Great amenities, friendly staff, nice rooms. But there is a noise from swimming pool equipment - we stayed on 10th floor but still heard constant vibration noise. If your sleep is sensitive you may not like it.

Great hotel, beautiful old time architecture with the building nearing its centennial. Room is spacious and lavish, comfortable bedding and possibly my favourite concierge ever, saving us this morning from a terrible situation by finding my wife a hair appointment last minute!
Only real downside is that while the location is central, walking is downhill all ways, so after shopping or visiting pike place it's ALL uphill! Still, solid recommendation!

For that kind of money they need to get it together!! The person I stayed with had a last name I couldn't pronounce so when calling to room they barely put call through,. They brought us ceasar salads I believe they were supposed to be, well I would never have served a guest there version of a ceasar salads especially with the choice of lettuce, my lettuce was extremely light in color my friends was dark green very nice looking.. I did like the room just wish it was on higher floor but my friend doesn't like high rooms for whatever weird reason.

Unbelievable hotel and amenities, especially the spa. Rught in the heart of downtown Seattle. Not even 10 minutes from Pikes Market and plenty of dinner options even closer than that. The bar, restaurants, and shops attached we're great too. Don't know if I would've stayed if work wasn't paying for it though, it's pretty expensive (especially room service but the cake was worth it after you visit the famous Seattle plant shops)

Comfortable room.and good service. The line for bfast can be long so you can either book or go early. It looks old fashioned as it is an historic building but rooms are more modern.

A very good hotel in a terrific location. We had a nice view and everything we wanted was easily accessible. The room was spacious and properly furnished. I wish it was a little bit cheaper though, specially the in room dining which is super expensive.

This is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. Being in the heart of Seattle, I was able to walk to Pike's market and shopping centers while my husband was here on business. The staff was beyond accommodating and the room was updated and clean. Loved this experience! We will be recommending this hotel to all of my husbands co-workers and will be booking rooms when we come back into town for travel!

Grand old hotel that can use updating. Interior decor and amenities are obviously dated. Lobby bar is laid back and relatively quiet, but options are limited. Centrally located and close to the convention center.

The Fairmont Olympic, like all the Fairmont hotels, is top-drawer. The hotel is beautiful, with well-appointed rooms and a friendly, attentive staff. My wife and I were on our fifty-first wedding anniversary trip and the staff noted this and gave us their good wishes. One can easily relax in hotel such as the Fairmont Olympic.

I stayed in a suite and really enjoyed my stay. I called at 11 28 to order food and they accommodated me and let me order dishes from the extensive regular menu (there is only a small list of dishes available from 11 30 onwards). The food came pretty quickly as well.

A very nice dinner experience! The Fairmont wasn't our intented place for dinner, but something caught our eye. From the Hostess to the waitstaff, all were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious! We had never been to the neighborhood, but would come back again.

For the great rate in downtown Seattle this was a good hotel. Gym was above average and all staff that we encountered were friendly. Would recommend. Fairmont always does a good job if they know you are celebrating a special occasion.

Place is good but costly, they don't provide any welcome drink etc and won't even tell you that every thing placed there is chargeable.
Even water has a cost of $8. So before using anything confirm from operator first.

I stayed here for two nights, for a business meeting. The room was comfortable and most things worked. The sink stopper did not; did not even come close. Of course, one can live with that. Wireless worked in the room, but in the meeting room it was a constant problem because whichever network one entered, one was quickly thrown off by one of their other networks - very cumbersome. The breakfast and lunch during the meeting were OK, but only OK. This hotel is very expensive; it should have been better.

Shuckers is ALWAYS AMAZING! From the the Hostess podium to the fine dining waiters (we love you Steve) to a manager just checking in personally and unobtrusively at your table to see how you're doing. I recommend this restaurant all of the time to our global office employees and guests and they have each given glowing comments. And the wood...

Great hotel! Holiday decorations throughout the hotel were beautiful. Reception was easy and very accommodating. Room was beautiful. Took me a while to figure out how to turn the lights on but the reading lamps and USB ports on the bedside tables were a nice find. We spent the evening downtown for my birthday and came back to the room to find a surprise from reception. I'd definitely stay here again.

Attended a wedding. Excellent service by the wait staff. My glasses were refilled before I finished drinking them. Tables were cleared right away. Everyone extremely polite and friendly. Beautiful atmosphere. Definitely deserves its 5 star rating. Parking is difficult if not staying in a room there, but that's typical for downtown Seattle. Restrooms were sparkling clean, and even offered actual tiny hand towels. Lovely.

Went to the Fairmont to attend a professional conference. The facility was beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful, and everything was managed well. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the rooms as I didn't stay overnight.

Didn't have the opportunity to stay at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel this holiday season but I did get an opportunity to visit the Olympic Hotel which offered some great sightseeing opportunities this holiday season along with other years in the past but I would definitely encourage folks to go check out this hotel it has two great little sites for the family and anyone who's in the Christmas spirit first when you come in the hotel you're going to see the world's largest gingerbread house it's made with tons of real gingerbread hundreds of pounds of real sugar it's awesome check it out just make sure your kids don't lick on the display it's kind of gross I already saw at least 12 kids doing it while I was there once you go to the second floor of the Fairmont Olympic Hotel you'll also be in for a treat they have the teddy bear Suite which is a sweet that is open for people to peruse and there are tons of teddy bears it's beautiful it's bright it's white it's holiday all wrapped up in one beautiful teddy bear Suite check it out you got to see it if you haven't already definitely a fun little outing for the night family kids couples good stuff check it out

Incredible service and friendly staff but like pretty much all hotels from this company, hotel was a bit outdated and rooms could be better. It seems like this company buys old buildings for cheap and just Fixes them up without a proper remodel. Room had old air conditioning units that were noisy.

Food was underwhelming and over priced. The bar at the hotel was borderline highway robbery and the food did not live up to the price.

For the money there are better options in Seattle. This place not worth the money.

This is a beautiful, classic and classy turn of the century hotel right in the heart of downtown Seattle and often rooms are available at very reasonable rates. Our most recent visit was to view the collection of Christmas trees that are decorated throughout their lobby and lower level then auctioned for charity... An annual tradition to see them and the Gingerbread Houses at the Sheraton; along with enjoying their great brunch at the beautiful Georgian Room.
