Without a doubt the best hotel that I have ever stayed in. Excellent rooms, location and views. The staff is amazing, ready to assist you with anything, anytime.

The pool, gym and spa area is fantastic. Especially during the mornings when there arent a lot of people. Very clean.

6/5 stars from me!

My daughter recently got a job a jpl. The natural beauty of this setting is unparalleled. We had a dinner of various appetizers, dessets and drinks. The service was great, and the food was excellent! We even had our dog with us, and it wasn't really a problem. We just had to change tables.

Wonderful, comforting hotel. Whenever we visit we just want to hang out in the common lodge the whole time and hate to leave. The outdoor pool and hot tub are exceptional, even when it's -30C.

If I could choose only one place to return for a vacation - the Fairmont at Jasper Park Lodge would be my first choice! All of Alberta, Canada is exceptional, but Jasper is hands down my favorite spot! The Jasper Park Lodge is heaven on earth!

Jasper Park Lodge is incredibly expensive but absolutely beautiful. The grounds are stunning and everything is immaculate. The rooms are rustic and somewhat old fashioned but that's part of the charm. The lounge and restaurants offer an amazing array of exquisite dishes and drinks although again almost unreasonably priced. If you can afford it Jasper Park Lodge is a delight to stay at but even if you can't, the grounds are well worth a visit.

Stayed in the lakefront suites, pet friendly. Very nice size, access to the lake, REAL fire place. Parking was not great, dirty outside the room(dirty diapers on the lawn), and we got the room because it has a fireplace and jacuzzi. The jacuzzi is old and too small for one small woman to fit in comfortably . The pet package is above par. Access on the floor level to outside is also very convenient with a pet.

Check in was late and we didn t get our room until 600pm. Finally when we checked in we were given the wrong room and after sorting it out it was 630. Finally after getting to our room the air conditioner was broken and it was blowing hot air to where our room was over 30C. 7pm before we finally had a room and we were there right at the 5pm (later than usual) check in time.

Also long waits to get into the pool and the bot house. We were forced to pay for a canoe since the paddle boards were rented out even if the paddle board was included. The pool we spent a total of 2 and a half hours of our stay waiting in line.

The Jasper Park Lodge had a very nice main lodge. The cabins were nice but could've used some help from air conditioning. We had to sleep with the window open to stay cooler. The views from the property are amazing. It was a great place to stay to see wildlife as well.

I m a big Fairmont fan, but this is easily the worst Fairmont I ve ever stayed at. The surroundings don t make up for the awful rooms and experience.

The rooms are tired, and borderline negligent in upkeep. We spotted a mouse in our room (and heard more), and the response from the hotel was so standardized that it gave off the vibe that this is a nightly routine they go through. Based on other reviews I ve now read, sounds like it is a nightly occurrence...

The customer service at the boat house, front desk, and front desk management was consistently laissez-faire at best - a clear sense that we were impeded on their day by requesting help/service, and appears to be a cultural issue across the property.

For the premium price point, stay at the Banff Springs or Lake Louise. I ll never be back.

Slow service in the lounge area, the day pass option is only OK for the pool and hot tub. Not enough lockers. I don't think if i stayed there as a guest and had to compete with outside day pass holders for a locker, I would be pissed off.

Both rustic and luxurious. A great place to stay for a Jasper ski weekend. Great food. All amenities available on site. Heated swim out salt water pool for winter swimming. Varying price ranges accommodated though everything is on the pricey side.

Given this is a Fairmount property I had expected a lot. It did not meet the expectations. Things went wrong from the beginning, they thought I was supposed to be there 2 weeks earlier even though I called that day to insure that they knew that I was coming. No one realized that the reservation was incorrect. This means I ended up with one of the leftover room and did not get the room I wanted with the lake view. They did make it up to us by providing free breakfast given that the breakfast is very expensive it was worth about 60 dollars. Given the location there's very few places close by to eat the dinner we had at the fireplace Cafe was only okay. What was not salty enough but the tonight was excellent. Are issues continue the next day I had booked Tea for Two and requested one tea service to be without dairy. But they didn't seem to understand that and did two services without dairy. Again they made it up to us by delivering us a whole new tea service to our room later that day. So while everything was made up and the staff was trying their best that would just all these little problems all weekend long. So from my experience I won't be coming back as it was not worth the money that we spend that weekend.

Love this place. Have to say I haven't spent so much time on the JPL site when we stay. More so hiking/biking around and exploring nature with our kiddo.

Kiddo loves the pool staff are for the most part trying really hard to make sure it's the best stay of your life. I would hands down stay here over Banff Springs just because there is less tourists. Jasper hasn't yet been fully commercialized and it's not like Vegas in the mountains like Banff is. I just hope it stays quiet and quaint.

