All the staff: Doctors, nurses, CNA's, housekeeping, food services were GREAT. I was there 5 days. They saved my life.
We had 2 great similar experiences with my Mother a couple years ago.

Went in on a Friday They literally looked at my screaming crying 1yr old didn't run any tests sent her home with amoxicillin and misdiagnosed her. When i took her back The next day because she'd gotten worse, The dr cared but The guy that did her iv was fast unprofessional and ripped her skin as well as messed up the iv. The medication trmc gave made the infection worse. And my child had to be flown to MUSC and ended up being there for a week.

Worst Hospital I Ever Went Too In My Life Only Go Here If You Really Think Your Dying

This place needs ZERO stars honestly. Has to be THE WORST hospital ever as far as the EMERGENCY Department goes! Obviously it's called 'emergency' for a reason & people expect to be seen as quickly as possible! Let's not get started on the rude, aggravating, pest of a receptionist, Regina! She needs to learn her job description & learn it quickly because she believes she runs the hospital when all she's doing is pushing paper & placing wristbands on patients' wrists.

Been here well over 6 hours waiting for my grandmother to be seen & as far as she's gotten is TRIAGE & that was at around 9pm & we've been here since 6pm. It's now 2AM & she still has yet to be seen by anyone! Not to mention, once you get called back, they tend to take forever getting around to you then as well. They just need to close the entire ER at this point. Throw the whole emergency room away!

The worst!! the nurse was rude stepped in our room and said can we keep it down when we were not even talking. Now that was VERY rude. We told the nurse the TV is playing maybe that is too loud..He started arguing, i asked him to leave our room because he was not even our nurse. The service sucks. You probably get better care in a third world country..

I took my sister here because she was having chest pains. The triage nurse Missy kept texting the whole time while asking us questions. My sister literally could not breathe, she was hurting so bad. They sent her home that night. Missy had her down as "non urgent", or whatever I was told when i called to complain. The doctor was just as bad. I took her to Columbia the same night and she wound up having heart surgery 3 days later. This is why this hospital has such a bad reputation. Hire intelligent compassionate nurses and doctors who know what the hell they're doing.

Do not go to orangeburg emergency room drive somewhere else. We have been here for almost 9 hours just to make sure our unborn child is alright due to bleeding. There was a fight in the waiting room and the staff are slack. Doctors run around and take their time. If you want help go somewhere else! We will NEVER come back!!!

Went to ER due to fall in parking lot. It felt like bone was moving back and forth near my right hip area. I was examined surprisingly quickly by E.R. Dr. and X-RAY ordered. I was surprised to hear Dr. say no fractures and very skeptical. I could feel something moving as I tried to walk with a cane. The following day I went to Palmetto Baptist ER in downtown Cola. My daughter was having surgery to repair damage from missed undiagnosed fracture in middle finger knuckle. 90% loss of motion caused by damaged cartilage to her knuckle in middle finger. Needless to say no surprise when X-RAY showed fractured pelvis impinging on previous total right hip replacement and revision, from many years prior. I'm not able to give less than 1 star and include description of facts involved here. I'll never forget TRMC Releasing my Father saying no reason he should be kept but if things worsen bring him back for a follow up. After they loaded him in the car we drove to Richland memorial. The staff rushed back in after X-RAY stating this man has a broken neck! He passed away within 24hrs. I will never forget that My father's head couldn't move. His neck was fused with arthritis for more than 50yrs. I had never seen his head move around as it did when I saw them transferring him from wheelchair to my brothers vehicle during their discharge procedure. If I could give TRMC LESS THAN 1 STAR, They don't deserve any stars. They deserve to suffer the pain and heartaches that they inflict on uninformed victims of TRMC

Do not go here unless you are dying! The staff at the front desk is very unprofessional and they could care less what your situation is! The wait time to be seen by a doctor is ridiculous five, six hour wait times! The doctors here may have a degree but they are only knowledgeable about certain conditions. This is the worst place to go unless you are pregnant! If you re having contactions and think you re about to deliver nine times out of ten you re going back home! The worst place on earth award goes to, drum roll pleaseeeeeee..... TRMC OF ORANGEBURG SC. That s it folks back to regular, schedule program.

