Excellent food, great service from Louisa, and a top shelf Margarita. All Louisa's recommendations were amazing! As a previous owner of a fine dining Mexican restaurant it's rare I leave a high review, but in this case it's warranted! If you are in Orlando and want to treat yourself to how a Mexican culinary experience should be then definitely treat yourself to this gem! Don't forget to add chorizo!

This was the worst Mexican food I've had. The tortillas were so dry and the chicken too. Cooking is necessary but over killing is not. There was also no flavor on the chicken.
Despite no line when we walked in at 2pm on a Sunday, we waited to be greeted for an extended time. We then had to get up to ask for a server to stop by. Then had to get up to ask for silverware. We were not pleased with this experience. To their credit, the food was great but we went to a restaurant to be served, not to work for the food.
Visiting from Washington DC my entire family loved the food, service and atmosphere. We will definitely return every year on our Florida trip!! Shout out to our beautiful waitress Catalina!! She made the experience Ahhmazing
Had dinner here last night with my hubbie and we had a wonderful experience!! From the delicious food and margaritas to the attentive staff- we could not have asked for a better dInner date! Michael was our server and he was awesome! Definitely recommend
This place has the best Mexican food I ve ever eaten. Great service and reasonable prices as well. Definitely give them a try. Very happy we left the Disney property and found this place.
I didn't expect to find a place like this in Florida. And everything was delicious arguably way better than what you would find in Texas and a bit more authentic. I'm upset that it will be a while for me to come back and enjoy this place again.
Food is always excellent every time we go! Fajitas can't be beat. We go to this location 3 times/year whenever we are in town. And have gotten to know Carolina...our one & only server. We request her every time. Food comes quick. Service is amazing. We love this place! 5 stars!
Very yummy, very authentic. Some plates' portions are big enough to share. Desserts looks beautiful. They also do a birthday dessert complete with singing and clapping! Very fun.
This place is awful in terms of service and the food. The server we had, David could not remember what we ordered and had to be reminded every time on what the orders were. In addition my dad had ordered a vegetarian meal and they gave him one with meat and when being questioned directly to David he was cheeky to ask whether he still liked it. It is best to avoid this place.
We went there the 1st night we got in town, great service and food. The next night we had HECTOR, the waiter who performs a disappearing act for your entertainment. Then when HECTOR returns from his hiatus and you are finished eating he says "GOOD LUCK" and slaps your bill on the table.
I went there on 10/1/10, fri, for dinner with friends. Service is terrible & so is the food. After we were seated, the waiter said he would be back in 1 min. He was talking in the back with the other waiters & came back in 10 min. We ordered waters & 1 margarita...that took 15 min. When we finally got our chips (almost 30 min later), they were cold. The entrees were so-so & felt like they were sitting on the counter for some time. We ordered the fried ice cream, which is a scoop of ice cream covered with stale corn flakes! My friends paid with cash & waited outside. I was the last 1 at the table b/c I paid with a credit card...the waiter came to me & asked why my friends paid only a 10% tip, when the receipt recommended an 18% tip (we had a part of 4). I gave him an extra tip which is not deserved, but I was tired. I haven't told my friends about this. There weren't many ppl there, which is strange for a fri night in Orlando...now I know the reason why. Avoid this place at all costs! I went to this place based on google reviews...maybe we went on a bad day?
When I arrived at the place it seemed to me a simple Mexican restaurant, but when I entered the place the attention of his staff made me feel like he was a king arriving at his palace, the customer service is excellent and the food tastes delicious; I also had the happiness of meeting Glenda who is the managers and she looked like one of the rest of the employees, they all work as a team making you feel like the king of the place ... Daniel was our server and gave us excellent options making us decide to choose enjoy the buffet which was surprising with all the variety of food from tacos to lunch with rice and meat; They also have a cook preparing real Mexican tacos (in case you like spicy) we drank margaritas and they were truly delicious ... in a nutshell I recommend you visit this place because the experience and the food will make you repeat ...
Went in today with fam from out of town around 8 was deserted our waitress was rude rushed us through the whole thing. Food was not appetizing at all no flavor and just salty spent $200 dollars on garbage & gratuity that wasn t deserved . Won t be going back very disappointed .
The restaurant was clean. Loved the food. They have a great vegetarian options. Everything that we ordered tasted great. Nachos and fajitas were delicious. Portions are huge. I felt like they should have given more tortias, it is not enough for all the food they bring (but it is more than enough to be full). Service was a little bit slow. I would go there again and again...
Great food, drinks and service. My family and I vacationed here recently. Some of us from Atlanta. The rest from St. Louis. We drove out of the way to come here (we were staying in Kissimmee). Luisa was great!!
We come to Orlando from Wisconsin at least 3 times a year. El Patron is always a must do while we are here. If you can, catch the buffet for lunch - it s amazing! Staff is very friendly and prices are affordable. You won t be disappointed...
As a tourist my family and I were craving Mexican food, unfortunately we were highly disappointed. The chips were stale, the waitress came to our table one time during our meal, no refills. Our meal came in 3 different plates instead of just one, beans taste like they came out of a can, rice was dry with no flavor. No tortillas were offered. When paying, my husband and I decided we were not going to leave a tip for the terrible service we got, as soon as the waitress saw her attitude changed. I would not recommend.
Nicely decorated Mexican restaurant with classic menu offerings of tacos, enchiladas, fajitas etc. Queso and fajitas were great! Would definitely recommend for really good Mexican food in a nice atmosphere.
This is a hidden gem, so close to the theme parks... the food is reasonably priced and VERY good, and the margarita flights are super affordable and also excellent. Our waiter was a very sweet gentleman too. I really had a great time. This may be the best Mexican place in this side of town, and that's coming from a Texan!
Food was good but very disappointed with the Cadillac margarita. Bought a pitcher for two people $39 and didn't even get a buzz. I usually feel something after one glass and had mine refilled 3 times, nothing. Rip off. Was here three years ago and came back twice during our stay. Looked forward to it tonight but will not come back. Also changed chips to flat wafers which were not salty nor good.
You got a lot of great options here. I would say it's better than your typical Tex-Mex fare. There's a lunch buffet with about a million options. And the price is right, you can really pack in a lot of food for a fair price.
Great service. Our waitress came to check on us multiple multiple times. A waitress cleaning the table beside us even asked if we needed assistance. It is pricey though. Very pricey. Not like the typical Mexican restaurants I see in north Georgia (where I live). The cheese quesadilla cheese is weird. Ask if you can have plain cheese dip cheese.
Some of the best Mexican I ever had. The buffet was amazing. Everything was fresh. The live taco station, one of most delicious tacos Ive ever had. I would come back to Orlando just to eat here.
Very good food just need a little more attention from the waitresses is one every time asking for things and this is missing and this should be more aware of your customer or will be worth as they automatically charge their 18% tip I think They should attend better and even give them more tips
A real gem. The offerings are ample and flavorful, with careful thought to presentation! Though situated in the heart of the tourist corridor, it is now one of newest local favorites.
