Tina Carter - I was seen by LeighAnn and Dr Hale for a surprise Root Canal procedure. I must say they completely calmed me down. I normally need meds to complete a root canal but they were patient. The made sure I didnt feel a thing. This was he last tooth close to wisdom teeth so a very difficult spot. But they were so reassuring and nice. Took away all the pain. I would recommend them to anyone.
I had the best Root Canal experience of my life. Yes, I actually said "Root Canal" experience. I felt so comfortable. I feel asleep. I know that I was in good hands. Had a root canal done with Dr. Nair and it was easily the best dental work experience I've had. I called day of to schedule, was called back an hour prior to appointment time for price estimate, and came in that day without any problems and paid precisely what I was told over the phone.
Dr. Nair made sure I was as comfortable as possible and I basically passed out during the entirety of the procedure. The dental hygienist was great too and explained everything really well so I understood the procedure & the lady at the front desk was also great! The flow of the office is very efficient and I appreciated it a lot as a patient!
I went in for my first root canal, and I was so nervous and afraid of the pain that I was literally shaking. The staff was so kind and helpful and did what they could to put me at ease. Dr. Hale was very gentle and explained what he was doing every step of the way and it was entirely painless. The worst part was the shots to numb my mouth, and it turned out the anticipation was much worse than the actual experience. I recommend them wholeheartedly.
I had a re-treatment done today of a root canal from about 10 years ago. It was a great experience for a dental procedure. Staff was nice and let me know what was going on throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend them for anyone getting any work done.
Very good service and skill, my wife came to have the root canal retreat. Dr He was so nice and comforting since my wife was a little bit nervous. The process took about 45 minutes and everything went fine. Her tooth was saved and the retreat was a success. Would definitely recommend Dr He. By the way the place is really clean and lovely.
Both Dr. He and Ashlee really made sure I was as comfortable as possible, and continually asked throughout the procedure how I was! The front office staff Jazmin and Julie were also so kind and accommodating with all my questions and requests. I highly recommend!

Had a wonderful experience this morning getting a root canal (Well, as wonderful as a root canal can be). Very timely, professional, and courteous. They took the xrays, showed me the problem on the images, got me good and numb and went to work. Hope you don t need a root canal, but if you do, Dr. He and her staff rock.
Dr He and her staff were courteous and friendly during my initial visit and the root canal. Dr He answered my questions clearly and patiently. I could barely feel the needles when she gave anesthesia. She spent a lot of time cleaning the root manually because it wasn't a routine case. During the entire procedure, she and the hygienist put me at ease. I don't want to have another root canal but if I ever need one, I would show up in Dr He's clinic!

I was a little worried to get a root canal from hearing about other people's experience. This was by far my best dental experience ever. I ended up needing 2 roots canal which were scheduled one day after the other and both went great. The whole team there was fantastic, they explained everything and answered all my concerns (which requires patience haha). Dr Kohout is definitely an expert in root canal; I didn't feel a thing. I took some painkillers to prevent pain and inflammation but the very next day felt like I didn't get any work done in my mouth at all + my pain was gone which was a huge relieve. If I ever need another root canal I'm definitely going there again.
I would recommend this office with no reservations; all around a great experience (for being in a dentist office). Front Office staff (Robin and Julie) got me in and out smoothly. The Hygienist (Ashlee) was amazing; very attentive and sweet. Doctor He was absolutely professional in performing the task and keeping me informed on the procedures.
Dr. Hale and his assistant Leighann were very kind and professional. Dr. Hale performed 2 root canals for me - at this location and at the Frisco office. They make sure I was comfortable. They also explained each step so I know what was going to happen next as well as what to expect. Hopefully I don't need anymore root canals but if I do, I'll make sure to go to their office again.

My dentist arranged for me to go to this location for an emergency root canal. I went straight there from my dental office. I was having sever pain and unable to drive myself. After the wait and filling out the necessary paperwork I was seen for the consultation. To my disappointment, I was told their "emergency appointment" was filled for the day and I would have to wait til Thursday. With the amount of pain I was in I could not wait any longer. A nurse at the Carrollton location suggested your Dallas location. I got an appointment and less than 2 hours later heading home with the procedure done and started my healing. To sum up my review, the Carrollton office should not have told me to come right over and had me waste time at their office when I could have went immediately to the Dallas location and had everything done there.
Everyone in this office was great from the moment I walked in. Ashlee was truly kind, immediately interested in my comfort, and continued to be through the entire visit. Dr He was great in explaining everything in a way that was quite easy to understand. She was so amazingly gentle I almost fell asleep in the chair! I highly recommend this office!
Dr. Hale is an excellent dentist. I was nervous about having my root canal done, I'm usually very apprehensive about needles. Dr. Hale and his assistant Denise made me feel calm and in good hands. The moment I walked into the office Dani nice smile was a pleasant welcome. They are very professional and truly caring. I had no pain or problems after the procedure. It was me best dental visit. This was easily the best experience I have ever had for dental care. Dr. Kohout kindly and clearly answered all of my questions and performed extremely well. His staff also performed well.
Dr. He performed by root canal, which was my first ever. In fact, I arrived skeptical and concerned with how things would go. Dr. He was patient and very knowledgeable. But the reason I would return is Leigh Ann. She is fantastic, a true valuable assistant who's value cannot be overstated. If you need a root canal, I cannot recommend Dr. He and Leigh Ann more. They are great.
There'll never be a pleasant experience when receiving a root canal, but Dr. Hale and Denise did a fantastic job on mine. I normally burn through Novocaine quickly, but the procedure was quick, and so therefore painless. If you're ever in the unfortunate need for endodontic work, I highly recommend this place!
I thought it was gonna be doomsday for root canal, but what a amazing staff and Dr.kohout took the time to diagnose the issue and very honest about what's needed. I had my first root canal done with Denise as my hygienist and Dr. Bolden as my endodontist. They were fantastic. Both were very reassuring, clear and quick! I was so pleased with my experience. I had to have a root canal -was able to schedule the day before as I was having much pain. Dr He took wonderful care of me. Each step of the procedure was explained . The staff was very professional. LeighAnn made sure that I was comfortable and was able to take some ibuprofen prior to the procedure starting. I actually think I feel asleep for a few minutes during it, and that has never happened to me during dental work. I cannot recommend this office highly enough.

