What an outstanding experience; the restaurants were exceptional; safety protocols were followed for the most part; please ensure that all waiters wear their masks properly nose and mouth should be covered. Please ensure that social distancing is observed when people line up for the the great hall dining room.

Amazing property as everyone says, just feels like stereotypical Canada. Well kept, amazing food and loved the pool and hottub. Only issue were the lockers in the change rooms for the pool, both guys and ladies had several lockers marked out of order and of the ones that weren't marked, still took 4 of 5 tries to find a locker that worked. Certainly not enough to take anything away from am amazing stay, just something I wanted to bring up in hopes they can get a better fix in.
My father and I played here a few years ago. Most of the holes line up to a mountain. It is beautiful with scenic views and lots of wildlife. The water on the course is crystal clear.
We stay in July, 2016 for our Wedding Anniversary. Location is great. But room by condition, is the same what you can get in a regular Motel.. old, small, smell.. Not worth $650 ( what we pay) a night at all. Drive way repairs all over the property, problem with parking, but the worth was - that at 7 am right under our window , some construction managers decided to have a Very loud discussion for an hour !!! with No any respect to a guests.. Restaurant is good. we will never stay there again.
Location is very accessible coming in through the Jasper National Park. I stayed in a cabin which just magical right by the lake for two nights with 24 hour room service just amazing care from the staff, I did however find the menu very quality but conservative in varity and options.
As always the views are great, and staff seem to do their jobs, so nothing bad per say. But the value isn't there. Everything is so expensive, and then a ton of tax in top. Think your better off looking at other options.
Beautiful Golf Course, pace was slow but gives you the opportunity to take in your surroundings. JPL lodge and restaurant had great food, service and the best maple bourbon.
Overpriced for the quality of the room. No air conditioning to which we were offered a fan because our room was +27. The room is outdated and small, looked like a cheap motel with a small bed for $600 a night. You can get better rooms for cheaper in Jasper. Will not be staying here again. Stayed at the Fairmont in Lake Louise the night before, night and day difference in what you get for the cost.
The picturesque resort, the service is very attentive, met the Chinese waiter Anna Ding, the room service is very thoughtful for the guests, I really like it!
Kathryn Abeysekera (wedding coordinator) and JPL Fairmont we cannot thank you enough for hosting our wedding, which ended up being one of the best days of our lives.
Jasper has a special place in my heart being born and raised here and was surreal getting married at the jpl. Even with the covid19 restrictions, you guys hosted the perfect micro wedding where everything was done smoothly and safely. Furthermore, thank you for upgrading our room to a gigantic cabin and accommodating to all our needs!!! Truly thankful!
If anyone wants a perfect wedding, at a perfect location. This is the place to plan your wedding. Hopefully you will get the amazing Kathryn Abeysekera as your coordinator!
My boyfriend and I stopped at Jasper Park Lodge for a drink on our way to Jasper. I spent my childhood vacations there as a kid and have a soft spot for the hotel. While the drinks are pricy, the two we ordered were great. The view on the patio can't be beat either!
Nice quiet place to stay. Worth staying once to experience but not really worth the money they ask for it. Stay in town or an Airbnb. Banff springs fairmont is more impressive for essentially the same prices..
I love this place. I've come many times and every time I'm reminded to come back more often. If there was one drawback its the lack of diversity on the menu in the Emerald Lounge...at one time we could order food from the fancy dining room to have in the lounge with our kids and I wish they'd bring back that service...after 2 days the lounge menu tires and we head into town.
This is my favourite Fairmont hotel location. The view is absolutely amazing and feels surreal and there is so much to do and see in the area. There s a beautiful view from the pool and it is such a relaxing spot. The rooms are beautiful as well and very well kept.
What a beautiful setting. Suoer helpful staff and a great view of the lake. It was our 40th wedding anniversary on the 8th, and this was a great place to enjoy it. Great food, fresh air. Thanks so much from us both. Room 120 is a great spot. Cant say enough good. Thank you!