It's a good hospital but if you have to go to the emergency room just keep this in mind the place can get packed.

Worst hospital. Should be called the death hosptial. Because you will to be almost dead before they call you in the back. Front desk lady is rude. Waits are from 4-7 hours and they never tell you how long the wait is before you sign paperwork. This hospital is a sham. fxxk TRMC hope they shut down.

Went to the hospital in extreme pain literally screaming and crying but the staff didn t care one bit made me wait four hours to be seen! After that I found out I have to have emergency surgery! Moving along I had the surgery but then caught and infection called Cdiff from the hospital!! Worst experience ever! Just don t go here if you can make elsewhere!

While I have no problem with the staff who did the testing I experienced while there, the accounts receivable department is totally incompetent. If you call them be prepared for LONG waits to get to someone who has a terrible attitude. I have had multiple rounds with them and will never seek service there again. Even though I like my physician, his association with this hospital means I will seek another physician in another city.

First off i just wanna say when my friends and i came in it was an automatic 3 hour wait , mind you the RECEPTIONIST had an attitude , we get back to the back after 3 and a half hours and still sitting here. this right here is ridiculous. do not come here. btw i ve been here since 8 pm . it s currently 4:32 am

By far the worst emergency room experience I've ever had.. Came in with food poisoning - blood in my vomit and stool, disoriented, almost passed out as I went to the waiting area. They told me I had to sit up in a seat, which caused me to vomit continuously, and the receptionist was extremely nasty about it. About an hour in I was taken in to draw blood and pee in a cup. They took that and had me register. We then proceeded to wait for 4+ hours as I ran back and forth between the bathroom and my seat, spent more time on the bathroom floor to be honest. Watched many people come and go that came after us, despite looking to be in fine condition. Asked the receptionist if we were coming up anytime soon and she said "I can't give you a time or where you are on the list" rudely.. Finally couldn't stand sitting anymore and we left.. Still sick now the next day..

Worst experience of my life. I'd rather take a chance and drive to Columbia before I ever step foot in this hospital again. Truly rather die at home.
Came in with chest pain. Well known cardiac history of a murmur. Sat in the lobby for an hour waiting to be seen.
Called back and was integrated about the address on my drivers license, the spelling of my middle name, and why I was in Orangeburg.
Seriously she asked me if the DMV spelled my middle name correctly because she's never seen it. Keep in my heart rate is at 144 sitting still.
Finally got in a room, the Dr rolled over on a chair. Didn't even bother to walk into my room, dude rolled over. Listened to my heart and said "I don't hear anything wrong".
Oh it got worse. To much to type.....

I visited this hospital today because my wife had a VA required testing. During COVID-19 process the hospital is very difficult to do normal stuff, but today I was granted bathroom visitor access. I thanked them after I took the temp test and gave my wife department information. I take a water pill and waiting for long periods is difficult. Today was a great Agent working at the front visiting desk. Also the 1st floor bathroom was very clean and stocked.

The people here are very unprofessional and rude. Idk if theyre over worked or what but theyre terrible. They treated my gf as if she was exaggerating her chest pains in the waiting room. When she finally went to the back she was actually having a heart attack and had to be flown to columbia!!!! No empathy, the nurses are rude too. Its rediculous the attitudes and rudeness i deal with when i have to call up there.

My brother was there for 13 days for rehab and received the worst care imaginable. When the discharged him he was so dehydrated and I'll he came home at 6 and passed out the next morning and had to be rushed to Lexington med center. You have a better chance of survival going to your local veterinarian than there

This is the worse hospital I know my girlfriend was having a miscarriage we literally waited a hour!!

