great rooms, fantastic food and best service in town

Generally more expensive than it is worth for the Fairmont name. They do have skating on the lake that is quite enjoyable.

Nicest staff!!! Room didn't have air conditioning but they supplied us extra fans and I slept perfectly comfortably. Walked right out my door and to the beautiful lake. Great destination for families!

This hotel was really good to me. The waitresses are 5 stars so i will give this a 5 out of 5 any day of the week that ends with "y".

However, the rooms are sadly dated and overpriced. I met a mouse on my pillow. The cabins are furnished 1970s style and I think they were cleaned in that decade. The staff are fantastic but the food is overpriced.

Just a beautiful spot. One of the nicest places to stay in all the Rockies. Definitely worth a trip.

Fantastic lodge in a park setting! Individual cabins make the stay so enjoyable... Lots of activities and good restaurant options. Would definitely recommend to others. Request a cabin with a lake view when reserving!

The location is beautiful and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Everything was perfect and the entire place is very dog friendly which we loved.

Great place with a nice view of the lake and mountains. 24 hour shuttle service around the lodge if needed. The only thing is lack of parking close to our room.

I just took a star off because off the too much insects in my room and most importantly because of the dirty carpet. I was on my phone, and my habit is to walk when im calling, a few minutes later my white socks became dark because of the dirty carpet.

Staff were helpful. Food very good. Very relaxing.

I m a frequent guest of JPL and have never been disappointed. This stop was just for a quick lunch and to soak up the incredibly rejuvenating ambiance of the main lodge. Highly recommend this location for any occasion, from a month long retreat to a quick stop in for a look and a bite.

Cabin accommodationsl with modern amenities like tv, Refrigerator, coffee maker, hot water pot, shower/ tub, toilet, hair dryer. NO A/C, but you don't need it because weather was 75F. Ceiling fan in room keeps it plenty cool. Food is delicious, but expensive in restaurants. Breakfast buffet $35, sandwiches/burgers $25+, steaks up to $50. Lovely view of lakes and mountains. Stables for horseback riding, canoes, bikes, trails, pool, spa, workout center.

Not an overnight stay. Went for a quick view of lac beauvert. It's a gorgeous property with canoe rentals on site. Helpful staff.

It was the best hotel i have ever been to. The food was amazing as well as the view around us.

Came here for a brief pre-Christmas gathering with the family. Beautifully decorated, with a good amount of activities on the property to keep you busy. It's the perfect place to stay with a mix of outdoors and luxury.

Enjoyed sipping a relaxing tea in this lobby over the weekend. The live music was incredible and the views nearby were breathtaking. It is worth the 4 hour trip from Edmonton.

Very friendly staff, large and clean rooms (for a log cabin that is no easy task.). However, the bathroom are too small. An over hang barn door will help the situation. We come with Rocky Mountaineer, and it would be better if there are more accessible transportation to the center town from hotel till late in the evening.

What a beautiful property. We enjoy the lodges with Lakeview. It was homey and cozy. The service was impeccable. The pool is heated, so you can enjoy the serene night in the pool or hot tub. We also enjoyed the various boats they have on site to explore the lake.

Wonderful experience. We went for a one night getaway over the new year and honestly it feels like it was a few days. Great staff, very helpful. Wonderful grounds to walk around, you can spend hours just enjoying being onsite. We will definitely be back in the future. Just over all really good. Yes the bathrooms are small how ever we knew this going into it so that s not a negative for us.

Central lodge where all the amenities are is very nice, but most of the guest rooms are in surrounding buildings which we found much less impressive. Parking was a nuisance. My wife was interested in the pool/hot tub, but didn't want to hike across the compound in February to get there.

Close to Maligne Canyon, where we got in some very enjoyable hiking!

Very scenic location. Nice amenities. Lots of walking to get to the facilities. Shuttle vans available for free.

Always a great place to come and warm up with a cocktail by the fire. Pristine views of the mountains.

Beautiful grounds but the room made the price a bit harder to swallow, as it was slightly dated. Otherwise a great experience if you're a fancy pants.
