Queso was bland but ok. Margarita too strong to drink. Got the El patron fajitas, the shrimp in the mix of other fajita ingredients had tails on them. The steak was disgusting. They put bacon crumbles across the top of all of it, gross. I love bacon but it has no place on fajitas. They don't have sour cream, like at all. They use "Mexican cream" it tastes like mayonnaise. Service was slow.
I ate in this place, a year ago and now in 2020 everything changed, prices increased, portions reduced and my dish did not taste good, shrimp, mussels and octopus, they only tasted like smoke I will never return ...
Sad excuse for a Mexican restaurant. Upon recommendation, tried the buffet early in the afternoon. The food appeared & tasted as though it had been sitting for hours...tough wraps, watered down cheese sauce & guacamole. Yes, I said guacamole! Both were the consistency of milk. *ugh*. The only thing I can give them credit for is this: everything was consistently terrible. Don't waste your time and money. Taco Bell has better food than this.
Food was ok but the service was terrible. Literally the worst service I've ever had. Our waiter messed up our orders forgot to put our appetizer in and never came back. The other staff had to fix the orders and said he went to "take a break". I finally had to get someone to give us our bill so we could leave and then that guy didn't come right back. We ended up paying cash so we could just leave!

Menu and food has changed since we went there less than six months ago. Food was better and you recieved a larger portion before. Horchota tasted like milk with sugar, not what I expect when I order it.

Well, that did not go well...
Two young girls were at the station when I arrived. Place was at least half empty. I said 1, they offered me a seat at the bar. I said I did not want to sit at the bar, I wanted a table. They stood and looked at each other, at me, at the chart, at each other, said it would be a minute, then took me to a booth. I reminded them I wanted a table. As we were walking past the empty tables they said they did not have any available, so I said I would eat somewhere else and left.

First, when ordering dishes like Fajitas, every Mexican restaurant I have gone to includes Mexican rice, beans, salad, and sour cream. This restaurant does not and chooses instead to nickel and dime the guest into buying every single item. Now, this is obvious when you order but with the high reviews of this place, I figured I would chance it - in my opinion the food quality and taste does not warrant these types of charges. Second, when someone takes out food, the restaurant should be considerate and include, if nothing else, disposable cutlery if not also a few disposable plates. In this case, I got neither which made eating challenging. I was alone so using my hands turned out OK but if I there had been others this would have been an issue. Third, food quality - concisely put - nothing to write home about for the price that is being charged. In the fajitas, the steak was overcooked and dry, I received only 2 flour tortillas which weren't hot but cold making me think they were sitting for some time before given to me and even the chips tasted a bit burnt. In summary,I am having a hard time understanding how this restaurant is rated so high for the prices that they charge and I think there are better options out there for Mexican food at this price point.
Great food! Super authentic. I came to Orlando for a mini vacation and we ere staying nearby when we stumbled on this place and literally came back again the next day. We shared the platter that had the chimichanga, flautas, etc. the drinks were also awesome. My advice: GO!
Loved the trio appetizer! Delicious guacamole, queso, & black bean dip. The special homemade hot sauce is no joke. All Hector said when he placed it on the table was, Be careful with that.
Tasty nachos for the kids, amazingly savory carnitas taco. My husband loved his 3 tacos also: chicken, asada, & carnitas.

Really wish they didn t automatically put plastic straws in every beverage. Otherwise the food is amazing! My husband had the fajitas and I had the suizas enchiladas... both were very delicious. Service was great too. Would come back again, but remember to say no straw, please when ordering our drinks.
Food was just ok, service was not very good. Had to ask 2 - 3 times for corn tortillas that finally came towards the end of the meal, had to ask for chips and salsa 2 times before being delivered. They were not very busy and it was after the lunch crowd.

Its a pretty good Mexican food spot, love the fact they have vegetarian options. Drinks are great especially the margaritas. Service has been great the few times visited the resturant. One thing to try is definatly the buffet they offer worth every penny.

Cheap and delicious margaritas, and delicious tacos!!!! They have a great mix and match meat option, and a side of your choice. Such a good deal and the table salsa is the best I ve ever had!!!!!

