Visited Orlando and decided on Mexican food for dinner. Had a fantastic waitress Lupita. Tortilla soup was on point. Guacamole was on point. Carnitas tacos were on point. Their steak was excellent. And the margaritas were so good we came back the following night for drinks. They have a great collection of high end tequilas and a few bottles of Mezcal.
Definitely enjoyed both visits to El Patron, and will definitely go back next time I'm in town.

Food was nasty ... didn t enjoy ... shrimp was season horrible ... bad service .. waste of 40 dollars

Wonderful service and food! Can be difficult to find in Orlando. We are here twice during our 5 day stay. The margaritas and carne asada are incredible.

I definitely do not return, the salted beans.
The taste water is not natural, but when my wife asked for refill, the waitress told her that there was no refill, so if it is not natural why not give refill. At the end of the account we thought we would pay, I imagined that I think we did not bring money.
the waitress who attended us only went to see us a couple of times, but a table that was a few steps away from us was about 5 or 6 times as they were gueros, maybe she thought the tip would be bigger.
I am a very generous person and all the time I leave a good tip, because I know they depend on that. But in this case I'm sorry I did not deserve it. A waiter approached that seemed to be working on the side of the bar and he asked us to bring us more water and tortillas. If we give you a tip
Bad service, and the food is not authentic so think about it before going to eat at this place.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Surprisingly good food!

The first time I went to the restaurant they were prompt with getting our orders and food. The second time they were not. We had to ask our waiter 4 times for our food after the rest of the table got theirs. The food and drinks are good, but the service seems to be a hit or miss.

I read the reviews and thought it was a good choice. We love Mexican food. We were seated pretty promptly. However it goes downhill from there. Three tables seated after us was served before us. Thinking it might just be an off night we waited. Beers came out late...food came out cold. Service was way below par for the prices you pay. I got tired of waiting and just left money on the table for the ticket because the waitress never came back. If you re looking for good food and service stay away from this one. Two stars only because I hate to give anyone one star.

Fajitas were awesome. Everything we ordered was fantastic.

Always quiet and quick for a reasonably priced lunch, plus free chips and salsa while you wait for your food! WDW cast discount as well.

Good food with a great lunch buffet. Killer margaritas as well. Weekend buffet is a little more, but the extra offerings are worth it.

BUFFET!!!! that had me cringing, not a fan at all.....but THIS is beyond different. Very satisfying tasty food. My entire family of 17 each with their unique taste for food was very satisfied !!!! Coming back for sure!!!!

Terrible. No-one acknowledged us at the counter to sit down. After 5 minutes we say ourselves. After another 5 minutes and being looked at by multiple employees we left. Sad restaurants around kissimee

Javier will go above and beyond to make sure you visit is magical (keeping up with the disney tradition). Amore (host) was very nice and food was wonderful.

Had the lunch buffet. Lots of great food and options. Drink service was a little slow, but that's really my only negative. Definitely coming back!

Very nice decor and atmosphere and very good service. The food was another story. Substandard and pre cooked. Our entrees for 10 people came out in about 10 mins. Everyone complained that food felt pre-cooked and warmed up. Too bad the kitchen doesn't live up to the rest of the place.

Salsa was Smokey, but good. Chips were perfect. Great beef tacos and chicken enchiladas. Queso was perfect

When we came in we noticed that NONE of the employees spoke Spanish!!! that is a little insane to me cause I came here specifically for a MOLE sauce and I couldn't even get the answer if they had it cause the hostess was not familiar with the cuisine.

Cheap drink deals during lunch time when we came, however if you do not specifically point out the deal from the table paper deals they will just serve you the regular drinks and u will pay full price, so make sure to point out what you mean when you order to get the best deal.

Lunch buffet for 10 bux starting at 1100 ish, we came in thinking about mole but ended up doing the buffet was a lot better deal.

Food was not impressive I must say.

