It was a great place to stay, great staff, great rooms, great food. Would stay here again!
Wasn't there to visit the hotel itself but the surroundings were beautiful.
Beautiful property. Great restaurant and excellent staff. I Highly recommend staying here .
Nice place to meet for drinks with friends. Good place to talk and laugh with people.
Check in was fast and easy and the room was very clean. They also have many options for breakfast. Everything was nice and well maintained.
This is absolutely one of the worst Embassy Suites I have ever stayed at. Right when we walked in to the front door, there was already someone complaining about the room so we knew that it wasn't a good sign. The room was very old and tacky. It looked like it was Key West Style. There was mold in our shower. There was a huge stain on our carpet, looked like a greenish liquid. And regarding the shower, there was hardly any pressure to the water. Oh but thank god that they had the 20 year old Nintendo 64 to play on. Will not be returning here ever again.
They got nice rooms and a nice lobby room. The breakfast is pretty good but i've eaten better.
Great room, ambitious was wonderful and breakfast was good. Would recommend it to everyone.
Great room and staff. Good social hour. But not one bench outside to chill on. Shame on Management decision to ditch park benches. No return for me.
They have a real issue cleaning the rooms. Bathroom was very dirty. Another couple with us had to change rooms twice because of the lack of cleanliness in the room. The best part of staying there was the breakfast. Will not stay there again.
Clean room, great options for breakfast, courteous staff. Ice cold a/c & a quiet place to rest your head. Only downside is they pack creamer options for coffee!! Bring your own creamer.
great location, wonderful staff. embassy suites is always a good choice and when in Jacksonville this is the one I chose
Beautiful hotel that's being renovated. Half of my lights in the room worked and the smell was bad but that was to be expected.
Very amazing workers and great place to visit overall!!!
Ok been here many times. Seems to have gone downhill a bit
The rooms are always clean and the staff are extremely helpful. I stay here whenever I am in the city.
Large suites and an indoor pool. Oh and customer service is a strong buzzword that often gets thrown around but Alexis the front desk guy was amazing and embodies what great customer service is. We joked around about me getting pretty bruised up from a bike accident early on in the day. He offered bandaids and bacitracin for my wounds. He went above and beyond. Been a loyal Hilton honors member for years and hope people like him get recognized for promoting their brand.
It isn't the best Embassy Suites that I have stayed in, but it isn't bad at all. I have been to this one twice, so that should tell our something. The receptionist, Pam, at the front counter was very nice. She actually can p to unstop the toilet after the security guard failed to do so. Instead of trying, he handed the plunger to me, the guest. Be sure to ask for extra towels if more than three people are staying in the room.
If internet is important, be sure to bring your own connection or be prepared to spend 10 bucks per day.
Great facility with great staff!!! DJMARK904 Platinum Entertainment DJ Services
Beautifully renovated and comfortable for families to relax indoors. Great breakfast avilabke and bar too.
The first room we had was not cleaned very well. It looked as if it was thrown together in a hurry. Beds half made up. We talked to the manager and they gave us another room. The breakfast was great and enjoyable.
I've stayed at this Baymeadows location on three different occasions and requested an upgrade to have an even better experience than the previous two. However, this stay was the worst I've ever experienced at any Hilton! Check in was pleasant and I was given complimentary waters in a cute little paper bag without asking. But once I got to my room, it was warm, the coffee table had dirty coffee ring stains, and my Kleenex box only had two tissues in it. I called the front desk to correct this but got attitude from the operator only offering another room. I went to their happy hour hoping everything will be straitened out by the time I got back to my room. When I returned to my room, it was still hot, a box of Kleenex was laying on its side next to my laptop ( not in the Kleenex holder in the bathroom as expected), and the stains still on the coffee table. I noticed the computer desk was wiped down instead. So, I decided to get dressed and go out to dinner to wind down and relieve my frustration. I stopped by the office to follow up since I had not heard anything. The front desk clerk said she thought it was taken care of but she would place another work order. At no point did anyone apologize for the inconveniences. In fact, the clerk and another male staffer made a comment and laughed as I left the building... I'll never ever stay at this location again because of the unprofessionalism there!!!
Nice place. Reasonably priced. Breakfast. .good. Perfect location. Service absolutely good. Front desk staff very helpful. House keeping good. One more comment. ..Mattress /bed. .not very comfortable however I prefer bit hard mattress. ..
Very nice. Only issue some small roaches in the pool area and ants in the coffee maker.
This place has great pricing, entertainment and clean, comfortable rooms. It s very unique in style
Excellent stay. Extremely friendly staff. Wouldn't hesitate to book again.
Very nice hotel, great staff. Nice Managers reception each night. Rooms are comfy and plenty of space for my husband to watch his tv and me to watch mine!
