Essentials Spa and Salon Review

This place is absolutely amazing and I visited many time there the staff is really helpful and I always go back with great beautiful smile.

This place is great! Very talented staff and knowledgeable! I went for a couples massage and the space is adequate, good color wall and background music. The massage is professional and they will ask if is to firm and want it different. It is a great experience highly recommend!

Came here for our honeymoon! My husband really enjoyed his first ever massage. He also had a facial with he spoke highly of!

I desperately needed a massage but with all the Covid cases, I was afraid to set up an appointment anywhere. A friend told me about Essentials Spa and I booked an appointment. I was impressed from the moment I pulled into the property. The paperwork was brought out to my car and they let me know when my massage therapist was ready for me. Everything was very clean and I felt very safe. The massage, 1/2 deep tissue 1/2 relaxation, with Faye was absolutely incredible and with every penny. I will be back and I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Had a fantastic first experience with Essentials and my masseuse Jermaine today.

The spa itself is taking efforts to make people feel safe during COVID. Distance spacing is marked, efforts for extra sanitation are posted, and you wait in your car until your appointment begins.

Jermaine lived up to the many other reviews about him. He made sure to understand my goals for the session and met them perfectly. He provides a calm environment while checking to make sure the service is one your happy with. By far the best massage I ve had since returning to Orlando!

I have been coming to this Spa for the past 3 years and each time my experience has been amazing. It is clean and the staff is very professional.

The price is very affordable but you lose none of the quality. Beautiful inside, looks high class. My 50 minute massage felt wit short after giving us 15 to simply under and lay down. Wish I would have watched the time. We arrived early to our reservation and still ended up waiting around 20 minutes to be seen. Still worth the price and will be returning.

I almost never take time to review places but this experience has been so negative that I only wish to spare others from going through this.
My husband & I were loyal customers for almost 2 years to Essentials (never again will they be getting a penny from us though).
#1. HORRIBLE MICROBLADING. My goodness. The woman drew the shape & I told her I wanted it slightly different. She basically told me it would look stupid and didn t communicate at ALL with what she was doing. I am not even going into the color and all that because I know they will come back with it varies . But the SHAPE. My God that woman didn t even go CLOSE to the shape we discussed plus she butchered the natural hairs I did have by overplucking. Plus she did not do natural hair strokes. It looks like a blobby mess.
#2. My husband & I tried to book massage for our anniversary. My husband clearly articulated that it was for TWO of us & was a special occasion. The woman who booked the appointment even left notes that it was for our anniversary & would be for 2 people , BUT SHE DIDNT ACTUALLY BOOK IT. so we show up and I am told that I don t have an appointment and there s nothing we can do. The lady offered to STILL HAVE ME PAY for an hour long massage when we booked 90 minutes and would not be getting that. The kind thing to do, especially since I ve been coming for literally years... would be to say, sorry for the inconvenience and the mistake. I can t offer you 90 min. but if you d like to at least get in tonight for an hour, we ll cover the cost for you for the trouble and oversight on our end. But no that didn t happen.
#3. I asked MANY TIMES to speak to the manager /owner. Even got Joann (front desk) to give notes to the owner. I originally called on 5/8 at 11:30am and was told the owner just arrived and will call you back in 20 min. Never received a phone call at all. Spoke to Joann on 5/9 who stated, I will personally call tomorrow 5/10 and let you know what the owner says. So it s 5/10, I took the initiative to call after waiting almost all day and am told the owner gets in at 5pm and will reach out. Well it s 7:15pm folks and no one has called me. I m just astounded that a business would treat loyal customers like this. We had raved positive review and even recommended others to visit but I am regretting ever telling others about this place. There s a better massage parlor 5 min away for comparable pricing. Don t waste your time or money at this business.

Wonderful! My husband & I went for our first massage and they are all super friendly, they explain everything step by step. Everything is clean and well organized.

