Omg I live in jax and I come here often to vacation. Yes, you definitely read it right! This is one of the most amazing hotels I have stayed in! Comfortable, affordable, excellent customer service, great room service and the BREAKFAST is to die for! I witness the change before and after the renovations. Its beautiful, elegant and up to date. But I will say I miss the old look! It was tropical, warm and beyond inviting! Definitely a #1 recommendation!

I been here before, but never stayed the night. This is the best place ever. I got a drink when I walked through the door, clean room, and buffet breakfast when I awakened. Much love to the staff

We love staying at Embassy Suites. This one has gone above and beyond to accomodate us. We are here for a convention with family that are not staying at the hotel. For a small fee they allowed our other family members to join us for breakfast and happy hour. Everything has been fantastic here!

Looks a lot better on the inside than the outside. Bar was clean and they had a large drink variety. We hung out in the social area near the lobby, it was huge and had lots of places to sit and lots of room to move around and socialize. I have no experience with the actual rooms as I only spent time in the lobby area. It seems the doors to the rooms faced the lobby we were in and i wonder if guests could hear us.

Easy, free parking. Nice lobby. There is a bar there, and multiple Internet and printing points. The conference rooms are perfect for small to mid-sized events. If you really need to, you can expand out into the lobby with signup tables, etc.

It has a family restroom with adjustable mood music volume. Close to Indian restaurants. You are going to need the privacy of that spacious, clean bathroom a little while after you go to those Indian restaurants.

Very close to most shopping. Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market is right down the street; The Avenues Mall, and Wal-Mart Supercenter are not far around the corner.; and in the other direction is all of the Southside shopping afforded by San Jose Boulevard. If you like thrift shops, there are several nearby. And, really, you are not crazy far from the upscale outdoor mall, St. John's Town Center.

The array of restaurants in the array is enough to keep most anyone happy.

Some details need to be improved. I just found that the body lotion and a pen are still on the ground, then the coffee machine is broken, and the glass is not cleaned, and the impression is greatly reduced. Overall, it's not bad, just can't look at it.

Front Desk clerk (MARION)older Caucasian lady, was very rude to me, as if I didn't deserve to stay or be there, There was no access to indoor swimming pool besides that it was very small & was not deep, on the plus side the rooms were very clean and they provided a happy hour with free drinks as many drinks as you wanted and could take and the breakfast was very delicious but some of the staff were sort of off-putting and a little racist

We start at the embassy suites whenever we are Jacksonville. They have nice large rooms and the breakfast is good. There can be long lines for the breakfast on holidays. They do have free drinks in the evenings as well. The housekeeping is fine, but they do often end up cleaning the room in the late afternoon. The pool is good for the kids, especially since it is indoors, so weather isn't an issue.

This place appears to be newly renovated. All the rooms are 2 room suites with a living area when you walk in and a bedroom in the back. The living area has a sofa, chair ottoman and a desk/ table along with a wet bar, mini fridge and microwave. The water pressure is OK but not great (plenty of hot water). Since this is an atrium type hotel all rooms exit to the expansive atrium so noise in the front (living area) room can be heard from echoes in the building but the bedroom was quiet for us. No musty smells and bed is comfortable (looks like the entire interior including carpeting was replaced in the last year). Would stay here again if I needed to be in the area.

Room was a little musty, smelled of animal. They had a lot of dogs when I was there, mostly due to the hurricane threat. But overall, not a bad place. Has a small pool and spa. Small fitness room and a decent bar.

We stay at Embassy Suites pretty much every time we travel. It is perfect for parents with kids because it is a suite. It is nice that breakfast and wifi are included and the kids can swim after being in the car. That being said this was the worst one we have stayed in. The hallways were so dark and the ceilings are so low. The bathroom tiny! The chair in the room was full of stains. The coach cushion torn. The staff was not friendly with the exception of the omelet making guy. I will choose a different hotel next time I'm in Jacksonville

My husband has a business trip so we have to stay here for 2 weeks. The hotel is more like conference hotel, most of the guests here for a business trip or short trip like visiting family and all. It's pet friendly hotel so don't be surprise to see dogs around, in the elevator, and in the atrium during breakfast.

There is laundry room (coin washer & dryer) on the second floor, you can get some changes at the front desk. Detergent .... $ 1.00 , washing machine (23 mins) .... $ 2.00 , dryer machine (50 mins) .... $ 2.00

Vending machine available on every floor, there is small shop beside the front desk.

They provide complimentary shuttle bus within 7 miles every Mon - Fri (drop & pick up).

My husband, my son and myself stayed at this hotel back at the end of March first part of April. I was there for an all female motorcycle ride. We were happy and satisfied. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and we enjoyed happy hour and the breakfast Buffett. We will be returning to Jacksonville next yr around the same time for the same event. We will be staying at this hotel again!!!

Pier one is the perfect place for family vacations. It's within walking distance to everything that visitors want to do in Key West. There's a great beach and pool, it's perfect for all ages. The rooms are all very modern with comfortable beds and updated bathrooms. The perfect getaway.

The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Complimentary happy hour and breakfast are a great deal for the price. Only complaint is that the hotel WiFi isn't very fast and I can't find an Ethernet outlet in the room

So we are currently staying here

So we are currently staying here
check out is tomorrow (Sunday) and I am so disaapointed! Our room was dirty! Crumbs left behind, food splatters on the wall (if that was even what it was) and the microwave had left over food from previous guest, what I believe to be was noodles cooked in the Microwave because for sure it was noodles and vegetables left behind in the microwave and the microwave plate was still wet and soppy. The bathroom has no real ventilation. When we showered the walls were dripping with water! The parking lot was also completely full by 11pm.Had to circle around several times for parking. While the front desk and lobby looks well cared for the rest of the place is patch work all over. For the price this place was def not worth it. On the bright side, the staff is amazing but seriously Embassy...hire new housekeepers or retrain them on how to properly clean a room.

This was by far the worst experience I have ever encountered in any hotel. I was there just for a weekend. When checking in the front desk lady was very rude and customer service was awful it was as if she did not want to be there. Once in the room there was a spot on my bed (that looked like dry blood) I told the front desk no one came to change it for hours than it was never changed it was left on the bed and they came and put the sheets on the bed didnt even change it. The next day i went to take my kids ot the pool and there is construction inside the pool area around the jacuzzi which is very dangerous the whole pool should have been closed. On top of that pool water is suppose to be clear blue not a cloudy green. Everything to top this I am an employee with hilton and I am very bothered and upset that this hotel carries themselves this type of way. The manager should be ashamed of herself. I would refer this hotel to no one. Only thing that was good out of this was all you can drink cocktails that was it.
