Fantastic massage with my girlfriend on our anniversary! Couldn't have asked for more!

My overall experience was good. My mother and I went and the massage was very relaxing. The receptionist was polite and pleasant and so was my masseur. My mother wanted eucalyptus aroma therapy but was offered lavender; afterwards we saw eucalyptus for sale outside. My issue though is the linen for the massage tables. They didn t look or smell fresh and the face cradle was funky. They should use disposable face cradle covers. They are very cheap! An arm rest on the massage table would have been more comfortable as well.

My boyfriend and I randomly googled searched a massage place located near our hotel in Orlando and came across this hidden gem. Our couples massage was perfection. The massage therapists were very professional and genuinely cared to accommodate your specific requests. It was a rejuvenating and relaxing first experience! Thank you for outstanding service! We will return definitely!

Nightmare ! Massage therapist had no clue what they were doing and so injured my mom..you can get a cheap massage anywhere dont risk your health here.

I haven t been feeling well lately, mostly because of too much things that had to be finished, stress, and walking for long distances to lose weight, and clear my mind. I scheduled an appointment yesterday, and met my massage therapist for the first time. Let me just tell you, I ve never felt so un-knotted in a veryyy long time! My muscles finally felt good again after my session. My knees does not hurt anymore, what I thought was carpal tunnel syndrome was gone immediately after Lucy Z. worked her magic on me. Everything feels light right now, and I can actually move like a normal person again. I forgot how that felt like because I ve been moving like a 70 year old grandma because of all the tightness in my entire body. Do yourselves a favor and book an appointment ASAP, and ask for Lucy Z! You're welcome!

I have anxiety so I try to get massages often in order to help with this... I actually purchased a Groupon for a massage with hot stones and pineapple foot scrub (they honor the same price in-spa so you dont need to buy the groupon).. the waiting area is beautiful. Its very spa-like but with natural light and its very relaxing and CLEAN. (The entire place was spotless). The front desk ladies were very welcoming and courteous and after filling out my paperwork i was taken right back. I had Jermaine and he was PHENOMENAL. I tend to like to stay face down the entire massage bc i relax more this way and some masseuses arent used to this but he jumped right in with no problems. They have 4 or 5 choices for aromatherapy and each is very different. I fell in love with one of the scents! The products that they use are very good quality and smell delicious. Jermaines pressure was perfect and since i collect a lot of tension between my shoulderblades this is where we left the hot stones while he continued with a swedish. Everything was excellent from the time I walked in until the time I left and I will DEFINITELY be coming back. Thank you so much Essentials Spa!

We ve been loyal customers for over a year and a half and these last two experiences have been horrible. My wife s microblading was horribly done (even after waiting the time frame and they plucked her eyebrows without her knowing and did not do the design like my wife asked and lady kept saying no, you ll look better this way - which she didn t ) and I booked us massages for our anniversary, show up, and the receptionist says oh, I only see yours. Wait a minute - I see they put you both in here and see the note but no masseuse was put on it and I m sorry but we don t have anyone available. Owner has not responded back to us and did not call us back when we were told she would. Extremely disappointed that as we have tried to explain the situation and are understood , that nothing has been done and there has been no remedy. I no longer trust this place and will spend a little more money for a better experience.

Very beautifully decorated and clean spa facility. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We got couples massage and facials. Both were amazing and the prices are very affordable. I usually go to massage envy and hand & stone but this spa is far better than them. I would say its one of the best spa in orlando.. i definitely recommend this place

Horrible.
I m so disappointed that I paid 218 for two massages and facials and expected it to be fantastic.
The waiting room is super small, the receptionist kept repeating herself and kept asking us which services we had instead of confirming it off the bat.
The massage for my husband was not good and they did not listen to his complaints.
And my facial , omg.
I walked in there with minor issues and walked out with my face looking 5x worse and it was painful!
My massage wasn t as bad but we still walked out of there unsatisfied.
Just so much money to not get the results you were hoping for is just horrible.

I have been to Essentials Spa a handful of times and I am never disappointed. From the price to the massage therapists, to the cleanliness and friendliness, I LOVE this place. Rochelle is my go to gal for my massages. She communicates what to expect and asks if you're feeling relaxed and comfortable. I moved to Lake Nona and I still make the 30 min trip to get my massage at this location.

On vacation from Chicago we decided to have a spa day package. We saw the reviews online and thought we would give it a shot. This place was great!! The front desk staff was very friendly and a lot of fun. Everyone we had services from were great. And The prices are surprisingly affordable. For only $109 you get massage, facial, Mani-pedi and complimentary glass of wine with crackers. We would highly recommend this place !! You wont be disappointed!