They didn t help my cousin at all. All they did was go to his room and kept asking him how was he feeling.

Worst hospital I ve ever been to, I got here at midnight and there was 6 people in waiting room 3 hours later same 6 people are still in waiting room. The waiting room is ice cold and staff is rude. When asked about a eta was told we will see you when we call you

ER dept. is garbage. Arrived with chest pains and numbness on my right side. Waited in the er for 11 hours. Finally called back. Now another 3 hours waiting in er room. Seen the Dr once.

I was having chest pain and the triage took care of me and was concerned about my well being.. thank you guys so much for being so awsome ..

No decent patient service (with an exception of a select few within rotation). Wait time is always at an all time high. Currently waiting (as of now 7 hours) for a possible broken or fractured appendage injured by falling object puncturing through thumb nail. When requesting info or just a simple update hours after the last check in certain patient service representatives become flustered and short winded. Waaaaaaaaaay too much attitude for people who are simply in pain and in need unfortunately. Honestly this place hasn t had a bad rep since my childhood days and quite possibly even before then. Stay away!!!

This place scares me. From what I witnessed and experienced it's a broken place, and has been broken so long they just don't care anymore. Nurses so loud HIPPA laws are broken. ( Still curious as to what happened to that little girl that another facility had to call and reem them out for failing her. Hope she is ok) My own family, 3 of us all misdiagnosed with a minor cold when it was in fact pnumonia, bronchitis and a major ear infection. Then again when I had major chest pain with rapid heart beat they release me saying I'm fine. No monitoring of my heart, yes, blood was taken, EKG and a x-ray.. But for what other medical staff are sure it is (out of state or I'd be there), those are not the best way to see what it is. Hey doc.. cardio MRI, cardio Ct, ultrasound and echo work much better. Also releasing a person with a resting heart rate of 117( I checked it myself,and yes I know how, they did once when I got there 111) is just bad medical practice. If a person with tricardia is released, and something happens heart related they can sue the hospital, and the staff that signed the discharge papers. Please if it's a serious health condition, go somewhere else if you can. To them your a number, you and your family deserve far better.

I started working at tRMC a little over a year ago. I was aware that they had a poor reputation in the community, so I was concerned that the quality of care in my department, (surgery), would be lacking. In the time I have been here, I have been both surprised and pleased at the expertise of both the surgeons and staff. They are a very caring and dedicated group, working with state-of-the-art equipment, doing both basic and advanced procedures. I would not hesitate to have surgery here, and would recommend our surgeons to both family and friends. I hope that with time and consistent good service, tRMC's reputation will improve and they will get the good press they deserve.

Do not go to this hospital or take your loved one if you want them to live. They do not have to proper expertise and do not care about what happens to you or your well being. Dr. Michael Hill is especially rude and does not care about his patients. My father passed away in his care and he was a complete jerk. I do not think he should be in the medical profession at all.

I hate the leave bad reviews but as a local there is a reason we call it the death hospital. In less than 2 months had 2 family members there my wife's grandmother and my brother. Told the grandmother she had GERD when it was a leaky heart valve( thank God my wife is a nurse and was in scrubs, she read them the EKG, Yes she had to read it for them including the er doctor) brother was in a near fatal car crash told him only had a fractured bone in his leg (turns out had multiple broken and fractured bones amount other issues) the best thing that could happen to this place is have it shut down and taken over by a good hospital like Richland. I wouldn't wish this place on my worse enemy.

horrible, theres been many times where I would go and literally be in the waiting room for 4-6 hours and I'm not exaggerating then I would wait in the room for about another hour or 2, many times where it was important, and have been wrong about things to do with my heart and gallbladder, deserves 0 starts tbh

All the staff I came across while my grandson was a patient there were friendly, caring and professional. I appreciate all they did for my grandson and us, his family while we were there.

