Ali at the front desk was probably the most pleasa...
Ali at the front desk was probably the most pleasant hospitality professional I have ever interacted with. The building is ver nice and the food is great. Thanks for the great experience

Big hotel and breakfast was not up to standards. ( the line without cooked to order) Seating area seemed understaffed with a lot of dirty tables.
Near Seaport Village and Midway Museum. Price is reasonable.
I have no complaints, re option was nice, the amount of stairs is a little off putting but the central location and validated parking is really nice....would stay again
All two suites. Mini fridge in each room and two 32 inch TVs. A great place to stay when you find yourself in San Diego.
Went there to meet my cousin. Parking is not great so you might as well park at seaport village. This location also has a Dunkin donuts which is rare in San Diego.
Great place! Quite and comfortable.. everybody is so nice and helpful?
Spacious rooms and excellent location convenient to the Bay as well as several restaurants and other attractions. Definitely a nice alternative to more typical convention hotels.
Hotel was nice, great location close to public transport links and the Antrak, hotel was clean, large spacious rooms with all the things you would need, breakfast was nice with option to have freshly prepared eggs and omelette. You get a $ 5 dollar voucher if you don't require maid service that you can use in the bar. Sadly only thing that let it down was the level of knowlege/abilility of some ( not all) of the reception staff, we were booked in for the incorrect number of days which caused embarrassment as the hotel staff expected us to leave three days early, we where also billed incorrectly but this was hopefully resolved and when asked basic questions about the city staff seemed to lack any local knowledge which was strange. House keeping team where lovely. Breakfast team where great as well.
Excellent bay and city views! Very clean and beautiful!
The hotel lobby is beautiful and I would have given the experience 5 stars had the electricity in the room not been cut off with warning given via note under the door the morning of departure... if that weren't inconvenient enough, I left a watch in the room and it [evidently] was left behind. I ve called housekeeping lost and found, no message back even though they promise returned call within 24 hours . I packed up all jewelry in the bathroom and it cannot be found anywhere - unfortunately it s both sentimental and valuable. The last morning and after responsiveness have not been stellar - I would recommend caution when booking.
We greatly enjoyed or stay at Embassy Suites. Kids used the pool. Wife used the hot tub. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Drinks being free for managers happy hour a nice bonus. Bayside view was fantastic.
Embassy Suites has generally been a great hotel. I felt this visit was particularly expensive. The breakfast food was not as good as I remembered from prior visits.
There is a store group where you can shop and eat nearby. Free WiFi, with snack service in the evening (as of 2018) Gaslamp Quarter is within walking distance, but you need to walk for 10-20 minutes.
Terrible. Would not suggest this hotel to anyone. Hot water didn t work. Tv s didn t work. Pool under renovation. Fitness room closed. Restaurant food awful. Could continue but won t. Simply put - don t stay here. Go to the Wyndham or best western - much better and less expensive.
Really good. Nice convenient location. Front desk people very friendly. Love love breakfast, especially omelettes per your order. Weeknights they have manager special happy hours. Very clean hotel considering seen so many homeless outside.
Excellent place to stay. Walking distance to many attractions and wonderful staff.
Rooms are spacious. Service is great. Breakfast is excellent. evening get together with snacks and free drinks is a definite plus.
Will almost certainly try to stay here next time I am in town for a meeting.
The room is beautiful and has a great view of the bay. The downside is the smell of breakfast permeates into the room so you can get woken by the delicious smell of bacon cooking at 5am
The staff are really friendly and the views are amazing no matter where you are
Stayed here for four nights. Great service, reception and nice clean room. The complimentary breakfast and night reception was great as well. Good food and free drinks. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Horrible. The hotel has no feelings towards anyone and what they experienced this weekend. Someone jumped and they had it very exposed to all guests to view. Instead of calling or notifying anyone. They did not. It was my husband's birthday.
Hotel is very nice and love it's location , a little disappointed with the parking fee, because they charge too much , it's like taking advantage of the situation because there is really no place to park so they feel they have the right to charge their guest whatever they feel like it. Thankful for breakfast and their nightly socials..
Found a Qtip on the bedroom floor so I'm not sure how detailed they are in their cleaning.. the entrance in the hotel has a bucket cause the ceiling is leaking for i don't know the reason why ..it took away the beauty and the elegance of the entrance ..
