It was okay. Service was not that great. Food was good. I thought the salsa and queso lacked flavor but my carne asada was cooked the way I requested.

This was a recommendation by the resort we were staying at and it was great. Awesome drink specials with great drinks. Huge variety of flavors. The food was all delicious and they had a much larger selection than we expected. The presentation was beautiful. Great flavors on everything, from the salsa to the street corn. Highly recommend.

Well I'm eating only when I come in it didn't smell like food it smells like funky it had a very bad smell. It was around midday like at 12 I only a couple people. The place looks nice they have Margarita flights a bar but the smell killed it I mean didn't like the smell at all. smell like like the mop with older bad water

This place was amazing! We had the lunch buffet and it was one of the best Mexican meals I have ever had. We just happened to stumble upon it while googling places near us at the time. Our server Hector (I'm pretty sure that was his name) was on point and was fantastic!

Ate here tonight on my first night in Orlando for a business trip. Some of the best Mexican food I have ever had! It was amazing!

The delicious food. Fresh, the attention was excellent.

We ordered the Fajitas. They came out without any sizzle whatsoever. The refried beans and rice we're barely warm. Sent both back. They obviously don't back have an expeditor in the kitchen. Margaritas are good but expensive. Food did taste good after it was warmed up.

This is the best ever Mexican Restaurant. I'm mexican and I can tell, this is the real deal when we talk about Mexican Food.

Decided to try this place because of a Groupon they offered. Now i see why they needed Groupon. The waiter was not friendly it personable at all, actually acted like we were an inconvenience. Other people in my party enjoyed their food. My wife was served a carnitas taco with completely raw pork. We informed the waiter and he didn't apologize or offer any accommodation for the issue. My food was bland and dry, it was a pork belly torta. It was really under seasoned and not dressed enough. The bread was a terrible choice for a torta. Even the fries they offer with it were overly bland. I assume the waiter was so apathetic because he knew the Groupon would automatically result in an unearned and undeserved 18% tip. Here's a tip for you don't stop here.

Wonderful time are food! Family owned and operated. The tamales are to die for and don't get me stares on the mushroom empanadas!!!

Hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants in Orlando. The margaritas are on point!

Was looking for authentic Mexican food this place was not service was good. Building looked good but food no no no. Plus on top of that the music what they were playing was not even Mexican it was reggaeton, that was not what I was expecting to hear in a Mexican place.

The pozole is fabulous, a meal in itself. Their tacos are also loaded with meat. I also recommend the guacamole. They have a daily buffet but I always order from the menu because my favorites are not on the buffet.

My daughter and I walked in at 9:56 right behind another couple that got sat, but it took another minute and they said, I'm sorry our kitchen is closed! Will never go back!

Quick and huge portions great mixed drinks. Carolina was an exquisite experience for our dinner. She was very sweet

Great tasting mexican food. Had 3 tacos, al pastor, jaiba (soft shell crab) and carnitas. We also order large burrito. Great service by Hector. Will come again.

Wow, we loved this restaurant. We had guacamole, tacos, beans and street corn. All of it was so flavorful and delicious. We highly recommend the carnitas tacos. You will not be disappointed.

Great food at great prices! My only complaint is are waitress was really bad. If it wasn't for ghee co-workers picking up her slack we would have never ate or got our check.

Food was awesome, loved the fish tacos and tamales. The downside was that the service was a little slow and we had to ask for our one and only drink refill.

Not impressed at all...Hamburger wasn't done...it was red...French fries dipped in oil... 2nd batch wasn't any better... soup was very salty...

This restaurant is fantastic. It is a diamond in the ruff, as a vast majority of restaurants around Disney, Universal, etc are corporate chains with little or no heart. If you are looking for a special, home cooked meal, made by people that care, El Patron is the place to go. It's not just another Mexican Restaurant as the food here is authentic and full of flavor. Great margaritas, homemade guac, etc. all DELISH. Lastly Carolina, our server was fantastic. You can tell she loved her job and the food reflects what is clearly a positive work environment. We'll be back for sure when we return to Orland next year. Thank you El Patron!

I've been here a few times and will definitely come back. The food is always fresh and each dish has a distinct flavor. That's not always the case with some places. I gave a 3 of 5 because I'm still trying different items. I don't mean for a 3 to look bad and will certainly consider changing my score as I come back and try new things. I really enjoyed the carnitas, tamales, fajitas, fresh tortillas, salsa, and refried beans. The lunch buffet is definitely a value. I wasn't sold on the mole dish I had. There was a an item on the buffet that reminded me of an empenada but seemed different. I was not a fan of that either. The one thing I was very unsure of was the sour cream. Twice the people at my table were convinced it was mayonnaise. The dessert table is a great ending to lunch. A very large variety of desserts to try from cookies to tres leches. Definitely want to try dinner here one night as I've only been for lunch.

Mas was great. She greeted customers, prepared drinks, waited tables and rearranged tables for a large party. Food was as expected - good standard dishes. I liked the way the chips were large round tortillas and not a bunch of chips in a bowl.

I can't say enough good things about this place. Fair $ for the quality of the food. The tacos al pastor are just awesome. Very clean, and a really cool lunch staff.

I stopped for an excellent lunch here on my way to Tampa. The staff was very kind and even helped me with my Spanish. On weekends they have a lunch buffet which I couldn't resist. Everything was delicious!

Service was a bit slow due to being short staffed. Once they got to us, the folks were real nice and helpful. The best part of course is the food, it's was AWESOME!! Oh yeah, and the prices were very reasonable. Next time we visit the area we will definitely want to eat there again.

My family and I were delighted when we found this gem! They have a wonderful lunch buffet during the week, and it s very close to Disneyworld. If you re in town and want to take the whole family to a tasty Mexican place, El Patron is for you! Plus, they have some pretty great drink specials for those adults who want to reward themselves!

So my husband and I stopped in tonight and we have been here a few times before. But the service we got from Christian today was probably the best service I have ever had ANYWHERE. We know the food is good and the Margarita's are always on point... But the service was 5 star tonight even with a very large party. Bravo Christian for making us feel like we were special. We never went without.

Don t bother if your looking to order to go. They won t even take your order unless you give a credit card over the phone. Could barley understand the person on the phone. Ended up ordering from another Mexican restaurant nearby and was very happy.

A horrible to go experience. We ordered 3 quesadillas, beans, rice, and queso. We got there 30 mins after ordering (they said it d take 20) and then still somehow waited another 20 for our food to come, so they definitely forgot about us. They forgot $18 worth of our order the food didn t seem fresh at all. our queso was so hard you couldn t get a chip in it. And the food wasn t even good. 0 stars if I could

We stayed at the Blue Tree resort nearby and ate at El Patron 3 times during our stay. The food is great and the service is excellent!

Food was cold. They brought back another plate of fresh food but the price was way too expensive! Did not have a great experience!

Today was our first visit to el patron restaurant and it was FANTASTIC! The food was great and the service made it that much better. Carolina was such a great waitress, very attentive and knowledgeable. I would say she is the best waitress we ve had by far. I DEFINITELY recommend this place!!!!!!!

Chose this place for being near our hotel but will be back no matter where we stay in Orlando next time! Warm and fast service, great-tasting food, giant cocktails even got a tamarind spoon with my spicy margarita. Truly enjoyed everything we had, and the prices were totally fair too.
