It's one of the busiest airports of India. I felt that it was overcrowded not because of people, but due to lack of space and unorganised when it comes to placement of checkin baggage kiosks and security checkins. Rest all was a good experience.

Decent Airport, but you can not compare it with Delhi airport not well connected Metro, almost 8 km far from Dumdum Metro.
This is DOMESTIC & INTERNATIONAL airport ok Kolkata In a same building so inter transfar is very easy. Just from 1st flood to ground floor. UBER service is the best option. Otherwise walk 7 minutes to main road ( bypass road ) & lots of busses available to city but be careful of over crowd.

Clean airport and relatively less crowded irrespective of its location. Extremely bad behaviour of the staffs running the prepaid taxi booth at the airport. App based taxi service is available but charges are relatively higher than Delhi and Mumbai. Seating arrangement is inadequate at the departure gates. Poor precautions for COVID 19 could be seen at the airport. Thermal check and spraying disinfectant partially on the check in luggage would be hardly helpful in reducing the risk.

Very big infrastructure. .food courts are amazing ..KFC, subway all available. But no wash area around food court and poor wash facility in wash room..ridiculous behaviour of cleaning staffs towards passengers..every happy expectation towards Kolkata changed in 1 sec ..thanks to that cleaning staff!

Not the best, but definately a very good airport. Excellent in terms of passenger relaxation, service and cleanliness. The newly made terminal is a blend of modern architecture with Bengal's culture and heritage. The airport looks pretty lavish. However, keeping in mind the increase in the number of passengers there is either need for extension of this airport further or there is need for a new airport in the city very soon. Proposed metro projects if accomplished, no doubt will make it more convenient and economical for the passengers affording air facilities from different parts of the city.

This airport is properly placed in kolkata. It's really big and majestic but underestimated, I don't know why? It has got all desired facilities as space, food, adequate toilets, wash sinks, entertainment, all kinds of shops and onsite stuffs. You will never feel bored when waiting for your flight.
Nice , big and spacious airport. The best in Eastern India. You can buy novels, food etc. But food is costly. There is a restaurant outside which is not costly nearby to the airport. Aeroplanes are available for some foreign countries. It is situated little outside the city at Dumdum. There are AC buses directly from howrah railway station and some other places.

Well connected to the city. Not far from city centre. Food stalls inside very costly. Within 500 metres, no.of eateries available with cheap price. Adjacent a Volvo bus stand. Besides that prepaid taxi counters also there. However if you know your destination properly than Uber is the best option.

I love this place because because of connectivity of International and Domestic flights and terminal and also immigration is very easy and fast and also domestic and trains and immigration curity check is gold fast and of every facility is working and every few step you have water fountain and toilet so it is very near and easy have to go with the child and all and there is enough food stalls available there is a food Mall in also enough of shopping good acidity good air conditioning and good walk away Elevators staircases and all high security I can see mobile chargers Everywhere TV everywhere infocenter everywhere it's very good

This airport is among the key airports of India. Environment is very peaceful. Lots of security check counters ease the process of security check. Shops here are also very good. If you want to taste famous Bengali sweets than you can have it at the some of the sweet shops here. Staff is also helping and friendly. Just interior of this airport is not so good if compared to Delhi and Mumbai airports.