This might be the location for massages but, when it comes to pedicures & manicures it's a tiny room with two stations that are awful for both nails and or feet services. The girl that does the service ( is a young lady that is a bit heavy set and African American ) just in case they claim it's a new person and not the one from this review. She fills the tubs your feet sit in with water from the restroom. Seriously!? Not the place to get your nails done. She also needs alot more pratice. I had to come home and finish the job I just paid $25.00 for. She uses only one set of nail tools and they were just thrown into a barber shop sanitizer bin with solution. I do not know if that is even proper steps to sanitize just with in minutes of use between customers as they were used with three different people in the same room in only one hour. YUCK! NEVER AGAIN!

Small but lovely, this is a great spot for a massage. Their prices are very reasonable and the service is good. I didn t like their pedicure/manicure service as much, but the massages are top notch.

It was my first experience here and it was amazing. I walked in with lower back pain and walked out feeling great. The staff does a great job making you feel comfortable and targeting your specific needs. I got a deep tissue massage from Caitlin and she was wonderful, I highly recommend her for anyone dealing with any kind of back pain.

Great massage therapists we had wonderfull couples massage. My wife also likes the spa treatments they provide and was very pleased with multiple treatments she has received including microblading, microdermabrasion and peel.. will definitely be coming back. Staff very kind and polite. super professional booking handeling & general appearance A++. Ambiance is very beautiful and peaceful. 5

This place is a nightmare my mom was crying for 3 days about her head i almost to her to the e.r....i should have said no right away after i explained to the female therapist she had herniated disks in her neck and lower back to please avoid and she decides to press down on her neck and was massaging the wrong way! This a HUGE issue she could have done seripus damage were filing complaints against the spa and the therapist! AVOID AT ALL COST ITS NOT WORTH IT YOU CCAN GET A CHEAP MASSAGE AT ANOTHER ESSENTIALS OR HAND AND STONE AND THEY WONT MESS YOU UP! IM STILL WAITING TO HEAR FROM THE OWNERS WEEKS LATER

Went for a couples massage, Evan and Barbara were AMAZING! Definitely great at what they do! All of the staff was pleasant! Ambiance and aromatherapy really made me relax!

My husband and I found this place through Google for a spur of the moment massage for my birthday. They called us back and provided a time for massage, however we missed the call and they booked the time. They called back and fit us in. We were thankful! I had Evan and he was amazing!! I would highly recommend for deep tissue needs! My husband had Jayme and he said she's the only one who ever got him to release (he is a critical care nurse and always very tight). Will definitely come back!

I went yesterday to use my Groupon massage purchased in February. Evan was my masseuse and he was AWESOME!!! I had the 1 hour aromatherapy hot stone reflexology massage with the pineapple scrub. He made sure I was comfortable in every aspect. I gave 4 stars because the headrest towel smelt a little rank, but it was the best massage I ever had and will be coming back to see Evan!

Jermaine was excellent! I am only visiting here for the next few days but if I lived here, I would request Jermaine every time! He s excellent!!

This is a great place for a massage from professional staff that listen to your needs. Always on time and thorough. Only complaint is the rooms don't have much sound proofing so it's a tad of a bummer to have to listen to people in other rooms or in the hallways. Regardless, Preeti the owner is great and I'm always matched with a great masseuse.

Don't make an appointment late. I made mines at 8pm because that's what they had available. It felt rushed because I think they were closing at 9. Also they called us back to the rooms a couple minutes late, so I feel a little ripped off. But the lady did do an awsawes job with the message.

This is very nice spa, with a lot of potential! My facial was Amazing! However I didn't care for my the lady that gave me a massage! No stars for her! This visit was for my mom's birthday, the staff got us in quick! We had the $109 package which is a great deal! However the young girl that did my mom's mani-pedi was TERRIBLE! So I cancelled getting one! Overall I will go again but I will certainly inquire about who will do my massage and mani-pedi