I ve been waiting for 4hrs just to get seen for severe abdominal and back pain. I am visiting from out of state and at home the average wait is 30-45 minutes. Not to mention I waited for about 5-7mins just to sign in because the receptionist where in deep personal conversation with each other and a patient.

I am a current patient on the fourth floor at Regional Medical Center and I ll tell you that every single star given by me is mainly because of one nurse in particular. Robert has not only greatly done his duties as a medical professional but has also been someone I was able to open up to during this very rough time I m going through. I appreciate everything he has done for me. Robert has made my stay comfortable here. If not for him I would have checked out a couple days ago. Other then him this place is not worthy of any stars.

Don t bother applying unless you are black. They won t even pass your resume through to any department. HR is so racist it s insane. The HR Director is the most racist of all. She will be the downfall of this hospital

Mom's doctor sent her to the ER so she could be admitted. She arrived before 4 PM and we might get a room before the night is out.. its now 7:50 and we have to wait for an available bed. I guess they are waiting on someone to die???? Such a badly run facility

The worst Hospital To be in I whent to the ER Doctor treated me like I was A Druggy and then found out I had Fluids in my liver admitted me to the hoapital then the following day the surgeon came in With A very nasty attitude towards me and my wife and aaid that having this diagnose of fluids in my live is not A big deal and then aent me gome and ever since still feeling horrible. Thabk alot ya bunch off scum bags

Quick and inexpensive

Dirty bathrooms. Rude staff. No communication. Lack of organization. Staff playing on their phones while patients were requesting help. Terrible service.

Sometimes we as the patient, parent or friend don't always know or understand what's going on with our love ones when they are sick and in the hospital but it's nice to have doctors, nurses and staff listen, understand and answer your questions. I thank God for the staff at Orangeburg hospital for taking good care of my son when he got bitten by a rattlesnake. They were very caring and concern. Thank you for all you did and do.

Everytime i have to go here something goes wrong. This last time after having surgery they have refused to give me water ive asked for pain pills and have been caused emotional stress.

Went to ER after 3 days of chest pain. Receptionist got a nurse to come immediately. Nurse rolled her eyes at me and did not help me into wheel chair. (Already disabled from spine problems.) After 5 seconds on ekg she opened door screamed he needs a room . This entire hospital is hit and miss with Nurses and doctors as far as respect is concerned. Once the Cardiologist arrived an hour later things got done. Before this, it seemed it was cross our fingers and hope he not will die on us. Many folks working here seem to be jaded..

Had dissolvable stiches Put in my toe by a physicians associate 4 dam weeks ago in the ER,STICHES ARE STILL THERE !! Plus was in ER waiting room recently for my mother ,for 12 hours nobody cleaned nothing(chairs,floors,etc)no wonder covid case are high!

Please Run out this place unless u are prepare to stay night better have full stomach,charged phone,and not in much pain because the wait is horrible and the bill is ridiculous The wait is 5 hours - 10

The worst place to go to for medical care. Reason- when I was in a car accident being hit. I came here to the emergency room for care. I waited for hours to see a doctor and when the person showed up, it was actually a physician assistant. This person did not request for me to remove my leather coat at the time to examine me. I thought it was very odd and careless. He assumed I had only soft tissue injuries. No x-ray or anything. I was in pain. Good thing I went else where for treatment. These so called clinicians could care less about you here. They are the WORST. AVOID THIS HOSPITAL AT ALL COST. Such a shame!

My father was in an accident and required treatment by the ER staff and physician. The care was excellent,staff professional and physician exceptional. I feel blessed for him to have received treatment at this medical center. Kathryn Herndon MD Gainesville GA

If I could rate this hospital 0 stars I would. I have been here on 5 separate occasions and each time I was in the emergency room well over 8 hrs. It's honestly ridiculous how slow they are and it's clear how much they don't care at all about their patients.