They have tacos al pastor cooked the way they do in Mexico! The buffet is a must. All cooked by Mexican chefs, fresh and with so many delicious dishes to choose from. Excellent service too, Hector was a phenomenal host. Definitely my favorite place to go from now on!

The food is great and inexpensive. I love the ribs!! They re tender with a delicious sauce. The other food options are great as well including the delicious deserts. Nice atmosphere and staff. Try the RumHaven Mojitos. I m definitely returning!

We Are in the area for vacation, saw the great reviews and decided to try. And what a fabulous place! The staff were extremely gracious and attentive, the food tasted incredible and the portions were out of this very generous!! And I can t even describe the atmosphere...just GO!!! Experience it yourself and enjoy.
What an awesome restaurant! I can't say enough about how awesome the staff is here. Guillermo at the bar was hands down the best in Orlando. The food was perfect! I had the Burrito Grande with shredded beef pictured with a couple/few glasses of Malbec. And I can say without a doubt, I will be back! Heads up, they do get Very busy so there may be a wait. We are from Mexico and we were homesick for good Mexican food. We are so glad we found this place. We tried the Buffet and it was so delicious. Everything we tried was just so good. We highly recommend this place.
Our party of four had an excellent meal here. We thought the price was very reasonable and the food had a nice unique flavor to it. All four of us each got the taco platter. It was more than we could eat. The drinks were excellent as well. The Amabre tacos were especially good.
Decor is very nice but the quality of the food on the buffet is not great.

Love it .. We went on a Friday night , got right in no wait .. We got our food with in 10 minutes of sitting down..fast really fast even though they were busy.. Food was great and portions were large enough that you won't leave hungry..they have 5 dollar margaritas , they're pretty strong.. Great place I will be back

Probably some of the best Mexican food I've had. The Carne Asada tacos are top notch. I did have to subtract a star because they sat a group in the booth next to us during Covid with no social distancing when the restaurant was not busy with many open booths and tables. We were there around 3 in the afternoon. That was a dumb move!

We loved our server, Guillermo, he was very personable and the service was fantastic. The food was so wonderful during lunch, we went back for dinner and brought the rest of the family. They loved the food as well. We had the carne asada, enchiladas, al pastor tacos, and margaritas! All was wonderful.
Tamales we're delicious. Staff was super friendly. And the buffet (only $9.99) for lunch was plentiful.

Everything was sooo good. The salsa was amazing and different. I got POLLO AL CHIPOTLE with side of queso cheese to top off with. So amazing. The tropical margarita was the best! Would go back every day.

Where do I start?! No one was there to greet as we arrived. When the waitress finally came, she sat us down and left. We sat there for a good 5-7 without a menu. I had to get up and ask for the menus. Then a waiter came who was not at all welcoming or friendly but whatever. He asked for our drinks and I swear he left half way through the order. I didn't even finish ordering. Then it took 15 minutes for them to come back and ask for our food. I made eye contact with the waiter and he just stared at me while he sat down counting money. Looked like he was counting the restaurants earnings or something. Not sure. Finally the hostess came to take the order of food. I'm not even sure who are server was. I had to ask for all our drinks to be filled. When I finally asked for the bill, it took a while so I asked again and then another member of my party had to ask also.
I try to give the benefit of the doubt but this service was terrible. They are very lucky my party was more than six so the tip was included in my final bill because I wouldn't have given them a single penny. Service was so bad, I literally created a google account so that I could leave this comment.

This used to be one of my lunch favorites because of the buffet but the quality has really gone downhill the past few months. Not sure if they have a new cook or are just using cheaper ingredients but really disappointed
The food is good. Sad we missed the lunch buffet. Drinks were a little sweet for me but it was also only 5 bucks. The service was a little slow. We we're waiting to put our order in and the waitress was no where to be found. At the end the food was good. I would go back again.
It is a very nice place, it has a traditional and cozy atmosphere. The food is excellent. I almost always ask for wire plugs, they are my favorites.
The Mexican buffet is spectacular ... Highly recommended ...
