It's a beautiful place great weather nd luxury accommodations. Great place to let loose lol
I stayed there for one night on my way to Banff. The property is an stunning location, the food on the bar is good and the local IPA tasted great. Highly recommended for a relaxing day or two. I will certainly come back one day;) OH and the night sky on the south bank of the lake at 4am looks divine...
The Fairmont experience is something to be remembered. I planned a weekday visit for my wife and I to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary, and let the concierge know this when I booked. From the moment we pulled up in the driveway we were cared for as though royalty. Car parked for you. Bags whistled away to meet you at your room. A golf cart waiting for you to take you to your cabin. And for us, when we stepped in the front door, we were greeted with a gift from the choclatier.
There are a few different restaurants on the premises to choose from, all have wonderful service and over-the-top food quality. The faint of heart will waver a little over the food and drink prices, but you come to the Fairmont for high value, not for discount fare. To put it into perspective though, the cost of a night out with your date is no higher than a decent quality night out in Edmonton.
Lastly, the marvelous scenery makes this a must-do experience. A beautiful mountain lake with forested peaks nearby. Mountain air and peace. Just sit in one of the colorful lounge chairs and unwind while you watch the Canada geese float by. A quick trip to the ultra-professional spa afterwards ought to do the trick. I will be back.
Small rooms n bathrooms but place is gorgeous outside
Nothing to say other than that it has great everything.
The whole hotel is amazing. The rooms are very cute and look right over the lake! We sat outside and soaked up the sun which was so nice. Our server, Matthew, at the emerald lounge was awesome and took great care of us, food was also very very good! The bellmen were also extreamly helpful with recommending the local nightlife. Overall it was a magical experience
We were only here to eat, catch some elk and Rockies, and pretend we were teeing off on the first hole.
Regardless, the lunch and view was spectacular and I would be delighted to come back and play a round or stay for a week.
From arrival to departuread we were given the roral treatment. Great food, greater atmosphere. From sipping wine in our cosy cabin, cuddling up to the fire in the lodge. Sight seeing and Art galleries and specialty stores. Jasper was (and will be) a great place to stay. Next time, Symphony understeer Stars
Unforgettable experience in the Canadian Rockies. This lodge + resort is uniquely located on what feels like a private lake in the middle of the woods. At the same time, concierge service and luxury amenities are always available.
Walking around the huge property with our dog was incredible in the winter. Elk roam freely all around, so we made sure to keep the dog on a leash.
A dog pet-sitting service was available for when we headed into town for dinner, provided by one of their dog-loving staff. Well worth the additional pet fee.
The swimming pool, hot tub and fitness room were exceptionally clean and well equipped.
The mountains are very beautiful in the winter. Great unique experience in Jasper.
The hotel room costs CA $ 449 and is in poor condition, has broken parts and is dirty. They made us wait extra time to clean it and the bathroom is dirty. The heating mouth is detached from the floor. We have small children, this is dangerous. I have photos.

Spent two nights at this beautiful resort. The staff was extremely attentive and was very helpful with all questions and concerns. The amenities and atmosphere was unlike any other you might find. If you have an opportunity and can afford the stay, it is an experience you should take advantage of.
Amazing staff, service, and food. Always something to do.
Lovely nostalgic place -- easy to park in visitor parking and walk around the grounds. Had lunch at the Emerald Lounge. Comfortable and with a wide view. Main lobby has a beautiful stone fireplace. Another idea could be to go downstairs and pick up some to-go items and eat on the banks of the Lake. It is worth the stop.
Very good service, Very courteous staff, convenient location, amazing food and smiling people
Our visits here are simply for the views. Always incredible in this bit of Jasper. The cabins are amazing and the grounds worthy of a stroll. The river and mountains offer many opportunities for great photos. The Dark Skies week is definitely a good time to visit and if you can, catch the open aur performance of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra. Just breathe!
You definitely pay for what you get. Pricing seems astronomical, but the service and quality of food/drink/services makes it seem more reasonable.
