Looks like this is the Worst Airport in India. It is only building but there is No cleaning. Garbage everywhere. No maintenance. Toilets are just zero standards. Looks like airport authorities and staff are sleeping only not working.
Waiting Seats are dirty, pieces of food and garbage everywhere.

Very sad to see this low quality airport.

My request to airport authorities is to see the quality of other airports and compare yourself. This airport needs too much of improvement in terms and cleaningness and hygiene.

This is just as basic as a bus stand "bas adda"

I also request the passengers also not to speard litter in airport. It's your airport keep it clean also.

I've been here thrice. This is a good airport, all facilities are available. But needs to be extended. The length of the first runway (01R/19L) is around 3.6 km whereas the length of the second runway (01L/19R) is 2.8 km. The 2nd runway (01L/19R) is needed to be extended at whatever cost. This will add beauty and reputation to this airport.

Hopeless airport ... luggage never comes on time... it always taken at least 25-30 mins fir luggage to arrive at belt

This is a world class international airport with all the state of the art facilities. The architecture, decor and ambience are fascinating. The airport is energy efficient. There are facilities for swearage treatment and recycling and reuse of treated water. The airport has it's own power back up system. It's a very busy airport. However only a few international flights take off from here.

This is one of worst airports i have visited. The food is pathetic and so is the service. The international transfer customs is horrendous. They are sooooooper lazy and have no common sense. The currency exchange are cheaters. They charge you double the rate outside. I wish i could give them 0 rating.

Netaji subhas Chandra Bose airport OMG telling my story what happened with me last year actually that day before 3 and 4 days I simply talk my sister for raksha bandhan so she is asking me you coming my home to raksha bandhan so I said no I can't because I am in Bangalore and she is leaving Kolkata .. she forgot and I remember that how to go and give surprise to my sister so my friend was tell why you not Goa by flight one day before raksha bandhan give surprise to your sister so that evening I book online flight ticket and I reach international airport Bangalore first time I am very nervous and very like not comfortable what happened how do I go and morning only that flight I have so I forgot everything and enter the airport my friends also come there also full happy with me they taking selfie and uploaded Facebook after that I go inside it is very good feels and clean everywhere everything and you can ask that policeman tell you where you go after I reach in Kolkata and meet to sister she very very happy to see me in raksha bandhan IAM very happy on the day in raksha bandhan thank you so much flight only flight because of that dream comes true only one day thank you so much flight money is not important that happiness important

It is a very nice airport with nice fast food stores inside it and many shopping stores with branded products and many things. It has too many gates to aeroplane, It is amazing just visit it. Taking about the arrivals it has fountains and well clean washroom outside the terminal there are many food stalls. Just visit it. Thank You

Modern international airport with lots of facilities

Nice airport nice place but food is expensive in airport but airport is good.
But food price is higher than normal. View is awesome. Nice place nice airport.

Worst calling facility..............Have tried to contact since morning till night no response

One of the best airport in India. Travelled thrice via this airport, overall good experience. But don't like the pick up, pick in system. Shops are available, not happy about the pricing as usual. If you are visiting via personal car stay alert about the parking timing and pick up, pick in timing. Security is good and don't forget about IDs, atleast carry aadhar card, or pan card.
Restaurants are available.

New airport is international standard. Good facility. Cleanliness is key of the airport.

Place is well maintained. Enough open spaces for people to sit even before security checking . The waiting areas are just beside the flight taxi and parking area so the views are good.

But like any other airport the food is overpriced and one is forced to buy drinking water as the one that is free is not good enough.It could do better with other options for food.

Clean and well maintained airport. Security clearance could be speeded up by making the availability of trays more efficient. The process is automated, yet queues build up because trays are not available. This, during limited travel- covid sceanrio.

Still needs improvement as compared to other Metro City airports in India.

To get baggage from this Airport is a task. Normally we have wait for 35 to 60 mins. Today
again, we landed at 8.33 pm and no luggage till 9.35 pm. And no one seems to bother.
Horrible.
On the contrary, if you get delayed by even 2 mins they will not give you boarding pass... Airlines like Air India.

A well maintained airport. If you want a low budget cab, just go for prepaid taxi (near exit gate 3C) before coming out of the terminal. You may opt for AC buses ( near exit gate 1) which connects to different parts of the city. Well, ola and uber can be obtained from bear gate 3B, 2B.

One of the best airport of India. Well written everything in English Hindi as well Bengla. Just a advice to airport authority to put the entry gate more and the airlines counter should be more to ease of passenger. Rest all are well arranged and people were very sweet and helping hand. One of busiest, cleanest and finest Airports in India .

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport is one of the very clean airport I found in India. Good number of free spaces for walking and they organizes the airport very well. I never feel any problem on airport. Staffs are very friendly. Price of the foods are not very expensive. Food quality is very good in reasonable price. I recommended to take a Cappuccino Coffee. Test of the coffee was very good. Very clean washroom.

Not the best, but definately a very good airport. Excellent in terms of passenger relaxation, service and cleanliness. The newly made terminal is a blend of modern architecture with Bengal's culture and heritage. The airport looks pretty lavish. However, keeping in mind the increase in the number of passengers there is either need for extension of this airport further or there is need for a new airport in the city very soon. Proposed metro projects if accomplished, no doubt will make it more convenient and economical for the passengers affording air facilities from different parts of the city.

