amazing spa I have ever visited. It seems to be in a remote space, and doesn't look like much from the outside. It's like walking into a different world! The staff were phenomenal, and rave about each other and their employer. Everyone seems genuinely happy to be there, making the experience even better.

Good luck getting an appointment! They need an alternate location, or more staff. For the price you pay, you'll be 3-6 months to get a massage booked with RMT. Worth it to just go to another spa as this place has the most ridiculous waiting list..

Booked a spa facial and spa pedicure. Emilee was fantastic. She is very professional and made sure my first experience at Fayez was a good one. Relaxing facial with great neck and shoulder massage and my pedicure was perfectly done. Ask for Emilee and you won't be disappointed - her massage techniques are super relaxing.

I needed to use up a 2 year old gift certificate for $100.Walked in for my appointment was told it was cancelled and they have been trying to get a hold of me. I asked why( eye lash tint) they cancelled it , they said because on my last visit I reacted to some of the products. I said. I ve never stepped foot in here before!
Finally they let me in and was with an abrupt snotty woman. She was mad I had eye make up on, I told her I asked the receptionist when I made the appt. what I needed to do prior to coming in since I m coming in straight from work, receptionist said nothing, just come in.
This woman was so mad that I asked to use some eye make up remover. Her response we don t have make up remover here! I couldn t believe what I was listening too., she proceeded to wipe my mascara off so hard that I thought my eyeballs were going to pop out!
She was terrible at her job(Melissa) and left me alone with my eyes slammed shut for over 20 minutes. I will never go back there, what a waste of a gift card.

Very confusing that a customer service based business will go to war with a customer when they weren't given the service they paid for.

Went for a spa day. The massage therapist I had was great however for the price of everything there were little things that threw me off. While "relaxing" in a mud wrap I listened to staff the entire time in the hallway of the "quiet area". Then when I was told to shower off the mud there was no soap in the shower.
This place is gorgeous and could so easily be a 5 star luxury spa but these small things get in the way of true relaxation.

Wow!! I have no words to describe how I was treated. Literally Fayez left me speechless!

I received a chemical peel that ended up injuring my face to the extent that I received antibiotics and a steroid cream. I wasn t able to work. Fayez respectfully paid for a refund and also treated me to a day at the spa. I was happy with my regular services.

I called in after to book an eye brow waxing and was transferred over to Fayez. Fayez yelled at me advised that I made him lose so much money and that I shouldn t come back to his spa if I m so unhappy. Needless to say I won t.

Please ladies and gents do yourself a favour. Know your worth. Never EVER let anyone yell at you or disrespect you especially as a business owner. This spa is absolutely disgraceful and inhumane. As a loyal customer of 17 years I will never go back!!

I can never be bothered to write reviews, but this place is such a scam. I got a facial, and this woman clearly had no clue what she was doing. I'm almost positive she was new. The only way I can describe it is it felt like I was getting an at-home facial by an 8 year old (I know that's harsh and I'm honestly not trying to be mean). The quality of the facial and the thoroughness was less than 1 star. I even (politely) explained that it wasn't up to par on a comment card before I left. A woman called me the next day (I left my number) so that I could elaborate. When I did, she denied denied denied. It's frustrating because she wasn't the one getting the facial, so how would she know? Anyway, just wanted to share. You really should go somewhere else if you're looking for a facial. It's not worth the price at all.

The service was fine and the lady that did my facial was friendly and knowledgeable. However, I agree with the other reviews saying the atmosphere of the room they bring people to is dark, "cold and dingy" basement feeling; NOT cozy and warm like it is in the pictures. For a spa, I was not impressed. It's also too pricey for what you get. I will not be returning. Sorry.
Update for the response: you guys need to repaint the rooms a much lighter colour, bring in natural lighting - not just the one salt lamp - in my opinion. And to be honest, it felt like the treatment was too expensive for what I experienced.

I have a large team of employees I was planning on getting gift baskets that would include certificates to Fayez Spa.

Thankfully I inquired with friends, and colleagues on the quality of service I could expect when investing in their services.

I learned that its common practice for the staff at Fayez Spa to either deliberately lie to potential customers in order to secure the sale, then refuse to make it right after the customer learns of the lie, or the staff doesn't know their offerings/policies, then refuse to acknowledge their mistake or make it right.

You would think after requesting to speak to the manager to express your concerns with the above, he would try his best to make it right. Or at least meet you in the middle. I was astonished to learn the owner himself is extremely rude, accusatory, and threatening to customers that express concerns. He refuses to entertain the possibility his staff could make a mistake. Refuses to even simply apologize. He calls you a liar. Then he threatens you.

I have taken my large purchase elsewhere, and I will forever do what I can to educate folks on this experience with Fayez SPA.