My fiance and myself went there for a nice evening together, ordered a bottle of wine and some very expensive food..we were not celebrating anything but a Monday. My fiance's steak was well under what he requested and the waiter did a disappearing act and left us waiting for someone to take our half eaten plates and ask us for anything!!! At the last moment, he appeared and asked us asked us if we wanted a dessert to go.. we complied and said yes.....and waited....we decided to get up and see if someone would see us wanting to leave...of course they did and of course we paid our bill. But we will never ever go back and we will most definitely be telling our friends NOT to go there and to go somewhere else. DO NOT GO THERE

Went to JPL for a work Christmas party and they proved yet again why we return every year. Outstanding service, rooms, and food. The bartenders were great too, almost all of them were flair bartenders. Would love to return here again.

Horribly hot when we checked in and no AC. Toilet sprayed into the floors from the tank. Very loud early in the mornings. The carts and trucks from the hotel start at 6AM or earlier and do not care how loud they are. Because there's no AC you have to leave your windows open and trucks rumble through right by your windows. Staff that restock the room supplies were all kids who didn't really care.

Came here for the night for our anniversary and I must say, we were treated like gold. From the concierge to the valet attendant at the front, everyone was friendly and helpful. Our room was fantastic, located in a cabin right across from the main path in front of the lake. When we arrived, our room was done up with anniversary treats and champagne, as well as a romantic looking bed spread with swans and rose petals. The room was clean and warm, with extra blankets and pillows tucked away should we need it.

The heated pool and hot tub was stellar, and the weather was perfect for outdoor soaking, especially once it started snowing. The on-site amenities were ample as well, a few shops and galleries as well as a free games room and free lockers for the pool.

Definitely on the pricier side but well worth it, would love to come back in the summer to see the seasonal differences!

The Jasper Park Lodge is an iconic Canadian mountain destination. Surrounded by the majestic Canadian Rocky mountains, this facility features a luxurious lodge on the shore of a crystal blue lake, surrounded by individual cabins, on a sprawling property. The first class customer, and an exceptional menu are also highlites.

We stopped in for a bite to eat after a hike at the Maligne Canyon and seeing as we had the dog the JPL was the logical choice to go for dinner and take him in with us! The food was amazing and the service was even better, the lounge bar had incredible recommendations and was very quick. I would recommend it to anyone.

We had a fantastic time at the Fairmont.
Our lodge had a view on the lake, it was very peaceful and the location is beautiful.

Nice place. The cabin-style layout is a bit strange. Food is good and the beer selection was pretty goo too. They need a better wine list. The roads are in need of a bit of touching up. The golf course is really good.

Fairmont Jasper Park is a must stay or visit. The scenery is breathtaking. This is my first visit during the winter season. There is tons of wildlife around. It is the slower season so you have lots of privacy. The pool and hot tub stay warm even at minus 30c. Truely a great place to visit.

Beyond beautiful. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Ended up going for a wedding and they executed everything flawlessly. Food is great, there's even a basement area full of play rooms for kids, pool tables, a gorgeous pool, etc. Highly recommended (although very pricey)

I haven't even had a chance to stay here! But the restaurants are excellent and just what you would expect from mountain Lodge, huge fireplaces and vaulted ceilings. The Hot Buttered Rum (a seasonal special) was fantastic. There's a planetarium, ice skating and a great swim out hot tub.

A disappointing experience. Although we were not informed of this in advance, most amenities were closed. When feedback was provided, it wasn't welcomed. We decided to end our stay early.

Edit: Meant to give a better score, my phone's touchscreen was having some issues!

I absolutely enjoyed my stay at JPL - the staff were incredibly helpful either navigating the services and activities offered at the lodge, or if you're looking for interesting places around Jasper to check out!

Due to a lower number of guests at the time of our visit, some activities/restaurant hours were altered, but otherwise my experience was what I was hoping for during my visit.

Somewhat unfair for me to give this a review as I was only at the hotel for a short period of time (just overnight) but it was a very beautiful hotel, with a pleasant, laid back atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff and the scenery was gorgeous

I was staying with friends; I could never afford it on my own. Everything is great, although very expensive. Marilyn Monroe stayed here with Joe DiMaggio, which probably says enough. If your heart is set on it, then I think you'll like it here.

Grounds and surrounding area around the Jasper Park Lodge are worth a visit even if you aren't staying there. These pictures are from loop 4a. It's an easy walk around the lake and as you can see from the photos the views are spectacular.

Really nice and can't fault the staff, but you don't really get what you pay for. We were so excited to stay here and the grounds are beautiful. However, upon entering our room we were underwhelmed and a little disappointed. The room was pretty basic and we could hear word for word the people in the adjoining room. The staff were very accommodating asking us how we were enjoying our stay and moving us to a quieter room when we told them about the noise. However, we just didn't expect something like that would be an issue in a 5 star resort. Understandably, a lot of the facilities were closed with Covid.
