I booked a lawnmowing service online using the App...

I booked a lawnmowing service online using the App and the automatic booking suggested I book for 3hours, but I had only a small patch of grass in my backyard to be mowed, so I reduced the hours to 2hours, and this cost me $157. As this is my first time booking such a service with them, I thought it is standard pricing. But later I got another quote from a local gardener and he gave me a quote of $50 and he said the job will just take 15mins! So I guess I have been ripped off by Fantastic Services and when I tried to cancel, they said they will charge me $50 cancellation fee which was posted on their website. I tried to reason with them that the reason I cancelled was because they are a rip off charging me 3x more for the same job, especially not during this Covid-19 challenging financial times and I was out of work due to the Pandemic! They would not allow me to cancel this job and I had no choice but to pay 3x more but I will not use this company again so be really careful before you engage them, definitely not worth booking online without having them come onsite to quote for the job. You are much better off using Airtasker or Service Seeking. I will be taking up with relevant authorities about their rip off fees. As you can also read from other reviews, this company is a rip off charging customers additional for end of lease or other cleans when they attend the job.

I am a loyal and repeat customer, and have referred several friends to their services. i have found them to be patient and willing to listen to customers and unlike so many other cleaning services out there that try to get in and out with as little work as possible, i believe that they really do care and consistently try to provide the best services possible. unlike a lot of other cleaning services its nice to have a receptive to feedback customer service department which is refreshing in this industry! Will continue to use. Really does make everything run smoothly.

I used them for my end of lease cleaning and was very shocked with the service.
They missed so many things that was on the agents checklist such as walls and blinds and then proceeded to tell me that these items are not included. although i was informed prior to booking that they were included.
The agent even rang me and said there is only one cleaner here when there was meant to be 3.
When i booked, they confirmed that they use the agents checklist which clearly isn't the case.
They now want extra $$$ to come back and do what is required.
They were meant to finish at 11m and when the agent turned up for the 1pm inspection they were still cleaning which prevented the inspection from being carried out.
Worst service, you cant even contact them directly.
Don't be fooled, go elsewhere for cleaning services.

My wife booked this company to come to our house to give us a quote to clean all the windows after we had just completed our renovations. They asked for our credit card details in order to secure them coming out here. Unfortunately she obliged and before they had even come our here $172 was charged to our credit card despite us not giving any authorisation to do so.

I rang them up immediately and demanded they refund our money. The lady on the phone was impossible to deal with, and we kept going around in circles for close to 20 minutes on the phone. She informed us that this is standard practice, despite us just wanting a quote. We never said we wanted them to do the job! We were just shopping around at this stage! She then told me that it will take 10 days to refund the money! Eventually the call was transferred to another guy who promised the money would be refunded the next day. I ll post an update here if that actually happens.

How dare you take our money before we have even given you the go ahead for the job. All we wanted was a quote.

We ended up getting in touch with Leigh s window cleaning from point cook, who is coming out here tomorrow FOR FREE to quote the job.

Shame on you and your pathetic business practices. Be warned.

My wife just received a phone call from this company. After reviewing the phone call recording they have admitted to breaking the law by fraudulently charging our card without any consent. They offered to come and clean the windows for free, an offer we refused as we want NOTHING to do with these scammers. We will be referring the matter to Police. They also broke the promise they made to us yesterday when they assured us the refund would be back in our account by today. They now tell us that it will take 5 to 7 business days.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! I booked for a full window clean 6 days in advance to the scheduled clean. Received a confirmation sms and email for the booked service. Cleaners were scheduled to arrived between 1-2pm. At 2:50pm l contacted the company and to find out where these so called 'cleaners' were. Customer Service called back to tell me the cleaners can no longer attend the scheduled clean. I did not receive any notification that the job was cancelled nor did they send anyone else to complete the job.
This meant it was too late for me to book another company to do the job prior to hosting some guests and if l did not call, l would have been waiting all evening. Extremely unreliable and unprofessional!!!

