The lunch buffet is great. There is something for everyone and something new to try.

Wow! What an incredible experience we had last night! Uri our waiter attended us very well, the food was Amazing! We will be back and bring many with us! Quality foods! Very Impressed!

My wife and I dined at El Patron on Valentines Day 2013. The restaurant told me when making reservations that it would be a prix fixe menu. Apparently they didn't publicize that to their regular clientele, because many families were showing up and then leaving. We had the restaurant practically to ourselves. It was a shame because the food was excellent and there was just way too much of it! We each started with a plate of cheeses, salami-like meat, and freshly cooked almonds was delicious--one plate would have been fine for two persons. A spinach salad with rainbow beets was good and about twice as big as necessary. I had a beef rib in a beer-reduction sauce that was sensational. There was a polenta side. My wife had duck and said it was also wonderful. For dessert I had a goats cheese cheesecake with strawberries and a chocolate glaze. It was six inches in diameter and yes, it was round. My wife had tres leches. We boxed the desserts and enjoyed them the next day. I would recommend this special menu to anyone, should the restaurant offer it again.

The service was excellent and the food was very delicious. We had the guacamole, vegetarian tacos with Mexican rice, black beans and Mexican street corn. Amazing! We would eat here again and highly recommend it to others. Good atmosphere that is suitable for couples or a family with children.

The waitresses are super nice. An the food is fresh an home made tasting. Drinks are strong too. I will come back next time i come down here.

The Chile relleno was good but was not deep fried. The beans and rice were not hot and needed a bit more flavor. Still the food was good, just needs a little improvement. I would prefer regular tortilla chips with the salsa instead of the round taco shell tostadas they serve. Good service and good atmosphere.I would recommend this place to my family and friends.

I was super excited to eat here, it had great Yelp reviews. The tacos had tons of meat inside, unfortunately that was the only good part. The tacos we're cold, and the service was poor.

Best Mexican food I've ever had. The chicken quesadillas were unmatched by any place I've dined before. The toppings are amazing but the chicken is seasoned so well, it was good with and without add-ons. The service was also incredible. The waiter knew his stuff!

Great place nice atmosphere, the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the meat was chewy and had burn Mark's on the outside , Chicken had no issues and overall a great establishment

The food was great. We ate from the buffet. My arm was in a sling and our waitress offered to help me. I appreciated the gesture and the service was fantastic.

Literally the best mexican food ever. Everytime I am in Orlando we have to go and I always take friends. Fresh and delish. So consistent.

This isn't your typical Mexican restaurant. The food is much better and more inventive, with slightly higher prices to match. It's in the middle of a remodel (Oct 2018), so the atmosphere is quite lacking. Our waitress was a bit inattentive, seemingly lingering and casually chatting at the next table for 5+ minutes at a time while I was unable to subtly get her attention - we waited over 20 minutes for our drink order and 10 more for our menu order. 3.5 stars, rounded up I guess.

Went for the lunch buffet and was pleasantly surprised. The steak strips were the star of the show, but they had plenty to choose from for all tastes. I will absolutely be back soon.

Food was cold. Guacamole was bland and the Chimichangas were not crispy. To the waitress who recieved a very bad tip. (I used to be a waiter and typically tip VERY well) You didn't take our drink order until after our apetizer was finished and then our entrees came 30 seconds after the drinks. I couldn't tell you the food was cold because you didn't stop by to check on us. My margarita was excellent, which earned one star.

The food and drinks were excellent. Everything we ordered from the kid meals to appetizers and main courses. We skipped dessert, but they had a lot of great options! The place was clean and family friendly and the service was good.

Great atmosphere and food. While on vacation from Cleveland, OH we went in based on many good reviews and were not disappointed. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and found out there was a lunch buffet option. The selection of food was amazing and the quality was equally as good. Our waitress doubled as our bartender and we could not ask for better service. Even more, when I said how much I was looking forward to dessert and the flan our waitress surprised me with a plate of the last portion of flan they had. Outstanding all the way around and a great value, as well. This will definitely be a regular stop for us as we come to Orlando once a year.

