I've stayed at multiple Embassy Suites and this was one of the best!
If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HoteIRaven. com Booked a room here and they had the cheapest rates around...
Updated embassy suites, stayed in room past pool on the first floor. Good price/value exchange. Room was clean, would have preferred at least 2nd floor. Staff was professional at front desk. The restaurant was sufficient but lacked servers, the wait for food and drink was longer than expected and at times it appeared our server had the whole restaurant. I would stay here again.
Last 2 visits to this Embassy Suites have been horrible. Hotel was filthy, room service trays left out for entire night and all morning. Checked out after 11 and entire atrium was still filled with dirty dishes with no one even attempting to clean. Hotel allows large parties who run unsupervised banging on doors with zero security or reprimand. I won t be visiting this hotel in the future.
Nice, clean, quiet! A little pricey at times but, the set up is nice. Oh, the pillows are horrible...that would be my only gripe.
Hotel and room were very nice and clean. There is complimentary happy hour and breakfast that were nice and good. Called down to front to ask for extra towels to be brought to the room and never got them. The area for people to smoke cigarettes is literally right outside the side door so non-smokers are forces to walk through clouds of smoke if they are parked on that side. The bar during non-happy hour was insanely overpriced and the bartender himself was a cranky older man who didn't know what he was doing.
Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Music below us in a meeting room was way too loud and management refused to anything about it. Complimentary breakfast was awful. Will NEVER step foot in this hotel again. A shame to the Hilton name!
Can't beat the free drinks between 5: 30 and 7: 30.. also the restaurant food was surprisingly decent. Too many kids on the weekend but overall not a bad Hotel
I spent the evening in the bar. Drinks were slightly expensive, but the staff was friendly and the food was great.
Staff is very helpful! I had some problems with my reservation (work travel office issues) prior to check in, and they sorted it out with no problems. Rooms are spacious and clean. Great cooked-to-order omelets at breakfast!
Great indoor bar. Nice Decor inside very cozy place to hang out with friends.
Really great after the remodel, but the heater in our room wasn't working and we were freezing all night long.
Great hotel with friendly staff. Awesome breakfast and happy hour each day included in your stay. Rooms were spacious. I do wish the housekeeping staff was a little more attentive to detail. Crumbs left on our couch from previous guest. Floor in breakfast area was sticky in the same spots the whole week we were there. The shuttle and driver, Angel, were above and beyond expectations.
WiFi is fast. Decor is a little beat up. Guest leave dirty plates and glasses everywhere. Generally a s**** show because of free drinks to all guest and not Hilton Members with status. The atrium is really loud and carries sound to all rooms excpet the corner rooms near the fire exits.
Everything was good but they had one bartender on shift to serve 150 people for preschedualed event
It's a hotel that is heavily used by the local MEPS station. But for a what it is, it's alright.
Great place to stay. The free breakfast was good. The pool looked like it needs some help. The water was very cloudy.
Came early for the Managers complimentary happy hour with our pup!
I would recommend Embassy Suites by Hilton to all my friends and family. This place is gorgeous.clean.and the hospitality is superb
A hotel that is really great in a number of key areas. The check in was fast and efficient. The parking was easy to get to the lobby. The room is in fantastic shape and clean. The room is huge and a true suite with separate living room/kitchen, bathroom, and bed room. They have a fantastic looking indoor pool. I have truly enjoyed my stay here.
I adored my stay here!! Everyone was extremely nice, food was great, and the complementary evening reception was the highlight of the night. I would also like to mention that a member of the staff, Rafael, was extremely welcoming and willing to help with what I needed. Thank you!
Extremely disappointed in the food at the restaurant. My wife ordered a margarita pizza flat bread pizza and it was supposed to have fresh basil. It didn't have fresh basil and the server said it was supposed to a basil oil even thou the menu said fressh Basil. . The buffalo chicken chicken flat bread was extremely salty also! We have stayed here many times and this is the first time we have been disappointed with them.
Attended a function held by our school. Professional staff and good food! Nice space for the event as well.
Nice hotel located next to a lot of convenience stores and eating joints + there is a pedestrian walkway which is convenient
When I first arrived they put me in the wromg room, moved me to a room with non-working internet, air conditioning, and a chipping ceiling, then finally put me in a decent room.