Fantastic failed to arrive on two consecutive days causing major inconvenience to me and my entire family. We had to drive two hours up and back with young babies in the car twice to meet them but they didn't show. The person on the phone was unhelpful and showed no empathy. However, to their credit, after I posted some dreadful reviews on this and another website, they contacted me to apologise, offered $100 in compensation and sent out a nice hamper. This was enough for me to review my review but they still failed to deliver and wasted an enormous amount of my family's time. Two days was taken off work for nothing.

Staff were friendly and hard working cleaning a 1 bedroom apartment in around 4 hours. Cleaning of carpets of and walls was great. However, streaks were left on mirrors and stainless steel appliances - they were cleaner beforehand. Cleaning products used on bathroom tiles resulted in discolouration and marks left from shoes which could not be removed. Damage to floors was not covered by guarantee and I was offered a partial refund / further tile cleaning after a customer service representative followed up on my complaint.

Sam was terrific, rang early because he was held up by a real estate agent forgetting he was coming. So nice. Put shoe covering over his socks, Eira a mask and gloves. Inspected inside and out gave sound advice then photographed the ceiling area and showed us the droppings and rats tail before putting the pellets up there. Friendly efficient guy, thanks Sam.

Stainless steel stove top was left with scratches as they used a wire brush to clean it with even though it didn t need cleaning! Glass door of oven was also left covered in scratches due to wire brush and then the worst bit was the top of the oven was not even cleaned and left still covered in thick grease! They weren t professional oven cleaners it was husband and wife with a bucket and degreaser!

Hired for an end of lease clean to reduce the stress of moving house, only to add to the stress instead. Only positive is they come back to clean what they missed- a week later.

Only time available was 7am. No keys to new place until 10am so explained when booking that place is furnished and that our belongings would be piled on top of the bed.

Cleaners were surprised to see it was furnished when they arrived, were late and took another 10 minutes parking the van as well...
Admittedly, our belongings were still in the property and the cleaners said furnished properties are hard work. Don't offer to clean them then -we did warn when booking!

Real estate agent refused to return our bond based on lack of the basics being cleaned- oven door, inside of cupboards, inside windows, stains still on carpet, dirty floor tiles in laundry. Was advised against cleaning the walls by the cleaners, then told by agent they needed doing. It was then a further 6 days before the cleaners could get back out and fix it up at which time the new tenants were moving in. So we had to go back with 2 friends to finish what they started and do it ourselves. They did come back to do the carpets later in the week so are true to their word. Cleaners were nice enough despite only one able to speak English and the staff on phones were pleasant, but my advice would be do it right the first time and save the company the hassle having to send staff back out to work sites!

Industrial cleaning products used... if that's what you call Ajax! Should have saved myself a few quid.

Mehrdad is so experienced and he was very helpful. Although didn't end up fixing the deck( due to unavailability of the material) he gave us very helpful advice on maintenance issues of the house.

I booked in this service 2 weeks ago for window cleaning. The windows included upstairs windows. Firstly they were running over 3 hours late last week so we ended up postponing to this week to this week. When the cleaner arrived he arrived alone and when he saw the second story windows he complained that the company kept booking in jobs that he can't do. I was surprised and asked him if he had the equipment and he advised no and asked if I had a ladder! I was a bit shocked. When he asked if he could still do the lower windows I said no because I needed the whole job done. He kept going on about how one of his friends got badly injured. I told him to take it up with the company. It seemed like the workers/contractors are scared and are not provided with the right equipment to do the job. I ended up calling Jims Windows instead!

Update 11/10/19: Fantastic services got back to us and agreed to waive the cancellation fee stating it was a mistake. They also gave us a credit of $40 for the inconvenience. Definitely great customer service follow up, we will use them when needed in future.

Beware of these guys, we had to cancel with ample notice, and they are trying to charge us a cancellation fee even though we DID NOT accept their terms and conditions. Great way of trying to win a customer.Will never recommend or even consider these guys in the future.

The cleaning was done satisfactorily but upon arrival they requested an additional 20% above the quoted price because the house needed more cleaning than they had anticipated. However when I originally booked I was told it would take 5-6 hours and yet the job only took 3.5 hours. So I feel that the extra charge was not justified.
I felt I had no choice but to agree - the job had to be done and it was too late to make any other arrangements. But to me, this is bad business practice. You choose a company based on their quotation. If you can t trust then to stick to their quotation, then you can t have confidence in them. Beware if you book this company that the price they quote you may not be the price the charge you!

