The setting is truly stunning and the service of the resort staff is excellent.The food is also worth the trip.The resort is old and it is a return to the days of vacation destinations.Luckily there is a lot to do here and a must for couples.The room are true to their origins some the original buildings.While some may say they are dated they add to your experience.There is usually wildlife wandering around and it puts you back in touch with what else is going on in the world.

Obviously this place is great. I highly recommend it for those who can.

Stunning views, and amazing service from the entire staff

Room upgrade was nice touch. Deck backed out onto beautiful lake. Room could do with updating - some fixtures and fittings are a bit tired. Grounds are gorgeous and the staff are very helpful.

Loved it. The cabins are amazing. The staff are always a nice. Walked around the lake had a hot tub. Smores, wine and cheese plate and a fire. How can you go wrong. Amazing time. Each time, every time.

This is only my feelings. Please know prior to going the Fairmont chain all amenities are closed. This is mandatory; they will take your temperature daily (I refuse to change my name to Ben Dover) you must wear gloves and masks except when in the lounge or dining areas. It appears when it is about making $$$$ the serving staff are less important as the masks can come off; how convenient. My wife's father fought in the 2nd world war as a tail gunner putting his life on the line for our freedom from communism well apparently the Fairmont chain has gone back in time and feel okay living in a world of dictatorship. We were Royal Members but that will be the day I allow any company to feel they can go back to dictatorship, the chain is dead to me forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My trip was mind blowing as I enjoyed a lot. I was here with my family to spent our vacation. It was my right decision to spent the vacation over here. We just loved the indoor activities. Highly recommended place to everyone!!

Worth the experience the first time. Scenery and service was splendid. Where this spot failed was it was too easy to get yourself lost, and the showers had no pressure behind them.

Awesome experience. The lodge is fantastic. There are lots of things to do at the lodge itself and Jasper is at your doorstep. The staff were really nice as well :)

Easy to check in and out, and lots of courtesy. Me and my husband felt spoiled. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable and we feel relaxed and like we had a real vacation. We ordered room service and the price and the speed with which we received our meal were beyond our expectations. A classy place and excellent value.

Beautiful park, wonderful lake but not enough animals...

Beautiful hotel with cabins. Perfwct locarion with easy driving access to the best sites in Jasper National Park.

Outdoor skating on Mildred Lake is free, and they have free hot chocolate! You don't need to be a lodge guest to skate on the lake.

We have bin to the Fairmont more then once... because we love it so much I've only ever encountered 1 grumpy staff member. all the staff is usually treats you the best. great people from all around the world! We also love family getaways here because we get 2 bring our dog karma. (pitbull/boxer) she is very well behaved and trained so they don't mind having her. I love the pool entrance and the bar that not far from it. although a palm bay is costing 8$ and a ceaser can be as high as 20$ they do of course have flavoured complimentary water girls loved it! They also have a kids indoor play room across from the pool that was helpful to the husband with the baby well us gurls had a steam and sauna in the bathroom and we were able to straighten my daughters hair with complimentary hair straightener. Was nice means less to pack when they have these things on the resort. It was too cold to go skating but they have a planetarium set up we wanted to go see but ended up getting to full off our amazing dinner at the moose den or nook it's called the fine dining restraunt! Soooo good and the night before we ordered in. Our stay was once again a great one and I look forward to our many visits thanks Fairmont!!!!

Clean as always and beautiful. Food and drinks not so great though. Would reccomend going into town for dinners.

Beautiful lodge on an amazing lake setting! We sat with family for the afternoon and had tea and dessert to warm up by the fireplace which was wonderful! Beautiful west coast decor and great amenities offered to guests!

It can not be more idyllic. A great facility in a great ski area.

Jasper park lodge has amazing staff so amazingly friendly.
The accommodations we have had has been really clean and nice. Our visit soon is suppose to be a down grade from previous stays; however I am sure they will be fine. I will write a review to compare later.

Always, Jasper Park Lodge is truly a vacation. Really impressive place.

I do miss the Fairmont card as the Accord card is not as good; however Jasper park lodge is still our favourite place for all seasons. Ps. The ski bus is the best in winter!!

We've stayed here 4 times over the past 15 years and it's starting to show its age. Very expensive. Hate that you have to call room service for ice and then wait for 1/2hr-1hr for it to arrive.

Restaurant is ridiculously expensive. Had 3 really nice dinners in Jasper for the price of one meal at Fairmont. $50 burgers is outrageous.

Parking with a truck is impossible. Had to park way down by the laundry house.

Wouldn't stay again. Time for an update to match what they think a $300 basic room is worth

The hotel feels like a summer camp. The rooms (ours was $500 a night) felt no better than a $90 Best Western room.

Service upon arrival was hygienic and quick, the food service was a much appreciated change from the usual fairmont options. The staff at the front desk including Ravoop Gill made our stay worth while, as well as holly in the dining area. Thank you for making our trip worth while!

Not a bad experience, was just expecting a bit more..