My boyfriend and I did the Valentine's package for a couples massage, and it was amazing! It was a great experience from when you walk in the door until you leave. We went in a room together where they had rose petals on the floor and fake candles lit around the room. The tables we laid on were heated, and it felt like a nice weighted blanket was placed over you. My boyfriend actually passed out for the last 10 minutes. after the massage was over, we were placed in a room where we were able to relax for a few minutes, drink a glass of wine, and eat some chocolate! 10 out of 10 would recommend and do it again. :)

I had a wonderful experience the therapist were welcoming and knew what they were doing I told my therapist I work out a lot and that my body s always pretty sore....she felt around and hit all the right spot I ll definitely be Back great experience

If they tell you it's a 60min massage, it's really only 40min. If you pay for a deep dissue massage, they give you a sweetish massage for half the time you're there. Which is actually 20min wasted for an up charge of $10. Also the masseuse I had sucked. She even bopped my head after asking me how the pressure was cause I couldn't hear her. But my girlfriends massage was great. James

Caitlyn is amazing and a must see. She very knowledgeable and focuses on just the right spots. Im so happy I found this place. I wouldnt see anyone but her.

It was good. Back was sore afterwards though. Had to tell her to loosen up.

Where do I start??....making an appointment was very easy they confirmed my appointment day before I was running late they even gave me a call the owner is very nice I spoke with her each time...they are prompt professional and wonderful the prices are very reasonable the decor is to die for the energy and atmosphere feels like an spa everything was well behind my expectations. Jermaine was wonderful he made me feel very comfortable this will definitely be my new spa place I did the full body massage hot stone aromatherapy the product they use are very good and soothing products

My spouse and I absolutely LOVE this place! Every time we visit Orlando we try to go here for a massage. The staff are professional, the facility is clean, the prices are very reasonable, and all the therapists we've encountered thus far have been amazing. We always leave relaxed, satisfied, and counting down the time until our next visit. I highly recommend their services!

It was wonderful. The place is nice, clean, and welcoming. The staff is professional and courtesy. It was an amazing experience! I'm not a huge fan of being touched but I definitely plan on going back.

Couples massage was very relaxing. My husband had a hot stone massage and I had a prenatal massage. My only issue was during my prenatal massage I was told to lay on my side and given a pillow for between my legs but not for my head, which was pretty uncomfortable and hard to relax. Other than that we enjoyed ourselves.

We visited this place after finding a deal in Groupon. It is located in Metrowest which for us was less than 5 min away.
It is located behind some office buildings, and the sign is not the most bright nor big, so you have to drive around a little bit to find this Salon and Spa for the first time.
The "hostess" who received us was extremely pleasant and helped us through the process of being new and dealing with the Groupon.
Most places are not happy to see Groupon vouchers -even though they sign for the program- but I truly appreciated being welcomed no matter what.
We had a 1 hour couples massage with Rodrigo and Lissette, they were also extremely nice and welcoming and listened to our needs.
After 45 min (it's not really an hour) we were relaxed and feeling good, which was our objective today. My husband even fell asleep so comfortable he was.
I know now they're a salon and I will most definitely come back to try other services as well.

The location was a little hidden. But once you enter, the atmosphere was very relaxing. I had Jermaine as my massage person. He was super amazing. Very attentive, he focus on my problem area, he listen and ask the questions to help me. Can't say enough, definitely going again.

Faye is an awesome masseuse! She finds the trouble spots and works them out. Great massage! I will be back again.

Hands down THE BEST massage I ve ever received was from a tall retired Air Force man named Jermaine. My husband and I scheduled a couples massage while on vacation and we knew that we wanted to have a relaxing day and it was such a great experience from start to finish that we decided to schedule another appointment the following day. Unfortunately, our travel plans changed so we had to cancel but for sure when we come back to Florida, we ll definitely be back...I believe the lady that massaged my husband was Donna. Both massage therapists listened to our concerns and applied the right amount of pressure to the areas in pain and afterwards we felt amazing!!! By the way, my brother in law & his girlfriend had a couples massage too and she said Evan did a good job. My BIL didn t remember the name of his lady massage therapist but said afterwards that his back was in pain. Sadly, he continued to have pain in his back for several more days and I m hoping it s not something serious or that it wasn t caused by the massage...

My husband and i purchased the couples massage package special and a facial for each on groupon. The staff was very nice as well as the atmosphere. I had Germaine as my massage therapist and he was very professional and absolutely amazing. The reason why i am giving it a 4 star is because when i went to use the restroom, it was very dirty. This is something i think a spa should maintain clean and presentable. Other than that service was great by everyone.

