Staff was extremly friendly and made you feel comfortable and welcome at all times. Breaksfast was great and location was everything...only thing i woukd have changed to make a better experience was that they never had more towels... We are in summer break in florida and you offer a pool, i would like to suggest more towels or housekeeping staying on top of it because it waa 2 days i was tokd this.... Other than that...i would definitely recommend
Nice rooms and a great downtown location. Easy walking distance to several restraints and entertainment venues. Nice pool on the 3rd floor balcony is a pretty cool feature as well.
Great location, the room is very nice, clean, and spacious for two people. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, all of them made restaurant and beach recommendations and offered to help us any way they could. Only complaints would be the valet service is a bit too expensive ($28 per 24 hour period) considering the garage is 50 feet away and there doesn't seem to be complementary Wi-Fi.
It s a very tired hotel. Like Sleeping Beauty tired. When I walked into the room it gasped refresh me please...or just put me out of my misery.
My favourite chain of hotels in the USA. Tampa hotel has great views and a good location and as usual rooms are clean and v spacious. Will stay again.
Horrible service ,very dirty my room
They dont have Iron and enough towels
Very convenient to the convention center. There is a sky bridge walk way from the hotel to the convention center. Hotel is a little bit dated but still nice. 4 stars because toilet didn't flush well, breakfast wasn't easy, and air conditioning unit in room was a little difficult to work with.
It s a solid hotel, not the nicest Embassy we ve stayed at, but the location was awesome for seeing a concert at the arena.
Embassy is a great place to stay only bad thing is parking, your going to pay at least $10 or more a day. Did not like the pillows either. Afternoon drinks and breakfast is great.
Rooms were very clean and staff was extremely friendly.
If your a runner this is the place to stay. They have a great running trail that over looks the water. The hotel is nice but and offers an okay happy hour. Cant complain about free drinks. I wish I could remember the bartenders name I just remember his red hair. He was amazing. Super personable, funny, informative and just overall a joy.
Beautiful place stayed here 4 nights with family & it was amazing very clean & services was immaculent
Waited until 5:30pm until my room was ready. Room was decently clean. Rooms need to be renovated as this hotel is not compliant with Hilton's requirements to be an embassy suites unless a Renovation happens in the next 2 months.
Railing on the 20th floor balcony is less than safe and a hazard. Not code compliant.
Mildew on the ceiling in the "parlor/living room" Can lights out/hanging above wetbar. I could go on but it's like staying in a brand new Extended Stay America (If you don't know that is a low level hotel that they actually wash the walls off with a hose due to the people staying)
Front desk staff are nice but this hotel is subpar to say the least.
Great location just very upsetting Hilton allows this to keep it's flag.
Great location right next to the Amalie and the Convention Center
Very nice and clean hotel. My favorite part is the full breakfast that's included in your hotel fee, as well as, the daily happy hour
Good hotel. Very close to the Tampa convention center, and even has a sky bridge you can use.
The hotel is beautiful and clean. The staff is great and attentive. This is our second visit to the hotel and will stay again next time we are in town.
As soon as i walked in I was unable to find a trolley for my luggage. The front clerk Trish was no help and seemed like she didn't care at all. I booked a room with a third party and they didn't even have a room available. Mind you I drove two hours and got there at 9pm. On top of that my 10 year old daughter had to use a bathroom really bad to the point she was crying but the front desk Trish would not let her use the bathroom. Stated its closed but just let two ppl use it. So disappointed as this was my first experience to try this hotel and received terrible one.
Great place to stay! Clean comfy rooms! Great breakfast!
I watched the sun set just now. This embassy suites is way better than the one by Busch Gardens.
Only visited the Starbucks located in the hotel. Short walk from Amalie Arena where I was attending a conference.
Beautiful view... I just wish the water pressure for the shower was better...
Laid back staff and hotel. Went here for the Lightning game and did not regret one moment
We stay here every year for Tampa Bay Comic Con. Cant beat the price with the spacious room and free all you can buffet breakfast. The staff is awesome. This stay we had a problem with the mini fridge, engineering came right up and placed it. We wouldnt stay anywhere else. Great job guys!!
Great downtown location near the convention center. Wonderful Riverwalk near hotel! There's also a Starbucks Inside the Hotel!
Very nice hotel and suite. Being that COVID is still rampant I felt it could have been much cleaner which is the reason for the 3 stars
Great location, right next to the Tampa Convention Center. It has Starbucks. Great service. Highly recommend.
Decent amenities in the large suites, and the free breakfast and evening drinks are nice but my room had unwanted extra guests if you know what I mean.
No hotel shuttle service too and from the airport and the valet only hotel parking is high as hell ($32.00 per day). We parked around the corner and walked for $9.65 per day in the convention center parking deck.