Very nice place. Fridge was a bit small. Breakfast was great! You can't beat eggs or omelettes cooked to order.
Front desk staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member I didnt feel welcomed at all, it felt more like an inconvenience to them. We booked 6 people in room and they told us they don't have blankets!!! How is it hotel doesn't have blankets??? Front desk lady offered few bed sheets instead and turn up AC or just deal with it, since she cant do anything. It took 3 hours and a call to corporate HH to get blankets and pack and play for baby to sleep in. Horrible experience. Would not stay here again.
Worst place Ive stayed while on vacation. Lack of customer suites, and lack of linens. Room wasnt clean, baf thing is I paid 200 dollars for tye president suite for one night!
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel I just wished they were offering their regular breakfast options like it was prior to covid-19.
Nice hotel. One of our favorites in the area. Great rooms/suites w/ more space than most hotel rooms. Prefer cleaner rooms but no hotel really meets my cleanliness expectations. This one is pretty good. Great breakfast but typically takes time to grab everything you need when you have the kids with you because there's so much to choose from. Often the tables are too far to leave the kids unattended when travelling solo trying to get everything needed for breakfast. Appreciate that they have Disney Jr. Many hotels only have the main channels which often don't offer cartoons for the 5 and under crowd. Overall, great place to stay and one we'll continue to use when coming through the area.
Angel , front desk manager along with Marie, and Alexandros, were great. Took care of all of our needs and were truly hospitable. Room was clean, breakfast was good and surprisingly enough, the coffee was great. Looking forward to returning. Keep it up guys, great property.
Close to dining and 95. Place was clean and staff was friendly.
Pros:
Room: Clean and HUGE! We stayed in a Double Queen Suite, so it had a separate living room.
Food/Drinks: Fantastic free hot breakfast! They offered anything from freshly made omelets to a yogurt bar. They even have a free Happy Hour where you get free drinks and snacks. (And yes, when I say free drinks, I'm referring to alcoholic ones. Crazy, right?!) We were quite impressed.
Waiting Service: On top of it and polite!
Con:
Front Desk: I'm not referring to all of them. (Chip was wonderful!) But long story ...not so short, we booked our stay through the hotel (not a 3rd party) so we could specify the exact room we were interested in. We even called ahead of time to make sure we could check in at 2 pm instead of 3 pm, which they assured us was just fine. When we arrived, we were told the room wasn't ready and that we would need to come back at 3. A little irritated, I said "Well, what was the point of calling first?" And a different front desk woman asked "Do you want a clean room?". We were shocked that that's how she treats customers. But since we needed to eat lunch, we headed back out. When we came back at 3, we were then told that the room was still not ready and that it would be another 45 min. (Not one apology for the inconveniences yet) Now we're beyond irritated, so we told them we would look elsewhere for a room. A few minutes later they apologized and found us a similar room ready. So we weren't 100% pleased with how things started but everything ended up fine.
Good breakfast. Had a 3 night stay they had to refund deposit & 2 night stay because of bugs all in the room!!! For the price that I paid I shouldn't be sleeping with bugs and the vibe I got wasn't the first time.
I always enjoy staying with the Hilton chains and stayed with this location because it is 1 mile away from my training site. Good parking area, clean hotel in lobby and room. Suite setting gives me a great working area in the hotel room. Will stay again if I come back to the area. Very convenient by car, about 30 minutes from Jacksonville airport, and many good places to eat with 5 miles driving. Walmart is almost next door, and Publix supermarket also with in 5 minutes by car.
It's fabulous, service, clean environment great accomodations.
Friendly hotel staff. Rooms are aging and could use an update i.e. shower hard to turn on, low water pressure etc. Nice beds and bedding.
We had 2 days of training coffee was cold in the meeting rooms they would leave food and snacks and no utensils had to ask for everything bathrooms were not very clean
The free drinks are great but the less than satisfactory check in process and extremely loud atrium made for an unpleasant stay.
Great place rooms look and feel great complementary breakfast is awesome. Wi-Fi kinda slow but outside of that great hotel.
Where do I even begin? The AC didn t work in my room (Room 434) so it was hot as hell in the room. The shower leaked out cold water, the sockets on the lamps didn t work, the TV channels were wrong, the staff was beyond rude and straight up jerks to anyone who asked a simple question, and the food was terrible. I will not be returning. Good job on y all for messing so many things up.