I've come to Essentials Day Spa several times. I came in yesterday overly stressed out and in need of a good massage. Jermaine was awesome. The staff was friendly as always. This is definitely my go to place. I highly recommend them. Thank you Jermaine.

I love going to this spa. I got a signature facial, and relaxation massage, and they were wonderful. My only issue was when I booked my services on the phone I gave the front desk person all 6 referral, and she advised I can use for my service, so when she said that I upgraded from the Euro to the Signature Facial. When I went to pay the front desk advised it would be 95. I asked why and advised I have 6 referrals I wanted to use, and the girl I book advised I can use them. They advised you can only use 1 $5 per service which would have been fine, but I was never told that. So I was only expected to spend $70.00 which I got for Christmas, and had to pay $20.00 more. It wasn't a good way to end my relaxation massage and facial. I will be back, all I ask is better communication with the front desk.

I had the best masseuse over there and he massage deeply into my glutes! They have some really great packages. Look into it you won't regret it!

This was me and my boyfriend's first massage. I had Jermaine and he had Faye. I could not have asked for a better first time. They were extremely attentive and treated us both with such amazing care. My boyfriend and I did the couples massage off of Groupon and did another hot stone and deep tissue add on for one person. It was amazing! They asked about you at the beginning to try and get a feel of what would need attention. I work overnights and I hunch over so my shoulders and my neck were the problem. They explained what was going to happen. Great ambiance and the aromas were amazing! Would definitely go back again :)

I ve been to essentials spa several times and they never let me down. The receptionist was very friendly. The masseuse was great! This place is amazing and very affordable as well.

It was my first time getting a massage. It was definitely worth every penny. It really wasn t that expensive. If you do go please request Judith. She is a great person and really knows what she is doing.

Fantastic Service from the moment you walk in to the actual service by the very best in the business! My Therapist Rocks, I came in with neck issues as well as sore calfs from recent workouts. He performed his magic, and talented expertise, within that hour, I was transcended into Feeling Fantastic! I'm committed to weekly, sessions!

The have a nice and clean reception area. Receptionist was very informative and accommodating. Can't tell how clean the room was because lighting was dim. But the bathrooms were very clean so that says a lot about the cleanliness of the place.
The massage was okay I guess. I was expecting harder or deep tissue as I indicated. I just had a round of golf that afternoon that's why I needed a stronger massage. Maybe next time I visit I should emphasize.
But I'll be back next time I am in Orlando. All in all my experience was better than average. I highly recommend the experience.

3-4-19 HONEST REVIEW- We did the couples massage, my Husband laid down for his massage and he had to request for different face/head sheets because his smelled sour, my therapist massaged me so hard that the entire table was moving and making noise,she didn't use much lotion/oil which felt like she was pinching me, she actually laid her entire elbow on edges (WHO DOES THAT!) WE will NOT be back

I actually gave this place a second chance and the experience was better. But this was my third time going and I was not a fan. I asked for two female therapists ahead of time when I made the appointment and I got 1 male and 1 female. Instead of getting us what we asked for or offering to discount our visit, they just said sorry it was their mistake. Comfortability is already pretty low at this point. Therapist calls my name. Butchers it. I correct her. She proceeds to call me whatever she wants. Ok. Go in the room. My partner and I proceed to get undressed. They knock on the door after like 1 minute. I tell them to wait. Massage begins and it's not bad. My therapist actually dropped a hot stone on my arm. The way she said sorry you would've thought it was my fault. She then tells me to move up. I move up towards the head rest..which btw is up. After the 3rd "NO move up", she condescendingly says no move up towards your feet .Ladies and gentlemen that is down. Its become clear this woman named Kathleen didn't learn directions in school. At the end of the day she was rude. My partners therapist was nice but was massaging him like he was scrubbing dishes. We still tipped after this awful experience. This was a birthday present. It was supposed to be an hour long experience... We got maybe 45 min. 10 min used to check in even after we got there early and they stopped 5 min before the hour was up. I recommend Sterling spa in Winter Park. It's further away but hands down a waaaay better experience.

If I could Give them 50 stars I would. Gavin is the best. I love everything about essentials spa. They also honor Groupon specials. But it s best to go to the spa, they ll give you better rates there.

My boyfriend had a couples massage on vacation. During which time the massage therapist put a towel under my neck and jerked neck upward. I was in agonizing pain for 3 days until I was able to go home. I had to be pushed in a wheelchair with a neck brace on through the airport to get to our gate. When I got home I went to the emergency room and was diagnosed with cervical radiculopathy. 3 months later I was diagnosed with 3 herniated cervical disc' (C4 C5 and C6) A year later, a painful cortisone injection in my spine and life altering changes in behavior and diet to no avail I still suffer daily. I had spinal surgery referred to as Cervical Discectomy and Fusion, now I have a plate in my neck and I suffer from chronic pain everyday for over a year. I've paid for extensive tests, treatments and medications out of pocket while these people continue to go own not knowing they nearly paralyzed me. I'm fed up and in pain so I decided to come out and say something. This is my cautionary tale not to trust anyone with your well being, even so called professionals.