Super friendly staff, delicious food, great conference venue. Beautiful views!
Great staff service, but cabin maintenance could be better.
The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is absolutely incredible. The staff are very friendly and helpful (make sure you ask them for local tips on what to do/where to go in the surrounding areas!) No matter which room or cabin you have, the accomodations are amazing - beds and linens are very comfortable and the rooms have pretty much everything you might need. The activities at JPL are always a great time, whether it's the planetarium or fat bikes or a swim in their beautiful outdoor heated pool. Highly recommend for any time of year!
I am a bias as I am an employee but when it comes to this location, if you are an avid hiker or a nature lover. Even if you want a beautiful view of the Rockies, this is the location for you. Prices are steep but you get what you pay for in luxury. The employees are very nice and the more experienced employees are pretty well versed in the area. I am just starting out but this location is a must for adventurers. Also make sure you rate and review us online so we can make your trip as pleasant as possible. Hope to see you in the future!
Just arrived at Fairmont Jasper Park. The resort is nicely located, but the first time in my life that dinner is not guaranteed in a 4/5 star hotel/resort. Even difficult finding a seat when waiting.... Estimate, we paid CAD 1000+; it is a joke.
Isaac and Angela were fantastic and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The service and the spectacular scenery of the Jasper Park Lodge will not disappoint.
Fairmont doubt. It's all good but the soap doesn't wash well ....
We ate at the Emerald Lounge, with wonderful views out the window, great service, and delicious food. Would definitely eat there again.
Stunning setting for a relaxing stay.
Great facilities, comfy accommodation, delicious food. Deffiantly try the bacon wrapped bison at the Nook.
Gorgeous scenary, along with outstanding service as well as the food and drink quality.
JPL has been a once a year destination for me for close to 10 years. The location is incredible and the scenery is amazing. Unfortunately the rooms and grounds are starting to really show their age . In the future we will take the time to select where we stay in the property when booking our room. It seems like everything close to the lake is maintained to a much higher standard. Lake views are where our cash will be spent going forward.
Very nice place, however the room was out dated and probably hadn't been renovated in 15+ years, for the price you pay they could invest some money back into the rooms... Then when I checked out the red head lady at the counter didn't even ask how my stay was, I don't even think she cared.
This property lives up to the Fairmont name and reputation, service above expectation. Excellent accommodations and well appointed common spaces. This is not just a hotel it is an experience. Located in the beautiful Jasper National park the views around the property are breathtaking in either winter or summer. The staff go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. Many activities available at the property that can keep you entertained for days. Highly recommended to any traveler!
Had a very sub-standard experience at this Fairmont property after staying at several other elite properties all over Canada. The rooms are over priced and are in need to upkeep and upgrades. The room service messed up almost all order during our stay and didn t do much to make up for their poor service. The location is fantastic, but for the exorbitant price for stay the service and property doesn t match the expected value.
Was amazing bed are super comfy and the Vries are sweet
Never been in the hotel rooms but I come every year to play pool and look at the view
Loved our stay at your hotel, truly enjoyed the charm, history and elegant room. Breathtaking scenery! This is a must to do the Canadian Rockies right. I'll have memories to cherish for a lifetime.
I can't say enough about this place. The employees are second to none.. seriously. Anything they can do to help is how they operate. The place it a bit dated but very clean. Prices are high but it's to be expected. I really enjoyed the steakhouse on site "mooses nook" I believe it is called. And the breakfast beffet was superb!
Check-in and out were seamless. I didn't even have get out of my car. They came out asked my name brought out my paperwork and escorted me to my room. I would definitely stay here again.
Had a fantastic stay here! The scenery is remarkable and the hospitality was top notch! Highly recommend spending the extra bit of dough and spoiling yourself!
Absolutely adorable stay. The best experience during my trips and a cherry on top every time I visit is Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. A+ for service and hospitality.
