I went to Amsale to shop for my wedding dress and had an amazing experience. Dia was awesome--I was able to try on 11 different dresses in an hour because of how efficient she was at helping me in and out of the dresses. She was also great at proposing other dresses if there was a certain element I liked and she knew it was a feature of other dresses. At the end, when I picked one out, she brought out champagne for my sister, mom and I from the Usual brand, which was a festive touch! She also explained that they can do a fitting and alterations all in the span of 2 days, a month or so before the wedding, which is especially great because I'll be getting married in California.

Really the nicest sales ladies in the city. They provided the best experience out of all the bridal salons I visited.

I absolutely adore this store! I was planning a pandemic wedding and was feeling so down on just about everything wedding related. Terry and his team were so positive and let me explore the store without the pressure of needing to buy something. They implemented the necessary COVID precautions which I really appreciated and were more than accommodating when it came to trying things on and giving me time to think. As a nervous and borderline defeated bride I was so thankful to just walk the store and get re-inspired by all the beautiful dresses. Everyone was so nice and respectful it was such a breath of fresh air. Their little white dresses are absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to wear mine on my honeymoon. Truth be told I'd be wearing it right now it it wasn't so cold! I absolutely would recommend this store to any bride or anyone in need of a dress for a special occasion.

The salon is wonderful! Work with Dia if you can - she is lovely and welcoming, makes the process a joy.

Fantastic bridal party experience in their new location in Midtown. Beautiful selection and they also had the newest bridal party dresses from bridal fashion week (a month ago, mind you!).

Amsale has such dreamy bridesmaid dresses. I have 9 bridesmaids and each maid was able to pick a different dress that they loved for their frame. Since in live in CT, I had to go to Amsale 3 separate trips to accommodate all of my bridesmaids. Each time I had Neivha assisting my bridesmaids and I in the store. Neivha was such a pleasure to work with. She was so kind and really helped assisting my maids with different styles that fit their frames perfectly. I can t thank Neivha enough! If you go to Amsale definitely see if you can work with Neivha. I can t say enough good things about her and the store.

Very nice bridal salon picked a beautiful dress for a smaller wedding. We were helped by Mariam she was the best very attentive!

Amsale was extremely accommodating to help me find a dress very last minute. Once we found the dress they were quick to move through the fittings, not to mention they made quite a few alterations. They literally saved my wedding day.

I had such a wonderful experience at Amsale, from my first "just shopping around" appointment to all subsequent confirmations, fittings, etc. I ended up going to most of the larger places in NYC to look at dresses, and this salon is by far the nicest. It is beautifully laid out, they always offer you water or champagne which is a nice touch. Ellie was my stylist and she was attentive and sweet and while I went in with an entirely different picture in my head of what I wanted, she ended up suggesting I try on this one dress...and man that was it. I was so happy with my dress, and with the fittings and the overall process. You get the sense that people there are genuinely excited for you. They don't have a huge selection, they stock their own designer and maybe a few more, so it's not a Kleinfeld's type place, but all it takes is one.

Such a dreamy experience trying on bridesmaids dresses here. Ali Scibetta listened well and was attentive and efficient. Amazing quality and service probably the best I ve had in New York.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with the Customer Service (Styling) team at Amsale when I had some questions about a dress I had ordered pre-COVID. I was quite nervous about the time that had passed and what I would need to do in order to get my order. I received such a prompt response and really easy to follow steps on what I needed to do. The team offered free shipping of the dress or help arranging a time to pick up my dress. I cannot say enough nice and wonderful things - thank you thank you!

My experience at Amsale was truly a dream. Dia was such a joy to work with finding my wedding dress. Rula's expertise in alterations ensured that my dress was tailored perfectly on my wedding day. The entire Amsale team, from start to finish, was incredibly kind, and I looked forward to returning to the salon at every stage of the process.

Terry and Mariam were so thoughtful and helpful during my bridal appointment. We got lots of attention and honest feedback, they stayed well within my budget, made the experience feel fun and normal despite COVID precautions (which the salon takes super seriously) and I couldn t have imagined getting my dress anywhere else. Amsale pieces are understated, elegant, and classic. Definitely recommend!

Wow! What a place to come if you want to ruin your bridesmaid experience, time, money and patience. Abysmal service AND product. I went to have a bridesmaid dress fitted - it came back, after three months, 2 sizes too big - two of me could have fitted in there - it was WILD to suggest this would ever fit me and they clearly had a mistake. That s okay we all make mistakes - however, they refused to take any responsibility whatsoever and rather suggested that it was my fault (despite a amsale professional FITTING ME?!?) and that I pay to have altered which cost $230. The absolute worse, AVOID