I loved this airport. It's large and beautiful and artistic. The staff were very helpful and when you check in you can just chill and relax. The airport isn't that crowded either which makes it nice and peaceful.

I love kol airport but there should be few boarding pass machines outside like Delhi airport

The best airport in east region, the air port is very clean, big n busest also.. New terminal will open very soon. Their toilets are lavish.. Its international code is CCU. I fly from CCU many times n i love the place.

The airport facilities are great and it's an airport with minimal announcements. Moreover, with multiple security check in gates. You are sure to get in faster.

One of the best airports. It is not less than Delhi or Hyderabad airport. Spacious, multiple shop/food joints. I have always spent less time at the security counter at this airport even when a good number of people are travelling. Over all nice Experience.

One of the biggest airport in India. The airport is very net and clean. This one the busy airport also all the time's peoples are roaming around & take the flight. This is an International airport so many peoples come to take domestic & International flight. The main gate of the airport was very big. The interior design just mind-blowing you can enjoy roaming around into airport. The staff behaviour was not good for me last months one of the Indian police airport staff rude behave with me. I mistake a small thing but he getting me very rude & use slang which is a shame for me. Afterall everything is well. You can find a taxi from the main gate all time time. It is various air companies like Vistara, Indigo, Air Asia, Spicejet, Go Air, Alliance air bla bla. There is you find various food shop where various types of food like coffee, burger, chocolate, sandwich, juice but price is a bit high. The scenario of this airport just marvellous you can enjoy and never bored to stay there.

Just landed a 787 inbound from Dubai. Very smooth landing and professional ATC made everything a breeze. The area looks beautiful from above. Highly recommend!

Simply Awesome Airport. It has many Lounges and it's waiting area is Huge.
Though Security check takes a little bit of time but slowly it is improving.The main problem in this airport is that in the Arrival your luggage takes approximately 30mins to just reach you via the belt (Specially During Night time in the Domestic Arrival). Otherwise it has many places to eat inside the terminal.

Digital payment is not accepted by the coffee more inside Airport Kolkata. PMO plz attention? Rejecting digital India? Harrasesd?

The Calcutta International Airport is named after immortal freedom fighter, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. The airport is situated at Dumdum, a suburb at the junction of Kolkata and North 24 Parganas covering a large sq. kms area. It has two separate terminals - Terminal 1 for the domestic transactions, and the newly built Terminal 2 mainly dedicated for international transactions of travelers. The airport is well maintained from the aspect of cleanliness, security, quality of view and customer management. One can have beautiful view of airbuses taking off, or landing on the runway just like a bird at the airport, or in its neighborhood areas such as Dumdum Cantonment, Madhyamgram, VIP Road, Birati or Durganagar.

it's a truly international airport now after the new terminal was established. I've never faced hiccups while traveling from here. Huge space,nice decoration. There is just one issue,the issue is jessore road has no direct connection with the airport via public transport.And there is no flyover to dissipate the huge amount of traffic from koikhali to Gate 3.There is a huge parking space outside for private vehicles.

except some employees of some thai smile do not seem to have much of idea about their own flights. I had to keep running about for like 20 minutes in the airport for their misinformation.

Magnificent entrances, neat and tidy lobbies, very well maintained airport. Staffs are helpful.

Chairs are not so neatly maintained. Must try food from Curry Kitchen. If you are new to city better to try food in airport and roaming in the airport, don't prefer outside roaming(Heat and dirty)

Everythings fine but the only thing which moved me was that the aquarium opposite to gate number 23 departures in which the fishes are dying one of them has already died because of lack of care, whether the water changing mechanism of the aquarium has failed or they are not provided with proper food either take them away or take care properly such a thing is so inhuman. I would request the concerned authorities to take over this matter thank you.

The airport is actually very well planned. There are ample amount of seating spaces unlike other Indian airports. I found the airport staff well behaved and very helpful. I just felt it required more state of the art installation representing the heritage and beauty of Kolkata. It's clean.

Compared to how it was few years back, it has improved a lot when I saw it early July

I liked the fact that drop in baggage also needs to be screened, it adds extra. Cleanliness is there but needs to set up more restrooms near boarding gates.

Airport and airlines staff are friendly and helpful.

Security check ins are hassle-free, though the tip is to come a bit early to avoid last minute hurry and rush.

A well managed airport with all amenities for travelers

Really nice airport but limited number of shops in food court. Service is good and security is top notch too. Situated close to the city too. The view of the Aeroplanes when waiting to board is nice since there's no blocking. Not really a big airport but reasonable size and good service.

this airport is nice but compared to other airports needs better management and cleanliness, the area outside the airport also needs beautification and proper signboards. i don't understand the point of taxis standing in the no-parking area even after dropping off the passengers.

One of the best and busiest airport of India. This place really amuses me whenever I there. Interior is beautifully built and consists of all the modern facilities which an International airport should have. The staffs are really helpful. I would like to see more fooding options in the near future.

Unnecessary cold air conditioner everywhere....why can't the AC be maintained according to human resistance....or according to the outside climate....like a lilltle warm if it's very cold outside.....I always get fever evrytime I came here.....never normal AC .

It's good and being an international airport, maintains the standards and protocols. However, because of the high passenger concentration the check in time and boarding times are quite long. Overall, it's among one of the biggest and largest airports of India.