We stayed for my wife's birthday. We managed to get a room on the top floor and it felt great, right up until I got out of the elevator and saw the balcony like hallway. A fear of heights makes this not the hotel for you. Beyond that it was amazing. The location was beautiful, the reception was the best we've had, the breakfast was great. No issues with the room and the staff was friendly and helpful. We made a last minute reservation change and they handled it flawlessly. We definitely want to come back, but we'll see about a lower floor next time.
4 night stay this past week. Great location with picture perfect views of Tampa bay down town. Approximately 45 min to St Pete and Clearwater beaches. Good restaurants within walking distance and river walk right across the street. The rooms were clean for the most part; however, some areas needed deep cleaning plus dusting. No rodents, insects, or bed bugs. Pool is small. Housekeeping provided plenty of towels. Hotel staff friendly. We had a difficult time reaching the front desk, phone was often unanswered. Had an issue with the bathroom toilet; however, hotel maintenance was very responsive and fixed the issu. Valet experience was horrible! Valet is understaffed and overworked with long waiting times for our car. One of the days we had to park our own car! The hotel did remove the $33/day. Breakfast daily (pancakes/French toast, eggs, bacon, potatoes, cereals, pastries) served by two staff members, long line/waiting if not there early. Overall good experience but needs some improvements in certain areas. I would try another hotel for next stay.
Great hotel and experience each time I've stayed. I would've given 5 stars had the internet been free and at least of decent speed.
I would never recommend anyone book this hotel for their stay. Merchandise was stolen out of our room by housekeeping and when we got in touch with management they refused to do anything about it. One manager looked us in the eye and acted as if she had no idea what was going on and and come to find out she had been in our room along with the housekeeper. She also stated that she would perform a lock audit on our door and provide that for us to complete the investigation and we never got that. What a coincidence. The entire stay was less than mediocre. The television wouldn t work. The elevators were broken. Thermostat wouldn t work properly. Our appliances weren t even plugged in when we got there so we had to call maintenance because the cords they used were too short to even plug into the wall and to top it all off they charged me $250 for a smoke fee when I never smoked in my room! Every morning my guest would wake up and go outside off of the hotel premises to smoke which management even mentioned they saw but they refuse to take the charge off of my card. I have since filed a police report and an investigation with my card company. I m terribly disappointed in my stay here. I would NEVER recommend anyone book this hotel if you want to enjoy your stay. This was a terrible experience overall and the staff is just as bad. I hated everything about the stay with embassy suites and I will not book another stay at their hotels as long as I can help it.
The worst. Totally run down. Complaints never addressed. Couldn't even get our rental car out of the parking lot - had to abandon my husband with the car so one of us would make our plane! And almost $300 a night!
Its a nice hotel but out of the 3 years I have been going on vacation to this hotel. I have had a issue every year. First year they gave a card to someone who knew my room number but who was not staying with me and I found them passed out on the couch. Second year my finger got slammed in to there fire proof doors and not one person at the front desk did anything. They said we are so sorry. Now this year I was quoted the wrong amount for the room and they charged an unauthorised extra 368 dollars on to an account where I now have to go to amscot just to keep out of the negatives. When I called about how when I came to stay with them and I was quoted by there front desk clerk 530 and some odd change and now they added an extra 368 with out telling me or me giving permission at all. Plus there cards kept failing all weekend I went to the front desk at least 6 times to get new cards. Every time something happens at this hotel they refuse to take the blame say sorry and fix there mistakes. I'm a member with the Hilton and I'm never ever ever staying here again.
Room on upper floor had ants everywhere!!! Transferred to another room and there was an open safety pin in the floor (see pic)!!! Imagine if we had stepped on that. I was initially ordered Hilton honors points???? Then was offered a half nights comp???? I told them no thanks and I would write a letter to corporate. Then they offered 1 nights comp. Should have been offered a refund for the whole stay. Do not recommend staying here. 1 star is for the nice staff for happy hour and breakfast.
Absolutely awful experience at 600 a night.never again.your establishment told me to email them with out concerns which I did more than 6 months ago.said they would make it right. this is how you make it right?wow.never again.we stayed with you for the Roger Waters concert which the entire experience and the stay with you was to celebrate my daughters sweet 16 birthday.had you had made this right like you said... I would have loved to update my review. I could post EVERYTHING that was wrong but it would not solve anything.we were hoping to revisit you in the fall had our Made Right visit happened and our experience had been better. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels at a fraction of your rates and as far as a Hilton goes..... you should be ashamed and embarrassed.have a pleasant day.
We frequently hold company meetings here and the experience is always superb, from scheduling a room to having food delivered. The central location is highly convenient. Parking can get a bit expensive, but it's a worthwhile trade-off.
Great hotel - rooms clean and large. Service was great; would recommend!
We stayed there last weekend and everything was great. Then Friday night as we were leaving for dinner, an employee named Jarvis stopped us at the door and asked if we needed assistance or transportation. He offer us a car and driver to get us to dinner. Then the next morning on the way to breakfast we ran into Jarvis in the elevator. He addressed me by name! Very pleasant. Then at breakfast we could see him behind the scenes restocking the buffet.
