Yesterday I went to #NetajiSubhashChandraBose #InternationalAirport with my 2 scooter and they cut the challen of Rs 20 for entery is this legal . Where 4 wheelers having free entery .

A really neat and well-maintained Airport. While you're there, don't forget to buy some sweets from Banchharams! I personally recommend Sankh, Gur Ball and Butter Scotch Sandesh.

Also, the guest rooms are as luxurious as five star hotels!

Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport (IATA: CCU, ICAO: VECC) is an international airport is located approximately 17 km approx from the city center. The airport was earlier known as Dum Dum Airport
Food stall and shopping, massage center etc.. there are many domestic and international flights are takeoff and landing everyday.

History:
Kolkata airport traditionally served as a strategic stopover on the air route from Europe to Indochina and Australia.

The airport began as an open ground next to the Royal Artillery Armoury in Dum Dum. Sir Stanley Jackson, Governor of Bengal, opened the Bengal Flying Club at Calcutta aerodrome in February 1929.

Bengalis are the most descent and well behaved people. I love being with Bengalis.

This is good international Airport having metro and bus connectivity with exit and entrance here. flyover make it less traffic. International and domestic both serve at here. Very clean with professionalism in managing. Metro and road communication make it easier. Lot of parking space at here. Pre paid taxi system also. Schedule and service good as well.

Had a great experience in the Kolkata airport The staffs are so friendly. The Airport manager attends to all the queries personally.

New Airport do have all the modern amenity. Security panel is more advance and modern. Kolkata view during take-off.

Very nice airport good connection with the capital delhi and many domestic airports from here i travelled twice once to jaipur and to chennai the airport have lavish shops inside very interstung and also huge place and memory of netaji subhash chandra bose

Below average standard of service. Security personnel simply assume you know Hindi if you just look like them. Mostly rude!

Clean airport. Lots of food available. Good service. Good connectivity by road.

Constructions for new shops is going there. Basic facilities are available but could have been better.

How is it possible to have an International Airport without Baby Care rooms available.

Good transportation facilities available here and quick services. Sharing picture outside the airport where you can find either prepaid taxi, Ola Uber, taxi and buses to reach your destination.

Very bad experience. Bad staff. If there is -ve review for starring I would like to give negative stars. Only one mobile set I have left by mistake and time to left this was just 5 minutes and they are not ready to hand over to spicejet authority . .. ...Why they Harrase the people....... They are not ready to talk also. So much negative attitude from all airport authority members

Smaller airport comparing to many other non metro city airports in India as well. Not many options to buy food or duty free shops. Definately much better than the older terminal, especially the international arrival portion.

One of the biggest airport in India situated eastern part of the country. Now it becomes the 4th busiest aviation hub in South Asia.

New terminal building constructed few years ago makes the airport more attractive & traveler s friendly.

There are some fields where the airport authorities should work on it, such as cleanliness of toilets. The airport is improving day by day as per international standard.

Spacious two places one domestic and one international choose terminal 2 NSCBI during ola Uber cab tell them clearly for domestic one else u might end up in international .

Great experience at the airport. City Bus service is within close proximity of the airport and amenities are pretty good.

I really love this beautiful airport, everything perfect. Staff management is super quality , everything is need and clean. in lifetime without visiting tis airport is incomplete! If time permits I will surely take my opportunity to visit again soon.one of the best airport I had ever visit.

Communications inadequate

Nice. Strong security with no harrassment. The airport staffs are so polite and helpful. During COVID situation they are also in duty with faithful face. Thank you to them who make our journey so smooth with great help.

Good infrastructure, and well connected to the city. The lounge is good and so are a number of other bars and restaurants inside the airport.

The airport is spic and span and there are big brands to shop if you have time. The food court serves nice food and there are sweet shops to buy authentic Kolkata sweets, though rasgulla is not allowed.

It is a better than decent airport and is huge (atleast I felt so). The dining amenities that are present are fully fledged and are good. The only issue that comes to my mind is the below par customer service. They do not have facility for lounge for customers waiting in the departure (pre check in area) and it certainly is a downfall when you consider such a large airport.

This one maintained by AAI, is a clean, well maintained airport with domestic and international wing. You may travel to various domestic places like Delhi, patna, Guwahati, Bhopal, indore, raipur, chennai, mumbai, goa, etc alongwith some international destinations like London (recently added).

Beautifully decorated airport with lots of facilities inside the building.. Upgraded technology allows travellers to have full information and good time. Some good shopping options and cafeterias with a beverage counter makes it a nice place to be in while traveling.
