Friendly staff, great food...what more could you ask? Try the white choc brownies...amazing!!

ordered the calamari to start it was absolutely incredible. service was fast and friendly.

Service was great! Food was only okay, the fries were over cooked and the chicken on the chicken burger could have been better. The wife really enjoyed her lettuce wraps.

This Moxie s has a large bar and a decent size dinning room with access to the adjoining hotel. Contemporary casual decor, friendly service, and good food. This location isn t accessible from the roadway; you have to turn off 11th street at the lights. The parking lot is a bit cramped and access to it is narrow. The view is of a parking lot, roadway, and adjacent stores. The menu is limited for vegetarian/vegan patrons.

Ordered steak medium rare, got well done. But they were gracious enough to not make me pay for it.

Went there for a date and I was impressed with the customer service and food quality. It's big and never crowded at the time I was staying nearby.

I visited here a couple times for dinner during my stay at the hotel next door. The food was okay as is at most Moxie's restaurants, but not really overwhelming though.
The service was very friendly and attentive.
The restaurant interior was very cozy and comfy, with a giant long table and many booth tables.

Nice place, service was excellent. Spanish cod was very tasty. Unfortunately they don't allow kids on the patio which was the main reason we went to that restaurant today.

There is very little wrong with Moxie's, it is good quality mass market huge portion sit-down multicultural with an American tint restaurant food.

If you want something simple and smaller then it becomes harder to pick as the menu has few non elaborate options that aren't going to ruin a calorie budget for the day

Had a great family dinner here. Something for everyone, tableside guac was outstanding and the housemade dip for the yam fried was amazing. Tipped off with great service. Thx.

Acceptable food and drinks prepared to meet expectations. It's exactly what one would expect from a higher-end chain restaurant. More expensive than it should be. The interior is quite sprawling, which makes it feel empty and cold.

We ate a bit earlier than the rush period 5:00ish, so our server had a great attitude and we enjoyed his service. The food really hit the mark and we thought the menu had good choices too. Haven't eaten at Moxie's very often but will again for sure.

I just wanted to say how absolutely impressed I am with the service we received today!
We ordered a steak sandwich rare and although it was well done the manager came by and crouched down so he was eye level with us and apologized profusely. He offered to make a new steak and/or comp the entree for the mistake. I 100% respect how understanding, compassionate and professional he was!
At the end of the meal the waiter also asked how we liked our appetizer that we hadn t really touched. I didn t want to say anything because I felt bad but, I ended up telling him I found the texture unappetizing compared to others I had had at other restaurants. He came back and took that appetizer off our bill as well!

They both went above and beyond for us when they didn t need too. I will be returning AND recommending to my friends and family to dine at this establishment.

My boyfriend and I decided to try out Moxie's for our anniversary as the original restaurant we were planning on going to was way too busy and it was the best decision we could have made!
Our server Katie was beyond sweet and helpful and the man working at the time (sorry we didn't catch his name. I assume he was a host or a manager?) went above and beyond!
My boyfriend chose his steak to be well done and the man apologized that it was taking a while for it to be cooked (we've definitely waited longer at restaurants so it wasn't even a long wait and due to the way he wanted his steak done it was very understandable.)
They definitely went above and beyond and made it the best restaurant experience we've ever had.
Thank you for making our anniversary so special! We'll definitely be back

First time we have had take out delivery and it was Great. Excellent amount of food on each order and food was hot on this quick delivery. I would certainly order from here again.

Great food quality! Very professional staff. Love how everything tastes at moxies. The restaurants atmosphere awas great.

Were super excited about the white chocolate brownies...however they were cold and didn't quite enjoy them as much as we hopped

Very slow service. Took one bite of my steak and had to return it was like chewing on shoe rubber. Only positive was the fish tacos appetizer was great

Went to this Moxie's last night with a group of nine. My Mom is celiac and when we brought this up to the waitress she went to check on a some items with the kitchen, and a few minutes later the manager came over to discuss gluten-free options. She was very pleased with the selection and ended getting gf gravy which was a real treat. Her meal was special delivered as soon as it was ready to avoid contamination which I've NEVER seen a restaurant do. Their understanding of the nature of celiac and their gf menu options was outstanding, the food was amazing (everyone at the table was pleased and we had some picky eaters) and the service exceptional. Thanks, Moxie's!

Good but not great for the price. We enjoy the round tables for bigger groups

We had the pleasure of visiting a couple of months ago and had a great experience. The atmosphere is cozy and the food is delicious. Our server (I believe her name is Afton) was fantastic. She was very friendly, accommodating, and really proactive with refills. The manager on duty who was helping out (I'm sorry I didn't get his name!) was just as great. Thank you for making our visit to Calgary memorable!

