Prutsers. They came to install a new meter, with the immediate consequence of a serious leak in the indoor installation. The mechanic in question claimed that it had nothing to do with each other and could / would not do anything about it. Called with his boss, he relinquished all responsibility. Called to service desk Farys where I was transferred 4 times. After powering because they always wanted to get rid of me. Finally, a technical service employee said that I had to call in a plumber myself and that afterwards it would be a matter for insurance. In short, I had to solve their fiddling work and get my flooded house dry. And in the meantime, I ran out of running water. It is a pity that I still have to give 1 star. A big zero!

When I was a student, I studied in Ghent for six months, so I had to pay that period to Farys (Sept 2016-Jan 2017). After that I never heard from them again, until June 2019. Then I kept getting warnings that I still had to pay for the last 2.5 years ?! I then emailed and called Farys customer service. They assured me on the phone that this was indeed an error because I had never received emails or letters from, for example, a bailiff or the like. They told me to resend the takeover document again and then forward all the credit notes to me. This was going to take some time and around September 2019 I indeed received a lot of credit notes, starting from February 2019. I thought this was finally over until I got an email from a bailiff that apparently this would not be over ?! I emailed them again but now of course they say that all of this would be wrong and I cannot prove this despite previous phone calls + the credit notes. I have never been treated so badly by a supplier and I do not recommend it to anyone!

Calls to 078 (paying) cannot be reached with a smartphone.
Called an 0800 on a landline, who said it was not for us harm from farys, a bit arrogant.
Basement of apartment under water already 10 cm, Farys did not want to do anything, called the syndic. Please make an 0800 number that can be reached for damage.

Very bad (telephone) service! People are forced to work older people online and do not state where people can go for personal contact. They just pick up !? Congrats! Even 1 star is too much for such a service, but without a star I cannot post this review.

The customer service has helped me very kindly. But Farys is very expensive. It is a pity that we can not choose a water supplier ourselves. Every city, every municipality has its own monopoly in this respect. Obviously, a company can eagerly make use of it, because the customer has no choice.

Racism up to and including ... We are French-speaking and BELG at home, we live in BELGIUM and when we call in an official language of Belgium, they do not want to help us because you do not speak Flemish, no. Madam, we do not speak Flemish, but Dutch. And by the way, as a customer you should be able to be served in 1 of the 3 official languages of Belgium, if necessary pass it on to a colleague. It's not like I started to speak Japanese or Spanish. This is also a society where you are obliged to have a service, if we could choose we would have been gone a long time. It's just outrageous, you are no longer allowed to be a Belgian in this country.

EXTREMELY UNPLEASANT AND UNFRIENDLY CONTACT

We call to follow up on the replacement of a Lead pipe as they came to check and told us to expect a follow up call in the next 2 weeks. As nothing happened, we call and get a very unpleasant person who gets mad at us because we don't give her a client number (sorry we don't remember all clients number for every single company) and she cant find anything. Then she realizes she DID NOT LOOK AT THE RIGHT NUMBER.

I understand why Belgium is often seen as a place with one of the worst customer service in the world. As Belgian, I am ashamed of this and don't understand how there are still companies out there which don't care about their customer experience.

Shameful way of doing business. This is wild capitalism at its best. No justice whatsoever in helping the customers. If you could - but of course you can't ;-) - we all chose a different supplier. They supposedly send bills, but in fact they just don't do this to push people into their domicile system, or they happily give them to a bailiff's office with which they bake sweet bread and share the proceeds. Sad from A to Z.

Expensive company. Friendly helpdesk. However, if you forget to pay, you immediately have to pay administrative costs. People sometimes forget things but obviously, Farys doesn't make any mistakes. This is not a customer friendly approach. A cost free reminder would be more customer friendly and 21st century appropriate!

Too expensive. More than 1 year after our move and cancellation, we still receive invoices with the associated administrative costs and threats. Incorrect invoicing, by the way! Also not friendly or helpful when you call them. Fat zero.

Their site offers us on My Farys to connect with Google or Facebook and it does not work.
I just had a very unfriendly Dutch-speaking lady on the phone who told me that it would never be possible in the future but before that told me that she did not know.
In short, please update your website and withdraw the proposal to connect with Facebook and Google.

Too bad the star 0 can not be given, very poor telephone reception and moreover treats you like a draw!
My former tenant made a mistake in writing and filled out a repossession document with some initials. Farys simply made the change without informing me and without putting the correct address on the invoice. So not even a confirmation email that he had received the recovery document. So if you want, put your subscription on your neighbor with some signature and your neighbor can pay your bill! (ironic). Farys just tells me I just have to go to the police, even Farys doesn't check.

Pay attention because Farys does not adhere to the General Water Sales Regulations and afterwards they put pressure on you to pay fraudulent invoices. I already file a complaint! I recommend everyone to do the same. If you do not submit your meter readings on time, they will charge this twice and claim that you are no longer entitled to the basic rate. I think their score speaks for itself.

Moves from bad to worse. Problems with the water supply that now take almost a month without a solution. Roads that are open without communication to local residents of time and condition. And today no more water as a final piece.
But pay a bill once.

Self communication to emergency services on exit roads is as good as nonexistent. I speak from experience.

The number of times I had contact with Farys, this concerning new connection to drinking water or urgent problems with connection to waste water, I have been helped very correctly and in a friendly manner. Excellent service, smooth communication and follow-up of my file. In my case 5 stars.

Service below everything !!! 4 months of waiting to have an appointment, to finally not come to the appointment ...