Had a root canal (with an abcess) on 3/25/16 and I couldn't be more pleased with Dr. Hale and his assistant, Leigh Ann. They took every care for my comfort and their work was top notch. The front desk assistant, Dani, answered my many calls and questions regarding insurance, meds, etc. with much patience. Would definitely return if needed.

But honestly, I truly wish they could. I have had lots of fillings done in my life and this was my first root canal. I needed an emergency re-treatment of a root canal. The office staff was friendly and accommodating, and put me in the schedule as quickly as possible. The check-in process was quick and easy (provided that you complete the forms on line prior to appointment date) once you arrive on time less then five minutes wait time. Once you are in treatment room great service both doctor and her assistant keep you engaged step by step on what to expect thru the treatment process. To say I love the dentist would be a lie but the ladies at this office are amazing. Everyone was very warm and comfortable to talk with. You feel like they are there to help you are not a burden on there day which happens at many places today. Dr. He and her assistant Ashlee where great. I hate shots and needles so getting numbed up is always a challenge for me. Dr. He crushed it with just a little pinch and numb on the first try. After that she knocked out the procedure and I was on my way. I will be requesting this office if I ever have to have another procedure and would recommend them to any one else. Just had a root canal today with Dr. Jenny He. From start to finish everything was stellar. The attitude of office staff/assistants are always important to me. Sometimes more time is spent dealing with them in a doctors office. Everyone I came in contact with was helpful and courteous. Gabby, Dr. He s office assistant was very helpful in booking my appointment and made sure I had all the paperwork I needed before I left - very thorough! Denise, the Dental Assistant was very kind and personable. She had everything up and ready to go for Dr. He. Dr. He was wonderful. She explained everything, gives great shots-barely felt anything and made sure I left feeling ok with what to expect post-procedure. If you re putting off getting that root canal done, get in to see Dr. He. You ll not only be glad you got it done, but you will have found the endodontist to stay with!!
I went in for a root canal retreatment and came out really happy with how the procedure turn out. I was expecting pain and a lot of discomfort but Dr. Hale and his assistant Denise did a fantastic job. No pain at all! Not even application of the numbing agent hurt. I was surprised. They were really professional and friendly through and through. I hope I never need another root canal, but if it comes to that, I'll come back to this office. :)

The staff was very friendly. Robin at the front desk was very nice & knowledgeable about everything. My hygienist, Leigh Ann, as well as Dr He, were both very professional. Both did an excellent job of informing & explaining to me about the procedure before starting. Throughout the procedure, they also asked how I was doing & if I was comfortable (even though it was difficult to answer, with my mouth being full of equipment lol). The whole procedure was basically painless & they have a great classic rock station that plays in the background, which makes it that much more tolerable. As was everyone else, I was extremely nervous facing my first root canal. Dr. Robert Hale and his staff treated me with respect and empathy making the process nearly painless. Best of all, they got it right on the first try!
Upon entering their office, I was welcomed in, then after signing in, I was called back to the workroom (on time) for my root canal. The assistants & Dentist explained what to expect, putting me at ease. I was numbed by a topical medication, then painlessly injected with some numbing medication, after a few minutes, checked for total numbness. Once I was totally numb, the procedure began, & I was so shocked at how Painless & Quickly that the Dentist completed the root canal. If I had 10 people who worked like him, I could build a Pyramid. Dr. Hale and assistant Leigh A Pena were absolutely amazing . I highly recommend this facility to everyone . Every procedure was explain clearly . I had never been to endodontist before . The difference between a dentist and endodontist doing a root canal is night and day . I had a retreat on the same tooth twice before i came to see Dr. Hale and Leigh . I dont expect to go back . The discomfort was minimal , no swelling. No trouble over the weekend . I was able to go back to work that same day . I was in and out under 2 hours .