Loved every minute of it! We stayed here on our way to Sheridan Lake, BC, and I did NOT want to leave. It is possibly my favourite place on the planet.
Lovely grounds. Very comfortable beds, great staff.
The overall experience was fantastic, I'd come back again when I'm in Jasper.
The room I got was beautiful and had the view of the lake and the mountain right outside the window. All the staff I encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. There was a little visitor in my room during midnight, and they were able to take care of it promptly. I was really impressed by their services.
Also, the water quality was fantastic! I strongly recommend to make tea with it.
We visited the grounds at the lodge as our daughter got married at Pyramid Lake unfortunately our family could, not afford to spend the night here, but we drove up to take some pictures around the beautiful lake .As we were walking a very friendly guy driving a golf cart approached us and asked if we wanted a ride, most of us could fit in and some of us couldnt and just walked down to the lake. This gentleman named Paddy was unbelievable!,He showed us where to go to take our photos. After taking some pictures we all went inside to use the washrooms as we were walking by the front lobby we were approached again by the same gentleman he was telling my 2 grandkids a story than asked them if they could open up a trunk that was in the lobby , the kids were excited to help him open the trunk and was very surprised to see it had some trinkets in it .He let all 4 kids pick out something. His customer service experience was remarkable. Even know we were not a guest there he treated us like we were just as important. I do hope in writing this review that he gets acknowledged by the management team .Thank you again Paddy you made our day
A wonderful stay as usual. Delicious food, picturesque location, and impecable service.
It's ambience and good service. Love to visit again.
As always the Jasper Park Lodge was a very enjoyable experience with the staff being the highlight, very helpful as always
Great place to stay. Love how they make you feel at home, very cozy and comfortable. All the staff were absolutely amazing. Can't wait to go back.
Beautiful hotel, great views. And honestly, the best meal I've had my entire trip to Alberta. I had the mussels and chips and they were to die for. Family members also thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The lemon cheesecake dessert was super moist and fantastic.
Wonderful stay! Loved our cabin room facing towards the lake! Beautiful sitting area in cabin room, and also wonderful layout, great ambience. Difficulties with parking nearby to site (valet parking may be a better option), also disliked having the walking path right outside cabin (could be closer to lake instead). Otherwise, great resort, nice to have pool on site but could be open longer hours. Loved the vast amount of walking trails surrounding property and ease of access to Jasper townsite!
Had a great stay in jasper park lodge. Want to give a big shout out to Evelyn who works at the Em to go. She greeted us every morning and always very professional and efficient. There was a bit of a hiccup during payment on our last day, but she was very patient and kind and it was solved quickly. She even wrote us a little warm note wishing us a safe trip home. Thank you for making our stay memorable!
It was a memorable experience, skating on the frozen pond dwarfed by mountains
Such a beautiful place to stay, everything is perfect when you leave. That pool is incredible.
Best time ever. Beautiful view awesome Staffan great function
Lovely setting, very nice hotels amenities, friendly staff.
Just spent the long weekend at JPL. Not impressed that the "nicest" lodge/hotel in Jasper does not have air conditioning in 75% of it's rooms. The temperature in the room was 31 degrees both nights so good luck sleeping. $500 a night for a room without AC in summer is a joke. I will not be returning.
We attended for a wedding, which was booked outside by the lake, but had an alternate location booked indoors in case of rain. It began pouring just before the ceremony, and instead of quickly moving everyone inside (which wouldn't have taken long or much effort), staff just brought out umbrellas. It was pouring. No one could actually see the bride and groom, who were drenched, because umbrellas were all in the way and everyone was wet and cold.
Nice accommodations and the staff are always nice and courteous. The views from the walking paths around the hotel are gorgeous.
Accomodation s were excellent, but don't stick around for the food or drink incredibly overpriced for what you get. Quality is no better than your local pub at double the cost. I suggest heading to Jasper brewing or evil Dave's for great eats at a good price.
