BEST IN TOWN: We have been staying here for the last 20 years......through Four Seasons management and now Fairmont. When Fairmont took over, the manager said that he was going to learn from his employees about Four Seasons way of doing things before changing to Fairmont's and would blend the best of both. HE DID. We wouldn't stay anywhere else. By the way, I love having breakfast meetings downstairs and an occasional dinner at Shuckers.

Attached a business dinner at Shucker's at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel recently. Food was great and thankfully we had a reservation. There were a few events in Downtown Seattle that night and it was incredibly busy. Highly recommend!

We celebrated my friend's birthday at the Georgian where we decided on high tea. The tea and crumpets were delicious but the rest of the meal was okay and overpriced. The greeter was a tad strict and unfriendly while our server was accommodating. Towards the end of the meal, we had to go up front to ask for the bill. Overall, a nice atomosphere but service and food could use some improvement.

Had the most delicious and healthy breakfast of egg white omelet plus papaya cocktail - delivered on time via room service. Their Shuckers restaurant is a must try - especially the yummy clam linguine. A wonderful hotel to stay!

Love it

The Olympic is the grande dame of old Seattle. I was there for a high end, spare no expense wedding reception. It was the place for it. I've also attended a few high end corporate conferences there. The place is old, but not quite polished enough by it's current owners.

Absolutely stunning aesthetics. The rooms were beautiful. The lobby was beautiful. A few critiques: There is no parking onsite, and if you want to park, "their" garage a block away costs $40/day, so plan on that. I also had room service. It was an omelette and an English muffin. Extremely expensive. I'm also not picky about food in general, but it tasted really bad. Lastly, their events spill into the lobby, so be prepared for loud music coming in. 4 stars. If you want a beautiful room and price is no object, this hotel is the place for you. Just don't do room service.

Our favorite hotel in Seattle. The service is outstanding which is not often the case in other hotels of this caliber. Certainly a destination for family Christmas and other celebrations. Condo size Gingerbread house!

During the first 2 days of my stay, I thought nothing of this hotel, however as the days went by I noticed something different. I've stayed in many hotels in the last few years alone, but the service of this hotel was special. Their service was proactive, rather than reactive. Some examples:

- They air conditioning was set to the perfect setting. In the 7 nights I stayed here I did not have to touch these settings (a first for me in years)

- The bed and pillows were just right. I had no issue sleeping at night and I felt exceptionally comfortable.

- The cleaning staff would go the extra mile when cleaning my room. They would wrap up charger cables, steam clean the shower doors. Turn down the room in the evening. Ensure that the toilet would flush properly, if not then have someone come and check. Not once did I have to request room service, or house keeping. Absolutely awesome service.

The best trouble free stay I've had at any hotel.

I only stayed here because the company that was interviewing me for a job placed me here. It's located at the heart of downtown Seattle with a high walkability score. You can easily get to great restaurants, the Pike Place market, and Pacific Place. My hotel room was beautiful and the bed super comfortable.

The only complain I have about this place is that the bar downstairs is really expensive.

Room is recently refreshed and very clean and spacious. We appreciated the location and convenience of the hotel to the rest of Seattle proper. The club is well outfitted with a pool and gym. Wished that the parking garage was slightly better connected to the hotel, but it is only a minor complaint given the limitations of a hotel in the city. The overall decor of the hotel is on the older side with more antique style furnishings and trim. Do stop by the Georgian if you have time for afternoon tea.

Great hotel. Only there one night but the TV was great to play my Xbox on and the shower was great. I'll stay here for sure next time I'm in Seattle. Restaurant downstairs was hit or miss.

The Fairmont Olympic rooms are classy and have great modern accommodations, like headboard reading lights, nightstand charging stations, and eco-friendly flush options. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in walking distance to a lot of Seattle's attractions.