The location is beautiful but our room felt like it was a Motel 6, it was terrible considering the price. We reserved the room and then they charged us almost $200 more when we got the bill and said it was because we didnt pre-pay which doesnt make any sense. The cost of food is way too high considering the quality and even simple things like having to wait 20 minutes for ice because there are no ice machines. These are little things but youd expect given the reputation and cost of the stay. Won't be staying again

I am shocked by the whole layout of the hotel and the quality of the rooms at this lodge! I just came from Fairmont Vancouver and was expecting similar class of hotel!

The best feature of the lodge is the location, it is situated on a lake ! But unfortunately, it is so poorly designed that very few rooms can enjoy the views!

I ve paid almost $1400 for two nights for two adults and am so disappointed with the rooms at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge! Very Basic room with no frills at all! Log cabins can be certainly designed w/ much more character!

The last Residence Inn, (which was only three star hotel and costed @$225 ) that I stayed at had better room and much bigger bathroom! Bathroom at the Fairmont Jasper was so small that you ld have to close the door to be able to comfortably sit on the toilet seat !

I would not recommend this lodge for this price point!

Fabulous facilities. Magnificent dinner and service at Moose's Nook. Staff was wonderful. Beautiful scenery.

Amazing room, beautiful scenery and amazing food.

I would give it 5 stars but the housekeeping staff broke the lock on my door and left it open.

I spoke to the manager and he insisted on comping me, I was part of a convention so it was prepaid. He then insisted on discounting me a room if I come back. I said that it was fine but asked him to donate some toiletries to a program we have for emergencies kits for abused women he said yes. I said a couple sets would be fine.

He gave me 30 sets.

Amazing service.

The room had a good view and I enjoyed my stay at the Lodge. Only down side is that the room felt a bit dated but the staff was very friendly and helped us with idea of things to do in the area.

Great rooms, people and food. Been here before, will return.

2 Star Rating for Resort, some moderate inconveniences, that in my humble opinion should not happen when staying at a Fairmont, nor for the price a person pays. Stayed in a King Room w/ Cabin views. We had to wait an additional 30-40 minutes after the noted check in time of 4PM before we could even get in to the room as it was not ready. We did receive a welcome platter with fruit, chocolate and trail mix!
The room was small, the bathroom even smaller. You could not fit 2 people in there comfortably. (The door was easily within an 1/8" away from the toilet) When showering the water pressure was inconsistent, as was the temperature. The water would go from moderate to scalding to freezing, till the pipes rattled and brought more hot water. (I'm guessing the water system has not been updated?) The ceiling above the shower was all cracked and in need of repair as well.
The parking was atrocious, in the lack of it. People had to park on the lawn, or over a curb, once the provided parking was filled. (Clearly not enough)
With that being said, Staff was friendly and very helpful, if I could give them a 5 Star Rating I would.
The property was gorgeous, and everything one would expect from being in the Rockies.
Maybe I expected too much, but almost spending $1000 on 2 nights accommodation, the value was not there. I have stayed at Hotels that cost under $100/night that had better rooms. Very disappointing first time at this Fairmont location. Turning Moments in to Memories? Not a good memory for an anniversary trip!

Beautiful resort with breathtakingly gorgeous lake.

Everything was perfect except the bed. The pillow were too soft and the bed not very comfortable. Otherwise it was a 5 star accommodation.

Very beautiful and decent lodge! Best in the park of Jasper. So many decent activitys to partake in! Plenty of wildlife around to view. Staff is supremely decent and go above and beyond in every aspect of hospitality! Would highly recommend this beauty to anyone visiting the Parc.

Wir hatten eine Suite. Sie war ganz ok. Leider war die Hauptstation meist dreckig und immer voll mit kleinen herumschreienden Kindern. Als wir Billiard spielen wollten konnten wir nicht einmal mit dem Queue (stick) ausholen da viel zu wenig platz war.
Der pool war nicht ein mal beleuchtet und hat ausserdem nach Urin gestunken. Das personal war leider nur mittelfreundlich.

The surroundings are magnificent and the resort is beautiful but the service and the food was lacking. Went for My wife's birthday and had a great time but for two days in a row they made mistakes on the food orders and the food was below standard for a place like that. I have had better steaks at the Keg and for a lot less money. I emailed Marc Wawrin the GM but no replys so they don't care. The billing is a real smoz as they have it on tv but it is not accurate. They also charge a 30 dollar resort fee for use of the grounds. With the price they charge for a room do they really need to nickel and dime people. Rea chinz. We may go back but would definitely not eat there.

Excellent food. Wonderful venue for our business conference.

We honestly ran into a few issues with our stay recently. However the staff were absolutely top notch and made up for it.
Also the manager Alex Jones went so far above and beyond with his customer service it was honestly amazing. I'm not sure if the high ups at the Fairmont read these reviews but if they do then employees such as Alex need to be held onto as they are what make this place thrive. We went from possibly not staying again to now making this place our go to in jasper and we will recommend it to all friends and family. I cant speak highly enough about the staff. Please keep up the amazing work. If all places had staff like this then every business would achieve 5 stars. We really do look forward to our next visit.