I went to Fayez for treatment of some small broken capillaries on my face causing redness. They recommended a Vasculyse laser treatment. The procedure was extremely painful and left me with a lot of scabbing wounds. I was told this was a normal part of the procedure and healing process. Weeks after treating my wounds exactly how I was instructed, I have been left with permanent noticeable scarring which is much worse then the redness I was hoping to treat in the first place. After consulting with a dermatologist about the scarring it was concluded that this was likely the result of misuse by the technician performing the Vasculyse treatment.
I strongly discourage having this procedure performed at Fayez Spa.

This is my favourite spot for manicures, pedicures, hair, massage, laser, body treatment and overall great customer service. All staff are highly skilled and knowledgable and I always leave happy and satisfied. It is wonderful to have a spa in the city minutes away from home and I highly recommend Fayez to anyone looking to pamper themselves.

This is my favorite spa in the London area. Getting a pedicure here is a full body experience. It's hard to go anywhere else after you've had an hour in a massage chair while your feet are being pampered. Love having my hair done here, too. It is a bit pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for.

Scam. I went in for a microneedling facial (expensive - look on their website) and the appointment was super rushed- the actual facial lasted 5 minutes. Online it says appointment is roughly 75 mins, I was there for about 50-55 mins. She didn't use the tool on my entire face, skimmed over most areas very briefly. The whole time I felt like i was being pressured to book additional facials "to see better results" rather than the technician focusing on giving me a good thorough facial that I had paid for. I asked friends and family about their experiences with microneedling facials in the past and they said at least 10-15 mins for the actual facial - I spoke to management about the issue to see if they could offer me anything to make up for the poor quality facial I received (in a very professional and polite way) and she had no solution other than to say that the procedure was done correctly. - HUGE scam, do not recommend.

Had my hair cut here since I was about 9 years old thats about 9 years that Adam has cut my hair. Never has he given me a haircut that I wasn't absolutely satisfied with. I love being able to have the confidence to walk in and sit down and ask him to go nuts on my hair knowing that it will turn out a way that I like. He is very competent and an absolutely amazing and pleasant person to talk to. He comes nothing short of professional and that can be said for their entire staff team at Fayez. It's a great company and in all honesty is worth trusting. Prices are fair for services rendered and every experience you get here will be a pleasant one.

EDIT: **Any company that only responds to positive reviews is sorely missing the mark when it comes to customer service!** I went there many years ago but the experience left me so uncomfortable. The front desk staff were very nice but the woman doing my mani/pedi made a pretty rude comment about how big my feet are (which is true, lol but come on that's not very professional!) which everyone around me heard. I called the next day and asked to speak to a manager to inform them of my experience without naming the woman- just to let them know & hopefully address it with their staff- was told I would receive a call back but I never did. I also had a massage before that experience, and it was good, but overall I wish the staff understood the importance of boundaries when making small talk or interacting with customers.

Way too pricey for what you get, I came out with the same hair cut that I had done for $30.00. I found a lot of middle aged women going there just to be flirted with by the son's of the owner, who were clearly working and humoring them for tips. All the staff appear to be friendly but it just doesn't seem genuine. I would much rather pay less and have a good laugh with genuine people.

I have my nails feet hair as well as the occasional massage. I have been a customer for a number of years. Yes services are somewhat expensive but remember you get what you pay for. Services have been excellent from the front desk. Sylvia and Ali are great and I have been more than happy.

Its not expensive for the treatments you get and stagf are up to date on certificates amd modern trends for beauty. My fiance loves getting his feet done here, and the food is even great! Cant wait to spend the day here before my wedding. Im bringing in the whole party

I have had many brazilians and have never experienced anything so bad as my last experience at Fayez. The lady was running late, which is fine, but she basically ran me to the room, then seemed to be rushing through the procedure. In our conversation, I asked it she was almost done for the day and if she had plans for the evening, I was her last patient and yes she had people coming over that night. That explains her rushing..I was her last pt and she wanted to get out of there. I was so very sore after the waxing, and my skin was still red 3 days afterwards with various blood spots & bruises. This is not normal, and I have never experienced this in my many years of waxing, I will never be returning to Fayez.

Only minus 1 star because of confusion at the end. Where to go, when to pay (we almost left without paying because they said we were good to go) and miscommunication regarding RMT vs Spa Therapist. Only blemish on an otherwise perfect experience.

Over five months I've seen three different RMT's, ...

Over five months I've seen three different RMT's, none of whom still work there. There is only one RMT remaining at Fayez at the time of writing, and she's not the right RMT for me so I am having to take my business elsewhere. There must be some organizational problem at Fayez, resulting in the poor staff retention in this department. If you're looking for a steady RMT, this is not the place to go.