The absolute worst hospital. I highly recommend that if you are in the area and need medical attention to go to Columbia/Lexington hospitals. The staff is completely lazy. You will get horrible help. They love to shove patients in and out quickly. If you are old, just give up on getting the attention you need. If you have questions, be prepared for a scavenger hunt for answers. It was smart for them to set their Facebook to a non review setting. Praying I never get sick in the area. And I completely appreciate the way they treated my grandmother. We will take her to Lexington from now on.

The WORSE HOSPITAL in America! You should never have to wait 6 hours before seeing someone. I understand we in the middle of a pandemic but you would think they would have a system by now.

I went here because it was close to my school despite the negative reviews. I went here because my lymph nodes were swelling every time I ate or drank something which was extremely painful. And yes I have insurance. My friend from school took me and we went to the back room and sat there for close to 30mins before a doctor even came in to see me. I was instructed to get into a gown (for an issue dealing with my throat???) I should have known then that was an extreme red flag but I did it anyway besides he's the doctor right? WRONG when he got in there he was chewing on peanuts (very unprofessional) because I could have been allergic luckily I wasn't. He just looked in my mouth and prescribed me antibiotics. I ended up owing them $300 for that service. Of course I received a second opinion and I ended up having a blockage in my salivary gland...I wouldn't suggest going here.

I wish I could give it negative stars. They mis-filed my insurance, waited 2.5 years, and turned it over to SCDOR WITHOUT contacting or billing me. I had 2 -TWO- valid health insurance policies at the time and there should not have been a several thousand dollar bill for 4 stitches! They are completely incompetent.

My grandmoma Ernestine Dowling Went to TRMC after leaving Urgent Care in Bamberg with orders for an ultra sound on Dec. 24, 2016 Possible Blood Clot in right calf. TRMC refused to do it. It was a holiday weekend and people were off. I feel sure there was someone on call. I got my papers and went straight to Richland Memorial. They did it with no hesitation. They said they do not turn down any test on any day. The Doctor that ordered the test was at Urgent Care in Bamberg, which is part of TRMC . Thank God he had compassion on a holiday weekend. Not impressed. My 1st hospital visit in SC (as a patient in the ER). I was told.to see my Family dr or goto the ER. ER told me to follow up with specialist on Mon AM, AFTER I'd spent 5+ hours there. They didnt help me except to treat a symptom & send me on my way.

Was in the ER in extreme pain for 5 hours. I could have gotten treated in Charleston and come back in a decent amount of time

No stars. They're slow and racist. Don't go here. Go to Walterboro or Summerville for a hospital.

My brother had surgery on his colon on Monday died on Sunday throwing up bowels dr did nothing to help him the dr name was The Butcher I didn't know this before !Also dr was counseling family on what he thought w as going on he continually groped himself in my sister in law very unprofessional and continues. To practice at at this tend REALLY

My wife was here for a month. The entire time that she was there, we never saw or spoke to the doctor. When I asked to speak with her doctor, the nurse took my phone number and said he would call me. When he finally called me back, all he could do is give me the run around. It was like all he could do was make a guess as to what was going on with my wife. To make a long story short the doctor made a accusation that I threatened to shoot him. Do not go here if you want something done right. We were able to get her seen by another doctor who was able to get her on the right medicine. If she had stayed in Orangeburg, she would still be in the same condition. All the doctors seem to get their medical licence from a cracker jack box.

On July 1,2017 my husband was admitted through the ER with a ruptured appendix. Being that it was late in the evening the on call surgical staff was called in and it seemed like no time at all before he was being wheeled away for pre-op. Once he hit the operating table his heart rate jumped to over 200bpm and a cardiologist was called. Once he was stableized they proceeded with surgery saving his life. He had to spend 6 days in the Corinary Care Unit and if it wasn't for the kindness and compassion of the nursing, all the staff actually, he would have been able to stay positive to make the strong recovery he did. We will always be thankful to all of the amazing people who work here.

They don t do one on one care. And when a question is asked it is automatically rejected. When you ask for the dr that did help they will give you a million reasons why you can see that dr. This place is the biggest joke. I need to find a way to a different facility next time.

