We enjoyed our stay, but the last day of our stay, I noticed a rash on my torso and my doctor said it looked like bed bugs. I called the hotel to report it and they just said sorry and hung up.

Beautiful hotel, great location, surprisingly quiet considering the downtown location. Staff seem a little unsure - was shown three different rooms before they finally got it right (as per my reservation) when I stayed here in July. Expensive but the amenities and comfort level are also high.

My husband and I loved this hotel! From the welcoming service to the well appointed room, every aspect was exceptional.

We ate at one of the restaurants, Shuckers, was crazy good! OMG! They had the best crab mac n cheese Ive ever had, so creamy with large chunks of crab meat, the best! They also made excellent cocktails and had a great wine list.

The hotel is pricy but the value was in the service and room quality. Just perfect!

Clean, updated, safe, and a location close (walking distance) to major attractions. This hotel definitely falls in the upscale category, and customer service is top-notch. More expensive than most as you might expect, but for a special occasion it's a great place to stay. Also, my bed was very comfortable. You'll get a good night's sleep here.

Lovely hotel. Beautiful grand lobby and easy walk to Pike Place. Room service was quick and professional. Room had a view of the market and incoming cruise ships on the water. Definitely worth the price for a central location with a beautiful interior and old money feel.

We attended a wedding with ceremony, cocktails, and dinner happening in three different rooms. All three rooms were beautiful. Dinner was well organized with several delicious choices. The decor around the hotel was very beautiful.

Went there for afternoon tea. Service is good and they are very accommodating with food allergies. The room is beautiful, with high ceilings. Tables are far apart from one another so good privacy. The teas are excellent, my favorite was their Earl grey, had a slight hint of vanilla. The scones were so good! Each person got 4. Unfortunately their tea sandwiches and sweets were bad. Bread was dry, not freshly made. Sweets were too sweet and didn't taste fresh either. Parking expensive. Find street parking or park at Pike Place Garage, about 2-3 blocks away.

I flew in early that morning and they accommodated an early check-in. The room was beautifully decorated and I had a nice view of the city from my window. In-room dining was awesome and the food amazing. I love my stay and would definitely return!

My company held its holiday party here and it was my first time in this historic building. So beautiful, and what an amazing place to hold a corporate event! Centrally located in downtown Seattle, it has sweeping views of the skyline from large windows in the main ballroom. The food was very good, and the service was spot on. Our company event felt very special thanks to this place.

We had a wonderful time at the Fairmont for my 30th b-day. They called us to let us know that our room was ready early, and upgraded our room when the TV was slow in the previous room. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy! All the staff members are helpful and friendly! Loved my experience here!

Very luxurious property. We enjoyed our stay every much. Rooms spacious. Unique 2 seater lounges for breakfast in glorious dinning room. Breakfast buffet selection was limited for hotel of of this calibre. Was slight annoyance was our booking was made through hotel own website but there was a name error, this was not fixed even at checkout.

They were absolutely amazing through the whole experience. Great access to the city by foot, and a truly professional staff. Erin at the front desk was great and accommodating when our room wasn't quite ready.

The Fairmont is an awesome hotel! I'm always impressed with their level of service and the minor details in the small amenities they provide. The honors gym and pool are incredible and the staff has never disappointed me.

By far the best experience I had at a hotel. Chocolate Strawberries were sweet and tasty. Internet fast and reliable eith a protected password. Hotel style felt extravagant for a downtown hotel but also techonologically up to date with outlets and usb access within the furniture and arms reach. Staff very welcoming and knowledgeable of downtown. Key cards were tap unlike the usual swipe cards. The tap technique made accessing the room and elevator very easy.

This is a very nice old school hotel. The service is great. The rooms are elegant and clean. The location is very convenient. The breakfast is, meh. I have stayed in a lot of hotels around the world. The breakfast here is not up to a 5 Star hotel or even a 4 star. The fruit consisted of cheap melon. You could get berries but in tiny cups and they were not good quality. The buffet scrambled eggs were runny, the sausages cheap and cold. The oatmeal is not kept warm. If you buy the breakfast package, watch out. If you want an omelet, that is not covered. It's $16 more plus tax and tip. Most hotels at this level include a made to order breakfast bar in the price. Not this one.

Loved my stay here. Came for PAX convention. The staff were friendly and made minor banter regarding our enjoyment at the convention. They even upgraded my room to a corner suite. Great experience here.

A very good hotel in the perfect location. I had a nice view and everything I wanted was easily accessible. The room was spacious and properly furnished. I wish it was a little bit cheaper though, specially the in room dining which is super expensive. I also especially loved the lobby. It is simply gorgeous and takes my breath away.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in December. The room was cozy, clean and pretty. The bathroom was beautiful and spacious. We walked to nearby shops and enjoyed downtown Seattle holiday decorations. We wanted a great seafood dinner and had to look no further than the hotel's restaurant--Shuckers. We had Black Cod and Steelhead. Both were cooked to perfection. After dinner we wondered around the lobby to enjoy the large, wonderfully decorated Christmas trees and live music. I had a fantastic workout in the well-equipped fitness center, which featured several treadmills and other cardio machines, a weight room and a inviting pool. There was also complimentary fresh fruit and hot tea. The hotel is perfect for an adventurous getaway to Seattle even if you bring the kids.

Very upscale and elegant hotel. The PSAV staff really helps makes presentations for business meetings, weddings, etc really pop and the audio and visuals are fantastic. Everyone here wears a suit and tie which can be a little intimidating.

Comfortable room. Cleaning services were a bit confusing though. They threw away all the water I boiled in the kettle which I reserved to drink at night. Shower bottles and Kleenex weren't refilled when they were out. Otherwise overall it was a pleasant stay.

Beautiful historic downtown hotel. I was there on business and staff was great. Could use some sort of valet racks in bedrooms as the closet is through the living room and into the hall... Will be back.

2020 - another amazing visit. We are renovating and stayed here for a kids birthday! The staff pays attention to everything, left swim goggles and adorable bathrobes for the kids. Home away from
Home. Thanks for the much needed hospitality.

Great service, classy from start to end. Amazing breakfast. Like the use of technology to check in after arrival. Love the coffee and tea selection there too. Thanks for making every stay super comfy and enjoyable. Indoor pool is definitely a unique amenity

I really wanted to give the Fairmont 5 stars, but they would have to have been close to flawless. They weren't. The flaws were minor, but irritating. When we arrived late at night , the doorman had our keys. In theory this is a great idea. But when we got to the elevator, the keys, needed to get to our floor didn't work. This required a trip to the front desk after all. The other irritating issue was that I wanted to use the room service hangtag to order breakfast. I used the last one the 1st day and it wasn't replaced. Ok, no problem. When I get a text that evening from the front desk asking if I need anything I tell them about the hangtag. I get a reply that they will send replacements up soon. Great I think. But a couple of hours pass and they don't show up. I give up, tell them to slide them under the door because I don't want to be awakened, and go to bed. It's not a major problem, but also not what I expected.

As with most Fairmont properties, the Olympic hotel is historic, built in 1924. Since my last stay, the rooms have been renovated and are absolutely gorgeous! Friendly staff, great amenities and centrally located, you can't go wrong with a stay here. The only minor downside is the overnight parking isn't directly connected to the hotel. Had a wonderful stay with the family, highly recommended.
