The staff was friendly, and the rooms felt cozy, definitely wouldn't consider high end, but still a great experience, the restaurant food was good but really expensive for what it was.

One of their tenants is a nationally known franchise business. I went there alot during my stay.

There were handicapped signs and a ramp but no auto door opener for them. Making it difficult to enter the property.

They apparently choose who does business at that Tennant's location as well. I learned about a regular customer who was recently kicked out of the establishment. She was homeless and yet NEVER any trouble there.

Had a wonderful stay at this location. Arrived on a Saturday morning. First off know that there is only valet parking available and its roughly $35 +- and you get to take your car in and out of the lot as much as you need throughout your stay.

As you go in the lobby you will find some areas are been renovated so there might be construction equipment around. Lobby and surrounding areas are very well decorated with a modern look with White tones and elegant looks.

There is a row of 4 elevators to take guest to any floor with out having to wait.
As we arrive to our room we see a living room area with very nice chairs and a couch as well as a big TV on the wall with several choices of channels followed by a small sink and a refrigerator and a microwave. The bathroom has a blow dryer available as well as a iron but no ironing board.

Our room had 2 full size beds and a great view of the ocean front towards the USS Midway. We had the 12th floor so we got lucky with a very nice view.

There is pool and Jacuzzi area which where very nice and clean as well as a gym/work out room. Every floor also has a laundry room area for guest to use

around 5 pm we where offered to the complementary appetizers and open bar on the lower section near the lobby as well as complimentary breakfast in the morning.

Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and would come back again and again.

Forgot to clean room. Almost got kicked out for complaining. Really? Look at your comments you have an issue with housecleaning. Please deal with it. Not recommended at Almost 300 per night.

The location is great. Hotel is walkable to all of the major downtown areas including Little Italy and the Gaslamp area. There are also a good night of restaurants within a couple blocks. The needs are comfortable as is to be expected from a Hilton property. The one negative factor of these rooms is that the a/c is loud and comes on frequently throughout the night. Plus the placement of the fan blows directly at the second bed. This makes me glad I don't have a King bed, but the double beds feel a little smaller than usual. The daily breakfast and daily happy hour included is great, but the cost of parking (valet only and $50 at time of writing) is absolutely absurd. The staff has been very friendly and I would recommend this hotel to anyone willing to pay the parking fee it without a car.

The Embassy Suites is a nice hotel that is centrally located to seaport village and the boardwalk. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. They offer a really good cook to order breakfast. The hotel is also within walking distance (about a mile) to the gaslamp quarter. They only have valet parking, which is $50/night. They do not offer self parking.

Stayed here a week ago and found the hotel nice enough. However the valet cost is really high. At $50 a night, you can get a parking ticket in adjacent "no parking 3-6am" spots near the hotel cheaper at $40/fine. Lucky for us we only got a ticket one of the three nights we stayed. I want to add, though somewhat situational; The pool was closed and over 30 days behind the scheduled opening listed on their website. Further, our TVs did not work and took a couple calls and visits to function properly. Neither amenity offered as a comp though advertised in sale of the room.

It is OK. I do like the option to not have maid service on favor of a voucher. Rooms are ok. MY window looks like it hasn't been cleaned I'm years. It's not a happy experience looking through a filthy window...

Great location, close to most attractions on waterfront. Housekeeping staff very good. Front desk staff not so much. Slow, confused and probably worst check out experience I've had in long time. Valet parking is only option and is a disaster. Long waits, traffic jams in driveway. A real gong show. Hotel is older but well maintained. Rooms ok but a bit small for a suite hotel and showing their age.