Stayed here from December 25-27, 2016, came in from Edmonton. The food was wonderful and amazing. The rooms were comfortable. Unfortunately our cabin was far from the main building and it was very cold out those nights so it was a miracle I didn't get frostbite. Overall, it was a good visit.
Really an amazing place that was so accommodating for the wedding for our daughter...we had rented the viewpoint cabin to accommodate both sides of the family.. we were able to bring food in... We had hired Alex the bartender who was incredible (the only issue was that our email confirms the bartender until 1100pm but he was pulled shortly after 1000). Katherine our wedding planner (and Shannon).. we're so helpful and made our special day for our children that much more beautiful. I can't see enough about the entire staff from housekeeping to front desk to the shuttle drivers to staff and restaurant.. they were all friendly accommodating and respectful.. thank you so much JPL!
Great lodge at the Beauvert Lake. We were here last summer. The room was spacious and the food was good. Friendly staff. Our excursions in the neighborhood: Mt Edith Cavell and Maligne Canyon. Next time we will make some time for seeing Maligne Lake.
I ve stayed in many Fairmont properties and this one is the least luxurious. I understand the concept is rustic and that s fine, but no air conditioning? This is a deal breaker. We are at the beginning of spring, and these rooms feel like an oven in the afternoon. This will be our first and last stay in this property (unless they instal AC)
Every visit is an amazing experience. The customer service is unparalleled. Incredible scenery, beautiful rooms, tons of activities and services. We recently had our wedding here and could not be any happier. Max-Peter and Kathryn were fantastic to deal with - especially with planning a wedding during a pandemic. They were so accommodating and easy to deal with. From re-booking our wedding, changing ceremony details, even helping to book a tee time for us - we were put at peace of mind every step of the way. We can't wait to come back!
Fell in love with this place!! It s a beautiful setting and the views never get old! Amazing amenities, staff are friendly and very helpful. Couldn t recommend this place enough!
Book ahead! Some dates are booked a year in advance. My family were able to get adjoining cabins from December 20-23, 2014 at short notice and a discount because most people wanted to stay over Christmas. We drove in from Edmonton.
The lodge was beautifully decorated for Christmas and smelled of wood fires and Christmas. Definitely a wonderful place to celebrate Christmas with zero effort. Bring a bathing suit - there is a heated indoor/outdoor pool that I wanted to try but didn't want to spend $100 on a bathing suit for 30 minutes in the pool.
We had cabin, not lodge, rooms and they are really basic. Beds and bathroom, TV, no chairs, no tables. Unfortunately in December many outdoor activities are unavailable. I believe that they had ice skating and we hiked around the extensive grounds, visited Jasper and soaked up the Christmas atmosphere in the lodge.
It was a nice mini vacation and our out of country visitors loved seeing the Canadian Rockies. We had tried to book the previous summer but could not and stayed at the historic Athabasca in Jasper. Highly recommend a trip to Jasper and Banff but plan ahead if you want to stay at the Fairmont. Truly memorable.
The hotel is a good 100 years old, but very neat and modern inside. The dining area and bar are beyond cosy. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. You will definitely enjoy the gorgeous views. And if you are into hiking, horse riding and other outdoor activities, JPL has it all. One thing we haven't tried yet is their Spa, but we've heard nothing but good things about it. This is our yearly getaway regardless of season. And it's pet friendly!
Great vacation aside a couple things. Dishes were dirty, and beer was usually warm. Despite the ice everywhere, the staff didnt put ice melt or salt around all the cabins and my grandpa slipped and fell right onto his side. Aside from that, great place.
A quiet, leisurely place. The price of the restaurant is very flat, while enjoying the food while enjoying the view. Cooperated with the little squirrel, chasing his figure, lingering.
