Often with recruiters, if you call in without first emailing them or having spoken recently, they will not recall you, your background and what roles you are seeking. This is not the experience I had with EST10. Amazing recruitment agency! The ladies who work here are so genuine and honest, which is really refreshing within the recruitment industry. Rox and her team at est10 (I dealt with the lovely Jess Pehl) are the most reliable, diligent and on-the-ball recruitment agents I ve had the pleasure of dealing with in Sydney (and I ve communicated with half a dozen agencies here). Some agencies seem to want to place you with any business but I could tell they really care about it being about a mutual match. Another agency that you will waste your time registering with. The job you apply for online and will possibly have a subsequent interview with does not exist, though they are pretty fast to get you to waste time in doing skills testing and providing references. Applied for a number of jobs with this agency and it is always the same story, they can't give you a J.D nor the name of the company and you will never hear back from them.

There is no other recruitment agency I would recommend more highly than Rox and the ladies at Est10. Having been part of the EST team for six years myself and leaving as Principal Consultant, I can hand on heart say in order to do well at Est you have to 100% have strong values. Integrity is an absolute non negotiable and Rox has always pushed this with her team for as long I can remember.
Taking the time to get to know candidates and what makes them tick is paramount, at Est majority of our work came via referral and many of these were candidates we placed but a lot of the time they were candidates we didn t place, who just enjoyed our style and the honesty that came with it.
From a client perspective we always went over and above and there were many late nights but it was all worth it when you did the job to perfection. One thing I loved was that we offered genuine experience and knowledge to our clients, having the confidence to actually consult not just write a list of criteria to fill a vacancy. Although we matched on the necessary skills of course, we placed more on personality and culture Fit which clients loved.
As far as the actual EST10 office culture goes, you can t beat it, it s fun, it s supportive and everyone chips in whenever you need an extra hand, it's a true team. The wins are celebrated together and its infectious but you do have to work hard in order to do well. Rox ALWAYS pushes you to do your best and personal development is ongoing throughout, from the day you arrive to the day you leave. If I hadn t moved abroad I would absolutely still be with Est10, I miss the girls immensely!

The team is dedicated and hard working, going above and beyond for both candidates and clients. If something needs completing or a job needs filling they will be in at weekends, working long hours to make sure they have the perfect candidate. When you work for EST10 you are proud to be part of an amazing company. Roxanne the MD is one of a kind and so supportive! Although I didn't get a placement through est10, my dealings with Victoria Goldie were excellent. She was so professional and actually cared if I found a role or not and put me forward to multiple roles she was working on. I have dealt with other recruiters before and they only ever put you forward to the one role you apply for (even if they have others of interest) or they call you in for an interview then tell you the role you applied for has been filled and they will call you if they have anything suitable (not only do they waste your time but they never call) Victoria was different, she actually took the time out to go through other possibilities/roles. It's very rare to find good recruiters when you are a candidate, i'll be recommending her for sure!

I found EST10 to be very professional and so helpful in terms of assisting me with my move to London. Whilst I only had limited comms with the team at EST1O, what I did receive was professionalism and a willingness to listen.. something lacking in a fair few recruitment companies. Ultimately I was placed in a role through my own endeavours but would recommend EST10 as a company that appears willing to go that bit extra.

Back to back appointments with candidates. I disagree with the below reviews and I believe you are just another number. Which would be fine if they actually gave you work.... or responded to your emails from time to time. They seem to set up meetings with you with an inexperienced 20 something year old who has no recruitment experience. They get you in for an interview after applying for a role, during that interview they briefly go through your resume, get you to sign something and there is no mention of the role you originally applied for, which makes me wonder whether they actually have work available or are full of it. Don't waste your time there are better recruitment agencies out there who actually give you work.

Also the response from the managing director is a joke. I have records of emails I've sent to their representatives, I love how she says the standard 'we did an extensive IT search' no you didn't because then you would have found the emails. Thanks for accusing me of being a liar. How lovely, is this how you treat your candidates? Maybe if you got off google reviews and actually did some work in finding jobs for your candidates I may have given a better rating. Also inexperience is inexperience doesn't matter if they are 30 or 20. I believe you actually pay people to write the below reviews because your recruitment agency is rubbish and I stand by my first review.