They have mole here but make sure to research the menu cause the staff knows NOTHING!!! another mention on the staff lack of knowledge of the cuisine they work for.

Over all I was a bit disappointed as the staff was not knowledgeable at all with the culture and cosine they were working for as well as they had no knowledge of the deals the restaurant serve so you need to actually tel them about them, also they do not speak Spanish, I was not very pleasantly surprised.

The food and place as overshadowed by the bad service.

I will not come back here.

I went once before after buffet hours and I wasnt crazy about it. Went during the buffet and I loved it. There were alot of great options and I am going to be going back again.

Probably best Tex-Mex Restaurant I've been to in years.. Family owned & non-franchised.. Truily wish we had one an El Patron's here us.. Great atmosphere.. Great Service.. Great menu & variety.. Great tasting food..! What else could you ask from a Restaurant...???

This place has a good setting and is well set out inside, however the temperature inside is too cold. The staff inside are very attentive but do not seem to be able to smile.... I've noticed this with quite a few Mexicans, they have a serious determined scowl at all times. The food was not what I expected as it was a little bland and everything was cheese based... I thought you may get some tomato / chilli... But no it was all cheese. Having said that, the food was plentiful...when you arrive you get an endless amount of nachos with a dip, The starters are huge, and so was the main course which come with different sides. Also the food comes very quickly and there is no space between courses. All in all, not bad but lacks and spice or sparkle.

We were looking for a Mexican Restaurant close to home and found El Patron online. We were greeted promptly upon entering the restaurant and sat right away. Service was very prompt as well. The restaurant was very clean and had a nice decor, and TV's in the bar area if you wanted to catch a game. The food came out very quickly after ordering, and the ingredients seemed very fresh. I ended up having carnitas tacos and my wife had the Patron Fajitas. The food was very good, not the best Mexican we have had but definitely not bad either. We also enjoyed some Margaritas which were very good as well. All in all, the food was a little on the pricey side for Mexican, but keep in mind you are right in the tourist area by Disney, and it was very good and service was excellent. The food is a little more upscale from what I would expect at most Mexican restaurants as well with very high quality ingredients. It is definitely a place that we would revisit.

Incredible lunch buffet - We've eaten here before for dinner. We happened to stop by for lunch and were blown away by the lunch buffet. The food was incredible, the variety was huge, and the price was very reasonable but incredible for the Disney area. The service staff was very nice. We will definitely make a another visit for the buffet.

Came here on a whim, when I was in the area. I live about 20 miles away. I will be making to drive again on a Saturday, for the amazing buffet. The ropa vieja was some of the best I've ever had.

I guess carry out is not the way to go. In Florida on vacation and gave it a try. I ordered three shrimp tacos and the shrimp is so hard I couldn t eat them.

After a long day at disney we found this gem, authentic mexican food, delicious tacos, drinks and a very friendly and accommodating wait staff. pleasantly surprised in every way here. reasonable prices and large portions. they did this right!

Food was great both times... the first time we went the server was amazing with us but second time we went the service was very poor.

Upon dining at this restaurant, I frequently travel to the orlando area and my wife and i love Mexican food & A few margaritas at times. I read some reviews on this restaurant before I dine there as i always do when traveling And if anyone knows great Mexican food as my wife and I do ! The food was great here everything I tried fresh crisp, tasty, salsa, my wife had the grilled chicken burrito was excellent. The service was great our server was Claudia and she was on point. I would say a definite visit El Patron.

I went to have a frozen Margarita and I had to take it to the rocks, it did not arrive as I ordered. The chicken flutes in the same way, I ordered them with guacamole and they did not include it, I am not one of those who returns food to fix it. Anyways, they ruined my dinner.

The food was amazing! Omg hands down authentic, great tasting,Mexican food. It was incredible and the service was great. Very attentive. Offering buffet foods with the convenience of safety at a reasonable price. Will definitely come back and recommend to others!