Dear restaurant owner/manager: Please Re-Train your staff on Food safety and restaurant 101 food safety and service!
I sat at the bar and there was no one else there except for one couple with a small child in a high chair.
I ordered a margarita and asked for chips and salsa.
The glass was served 2/3 considering I am sitting at the bar there was no spilling of the drink so the person who served the drink right in front of me was just lazy!
The chips and salsa cane and they looked good but tasted just OK.
Then I had to wait and wait and wait before Guillermo finally was ready to take my order.
The food came quickly and the main entree was served in a large dish and the included sides were served like in a skillet! Not sure why but the redites beans were very dry and the rice barely had half cup portion.
I was not checked on at all since my food arrived and had to wait until the bartender decided to come back to the bar to ask for another knife as the one I was given had dried food on it.
I was handed another knife and the one I previously was given just sat there and the bartender did not care.
Here is a hint to all servers and bartenders who don t know: if a guest asks for another silverware set please have the violin sense to remove the one the guest already had as that is your first clue that it is dirty.
I decided to order another margarita which now I thought let me try the better one El Patron . Ladies and gentleman this is a $15.00 margarita so you can see on the picture that the glass looks good but unfortunately it was a pre- made margarita not made fresh. For the price??? Yess that is a fail!!
The steak chimichanga was not the best as the steak was chewy and tortilla was barely cooked!
Not once I was asked how was my meal!!!
Severs and bartenders: if you expect a fat tip please take the time to at least do the basic service steps!!!
I asked for more chips and salsa and my server bartender said ok but did not seem in any hurry to get that to me as he took his time to unload the bar dishwasher and load it again, buss couple of tables and waited until it was time for him to get another table s food to get my chips and salsa. At that time I was pretty much done but decided to be polite and say thank you when it came.
The worst of all of it is yet to come: the second shift bartender came in and my bartender / server took the time to fill her in on few things and started stocking while she was preparing the bar for the next shift. So as Guillermo was stocking beer and pouring all kind of alcohol bottles (see pictures) for the pre-made drinks the female was cleaning and sipping off off counters and preparing drinks that were coming via the register at the bar. At one point she made 2 drinks and took them to the dining room in a tray while Guillermo was just too buy taking care of his shift end stocking and never once cleared my dirty dishes.
The female bartender came back with one of the drinks and just poured right back in the bin of the frozen margaritas!!!!
Ladies and gentlemen of the service industry: Anything that goes out to the dining room regardless of wether the guest touches it or not, you never take it back and mix it with the batch to serve next to other guests!!
This was the worst of the worst dining experiences I ever had and EL PATRON restaurant at Lake Buena Vista I have one advice for you: TRAIN your staff and teach restaurant 101 basic service!
My bill was $40.00 and in all honesty it was not worth a dime!
The ironie of this entire experience is that when I told Guillermo while he was printing my check. He just said thank you for telling me when I actually expected that he would jump on the bin and pour it in the drain instead of being so nonchalant about it.
Cameras I hope took the footage of it as I told Guillermo but he did not seem to be concerned.
Menus was disgusting and dirty and even the print of menu items was fading so you could not even guess the menu items! What in the world are you open to your paying customers for!!!!
If I could give zero star I would!!!

this was one of the best Mexican food places I have ever eaten that service was great sat at the bar tonight's during the week we are at Disney world good pricing cold beer and good food.

Food was very good with decent portions. Chips and salsa were excellent and their aqua fresca was delicious. Service was prompt, pleasant and helpful. Prices very reasonable. Atmosphere was nice and they have plenty of big tables for groups. I would eat here again.

Having grown up in the Tex-Mex business I can be a harsh credic when it comes to Mexican food.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The Margaritas were excellent. I really enjoyed my burrito.