Wow, I thought we could not be more disappointed in this service. After cancelling on us two weeks ago (twenty minutes before they were due to arrive, when we had a function that night) this service attempted to resurrect the situation by offering to clean the house. Only yet again, they cancelled, this time 45 minutes before they were due to arrive. I have never known a company to be so unreliable and disrespectful of their customers.

I am extremely disappointed with this service.

I called on Wednesday hoping to book in a clean by the end of the week (I ve broken my leg and am on crutches but have an event at my house tonight). I made the booking through the number on Point Cook Cleaners , a parent company called Fantastic Services made the booking. They called me, quoted $189 for the clean (three bedroom, one bathroom) and said the earliest they could do was 1:30pm on Saturday and that it would take approximately two hours. Needing it done, I booked it in. I received a confirmation email with the correct address and postcode soon afterwards.

On the Friday, they texted me, apologising for unforeseen circumstances and pushed the start time back to 2:30pm. I knew it would be cutting it fine, but texted y to confirm. I received another confirmation email of this change.

On Saturday at 2pm (expecting them to arrive in half an hour), I received a phone call saying that unfortunately they had to cancel. They had booked it in for one of their NSW services (not Victoria). I was furious. I asked how this mistake was made when all my details were correct on the confirmation emails. The man apologised and took responsibility for the mistake but said he could not help me.

My guests are arriving in four hours and I am trying to get everything ready whilst on crutches.

Bad clean job and worse customer service.

Sorry this is a bit lengthy, but worth the read if you re considering using their services. My advice would be to avoid this company!! They did a bad job, and their customer service was even worse!!

Let me start by being honest and state that our place has some damage from a lack of cleaning by the previous tenants, and I did not expect the cleaners to be able to fix that. What I did expect was a clean, thorough job for the services I had paid for - and this was NOT delivered on. We requested the bathroom and carpets to be the focus of the clean and if there was any extra time left, then to clean the mirrors, dust and wipe down furniture/walls. So I was HIGHLY disappointed when the job was done and the shower still had dirt marks that I could wipe off with my finger and they didn t manage to vacuum behind our easily moveable TV stand (please see pictures attached). On top of that, they failed to spot clean any walls, dust properly or actually scrub CLEAN. Areas that weren t necessarily easy to access (ie. corners of bathroom floor) or needed some effort to come clean were simply left dirty.

It get s worse from there I contacted the customer service department and let them know that I was not okay with the job that had been done. The person I contacted asked me to send pictures of the areas that were still dirty, so I agreed and sent them right away (I ve attached all pictures below). The response I got back was that the team would ve needed more time to properly clean, and offered me a $30 voucher to use on future services (their minimum fee is $140). Please understand.. I had paid for 3 hours of cleaning labour and then a steam clean of the carpets, which was not to be included in the 3 hours of cleaning. I had 3 cleaners attend my place and only cleaned for 50 minutes and then rushed out the door, and this time was INCLUDING the steam clean of the apartment. So I got 2.5 hours from them total, rather than 3 hours of cleaning plus the steam. I was insulted by their customer service when I was told that they needed more time, as they didn t even stay the full time. I tried explaining this to customer service, sent more pictures and was polite. What I got in return was a repeat answer that the cleaners needed more time; the person completely ignored my explanation that the cleaning team didn t do the job requested and didn t stay for the full allotment of time. It was unbelievably frustrating emailing back and forth with them and they never offered to fix what wasn t done properly.

I would never hire them again, and would never recommend them to anyone. Don t give these people your business unless you like wasting your money and time. They simply didn t deliver on what I paid for and wouldn t work with me to fix it.

***EDIT:

Fantastic Services asked that I amended my review, as they have refunded me some money. I'm going to be honest though - yes I did receive a refund from the company, for a portion of what I paid. Yet, it took me posting this review on numerous websites to actually get any cooperation from the company. Prior to the review I received frustrating customer service and was not getting anywhere. Once the review was posted they were much more responsive to my complaint and willing to try to fix it. I will still not use this company in the future though.

