Beautiful hotel equipped with everything. Polite and caring staff

Beautiful address for a trip to Barcelona, the complex is sublime and the staff to the small care, worthy of a palace, no doubt, we are in a 5 stars! The hotel is a little away from the city center but can easily be reached in 15 minutes with metro line 3 which is just 200m away. The advantage of being a little out of the way is that you will have a beautiful space with a large park, 2 huge outdoor pools and very nice that you will never have in the center of Barcelona, what really rip off a day of exploration and shopping! We had a very spacious and very well equipped room with shower, bath, iron, etc ... The breakfast was memorable, a real treat! The facilities of the hotel are really on top, the gym is huge and well equipped, the spa and the indoor pool are beautiful and super nice, go there with your eyes closed!

Maintains the level of service of other years. A good hotel for celebrations and congresses or temporary stays.

This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel...
Hmm... Who ever gave this hotel a 5 star rating, never experienced a true 5 star service.
We stayed in 5 star hotels all over EU and this one is as far from 5 star as earth is from Jupiter.
Lets see. They lie, flat out. We were told breakfast is 21 euros, it is actually 29.50. All room should be air conditioned. AC never worked in our room. When called reception, they asked us if we really need air conditioner in the room. Well, weather being 97 degree with 78% humidity...HECK YEAH WE NEED AC in the room. They gave us different room where AC was barely working. Temperature would not drip below 80 degrees in the room. So, we complained more. And this is when they got very unfriendly. Started making jokes about us being too picky. But, gave us third room. AC was working so we settled.
Next Bathrooms. The whole bathroom is big, good size. But shower room is so small that we had to get out of it, turn around and come back in in order to wash another side of the body. Horrible, just horrible. Everything in the room they charge for. A small bottle of water is 4 euros. And they tell you that AFTER the fact.
Restaurant. Extremely overpriced. Also, when go for breakfast, they insist to charge it to the room. We figured out why quickly. So, it was three of us. And one morning only two had breakfast. SO, I asked for the bill and lady goes - oh we will just charge it to the room. I insisted on getting a bill. And sure enough on the bill there is a charge for 3 breakfast meals. After calling a manager, they adjusted it but, if we did not pay attention, they would just stick it to us. Extra 29.50 euros.
And this kind of service we received all over hotel. In every area.
The only time manager became really friendly and actually apologized is when I threaten to cal my credit card and file a complain. Right after that, in a matter of minutes we received a tray with fresh fruits, a bottle of champagne and apology letter. How nice and thoughtful.
And there were few small things as well but, I do not want to mention it here.
I would NEVER stay at any Fairmont hotel anywhere in the world again.

Restaurant B.24, at Restaurant Week, is worth 25 euros

Very nice hotel. Excellent breakfast in the morning. Rooms are a bit dated but very clean.

I went with my partner to enjoy a massage and spa. And when they got there, the massage was finished in half an hour, as it would have to last 45 minutes. The spa could not be enjoyed as a couple thing that at no time did not say ... in conclusion a scam so luxury for nothing because it does not deserve a star site.

Excellent hotel located in a strategic position. Impeccable services, spacious room, king size bed for a comfortable fear. Swimming pool, relaxation area and spa at the height of the stars it has. Beautiful 25-floor interior panoramic elevator.

I got a signature corner suite for 2 night for my birthday, and while I was there a couple of friends came with a cake, so I called reception and ordered some plates and cutlery to my room. Waited for 30 min and no one came to my room, so I called reception again and was told they where on their way, which it was a lie cuz after that I waited for another 45 min before I decided to go downstairs to the pool bar just to be told very rudely by who I guess was the manager that they had their own food while giving us a look. So at the end I didn't get a birthday wish neither a 5 star service.

APPALLING. We have made a reservation in advance and upon arriving at the hotel after several hours of travel we have been sent to another distant hotel and of regular quality since the rooms were oversold. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. THEY ARE NOT SERIOUS.

We only went to dinner and the truth is that the exquisite food and the treatment was most attentive.

Luxurious atmosphere, all the details very careful, the comfortable room, with space and large and comfortable bed.

The pool area and gardens are beautiful. The A/C in the rooms was not working all that great. There is no airport shuttle and the hotel is not in a convenient location if you like to walk and explore. The metro is about a 10 minute walk away. We loved the Terrace restaurant there and it was full since there is not anywhere nearby to eat out.

A dream location for wedding banquets. It really is amazing how well organized they have these types of events. It does not give the image of express weddings at all but they are very personalized and very charming

As the definition indicates, a luxury hotel.
In the same way that I was surprised by how austere and industrial it looks on the outside, everything changes upon entering. An introverted building, with services and views towards the hall, where to find a bar and an area to have a quiet drink (if you go short of budget, look for prices before), it is a very quiet and cozy area where the employees provide a service and an exquisite treatment.
The beautifully decorated room makes you feel at home quickly and has views where you can enjoy hours of Barcelona.
The room service of 10, very efficient in cooking and very educated and professional to serve it. Also suggest to look at prices before, that although delicious, 18 a Catalan salad not everyone is willing to pay them.
We also use the spa area, as well as an exclusive and professional treatment by the workers, in a quiet and very clean environment, where you can enjoy with your family.
A different and luxurious weekend!

We went for a company convention that was held in one of their rooms, so I can't comment on the rooms.
The salon itself and the exceptional service.
In free time we were walking through the gardens and I must say that they are beautiful, there is even a large pond in the middle with a pergola and benches with a table to sit on. We loved them !!
Also the terrace bar, with music, outdoors that is in the back of the building.

Good access, good treatment of staff, but? I am a bus driver and what is not normal for them to pay for parking, for waiting for customers, while doing chekin, and waiting for them to leave, with them. They spent 2 minutes of the waiting time, and they charged me something more than 2 euros, it is not that it is a fortune, but we are going to be their clients, and it is a hotel of sufficient category for that, well in conclusion very good hotel, but I always look at these details, as a driver.
