Having Grigore Moisil on the same page (Notable Alumni) with Dragnea and Iliescu is not appropriate. Let's show some decency and respect for one of the greatest minds of our country (I am talking about Moisil!)

Now it is with the Bac contest. I do not know if it's a solution, engineers need to know Physics or Bac is not this the proof. And then I think about what kind of exam we gave in 1980 ... who came to Poli was a physics drum. That's because in the 2nd year, who was passing the Resistance of materials was said to finish college or he has chances. If you take 5, you will not be able to make a note of the risk that you are taking the 4th. This was through the years when you dropped an exam and handed it out in the fall, but you learned all the matter, anyway the holiday was compromised. And where do you still say that no one wanted to repeat the year and take all the courses. They only equaled you if you were 7 or you would have to take this note during the year. By the 4th and 5th years you entered the profile and it was easier. However, by the third year in the winter we felt that night and night would never end. And after we've finished, the factories have shut down one at a time, I was the first generation of unemployed, and no one worked as an engineer at the 10-year meeting. Worse, it was like a bank circulated, "engineers have clever eyes but they do not know how to express themselves," and to work in a field other than a taxi you ought to know how to express yourself. So I'm staying and wondering what's going on in Polia today when the industry has deleted the map. Here and there, maybe there are still, but what do thousands of engineers do?

The largest higher education institution in Romania in terms of volume. The place where the successor of the polymeric "academic" Coana Leana Ceausescu joined hands with the former industrial intelligence agents converted into "pedagogues" to create a new high school, a house of tolerance for some seniors and last but not least a place with more easily where their own offspring can earn a penny.

My friends at Sport Arena can no longer hold their famous streetball tournaments because of the pandemic. The only income they have is to rent the sports fields from the Polytechnic. What does the university do? It locks all pedestrian entrances, forbids entry by car from the Military, only suffocates the last private and sports initiative. And also put the security staff to chase you if you jump the fence to get to the land you paid with 240 RON. Shame!

One of the biggest universities in the country. It has lots of specializations but the teachers here are rather old, both as age and in their teaching. Investments are done and can be seen all around the campus. The atmosphere is given by the young students.

The largest technical education institution that has brought out top engineers in all fields and who are now famous abroad. We have nowhere to experience what they have learned and it is a total mourning. Sin.!

It is really a great malice and selfishness to fence the Polytechnic park on all sides. I am 3 steps from the park and I have to go around 3 km to be able to enter. What do you think would happen if people walked, cycled or strolled?

One of the worst Universities in the whole country...it brags about its performances but the courses are outdated for a couple of years. Most of the professors don't give a damn about you and even they try do keep you down for their own fun and amusement. The professors imply to use programs which require a licence and the programs used are pirated. I would recommend to evade this place for your own safety and your own wallet since this "thing" wants your money and does not give you anything

This review will only touch the campus part of the university, as a visitor.
Great campus, with lots of trees and green spaces. It's basically a park. It has uphill and downhill. You can go for a walk, or go for a bicycle ride, or rollerblading.
Place it's pretty big, however it lacks some benches (but again, it's a campus).
Place is now opened, encourages Covid precaution measurements and social distancing.

10 years ago there was a large, beautiful and friendly park around the Polytechnic, open to the public. Now half of the park was built with blocks, on all sides of the park, and the Polytechnic has hired a large number of guards who behave abusively. I saw how the young people were forced to get up from the grass, being told that they were only allowed on the alleys and benches.

Tranquility, tradition, seriousness!

Tranquility, tradition, seriousness!
I would compare it to the image of this tree. The picture is taken in the green area of UPB.

The hottest technical university in Romania. I am proud to be a graduate of the Polytechnic of the 2012 class. They have very good teachers with whom I kept in touch even after I finished my studies. Being a student here I was able to study abroad, through the partnerships that the University has with other universities (in my case from France).
It was a very formative experience for me and I am glad that I studied here.

If as a foreigner, you're checking them reviews because you're planning on studying in this particular university then you should absolutely NOT even consider.
Here are some reasons:

Students are too geeky to establish a connection with.

There are some cool professors, though for some of the others they might degrade or say some humiliating stories about how foreigners are behind every bad thing in the world (stealing jobs, stealing money and even creating illuminati :)) ...)

Studies are so... Outdated.

If you signed up for a foreign language, don't even bother you will study in Romanian .

If you're investing the savings of your life in this university, simply don't! I'm sure you can find something much better if you keep looking.