After a not so great start, managmeman was able to turn things around and really change my experience. Thank you
Comfortable room and beds. Swimming pool was closed.
Four of us booked the hotel to stay for 2 nights. The hotel is quite large and 2 out of the 3 elevators didn't work. The staff was a little rude at the front desk asking me for a FL license because the address I made the reservation with didn't match my NY ID. She grilled me and looked at me like I was trying to pull a fast one. I simply asked if my NY drivers license was acceptable. I was then told "there is more than one Rob Snyder in the world, how do I know it's you". I handed her the credit card that the reservation was booked with and she didn't say a word after that, not thank you, or OUR ELEVATORS DON't work. The best part was the hot breakfast! Right off 95, convenient location.
This location caters to larger groups, especially youth groups. During a one week stay there were two different nights that dozens of children were running throughout the building, playing in the glass elevators, and the enclosed atrium amplifies the sound. Continental breakfast is mayhem. My peers had stayed at this location the week prior and said it was the same. Talking to management does not help. The rooms are dated, but clean and in good shape. Only positive I experienced at this location is the children are not allowed in Chelsea's Bar and Grill, which is quiet and serves a decent meal.
Great hotel. Very clean. Breakfast and cocktail hour were fantastic.
I rate a "Zero" . I could of stayed at a comfort inn & had better experience. Had water leaking from ceiling in bathroom. They came to fix (1) time but did not fix problem. Also, currently have construction going on which I highly recommend do not stay during under construction. Definitely, is not worth any amount of discount to stay here. Worse hotel experience ever.
I was at Embassy suites for Jax Anime day. I had no problems and the staff was friendly.
Wonderful rooms with clean, comfortable beds. Food could use some work but what hotel doesn't.
Wonderful hotel. Mary and Pat went above the call of duty. I almost left my necklace but came back and the maid was cleaning the room. She had my necklace out and on the table ready to report it. I am so grateful for Selena for also making our trip that extra star worthy.
On 6/30/2018 I requested reservations online for a stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton Jacksonville and received an email with a reservation number. After a 5 hour drive and almost a hour before arriving I received a call from the representative of the hotel stating they had over booked. I explained to him I had a confirmed confirmation number and less than 1 hour before arriving, around 10pm. He apologized, placed me on hold for 10 minutes and said he would contact me back. NEVER heard back from the hotel desk representative, so I decided to contact Hilton Honors (HH). Apparently I had nowhere to stay in a location I was arriving. After 30 minutes the HH representative found a room at Hampton Inn 2 miles away as I set in the dark at a Domino's parking lot. After 6 years as a Silver HH member, I was disappointed. I would have understood if they were over booked and I couldn't complete a reservation but I had an email stating the reservation number complete. HH representative got me another reservation today with Embassy Suites in Jacksonville which is walking distance to the purpose of being in Jacksonville. I plan to speak with manager in the a.m. First night feeling uneasy at an embassy suite. #unhappy #silvercustomer #hiltonpromise
Very very nice very clean the staff is very hospitable
Beautiful hotel! Planning a wedding reception there and I love the wedding coordinator.
I stayed in a beautiful room on the top floor with a big balcony. The bed was so cozy and breakfast was delicious!
Decent hotel with plenty of parking. Very close to the I95 and there are also plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is your typical embassy suite layout except for the rear wing which only has four floors and is not exposed to the large eating area and lobby. Try to ask for a room there as it is much quieter. The rooms are standard suite size with a living area complete with sofa table and semi kitchen. The breakfast is free and offers plenty of eating options for everyone. The pool is small and it can get crowded. Pretty good sized exercise room with plenty of machines for all to use.
Great service love the happy hour will be going back for sure!
Great breakfast, clean rooms, nice atrium, Great choice for business travelers family or couples.
Paid almost 400 for a 2 bedroom suite for 1 night. Got charged a cleaning fee of 50 and no deposit back. I have 4 kids I cleaned as best as I could. All they had to do was vacuum. Poor customer service and a scam! Spend money with someone else is my recommendation.
In door pool.... And made to order omlettes... Nuff said
We stay at Embassy suites every time we come to Jacksonville FL, the service is always on point the morning breakfast is very good and free with your stay.
Our stay here wasn't exactly to the standards of the Hilton Brand. We were placed in a room that wasn't cleaned and had used linen still in the bathroom, so we were placed in a second room. That room didn't have any linens and when they brought them to us the towels had hair and a stains. The management comped our room which was nice. The morning breakfast was ok the cook to order omelette was very good. I would give them another chance as we are loyal to the Hilton Brand but I do expect a higher standard of service than this.