Finally at check out time we were looking for a luggage cart. Jarvis ran and found one for us. Where do you find people that nice. He made our stay. We have already told friends and will come back again because of the hospitality Jarvis extended us. Over the top in my opinion.
Standard Embassy Suite. Convenient to convention center.
Wonderful stay. Was there to see Journey and Def Leppard. Beautiful hotel with an AMAZING breakfast
Centrally located nice water views. Tired and worn. Could be cleaner. Mgr.stated they were getting ready to start some remodeling
The rooms and property were clean and as expected. Parking was expensive. Elevators were surprisingly slow. Staff was friendly and helpful, except bartenders who were curt and abrupt.
Great place to do events, I was personally participating on POD Live event and it was amazing! There is starbucks on the first floor where you can buy an exellent coffee. Restrooms are very clean and place itself as well. Great view from embassy and they even have a wallet service.
Why they would book a whole volleyball tournament and let them run around at 2 am I don t know. Then after all that the valet parking service SUCKED!!! took an hour for my car to be brought to me due to them letting the volleyball tournament parents call their car down then load it up and have it put back in valet while the rest of us sat and waited. Was highly disappointed spending $300 a night and to deal with so many problems in a two night stay. I hope the manager takes this as a lesson learned and organizes big groups in a more professional way.
Good location, close to the river. Rooms were overall clean and sanitized. Staff and valet were friendly. The hotel is definitely in need of upgrades and improvements. The pool and gym are small. The age is starting to show. One of the elevators were out of service which made it more of an inconvenience due to social distancing and Covid. I got a good rate so I would probably stay again if I got a similar rate in the future.
Great location beautiful scenery my room was amazing
Such a nice clean place! And steps away from from the theatre!!!
Great breakfast and great location, especially attending something at the convention center. Love the added happy hour and the steak at the accompanying restaurant is amazing. The attached Starbucks is a wonderful touch too. HOWEVER, If the hotel is booked expect long wait times for the elevators and assume at least 1 of the 4 will be out of order.
This review is based on the rental service budget at the embassy suites. It was by far my worst experience with a rental car from ants infested in the car to poor customer service. I will never do business with this establishment again. Not one time did we hear sorry for the inconvenience only you can call customer service for help.
The hotel seems nice, but honestly I was just going to the Starbucks inside. A google survey required me to write something.
Very beautiful hotel, but very busy with remodeling.
Nice view, big room with separated room, I would like it to be more clean though
Room wasn't cleaned as stated on the tear away label on door , Nail clipping in front of one of the beds & dirty used wash cloth in shower rack didn't notice when we checked into the room around 3:00 p.m. or so, as soon as we got there we headed down to the pool with the children when we came back in the evening and started winding down That's when we noticed both of these discrepancies. I called down to the front desk spoke with Adis she offered another room Thank you .b
But by then it was so late My wife was in bed and younger child was sleeping . Why put these blue labels on the door like the room is cleaned if it's not? Or no quality control has been performed to see that housekeeping is doing its job? Rooms are well insulated Next door guest was playing loud music could not hear a thing in my room TVs are amazing although they're not smart they don't have any Netflix app or prime video app. Breakfast was huge had fruit cold cereal coffees scrambled eggs sausage and potatoes because of the pandemic these are served for you which makes the process even more more speedy to sit down and enjoy your breakfast.
Nice rooms, friendly staff. Morning omelettes are fantastic
Its a very nice hotel in a great location.. Near and walking distance to river walk, restaurants and entertainment. The rooms are nice but a little dated but enjoyed my stay. Hotel restaurant stayed too busy to use. They were offering a breakfast each morning.
We had a meeting room suite that was not great. It certainly wasn't terrible, but there wasn't adequate lighting which made me not want to even schedule meetings in the room.
Nice place. Best location if you are going to the the Tampa convention center.
For an added fee they upgraded our room. Our "upgraded" overlooked a parking structure and we could hear the elevators going up and down all night! We forgot a pair of sandals, called the hotel one hour after departure to inform them of the lost items and where to find them, and they never found the sandals. Possibly, one of their employees took them?
Filthy with no customer service! Our sheets had make up and hair on them and our fridge had some food debris and hair inside of it there was dust and dirt in the room and so we stayed three days they only cleaned our room once after complaining multiple times and still didn t change our sheets! We had to ask for towels four times and we had a pile of the old towels because they never came to clean our room and take them away. We would ve checked out but it s the only place right where the Florida bar is been given and my daughter was taking it. The only reason there s one star is because the breakfast was OK.
Lots of construction right now and not a lot of signage to let you know what's going on.
Room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The complementary breakfast and evening happy hour were both excellent perks. $28 per day parking was steep and the only drawback to an otherwise nice stay.
Essentially a dead part of the city unless you're attending an event at the Convention Center. Not much to see or do. Staff was OK. Nothing to write home about.