I have stayed in and sent work crews to stay in hotels across western canada.
The $700 room at this location I normally would pay $80 to $100 for.
The room we stayed in was nothing like the room advertised, they got me good with a bait and switch.
We looked online at hotels 15 minutes away that cost $120 a night and where much nicer to stay at.

5 Star Hotel, unique in the area. It is open to the public to walk. It has a main building with sauna, spa, heated pool, at least two restaurants and clothing and art shops .... The bungalows for the rooms are in separate buildings, you have to consider moving around the park when you need something, especially in winter !! It is about 10 minutes from the town, between mountains .... Very beautiful scenery!

Stayed there for 3 nights recently and it was disappointing to be honest.
It's been 4 years or so since I last visited jasper and jasper park lodge. The service and activities offered at this Fairmont location have definitely run down quite a bit! They got rid of hi tea, cuz of business strategy according to themselves. Staff aren't as friendly as before. WiFi is slowly and not even comparable to Shaw open in jasper town...
I will not go back to the lodge again and recommend to my friends, cuz it's simply not worth the price I am paying.

Beautiful hotel! You can go canoeing/paddle board/kayak with incredible views of the mountains. The hotel is friendly and has amazing service. You don t need to stay they re to enjoy this incredible place. Dropping by for dinner or drinks is definitely worth while and staff is professional through and through to both hotel guests and daily visitors. Which I could give this place 6 stars!

Awesome experience. The lake inside the property is breathtaking. Kayaks and boat rentals are available at a reasonable price.

Rooms are severely overpriced for incredibly old, air conditioningless cabins. We complained and got upgraded to lake front, which was better than the original cabin we were dissapointed with, but nonetheless not worth the money.

Honestly I expect a LOT more from this place given the cost to stay here. The rooms are dated, the pipes in the walls knock when someone takes a shower, the parking is a brutal mess, and the service is average.

Unbeatable views down by the lake. The cabin room was rather basic but had a large porch area. Parking is a pain.

Wonderful spot. Great hotel. Inside a park that alone is fantastic

For the price, the resort and service was not up to par. We had to call multiple times to get proper bedding for our pullout, lounge area service first visit took an hour to be served lunch and the second visit they messed up our order, the spa change rooms were almost unbearably unclean (granted it was at the end of the day during busy holiday season but still), the pool had so much chlorine in it that people's bathing suits were bleached. All in, just not what you would expect from a Fairmont.

Beautiful property, although the bathroom in our Fairmont room is very small and hard to move around in. The location is easy to get to and does not feel like a hotel, it feels like a wilderness retreat.

Best place to stay for comfort and relaxation. Location is one of the best.

One of my favourite properties. Over half a dozen visits over the last decade or so.

Cabins and comfort nestled in the Rockies. Excellent dining, warm & friendly staff and great rooms.

Let me start by saying that the resort and course are absolutely second to none and were a delight.
The only blemish on the whole experience was the attitude and unnecessary antagonistic attitude of the course concierge.
Upon our arrival our group was told we may occupy the practice area and pay our green fees 30 Mins prior to tee time. Just before this time we had asked if we may and were met with the response of "I told you guys 25 mins" OK?
After walking the resort and returning to the club house we were met with the delightful greeting of "You guys just can't listen and stay away can you"
Keep in mind we have just driven 5 hours to simply play this course. Where else do we have to go?

Working in customer service myself I am more than aware of the added stress that CoVid protocols can add to one's job. However please keep in mind you are a first line representation of the business and as a customer paying premium pricing I think it's only fair to expect premium service.
This is only directed at one person on your staff. Be better !

Our stay begin a bit rocky with a huge snowfall immediately before we arrived but the staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. We especially want to thank the manager for the service and experience. Would recommend to anyone regardless of the weather.

The staff & service here is unparalleled. We had some issues with no AC in our lodge (it got up to 33 degrees C in our room, so make sure you book an AC room if you're visiting in summer) but the staff were exceptional in dealing with us. They moved us rooms that night and made sure we would come back for a future visit by how well they handled everything. Special shout out to Alex (The guest relations manager) who was absolutely fantastic - so polite, professional and a general all round awesome human even though we had a couple of complaints. The facilities are absolutely beautiful (lake & mountain view tee box, anyone?!) And the pool is gorgeous. Cannot wait to come back!

Amazing hotel in the heart of the Rocky mountains. The staff treat you so well, dogs are welcome, and activities are top notch... Also the Nachos at the restaurant are amazing!

Had a great time here. Bar is excellent and food is great.

Always a pleasure to stay here. In my opinion, one of the best of the Fairmont properties in Canada. Really makes you fell part of nature. Nothing beats seeing deer outside your room window, or having a wood fire chimney in your room

Love the JPL, just wish they had a hot tub! The outdoor heated pool is nice but need a hot tub :-)

Its beautiful. The cabins are very nice and the view of the lake spectacular.

It is pricy but great view and food!! Definitely worth it!!!

Always a nice stay with attentive and friendly staff. Only complaint is that winter is low season and they pare down their offerings in the outlets without really advertising to guests in advance, which can be disappointing.

Nice hotel, rooms could be a bit better as not very well suited for the summer months but nevertheless an enjoyable stay. Stunning scenery but a bit expensive overall.