So far this staff are nice which is a Plus. . So I hope in our remaining days here we will have fun and more memorable moments ..for this is our anniversary. . We should have every right to make this visit a memorable one
The location can't be beat! It's walking distance to EVERYTHING!!! Free breakfast. Bonus-Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins is in the lobby! Yay!
DUNKIN DONUTS NEED HAVE THERE OWN REST ROOM PLEASE AND THANK YOU FROM JAMES ALFRED LOWELL PARKER
Super pleased with our stay. Never had to leave. ++
Location is great right across the street from Headquarters and Seaport Village. Rooms are nice and free breakfast is included. Rooms are very large.
Valet was expensive, no self parking. Toilet had very low pressure, needed to be flushed twice.
Giant rooms. Two TVs. Clean. Great service. Delicious free breakfast. Highly recommend it!
Beautiful location. Easy to get to trams from here.
Parking fee outrageous. Good breakfast buffet. Clean rooms.
Room was very old and dirty.pool is out of commission.moved to a new room still had horrible big spot stains on it.broken cabinets.maid came in left dirty cups dishes. No like the better one in SF.
Great location, service and vibe. Very expensive valet parking only.
Great location right next to the pier, rooms are clean and spacious. Complimentary breakfast and evening drinks as an added bonus!
Good place but the breakfast they give gets to cold
Really enjoyed my stay here. Everything was perfect.
Stayed here on a family vacation in summer 2013.
Pros: Excellent location (walking distance to SeaPort, Gaslamp Quarter and USS Midway), free breakfast was excellent (but get there early, it gets crowded by 8am), staff is extremely helpful and courteous
Cons: No free WiFi ($12 extra per day) this was a big one for me, since I couldn't seem to get data on my cell phone in the room; $35 per day valet parking charge is outrageous (and then they expect gratuity on top of that)
Me and my sister came today to buy food at dunkin donuts. We were last here last year in July. Today we could not enter the side by dunkin donuts unless we had a key. We were not guest but buying from dunkin donuts and needed to use the rest room. This has changed you never needed a key. This guy walks up while we trying to figure out why the door won't open. Asks if we have a key. We think he is a guest so we say no we coming to use the restroom. I tell him it was not this way last time we here and it turns out he is the manager of the hotel he bought it last year claimed he changed this a year ago (untrue we here 9 months ago). He said very rude we can't use the restroom unless we guest. We said we buying at dunkin donuts. To which he said we can use it but have to go around front. He claims the reason he changed it was everyone coming to use the restrooms and some one stole from their breakfast buffet. Once we did go inside it says you need a key to use the buffet how could you steal? No one questioned us coming in the front door. How does this stop his 2 issues? And why would random people come in go use the restrooms? Every time we come at least once a year we have only seen guest in here. Either way I would never stay in a place like this where the manager thinks he has the right to talk down to you. And make up wrong reasons to keep customers from using the only restroom in that area.
Great place. Good price. Only have valet parking additional $50 added to room per day.
Room and service (including the bell hop Casey) were very on point! Friendly, helpful and clean.
Hotel well placed on the port, in front of the aircraft carrier, 1/4 h from all areas to visit, Gaslamp quarter, little Italy, the port, the ferry. Suites at the top with balconies and city views.
Love the hotel. Very upset I had to wait until 5pm for my room to be ready.
Delicious to-order breakfast, nice rooms, helpful employees...: nice place!
Really nice. Only problem we had is one night we came back and our room door was ajar. And we always check to make sure we close it. There was a receipt under the door so we knew staff had come by. Nothing we noticed was missing
The location is close to many things. So that is nice. Currently there is construction going on very close to the hotel that is making it very loud in rooms. It is not pleasant. There also seems to be an issue with my a/c that has not been addressed.
UPDATE: A/C issue still has not been fixed and it has been 4 nights. TV was fixed. It was an issue they had with the whole hotel for two days. Tonight, there has been a party in the room next to me that is not being addressed. So, if you like to sleep in comfort, I really do not advise staying at this hotel. There are many others around this one that are cheaper where you can get better service and sleep. You can expect to get a message daily about specials for spending money at other Hilton properties though before 8 AM. So, there's that benefit.
I was there for a meeting. The hotel is beautiful and conveniently located to the convention center and Seaport Village. The meeting room was comfortable and quiet. I will probably choose to stay here the next time I am in San Diego.
Very elegant, indoor heated pool. All around good experience!!
Location is a short walk to beach and Gas Lamp district. Accommodating our ridiculously large group of people was awesome. Staff very friendly. Free breakfast and drinks are a bonus!