Love the breakfast!! Lovely place. Very comfortable and a nice staff. Dinner could have been better though. Don't drink the water
We've been staying here twice a years for the past few years and decided that this will be our last stay. The quality of people staying there has gone downhill so we were uncomfortable using the pool and spa. There was no less then 30 people yelling and screaming in the pool and spa. While in the spa 10 other teenagers piled in with her splashing and yelling forcing her out. The staff was superb and courteous as always. I guess this is happening because their price has dropped. Buffet breakfast was also great as always. Room wasn't as clean as it used to be. Leftovers from TGI Fridays found in fridge. AC unit was in ceiling above bathroom and was super LOUD. On a side note the Omaha Steak restaurant is where we usually eat. Their food is WAY overpriced and their desserts have gotten MUCH smaller. The waiting staff has gotten snooty and acts like they are fine dining. The steaks themselves were good and deserts were good but half chicken entree was not. It wasn't dry but not moist and was essentially grilled and slapped on a plate. The veggies were steamed and unseasoned and they no longer substitute anything. Broccoli MUST be purchased a-la-cart for $4.
Food was great, friendly staff and quiet rooms. Although the rest of the room was fine, the office/kitchen was a little rough.
I hadn't visited Embassy Suites for awhile, but wow. Very modern, clean and inspiring. Thumbs up !
The rooms were extremely nice. Easy access to swimming pool. Oh the Breakfast Buffet was awesome.
Had a marvelous time in our suite this weekend for my wife and daughter's birthday. Massages, indoor swimming pool and workout gym.
Had the most wonderful spontaneous stay here at Embassy! The only thing I am upset about is having to leave after one night and not being able to get a chance to get the names of the very accommodating man working at night and the man working in the morning at the front desk. :( Upon getting the keys to the room and taking the elevator up, (which by the way has a nice view of the lobby area), we were taken aback to how clean the place was! The room was clean and did not smell of any overbearing chemicals, the bathroom was stocked up and THE BEST YET, the pillows and bed were very clean and very very comfy! I wanted to take a pillow home because it was just THAT fluffy! Breakfast was complimentary from morning (I don't know what time because I was hungover hehe) until 10:30am! Thank goodness I got there in time to put a little something in my stomach. The pool and hot tub were great, plus it was indoors so no bugs! Jacksonville has such nice people and we really enjoyed our stay here. We definitely will be back and we hope to come across the man who checked us in! If you're reading this, you are great!! Hotels need more people who are as accommodating and cool as you! Thanks for the great experience! 10 stars all the way!
I stay here when i go to Jacksonville on business, its a very pleasent hotel
Very friendly staff, clean rooms and ample parking.
Food is low key trash for lunch they give you carrots popcorn cheese that taste nasty. And also these like tortilla chips that were just diffrent colors but other than that it was good
Nice conference rooms and friendly staff. Good restaurant. Pleasant experience
Very friendly services, breakfast, heated pool, exercise room and happy hour from 5pm to 8pm
Love this place. Friendly Staff. They have a Great Breakfast and Happy Hour!
I stay in hotels all year long and every time I come to JAX I have to stay here because of the service. The staff is great!
Don't give 5stars away, but this an amazing hotel. Great value without compromise. Very kid friendly too!
For the price, I should not had to have gone downstairs to get coffee packets and toilet paper because the people cleaning and replenishing the room didn't do it.
Front desk would not answer phone when we tried to address a problem with our room. Large parties were shouting and carrying on in the atrium at 2 am and the front desk would not do anything about it. I normally love Embassy Suites but this one leaves a lot to be desired.
Only stay there for 1 night, the room was perfect and the breakfast too. It's pretty close to the I95 so it's a perfect rest place if you are on a road trip
Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. This location needs to be updated as it is showing wear and age. A discarded martini glass with olives sat on a 5th floor railing the entirety of my 3 day stay.
We were very excited to stay at the hotel.i called several times to make sure my reservation was ready and when I arrived it wasn't.get the person's name whoever you speak to when u call because when I arrived the customer clerk denied what she said and a supervisor said she was a manager which was not true.they didn't really accommodate and didn't meet my expectations at all at least not for an embassy suites. Not good customer service at all