We stayed at the resort for the first time last month. There were several issues with our room which made the stay a bit unpleasant, but we experienced exceptional service while eating in the Great Hall Gastropub and the Emerald Lounge. Joshua went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our dinner. He was extremely patient with us while we were trying to decide what we wanted to order. He also made a great recommendation to try the maple old fashioned. It is delicious, even if you don t normally like old fashions. But the thing that impressed us the most was when we asked if it was possible to get a particular beer when ordering room service because we wanted to head back to our room. He said that they would definitely be able to do that for us. But by the time we got back to our room, there was another gentleman waiting for us with the exact beer we wanted to order. He created a very memorable moment for us. Thank you so much, Joshua!
Stayed at their lake front cabin in December. Super cosy, lots of space. Great to have a heated outdoor pool and hot tub. Fire pit was lit in the evenings, skating was available on the lake. Restaurant was nice, really helpful staff. I'd love to go back in the summer!
The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is an exceptional place to stay with amazing views and unbeatable service. The staff happily take care of everything need. The Emerald Lounge did not disappoint for an evening of live music, dinner and drinks. The spa facility is lovely and makes you want to stay all day to enjoy the spa services and the heated pool and hot tub. If the weather is nice it's worth it to walk the trail around the lake to see birds and possibly some of the best mountain views ever!
Good was good but the lodge was packed with snow at the entrance making it very difficult to get loaded/unloaded and to get the stroller in the room. Very tight parking when available. I had to park a 5min walk away. Wouldn't be bad if it wasn't -25*C with little kids in tow. Seems like an over sight for a winter resort.
I love the JPL. In the best tradition of the old Canadian Pacific properties, this is a wonderful retreat nestled in the Rockies. The best features are the natural surroundings, the grounds, and the Great Room in the main Lodge. Some of the rooms could use a refresh, but this is part of its charm.
Picturesque and amazing but this was our second visit for Christmas and it was not as amazing as our first. Our room had no heat for 8 hours the day, our Christmas trees were a day late being delivered (after being promised multiple times they were on tgeir way....petty I know but we have small children) the food in the Emerald lounge wasn't as good BUT the service was AMAZING! The staff is second to none.
The planetarium experience was so much fun. I just wish when I asked if we would be outside they had told us yes. Unfortunately my kids had to miss out on the telescopes due to the miscommunication. The staff running the planetarium again are spectacular.
Overall it was a great holiday and I would recommend JPL to anyone.
Fantastic experience. Amazing service from all staff, free and surprise upgrade, nice renovated room, great breakfast & fun area for kids. The only thing I could think of that is somewhat disappointing was that we could hear the people in the rooms beside us clearly. BUT that doesn t come close to ruining our experience. The staff really made it an amazing stay.
The view is fantastic and I loved that I could walk around the lake (1 hour +/-) and the path was well maintained. The main lodge was beautiful and the staff was friendly, I asked the housekeeper for peppermint tea and received it by special delivery in a golf cart about 10 minutes later. We were delighted by deer outside our cabin several times during our stay.
I was not impressed with the rooms at all, for the price I would expect something above basic, but I did not receive it. The rooms were very dated and I could clearly hear the conversations taking place in rooms on both sides of me, so do not expect privacy if you stay here. I stayed here in early May and the weather was around 10 degrees, but the rooms were very hot with not option of A/C! I ended up sleeping with the windows open. If it were summer I would have suffocated in my sleep from the heat. We got the buffet breakfast at Orzo and with tip it was $80 for two people! The breakfast was average and cold and I would have paid $20 for it at any other location. If I knew it was going to be that much, I would have gone back for seconds.
Overall I think 3 stars is generous, but if renos are taking place like i've read in a reply to another comment here, I hope that the state of the cabins will improve. I would not stay here on my own dollar if I was given a choice.
We went for lunch at the restaurant. Service was very good and attentive. Offered to take pictures for us immediately. And seemed happy to help us. The food and drinks were excellent
Food was expensive but worth it. The shuttle service was excellent. All the drivers were friendly. Pool is beautiful and the ucaliptis infused steam rooms were so relaxing and peaceful. The live entertainment up in the restaurant was magnificent, I believe his name was Neil Young. He played the classics and really created an positive vibe. The games room was so much fun for the family and the kids room had everything from blocks to colouring books. Overall a 5 star hotel definitely worth coming back.