Horrible staff. Some were nice but they hardly would check up on the patient!! They were very late with scheduled breathing treatments. Very slow getting people in and out. And very quite dumb. Did not see the actual doctor maybe one time.

This is the worst hospital in the entire state of SC...it doesn't even deserve a star rating..beem sitting in the ER with my mom over three hours with stroke symptoms sent directly from her dialysis center and still have not been in the back to see a doctor...they'll let you die before they treat you....do not come to this facility if you have another choice.

I am currently pregnant and bleeding.... I have already been there for 2 hours and only been to triage. They told me that 7 people are ahead of me and they only are more priority bc they have been there longer.... I'm sorry but I may be having a MISCARRIAGE!! I will not go back to Orangeburg even if I was dying!!

This place is awful! The staff doesn't care and the doctors are even worse. Avoid this place if you can!

The wrost hospital I have every seen. The staff on the floors were the worst. Sitting around the nursing station and laughing while you are trying to get a blankets to get warm. For got you were there. Not bring you breakfast or lunch. Had to get up and ask the lady with food cart for food. If you are sick don't go there.

DO NOT GO HERE! my husband and I sat in the waiting room 6 hours before he even got checked into the computer! We were there a total of 9 hours! I repeat drive somewhere else. The doctor gave him meds that he has had awful side effects too when I called up there to see about maybe changing or getting something done he was extremely Rude and unprofessional. That's alright I rather make the drive to Lexington from now on.

Just go somewhere else!!!! They are the worst... If you're trying to live, just ride right pass this horrible place. The receptionist, I'm not even going to start on her!!!

I arrived at this hospital at 1:34 pm and was bounced around from triage(3 times) and registry for 4 hours until I even got to see a doctor. After getting into my room, it was another hour and 2 different nurses taking vitals before I even saw a doctor. Dr. Kimsey actually was very nice, and seemed to honestly want to figure out what was wrong with me and stayed overtime to tend to me. But sadly I was still there 3 hours after he had clocked out, after I had gotten my lab results in on blood and urine. So I had to wait another hour for the nurses to decide to actually give me the iodine drink for a CT scan, wait another hour for my body to digest it, then 45 minutes to actually get the CT scan done. It was another 3 hours to get my results and be discharged. I didn't get home until after 2am the following morning. Oh and did I mention the entire time I was there 98% of the staff were either rude, disrespectful, arrogant, or accusing me of shooting up because I had a scratch on my arm from changing my rats bedding. I had asked a few times while waiting for my CT scan results that were only supposed to take 20-30 minutes tops to be reviewed, how much longer till my results were viewed. Each time, 20-30 minutes. After 2-3 times of me asking over a 3 hour period, a security officer had came to my room and informed me that if I were to leave my room again he'd be forced to remove me from the premises. Needless to say, the nickname that has been given to this hospital by MANY, the "Death Hospital" is 100% accurate in my opinion and if I had the choice of either dying a slow and painful death and going to this hospital, my fiance would be ordering a casket. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL!!!!

If i could rate half of a half of a star I would. They do absolutely nothing for pain but tell u what to go buy. . I should flip every chair on my way out. Most deff the death hospital. You should never leave in the same pain you came in.

Terrible! Went and had blood work done here for school. Drove 2 hrs because this is where the school recommended because of the price. They said the results would be mailed to me in 2-3 business days. 2 weeks has passed and I still haven't received them. Have been calling and they have been giving me the run around for 2 days! Said they were faxing them and I still haven t received them! Absolutely WOULD NOT recommend!

We are from Wisconsin and were on a family road trip. We had to stop for an emergency with my daughter. I found that everyone there I talked to was caring and wonderful! The team was great! Thank you again!