Typical Embassy Suites, nice rooms good service and quiet
Beautiful hotel which sirs on the Bay. Close to the Gaslamp District. The meeting room that I was in was spacious with hook ups for powerpower.
Parking is only valet and 50 dollars a night! That's a very unwelcoming surprise and pricey for my taste. There is a hour long line for breakfast!! The hotel is crowded.
Wonderful hotel in San Diego!
I've been utilizing this hotel twice a year for over the past 10 years for groups and very pleased with the overall experience. The staff is friendly and courteous, which is very important as some of the travelers are elderly and need extra time and attention. The cooked-to-order breakfast is great, plus it's included in the room rate, not to mention the Manager's Reception - my guests love it!
Overall this is an excellent hotel choice for your San Diego stay that is close to everything and newly renovated too.
Great rooms with bay views. Complimentary breakfast buffet and evening reception with cocktails. Only negative is the outrageous $46/day parking fee. You can park on the street if you find a place but you'll have to keep stoking the meter. Overnight parking is very tricky but can be obtained. You may just want to factor in the $46.
2 of 3 nights and in 2nd room in 2 nights. Both rooms the A/C did not work and rooms stayed at 79 degrees each night! See what happens tonight.
Great family hotel. Breakfast is better than most other hotels I've been to. Recommend getting the premium suite which comes with snacks and drinks. Be aware parking is 50.00 a day! Some noises from other rooms may be notably present.
Stayed in a beautiful, comfortable room in the 12th floor. Nice views of the water and the Midway. Within easy walking distance of Gaslamp district, and the restaurants there, on the water, and in Little Italy. Friendly, helpful staff, especially the valet and bellhops. Beds were oh so soft, amenities were everything that was needed. Would definitely come back here again.
This is a well attended hotel right smack dab in the middle of everything. Close enough to the Convention center, USS Midway, Gaslamp District, and Seaport Village to walk to all of it. The service at the hotel is overall Really good.
All you can't eat breakfast is served every morning consists of the following; Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, french toast, silver dollar pancakes, toast, muffins, bagels, seasonal fruit, and oatmeal with all the fixin's. There are also eggs, omlettes, and pancakes order. Coffee, Tea, Oj, apple juice, and Milk are available.
We stayed at one of the corner suites with a harbor view that was spectacular even with the "June gloom." The bed was comfortable but the room is starting to show its age with the leather sofa starting to peel and some of the finish on the bathroom cabinets was starting to come off.
All in all it was a great stay at a great location.
Very good hotel, all employees very attentive especially Latinos, it is the 2nd time I go, spacious rooms apart, I'll be back !!
Would highly recommend this hotel! Very clean and spacious rooms. The staff is very kind and always trying to help whenever they can. Right across the street from little shops and restaurants on the bay. This is the only hotel we'll ever stay at in San Diego.
The hotel took our entire team's hosting needs very seriously and took care of us well.
Very nice rooms. I made a mistake when selecting room type when booking, but they fixed it at checkin so I still got what I wanted.
We visited this hotel strictly for the Duncan donuts and it did not disappoint.
Nice room, free happy hour and breakfast, always a good bet for a nice stay.
This place is recently remodeled and it looks amazing. It s in a great location and easily available to walk near the water. I would not recommend eating at the Pizza place downstairs as the service is terrible and will tell you they re closed before they re closed.
We had a little accident with one of the pipes breaking during our stay. We fell asleep to running water and woke up with a huge puddle of water in the restroom and on the carpets. They didn t do anything to fix it and just waited until we checked out as they were fully booked.
Also, it s valet only so expect to wait for your car awhile if you decide to go anywhere. It s not very convenient. Really wish it was self-park especially with covid right now.
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Avoid the place if possible. I made a reservation several weeks before my trip. I arrived at 11p.m. and there was a huge line, there were 3 attendants but just once was taken care of the clients. As soon I arrived at the desk, they asked me "what do you need? ", I answered "I'm going to check in" then they laugh and told me that was not possible because the hotel was already sold out and they have overbooked, after requesting further information they decided to send me to another hotel with a voucher, I ended up talking to the manager and she was really rude. I don't understand how can this happen in this facility. Disappointed.
I was not the only person affected, in from of me there was a pregnant lady with her toddler, she also ended up in a different hotel.
They asked me to return next day to see if they already have a room for me, of course I'm not coming back ever.