Amazing service from Ravjot and Lal. They arrived promptly on time, helped to sort out all details of the booking and did an AMAZING job on the clean, going above and beyond to help me.
They communicated throughout, calling me back to the property when they were nearly done so that I could inspect it and provided the service in such a friendly manner.

Lal and Rav were fantastic (pun intended) and did a quick and thorough job. Overall I m happy with the results. Well worth the price, which I d consider a tad on the expensive side but as I said it matches the quality of the job.

These guys cleaned with attention to detail & my ceramic & stainless items were left gleaming! Very professional & thorough service...trust them!

The guys were here to fix up the poor work of so called flat pack experts Mr Flatpack. Quite a lot of the assembly had been done incorrectly but Fantastic guys knew exactly what to do to fix the problems.
They were efficient, cheap and very nice.
I would happily use them again.

I'd want to give a 4.5 if possible because the amount I was quoted did not include paint and the time didn't account for the time it takes to purchase the paint. I assumed that, like with the other businesses I enquired with, that paint would be a given for a peeling and dented wall repair.

Nonetheless it's 5 from me because the men were professional and calmly explained the situation and didn't over charge. On top of that, despite the change of plans and an additional area I needed fixed, they managed to get everything done within 2 hours and did a great job too! They also arrived on time which was great.

Despite my complaint about the quotation, the customer service was fantastic as they did all that they could to accommodate my tight schedule!

I would recommend going with them :)

Worst customer service ever. I have used this company before in 2016 and had an amazing experience. This time around, they stuffed up my booking times, and then took my parking permit I left with them and refuse to return my phone calls. Apparently someone is "looking into this" according to Rose yet I've been waiting 5 days without any proper follow up. This has been the worst customer service I've received. Such a shame because they used to be great. I am extremely unimpressed and will never use them again.

Atrocious!!! Watch out for dodgy and unethical practices! This company does not take accountability for their poor quality contractors. They provided an estimated quote for a double story house, which they then tripled the price of when 'inspecting' and then after trying to negotiate with Fantastic Cleaners, told us the contractors were not comfortable working on a double story house. Not only having we wasted hours getting quotes, we are now in a pickle as we won't have our windows cleaned in time for an event. Fantastic Cleaners response: "Sorry for the inconvenience". Advice for Fantastic Cleaners, choose your contractors wisely as this case has ensured we will never use your company or services ever again!

I requested this company to come and fix 2 curtain...

I requested this company to come and fix 2 curtains for me. One was done fine, no problems. However the 2nd was not, in fact it was worse than it had been in the first place. When I contacted the company they said I would have to supply the damaged part and they would then come and fix it at an extra cost to me.
I had someone else come and fix it for approximately half the price, he had the appropriate spare part in his kit and it now works better than ever. Apparently the cord had also been threaded incorrectly.

Fantastic services have since contacted me and apologised that I had to get another handyman. And they would have reimbursed me but I didn't have a receipt. I am satisfied with the apology.

The oven looks fantastic- really great job. However there is a stain on our white granite bench top where something has been laid down on it (looks like an oven shelf?) that I can t remove. It looks like the cleaning material used has soaked into the bench top!!

BEWARE: Don't be surprised if you are quoted a number and have it doubled or tripled upon arrival. My technician basically extorted me as I was having a steam carpet clean before moving out by saying, you will need to pay double or I will leave. Due to being an end of lease steam clean, I had no other choice but to accept.

Not only that, I communicated with the staff initially saying there was a flight of stairs, they only sent one technician. This meant I had to risk injury by carrying heavy equipment up the stairs.

After making a complaint to customer support, they only offered 'store-credit' for this stressful experience. After detailing how poor it is that I had to risk injury over their internal miscommunication, the customer service rep on the phone said, 'what about the risk of injury for our technician?' That's the level of customer service these guys have, company orientated.

They then offered 30 dollars refund as compensation for this but that barely covers the inflated quote. I saw photos over other places this technician claims he charged double and triple for, but my carpet was not nearly as bad.