This was my very 1st spa experience and I was super nervous about getting a massage, but Germain made me feel very comfortable. But more to the point, I purchased the couple's massage at a great deal, the staff is super friendly and professional, the facility is nice and clean and the ambiance was so chill and relaxing. Germain was my massage therapist and his hands are magical, he gave the most wonderful massage, so needless to say, but yes I will definitely be going back and I can't wait to try the other services they offer as well.

Got a Groupon and had phenomenal service. I saw some older reviews claiming you get less service when you have a Groupon but I didn't experience that. They took us right on time for a couples massage. I had Ruven and he was great. Actually stuck to the pressure I liked unlike most other massage therapists. I recommend this place for sure. Best 50$ massage I've ever had

I was a first time customer when I visited Essentials Metrowest spa for facial services and a massage. The massage portion went ok then a facial followed. My face was a little red when finished but I was told the this was normal with facials. A few days later, I contacted the spa to inform them that the places where the extractions were made during facial have swollen up and I was a little worried. Again I was told by the staff that this is a normal experience after facial.Still a little weary, I contacted my dermatologist and was informed that it was not normal. I then contacted Essentials Metrowest spa again and asked if I can come in and show the facial specialist and the manager my scaring and dark spots that are now on my face. I was told to email pictures and someone will follow up with me. I emailed pictures immediately ad awaited response. After a few days with no response, I called and the representative said she acknowledged she did not follow up with me but saw the pictures and didn't see anything. I again asked to come in and was told to come in to speak with the facial specialist and manager. An appointment was set for me to come in and I drove 3 hours for a follow up visit for the manager not show up nor call in. I spoke to the facial specialist and showed her the newly acquired marks and scars on my face. She proceeded to call someone on the phone to translate for her as she does not speak nor comprehend English fluently. Once the person translated Russian to English, I was informed to used a Russian based cream to remove the dark spots. I asked if this is from expired products or improperly disinfecting tools between customers. She smiled, I knew she did not understand me so I walked to the front desk and ask for the manager to contact me asap as I wanted a resolution. I have since been calling the spa and the manger has been "unavailable" for the past 3 weeks! This being said, when I call now no-one picks up so I leave voicemails for the manger to contact me but ironically when I call from someone else phone the staff picks up. To this day still awaiting a response from the manager. I can totally share my call log which show my outgoing calls to them and the incoming calls from them, unresponded emails, and pictures before and after. This whole time I have been respectful and polite while experiencing this trauma.

My husband and I had the couples massage and it was amazing. The girls did such a great job on us!

I was not happy with the massage therapist at all. The lady was not able to use the right pressure for me. It was either too hard or too light. Also Felt very uncomfortable because I asked her three times to change the pressure n her response was kind of awkward. I literally laid down there to massage to be finished. Overall I was not happy with the massage.

Same day I also had a signature facial. The lady who gave me the facial was nice listening and very informative. She asked if I would like to do micro dermabrasion just for $20 which lasted 15 min. Ovrrall my facial experience was good and I am considering going back for monthly micro dermabrasion. But definitely not for a massage.

My son bought me a Groupon for Mother's, the place was out of my way which cause me to be late 15 min. And the massage wasn't worth it. By the time I got ready the massage only lasted 30 minutes. They don't give new clients a grace period.

If I could give no stars I probably would. This was supposed to be a special time as a Valentine s Day gift to myself and my boyfriend and it was the worst experience I ve ever had. Before I asked them to go firm and I felt like the entire time I was just getting lotion rubbed on me. For like 3 minutes she applied pressure to my shoulders and I assumed maybe this is how it starts and the rest just lotion all over. If I wanted to be lotioned I could have stayed home and got that done for free. I didn t feel relaxed, so much I asked them to stop so I could speak to my boyfriend. Even with them stepping out to give us time, we didn t get our full hour. I read reviews and this seems to be a hugeness problem. If you are going to do 40 minutes or work, you should advertise as so. With this being my boyfriends first time he seemed to be fine even though he thought the massage came with more. We checked after and we didn t get what we paid for. I honestly wanted to cry because this special moment and time of needed relaxation was ruined but I didn t want to seem ungrateful. I d honestly like to know if all of their therapists are licensed because it seems to have a few amateurs. Now, a day after here I am in complete pain. To see that I m not the only person who feels this way shows me that nothing is being done about this issue.