I wouldn't stay at this hotel again. We have been to many embassy suites and never have I seen anything like this one. When we arrived there was a large group outside and 2 cops standing near them. As we're walking through the atrium we noticed there was mold on the walls and water leaking down from the ac. We stayed on the 7th floor and in front of our room was another place where there was mold and leaking water. The room was out dated and there were stains on the floor. We decided to go to the "heated" pool which was freezing and a bit cloudy. After a little while we decided we couldn't stay there. On the way out of the hotel we heard a group screaming like someone was killing them. This was at 10 pm in the pool area. I will say that the staff was friendly although when we asked for extra towels it took around 45 min. Wish I would've stayed some where else.
The grits were not fully cooked at breakfast and the new air conditioning system did not blow cold air.
The staff was helpful and courteous . The room was clean and both the happy hour and complementary breakfast were excellent. Nice place to stay.
Great Staff and atmosphere...spacious conference rooms
Friendly staff, great location & food & drinks were awesome!!!
We stayed two nights over the weekend while on a quick family getaway. They have ample parking is available, large gym, and pool area. The rooms appear a bit dated but it was large enough and comfortable for 4 adults. I love that Embassy Suites separates the sitting area and the bedroom.
As far as the made to order breakfast they don t have the fresh pancakes :(...and at times they only had one person making omelette and the line reached the dining area. Unattended children were sticking their hands into the pastry and bread box and touching food then putting it back. Spoons fell into the food and people would reach their hands inside the food to retrieve it. The pancakes in the buffet area were dry. The dark roast coffee was great.
On our first night we went to the bar and ordered the ciabatta chicken sandwich and the Chelsea burger. They both came with kettle chips that I think they make there. I didn t try the burger but the chicken sandwich was really good. The bartender was super friendly and we shared a love of bourbon so he recommended a few brands. I had a Kentucky Mule and it was great. Drinks are pricey but good.
Excellent staff. Clean comfortable rooms. Have stayed multiple times over the years and always enjoyed.
Starting with the check in I was greeted by Lenore Smith who was amazing and greeted me with a smile providing excellent customer service. Next, I was greeted by the AGM Leland Davis during my time in the restaurant/lounge area asking me and other guest in close proximity about the comfort of our stay and asking if there was anything we needed. Nonetheless, I was blown away by the level of customer service as I have traveled far and near utilizing Hilton hotels as a diamond member for my travel needs.
Went for a social event and only commenting on the lobby area. It was very nice and clean. Thinking about hosting an event there.
Staff are nice. The room is ok. Complimentary happy hour is the only reason I gave it 4 stars over 3.
Have to exchange bills for coins for the laundry machines at the front desk. Not sure why they don't have a coin machine in the laundry rooms but anyway.
The wifi is awful on the standard option. Takes 5 or more minutes to load a page sometimes. If it is that bad on the standard then I doubt the premium is significantly better.
They keep the side paths to the parking lot gated so if youre on the wrong side of the road you have to make a U turn every single time to get back to hotel which is irritating. At the time of this post there is construction blocking a left turn into the parking lot but they're adding to that area from what I can tell so left turns won't be possible even after construction is gone.
They have an online chat via your phone to message the front desk which is nice in these socially distant times, but they never brought the rags and coffee mug I asked for (room wasn't stocked with hand rags for shower or glasses) after confirming they would.
Overall not a bad hotel but I'll probably stay somewhere else in the future primarily because of the U turns I have to make and the shoddy internet since I'm here for work purposes. I
Extremely clean, very friendly staff and very comfortable rooms. Love the cooked to order breakfast and the managers reception.
It really was a beautiful hotel. They even provide free Cocktails every night and free breakfast. Rooms were spacious, much better than what I was expecting.
Love staying here when we travel to Jacksonville it's the only place we stay at. Very friendly staff and very accommodating clean rooms overall a great place to stay.
Wonderful! Clean! Friendly staff! Pool that is actually warm enough to swim in! Great food and snacks!
Very accommodating. Issues with Internet, they took care of it right away. Breakfast was great as usual with embassy. The evening social was nice too. Attending a conference in the hotel. Meeting rooms very nice.
I love this hotel. The front desk personnel, Mary specifically, was very accommodating with the check in process and the room I was given was very clean. I hope to come back on my next visit to Jacksonville.
Great service. The rooms are spacious and the hotel staff was extremely friendly. What was also great as they have some food and drinks between 5:30 and 7 which made it pleasurable. The location is free south of everything but for the price is worthless day. Only a few minutes away from downtown and the beach
Our stay was fantastic! The room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious, especially the made on demand omelets. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful! We would definitely stay here, again! We highly recommend this hotel!
Good condition but the elevators need some repair. Fix them up and you'd have a 5 Star from me.