The service was excellent and the staff went out of there way to ensure that we we're completely satisfied.

We plan on returning before we head back up north

Great food meets amazing lunch buffet pricing, nice and patient service, great margarita specials. Beef chicken and sometimes pork. Black beans enchiladas, flautas. Queso and a verse salsa at the salad bar all the cilantro you can put on anything they have. Tamales and tacos to your heart desire 10+% on weekdays for lunch and 14+% on weekends!

Mom always told me if you dont have anything nice to say, say nothing. NOTHING. Mgmt tried to make up for a lot of defects with discounted chexk but....they need some serious improvement on wait staff and organization. BUT, the food was delicious when we finally got it.

Always great quality authentic Mexican Food. An exquisite hidden gem in Florida. We ate at the Brunch Buffett for Father's day 2020. Waiters and Staff were excellent at addressing the current Covid pandemic. Clients expected to wear masks and not touch the Buffett items, GENIOUS! Our family felt safe at all times while enjoying their delicious menu! Thank You "El Patron"

The restaurant was very nice. The portions of food for the price was a little ridiculous. Chips and salsa where probably the worst I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant. Service was mediocre.

It is a very good law firm !! Only you have to arrive early at 11am to enjoy everything that is rich

This place is a nice clean restaurant with great food in nice portions at a decent price. They go beyond the usual Mexican restaurant menu as well and those items are worth trying.

I m not a fan of Mexican food, but my friend took me out there for a belated birthday dinner and the food is excellent, the service was great and the whole atmosphere was wonderful.

Food is ok, not the greatest I've ever had but decent. The service however is very slow, took for ever to cash out and their were 5 tables in the restaurant...

Skip this place!! Not a great experience. We ordered take out and they wanted us to give our credit card over the phone. We don t do that and we were going to pay cash so they put a manager on. We were then told 15 minutes ..we arrive about 15 minutes later and no food...30 minutes no food... 45 minutes no food. We waited an hour for take out food. We are pretty sure they didn t put our order in until we arrived at counter and then took their time. Food was definitely Not worth the wait!!! It was low on flavor and definitely not authentic Mexican food. We are local...and there are plenty of other places to get great Mexican food! Never again!!!!

This is probably one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever visited.

Authentic Mexican food.
We decided to try them out in search for delicious and authentic Mexican food.
The Chicken Fajita was cooked exceptionally well and to perfection.
The kids meal with quesadilla was also prepared to perfection.
The house margarita was great.

There was plenty of seating for all sizes of parties.
Service was friendly and everyone here is helpful.

Highly recommend trying them out.
We will be back to try their other delicious menu items.

Phenomenal. If I didn t live 1000 miles away I d be here at least every week. Tacos and plantains were perfect. Margarita was amazing. Kids loved their dishes as well. LOVED the huge chips and queso.

Buffet quality is highest possible. Visited two different days. For $22.98, bottomless weekend memosa + AYCE buffet deal is best from-scratch meal in town. Every single dish is fresh and cared for.

The Orlando Rita for $5 all day every day, 100% agave Taquila, with Chambord... Is representative of high value. Free WiFi, ask for password, worked great for mulit-hour hangout.

Food with a lot of flavor and seasoning and really nice stay

So me and my friend made the mistake to go to this restaurant when they have the buffet special. Sat down and waited 20 minutes for a server that actually never came i called the first server i saw for 2 jarritos. Went to buffet line and everything was dry old and soggy the topping bar was a mess the guy doing the shrimp plate he looked so sad to be there and unhappy to take care of us it hurt walked back to the table and still no drink so we left the plates in the table and left told the hostess we're going to steaks amd shake for better service bye.

The food was fantastic, we had a party of 6, everyone got something different and all of it was delicious and brought out quickly. 4 stars because service wasn t good. We sat with empty drinks and chips until the server was flagged down.