I don't think I've ever really had a good experience at Moxie's......My mom's fish was completely undercooked and her vegetables were boiled in butter, asked for them to fix it and they didn't have any ingredients left apparently. For my burger they didn't have any meat left so I had to order something else.....They also brought us the wrong drinks. It was overall a huge shitshow, which is just about how every experience goes when I go there

I had a steak dinner with a side of mushrooms. The complete dinner was reddiculousy salty. Very very disappointing.

We had the pleasure of celebrating the New Year at Moxie's - Deerfoot Meadows. Our Server, Scarlet was an absolute joy. I can not say enough good things about her. The food was incredible, as it always is. Thank you Scarlet and Moxie's for giving us yet another wonderful evening.

From the moment we walked in, my table of 11 felt like we bothered all the staff by simply asking menu questions. Food on the menu missing , no eye contact, and cut off in the middle of our sentences. The only reason this review gets a star is because of a lady that substituted our server. Her name is Kara. She was great. She saved the night.

My friend regularly travels for business and stays at the Sandman Hotel that is attached to this Movies location. I had the opportunity to meet him there one weekend and when we visited Moxies we had such a great experience. The young man who served us at the bar along with his colleague were superb with their level of customer service. We visited each evening we were there as it was paired with great staff and a great atmosphere. I look forward to visiting again soon.

Amazing Food! But no longer have the Broccoli Cheddar Soup on the Menu which is a bummer only thing i ever ordered!

Great lunch spot, fast, nice environment, great customer service, friendly staff, and reasonably priced. It's become my go to for client lunches.

Good steak however the steak sauce was way too salty. I can taste grains of salt in my mouth. The calamari was soggy. Got place for a drink, but not so much for the food.

It was so convenient that Moxie's is right in the hotel, had a great meal here! This Old Fashioned was liiiiiiiiiiiiiiife!

Even though I work here I have also ordered food while off duty and the service is great as well as the food.

Met a friend here for dinner, we sat on the bar side and it was not busy, only the two of us and two to three other tables. Our server was somewhat friendly however she also acted as though we were wasting her time, she checked to see if we were ready to order repeatedly, my friend and I hadn't seen each other in quite some time and were holding a conversation and hadn't looked at the menu.

After our meal, our server did not follow up to see if we wanted anything further bit instead offered to bring our checks, we planned to have more drinks and possibly dessert, so we asked if they were closing, when she replied, "no" we asked for the deasert menu and ordered more drinks.

Food and beverages were great, service could have been a little better.

Good burger. Nice casual atmosphere. Decent service. Coffee cup could have been filled a little more promptly would be my only complaint.

It was good - get the white chocolate brownie. You won't regret.

Really enjoy this place and the staff. At least once a month a group of professional photographers from the Professional Photographers of Canada meet up after a training program. We have been going for some time, we have yet to find a dish or drink that was not fantastic.

In particular is the wings, the pizza and my fav the beef dip are always chosen by someone. I can't recall the a wait staff who are always so pleasant to look after us. Roy the manager has even stepped in a few times to help with our orders.

We usually get there late at night, close to when their shifts are nearly over and the kitchen nearly closed yet still get top service and food.

If it feels a bit like I am raving about this Moxies, well you are right, fantastic place for a meal with good company

Excellent food! The waitress was professional and courteous, and I never had to wait for a refill.
This location is not as busy b/c it's new, so there was no line at all on a Saturday night. This won't last long.
Highly recommended!

Place had good food and service, it's over priced especially for the portion size really just a good to place to go if your looking for a nice looking restaurant.

The Flourless Dark Chocolate Cake with Fiasco Gelato is unbelievable! A must-try!

Parking can be a little tight as its in the hotel parking lot but great food! I'd recommend going here any time.

We had a company event here for approx. 45 people. The space was beautiful. The food was amazing we had ordered a bunch of appetizers and a three course meal from a set menu. I had the steak and it was cooked perfectly! I would say though the regular sized desserts we like a quarter of a sheet cake, they were massive! (not really a downside for most :) ) The drinks were delicious, especially there White Peach Bellini, and they had really good house draft beer. Would recommend to other business looking to host a work event! Andrew took care of us during the evening he was very attentive! And Jessica who coordinated everything from looking at the venue to sampling the menu! You amazing to work with and provided a delicious set menu that did not exceed my budget! Thank you so much for a great evening, we will be back!
