My experience with this company has been it's drivers.
Unfortunately I think they only employ the week minded .
Every driver I've been stuck behind has taken at least 20 minutes to back into a dock of any size!
If not the best they re one of them.....real trust real money and religion.....nothing more I can say other than I wish I could still drive for them.....all the best to every1.....
As a driver and the wife of one that works for empire, they don't seem very concerned with the safety of their cargo, vehicles, or drivers. As I've seen several drivers sitting due to maintenance issues and I've heard several drivers complain on the yard as they are leaving the company.

I loved empire when my husband worked there I miss memphis and the people who worked their it's the best place to work and good people who care about you.
This company has been a good fit for my wife & I. As far as Over the road trucking goes...we are pretty happy here.

Another fine company. Top of the line, newer model trucks with APUs. All 53' dry van trailers. Hazmat license required, but they'll help you get one, if needed. Many fine drivers, good office personnel and amenities you'd expect at the Home Terminal. Though the parking lot could use some work. Secure area on President's Island.
They were extremely very good to me & my husband, very good people and company.....
Company is unprofessional and uncommunicative. (Aren t they all?!?!?) My brother and I was going to go work for them but we saw too many red flags so we went elsewhere. If you do decide to work for this company PLEASE do you research and ask the RIGHT questions in the beginning so you don t get sold a dream.
So far so good, 3 months in and looking good. All weeks are not great but if you keep that driver door close and be where you gotta be, you can make some money. The staff go out of their way to know your name not your number.
Strong family orientated company. Your not just a truck number they care about the drivers and employees why else would they increase your pay 5

Empire Express is a driver oriented company. The entire company supports and appreciates its drivers and shows that everyday. Empire Express is a family company, by that I mean everyone is family. This is the best company anyone will ever work for. I love the people.
Treated very well here as a driver, a lot of things need to be modernized though. The use of macros for everything needs to go, I sat way too much here.

Some good people here. Some not. Take your shower in front of everyone while you do laundry in 1 washer and 1 dryer. Eat your 70 hrs up and achieve 2200 miles. Gotta love Pittsburgh PA also. Many heavy loads and trucks are nice but don't have sliding 5th wheels. I worked over 18 hours the day I quit. They wouldn't let me bring my load to the yard only 10 miles away so another driver could deliver. Told me to deliver and they'd give me PC to get me to the terminal. I logged out of quallcom at 14 hours and finished my dlvry. The navigation systems are the worse. They don't even let you get truck washes occasionally.
Poor Equipment good pay but you can't make money when your broke down all the time!!!!!!
This company have big issues with insurance and safety. They made a total damage on my truck and they are ignoring to cover it. Mark is responsible person in safety of this company and he s playing really bad with this. Their driver without experience destroyed my truck at rest area in PA and they are not safe. And probably without valid insurance as well.