Fantastic service and clean comfy room, upgraded to a queen suite
Gorgeous hotel, spa and health club facilities were very impressive, and lovely service. Only sour note was the hottub was out of order for our entire trip.
Amazing scenery, great accommodations and fantastic employees!
Absolutely wonderful. Wish we could have stayed longer. Setting was beautiful, rooms nice, and food was out of this world. Will definitely come back some day.
We attended the new years eve party and had a blast!
I used to work here a number of years ago and returned for my two good friends wedding. The renovations and money they've put into the lodge in the past 4 years is incredible, it was great being able to return as a guest and experience the resort from a whole different perspective. The wedding was gorgeous too, the service was excellent, and we couldn't have had better weather if we tried! Thanks for a lovely weekend
Duck confit poutine is the new Canadian pasta. Please eat this it's amazing. The sushi place is good too. Make reservations a few days in advance.
I came to Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge to surprise my daughter for Christmas. She works in housekeeping there and didn't know I was coming. Upon arrival, I was astounded by the beauty of the mountains and the Fairmount property. It was almost like a Norman Rockwell painting - as I drove in there were elk on the left and a skating rink on the right. A true Canadian winter! The staff was most friendly in greeting me and providing me with information on my stay. They even invited me to the carol sing and church service for the following night even though I'd already be checked out by then! The weather was a frigid -25 but you would never know in my warm and cozy, cabin style room which included all the amenities I needed and more. During my stay I enjoyed a skate on the rink, a walk around Lac Beauvert, photographing the wildlife and landscape and the Christmas eve festivities. I balked at the price of my stay initially but I now see that it was worth every penny. My time at Jasper Park Lodge was truly an experience and it's clear that the staff work hard to go above and beyond in their care for patrons!
Very nice but also very expensive... a true rustic Western feel with all the amenities you could ever wish for. Be prepared and have deep pockets... if not then there are other accommodations available in Jasper and area.
The Fairmont never fails to impress. It is wonderfully set up for kids at Christmas. We will definately be back.
Awsome service, fantastic scenery, "Rustic" accommodations. Also Horrifically expensive.
Super scenic, great food. Expensive but that should be expected. You are paying for the ambiance but it is really nice.
Just got downgraded with no warning ... No a/c after downgrade ... Out of main building ... Booked 6 months ago ... With very specific requirements ... No help, no warning ... They couldn't even call me before I got there ... A very very disappointing experience!!!
I went here as a wedding guest. It was very fancy and very pricey. I ordered a singapore sling at the bar, and it cost $19. Should have got a highball. Half that price. The bride and groom also had to pay for their own drinks. Thw view was very nice though. Beautiful mountains and lakes. Elk grazing outside. All in all, if you're super rich and want to go to Jasper, this is beautiful. But if not, then book at the Best Western in town and bring your own canoe and hiking boots.
Ten star quality here.... Best new year holiday EVER
The food was good and the server was friendly. The view was beautiful.
Cabins need Reno s were dirty & small for price.
Grounds are amazing
Only stayed for a quick one night stop over. Facilities feel a bit outdated with a 60s ski lodge vibe. Wasn't there long enough to check out all facilities, but everything was nice and service friendly.
Fabulous resort, views, canoeing on the lake, magnificent accommodation and food.
Fantastic hotel in one of the most beautiful mountainscapes on Earth. The buildings are all traditional-looking log cabins, which gives the grounds a cozy feel. Lots of activities onsite including skating, tobogganing, kids' crafts, and a salon/spa. Amazing service by incredibly friendly staff from all over the world.
Wonderful place to stay over the December holidays as the resort is decorated with Christmas trees, wreaths, lights, and even a huge gingerbread house in the main lodge. They also have a fabulous Christmas buffet with lots of delicious options and live music.
There's even a resident dog, Stanley, and lots of guests bring their dogs to stay, which light up the main lodge.
Enjoying our stay here. Wildlife running around the property is great. Food a bit overpriced in the restaurants. I recommend you bring own food unless money is no object.