Embassy Suites in San Diego was a great place to stay. Very accommodating staff and amazing facility. Water bottles were offered complimentary and for the premium floors, snacks were provided in the room for no extra cost. The rooms were very clean, and either had one King bed with a pull out couch, or two queen beds with a pull out couch. The beds were separated from the pull out couch by a separating door, offering privacy. Both the pull out couch room, and the bedroom had flat screen HD TVs. The rooms had microwaves and mini fridges, as well as a safe. Our rooms were equipped with cartridge style coffee machines. The bathroom was spacious and well lit, however it did not have an extraction fan. The climate control in the room worked great, and there were outside access windows that could be opened for increased airflow. Complementary breakfast was offered every morning. Parking was not included, costing 50 dollars a day, and required valet. Overall, great spot with quick access to Gaslamp District. Many perks included and very clean, accommodating place.

Awesome staff, great hotel, room, and location!!! I would like to highlight that the location is perfect if you are staying there with family, friends, and/or looking to for something that's close to everything. Also, they have a Dunkin Donuts shared with a Baskin Robins that's attached...how super awesome is that?

Stayed in the two room suite on the 9th floor which had a view of the bay area which was AWESOME!! Loved being able to look out the window and see ships come in and all other activities below. Highly recommend going with this or similar option.

Loved that so much including the waterfront were within a few minutes walking distance.

As a heads up, they only do valet parking with a cost of $50 a day (at the time when we stayed) however, you go with their hourly valet parking option and possibly find parking on the street which is free Mon-Sat (6pm - 8am) that may save you a few bucks. Also, it is free the entire day on Sunday. Since we spent most days out and about we used the meters on the street which were $1.25 an hour at the time we stayed during back and forth and then parked on the street for free after 6pm. Locations around hotel seemed safe and we did not run into any issues doing so during our stay.

Highly recommend & hope to visit again!!

The breakfast was huge, the queue was painful and it was very close to the beach. The hotel parking for $46 is quite expensive, there are 2 cheap parking lots next to it, and there is a free night 8 to 18 am. It is recommended to use the best parking query.

The stay was just okay I have stayed in several Hilton hotels as my husband is a Hilton Honors member at least for the last 7 years and have had a much better experience. Let me first by saying that after getting our room within 5 minutes of entering I see a Roach running across the bathroom counter one word Disgusting. Then the day after check out I noticed 2 charges on my account one for 46 which this charge was supposed to be waived for parking so my husband called to get it figured it and Sheila answered the phone and my husband was trying to explain to her that this was supposed to be waived she kept cutting him off and asking him did you park here? He asked her if he could explain why this was supposed to be waived and she asked again if he parked there so he asked for some one that could help she hung up on him not once but twice. Finally he called back the 4th time and got a gentleman that answered and was able to assist as he was willing to listen to my husbands concern. I will never stay at this location again . One last thing why is housekeeping knocking on my door asking me what time is my checkout? I have never had this happen and it's kind of an inconvenience when I am trying to get ready to leave it felt I was being rushed out.

My family and I stayed there last week and when we first got in the room there were dirty underwear left in the room from the previous guest. The dresser and T.V. fell over on my cousin, and the downstairs bathroom had the odor of a sewer. I feel certain we will not be staying there again.

Love Enbassy Suites when traveling with the family. The cooked to order breakfast is awesome, but the evening reception was a little more spartan than I've had at other Embassy Suites (carrot, celery sticks, chips salsa dip hummus, nothing hot.)

We truly enjoy our stay at this hotel! The staff are very friendly, the room is exceptional, and the spa is amazing! I was beyond surprised at the hotel. We had a wonderful time, and it was nice to escape the madness into a smoke-free, casino-free environment. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Pros: Room is spacious for 2 adults + 2 kids. Good location, walking distance to attractions like the USS Midway, Gaslamp, the sea village. 10-minute drive to SD Zoo. The complimentary breakfast buffet was awesome. Above par housekeeping. In-room Keurig machine with many k-cups.
Cons: The water pressure was low in the bathroom. No self parking. Valet parking costs $50 a night. Worst of the worst, I waited 40 minutes for my car due to tagging issue. However, the valet manager was very professional and polite to have things straightened out for us.