Was told that my kids could see my dying grandmother, got there and they told us we couldn t so now I m dealing with 3 children crying and really upset because they can t see their dying Gigi With that being said already explained to my kids that this would be her last thanksgiving

I am absolutely amazed when I saw the other reviews. The nurse we had could not have been more wonderful, super attentive and sweet. The ladies at the front desk went as far as to help us with a personal issue that was above and beyond their duty. Just cannot say enough about how good a horrible experience was.

I've always heard, "go here if you want to die". I went to visit a family member and noticed dried feces on his bed rails. I'll be contacting the state as well as Joint Commission. This place needs new ownership.

This is the worst hospital ever I went there and it was very dirty and the staff is horrible this place needs to be closed my friend came in with heart pain and the ladies gave her nothing but attitude

Are there standards in this hospital? Transport your love ones down the road ( another hospital) if possible. In halls , in BA -hospital is dirty visibly so wonder what you can t see ?

The elevators have scared me a few times. By now I hope they have done something about that.

The Phone service is what concerns me at the moment. I called to see if some one was on schedule for a procedure. It seems like a simple matter to me however I have been on hold for 40 minutes. That seem an extraordinary long time to look at records on the computer. The network must be down, right? they are doing it with paper shuffle and want to check the latest registration. My phone battery would be dead by now if I did not leave it plugged in. Thank goodness I have unlimited, right. You suppose they are waiting for a shift change so some one else picks up the heat?

I am reminded of the time I was to pick up a patient. They told me to pull to the front. There were 2 cars in front when I pulled up. Rather than blocking the door in case another patient should come out first I held back a little. No one came to the door but only blinked at the front and did not see me. So half an hour I waited. They finally called my cell phone to say I was not there. Guess I was on mars or moon? I consider myself a pretty patient person. Maybe I carry it to far some times. I have been in military service yes there is a bit of waiting there.

Oh did I say I like the cafeteria? I do. I have found the staff there courteous kind and helpful.

Trmc orangeburg hospital is the worst! Bad patient care, emergency room care is never good, wait was absolutely too long. Then when you ask how much longer they talk to you very bad and don't care how much pain some ones in! They need to get a whole new staff!!!

I don't have insurance and visited the Bamberg Urgent Care and was hugely overcharged for very simple routine tests. I was billed a whopping $294 for a test Medicare will pay $11.72, $93 for a test Medicare will pay $16.36, and $104 for a test Medicare will pay $29. Of course the doctor was separate, for perhaps 5 minutes of face time with the doctor, I was expected to pay $194, medicare would pay $102. But to top it all off I am expected to pay a facility charge of $237, which as far as I can tell is a number untethered to any direct cost or service. I can't endorse this gross overcharging of self pay patients when they are prepared to accept an order of magnitude less from insured patients and their carriers.

Terrible service. Rude staff. Only 2 nurses that were kind and even appoligetic. My daughter was bitten by an unknown spider multiple times. Her foot is swollen. And changing colors. She can barley walk. We waited 6 hours. Had to leave bc there were still 8 people agead of us. Her benadryl wore off and the swelling got worse. I asked if they could give her a better antihistamine, and they said no bc she wasnt seen by a dr. I get it, but if it were life threatening, she would have never been seen. This is the worst hospital. From now on, I'll be driving an hour to the hospital in Columbia. At least they care about the childrens health.....

If I could give a zero I would. It is by far the WORST hospital to go to. The nurse who triaged my husband was my most rude and ignorant person I've ever met. My husband went in for sickle cell crisis pain and she told him "I'm taking blood because I know how people like you are. People like you are only here for the pain meds" if I wasn't with my kids I would have went off on her. The overlooked pneumonia in his right lung and never gave him any fluids with is mandatory with sickle cell and since he was severely dehydrated. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy go to this hospital because they most likely will die before ever getting any real treatment... Well if you're white you might have a chance.

The lack of bedside manners is insane. Seems like the doctors dont care for patients they want in and out of room. The rooms have trash on the floor. There was blood on bathroom floor, the lock to the bathroom door was broken. Never again will I go here.