I arrived on time and was taken immediately. The assistant introduced herself immediately, was pleasant, smiled, and told me exactly what the plan was for my treatment. Then she got the dentist who also came in, introduced himself, shook my hand, and was very polite. He explained the treatment clearly. He also advised me to take a less costly procedure than I had been sent for - which he didn't have to do. I appreciate the honesty! After the dentist left, the assistant reiterated what the dentist had gone over and asked if I had any questions. Altogether as perfect a visit as one can have at a place like this!
Had a root canal retreated and it was a very positive experience with Dr He and her assistant Denise; I am not exaggerating when I say I had no pain, because I didn't feel pain at all during the procedure, not even when the doctor applied local anesthesia. I would recommend anyone to visit Dr He, she was very professional and was able to fix my problem without any pain.

I had a root canal retreatment. Dr He made sure it was completely painless. The assistant Leighann was very friendly and helped me to relax. I sat in the parking lot sweating bullets. As I was pulling in all those metaphorical sayings involving root canals I heard through out life came rushing back. I had this weird existential moment where I accepted that life is painful and I have it pretty good health wise and if this does kill me the world will keep spinning and what not. But who will feed my dog turkey slices at 4 AM when I'm gone?
As far as pain this legitimately felt like a cleaning or something. It didn't hurt. Even the numbing process she somehow made easy. It was fast. You could almost do this on your lunch break. I wanna say it was 45-50 minutes. Everyone was pleasent, professional and I got the sense they really took pride in their work. I had Dr. He and Leigh-Ann and Robin at the front. All around a great experience. I wouldn't go anywhere else for a root canal.
Very quick to get me in and resolve my issue. Dani got me checked in Leigh Ann & Dr. He were efficient and it was one of the easiest Root Canals I've had.

The staff at Endodontic Associates was very welcoming. They made what could have been a stressful visit, ( tooth pain, Covid restrictions) into a comfortable and easy to manage situation. This review is mostly to reflect the frustration of an office that could be run a lot better.
My story: I was referred to Dr He by my general dentist. I had a crown come out with a deep cleaning. My dentist wanted the endodontist to either document that a root canal was not possible the lack of depth of bone in the top portion of my maxilla, or to do the root canal. I communicated this with the endodontist and offered to call my dentist office for them so the two dentist could communicate about course of care to avoid a second visit. They refused to call and I had to text my dentist office while in the chair and they literally called into the endodontist office to try to communicate with them, to try to save me an unnecessary second visit.
First issue with them: This was very frustrating because why should a patient come back due to lack of healthcare coordination between a endodontist and their referral base?
Second issue: Basic location information distribution to patients. First of all, does anyone really pay attention to the difference between the word associates vs specialist? There are two endodontists in Carrollton and their names are very similar. The endodontic (association vs specialists) of Carrollton. Without looking up, do you remember which one the review you're looking up is? Is it hard to remember? Yes. They text message the night before but don't include the address. The headers to the office lists the first dentist as Yogesh Patel. Guess what, he doesn't even practice there. He just owns the practice. At least he had a easy to remember name. Why don't I just put that in the GPS instead. Yogesh Patel Carrollton. GPS takes me to the office he actually practices instead, in North Dallas. Wrong location. I've been heading that way for 20 minutes and this is going to make me late for my appointment. I call this office to update then. Get to the real location. Suite 205. There are 3 different office buildings with that address and they each have a suite 205. No mention of which office to go into on the address. Great. Get to the office and expect the dentist to have talked and communicated so I can get my root canal done/or documented that it can't be done. No such luck, get charged 50 dollars just for a consult and have to schedule a time to do root canal. I work by the hour and am not salaried so I missed hundreds of dollars of income today for this hour long appointment that was pointless and could have been actually productive if there had been adequate communication in the office.
Third issue: surprise billing. So I get a quote from them for my procedure. It was around140$. I schedule another appointment. Two days before the appointment they call me and say that I am at my max and the procedure will be double the price. 280. I say I understand. I have Cigna so it only takes 10 minutes to check my estimate. I have my root canal. About one month later I get another bill for 120idh dollars. At this point this procedure has been around three times as expensive as the original quoted price (140). Now I've paid 400. I call the office back and ask why if I was already at the max could they have not checked my insurance on the day of so I could have an updated price. They say they sometimes do that with maxed out dental plans.
This is just an aside but fun fact is that my nerve was already dead so I didn't really need any urgent root canal and could have waited two months for my insurance to reset. Uuugh.
That being said, I thought the clinic side patient care side of things were great, Dr. He was really great at explaining things, excellent at doing the procedure. Technically proficient. Her dental assistants were really nice and attentive. 5/5 for all things dental procedure related. I would trust her with my teeth.
My regular dentist referred me to Endodontic Associates of Carrollton when I had a problem with a tooth that needed special care. Dr. He and her assistant Leighann, took very good care of me. They made me feel completely at ease even with a dual root tooth needing a root canal. I will definitely go back to them if I ever need this type of work again. (I hope I don't).
